Letter from Matthew Williams in Quebec to Alfred Jones in Washington, D.C.

My Dearest Brother,

Please accept my sincerest apologies for my unsteady handwriting. My hand is cramped from copying out this letter so many times, but I know not what else I can do to ensure that it arrives to you safely. I have not had any word of you in nearly a year, and no one seems to know where you are, even those to whom you've written. Some speculate that you are in Washington, others claim you are fighting in the South. Just last week, one of my ministers thought he saw you on a train in New Hampshire. I am sending a copy of this letter to each of your addresses that I know, in the hopes that one of them might make it to your desk so that you may read it and reply.

Please know, brother, that I would never go to such lengths to reach you but for my deep and fervent care for you. I do not do so out of frustration, or anger, or whatever other emotions you think Arthur Kirkland has told me to feel towards you. More than anything, I worry for you and your wellbeing, and being without word from you for so long after a previous stretch of unbroken correspondence has infected my heart with such worry I have not known since you rebelled against the Crown. Isn't it funny how time flies so quickly? I was so much smaller than you, then. I know I'll probably be a little smaller than you always, but I hope you'll hear me as something of an equal when I ask you to please, tell me how you are and how you are managing in this dreadful war.

I write to you now out of selfish affection, but I would be remiss if I did not mention the recent Events which have, I heard, triggered significant distress between yourself and Arthur. I understand from him that you have apologized over the matter of the HMS Trent, and I will thank you for it on his behalf. I know Arthur seems unaffected by your letter—he spent several lines lauding its pristine composition, by the way—but please know that he was deeply touched by the gesture. The only reason he holds his tongue to you is because of the humans. The matter is now between his Prime Minister, your President, and their ambassadors. I have not yet met Mr. Lincoln, but I do hope he's a nicer man than Lord Palmerston. Arthur doesn't much like Palmerston either, though of course he can't say it. You mustn't tell Arthur I told you so. Palmerston is fond of this Confederacy against which you war in the South. I can tell that Arthur, despite all his attempts to sound neutral in his letters, is not.

You mustn't tell Arthur I told you any of that, either.

I know you must agonize over the British response to this war, to our apparent support of the Confederate rebels. I know also that you must've had word that the border has been fortified on my side by order of Her Majesty. However, in the midst of these bizarre times between us, it is my only and dearest wish for you to remember that Canada is, while British in law, quite resolved to make up its own mind. The British may tilt their hand towards the South, but my colonies' support of the Union is overwhelming and resolute. I urge you therefore to not view me or my people with hostility even as London makes such sluggish reassurances from afar. Do not read my pleas with the hardened eyes of a diplomat. Forgive Arthur for his missteps, if you are able. I love you, Alfred, and it is my dearest wish to avoid conflict with you. You and I have shared enough scuffles to satisfy me for another many centuries. My armies answer to European whims because they must, but out here alone on our side of the ocean, I cannot imagine going to war with you, not again.

If I know you (and I do), by now you are probably rolling your eyes to heaven upon reading such sentimentality pouring off of my pen. Under normal stars I would not blame you, but hopefully my uncharacteristic saccharinity communicates how deeply your silence continues to affect me. Wintertime in Quebec is dark, and the nights offer me nothing but time to imagine what has become of you in this last hellish year. I pray only that you are well, and staying alive as often as you are able.

Amid the dozen or so letters I'm scattering about your states, to your townhome in Washington I am also including two small tokens of my affection. The maple candy is tapped from my homestead some miles outside of Quebec (you visited once, I think, just after the turn of the century. I've expanded it quite a bit since then! You should come visit.) The star mold seemed appropriate for you, and I hope you will enjoy. Share one with Lincoln, if you get the chance, and do let me know how he likes it. The book, L'influence d'un livre, is not entirely new (it's been nearly twenty-five years since it was published), but I don't think it's yet caught on on your side of the border. It is a lovely little piece of satire about gold, alchemy, and romance: all things I thought might appeal to you. I've been trying to get Arthur to read it for years, now, but you know how he is with French. Tu n'apprends pas à un vieux singe à faire des grimaces, et Arthur est le plus âgé de tous.

I hope you will receive these gifts before Christmas, or else whenever next you visit Washington. Whenever that may be, I hope they find you well. Happy Christmas, Alfred. I miss you and your exuberant way of writing more than I can say.

1. As has been discussed, the Trent Affair created massive tensions between the U.S. and the British Empire for the better part of a year (mid 1861 to early 1862). During this time, Britain more or less indicated that it was liable to side with the Confederacy, a threat which the U.S. made very clear would spark a war between the U.S. and Britain. During the height of these tensions (Late 1861) there were very serious fears that, should war break out between Britain and the U.S., the Union would surge north and annex Canada. In this context, Matthew's desire to see Alfred and Arthur reconciled to each other is not just a brotherly concern, but a very serious matter of personal safety.

2. L'influence d'un livre, or The Influence of a Book, is a 1837 novel by Philippe Aubert de Gaspé, Jr. It is regarded as the first French Canadian novel, and is generally regarded as a satire of spiritual poverty in Québec. It retells the story of Charles Amand's quest for gold, his attempts at alchemy, magic, and other things.

Dr. Francis Collins, the director of the National Institutes of Health, took issue on Wednesday with President Trump’s suggestion that a coronavirus vaccine would be available by Election Day, as he repeatedly sought to reassure senators and the public that a vaccine would not be made available to the public unless it was safe and effective.

“Certainly, to try to predict whether it happens on a particular week before or after a particular date in early November is well beyond anything that any scientist right now could tell you and be confident they know what they are saying,” Dr. Collins told a Senate panel at a hearing on the effort to find a vaccine.

Wednesday’s hearing, before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, came amid growing concern over whether people would be reluctant to take a coronavirus vaccine, and whether Mr. Trump would apply political pressure on his administration to quickly approve one to give him a boost in his re-election bid against former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.

On Tuesday, a group of drug companies all in the race to develop vaccines pledged that they would not release any vaccines that did not follow rigorous efficacy and safety standards. Hours later, a leading vaccine developer, AstraZeneca, announced that it had suspended a large-scale clinical trial of a vaccine candidate after a patient experienced what may be a severe adverse reaction. Dr. Collins pointed to that development as “a concrete example of how even a single case of unexpected illness is sufficient to hold a clinical trial in multiple countries” — and evidence that “we cannot compromise” on safety.

Democrats on the panel grilled both Dr. Collins and Surgeon General Jerome Adams on the effect of Mr. Trump’s false statements about the vaccine, and whether they would erode trust in the development process. Dr. Collins demurred, however, as Senator Elizabeth Warren, Democrat of Massachussetts, asked him point blank whether Mr. Trump’s misinformation would discourage people from taking the vaccine and hurt the effort to distribute it.

“I’m not sure I know the answer to that question,” Dr. Collins said. When Ms. Warren pressed him again, he added, “I just hope Americans will choose to take the information they need from scientists and not from politicians.”

Six companies are in late-stage, Phase 3 clinical trials that seek to enroll 30,000 Americans, half of whom will be injected with the vaccine candidate and half of whom will get a placebo.

Dr. Collins said he had “cautious optimism” that a safe and effective vaccine would emerge by the end of the year, though he added, “but even that is a guess.”

Even as the trials proceed, there are huge questions about who will get a vaccine first and how it will be distributed. Dr. Adams told the panel that the administration intended to release guidelines later Wednesday that would allow state-licensed pharmacists to vaccinate anyone older than age 3.

The pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca halted global trials of its coronavirus vaccine on Tuesday because of a serious and unexpected suspected adverse reaction in a participant, the company said.

The trial’s halt, which was first reported by Stat News, will allow the British-Swedish company to conduct a safety review. How long the hold will last is unclear.

In a statement, the company described the halt as a “routine action which has to happen whenever there is a potentially unexplained illness in one of the trials, while it is investigated, ensuring we maintain the integrity of the trials.”

Officials in the United States and Europe said that the pause was a sign that the process was working as designed, serving as reassurance that a vaccine that made it through the all the phases of the clinical trials would be safe.

In an email response to a Reuters query, the World Health Organization said: “We are pleased to see vaccine developers assuring the scientific integrity of the trials and abiding by the standard guidelines and rules for the development of vaccines.”

And in an interview on “CBS This Morning,” Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the government’s top infectious disease expert, echoed that sentiment.

“That’s the reason why you have various phases of trials, to determine if in fact these candidates are safe,” Dr. Fauci said, adding that such a halt was “not uncommon at all.” The problems may not be directly linked to the vaccine, he said, but “you can’t presume that.”

“It’s really one of the safety valves that you have on clinical trials such as this,” he said.

A person familiar with the AstraZeneca trial, and who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that the participant had been enrolled in a Phase 2/3 trial based in the United Kingdom. The individual also said that a volunteer in the U.K. trial had been found to have transverse myelitis, an inflammatory syndrome that affects the spinal cord and is often sparked by viral infections. The timing of the diagnosis, and whether it was linked to the vaccine, was unclear.

AstraZeneca declined to comment on the location of the participant and did not confirm the diagnosis of transverse myelitis. “The event is being investigated by an independent committee, and it is too early to conclude the specific diagnosis,” the company said.

AstraZeneca’s vaccine is currently in Phase 2/3 trials in the U.K. and India, and in Phase 3 trials in Brazil, South Africa and more than 60 sites in the United States. The company intended for its U.S. enrollment to reach 30,000.

AstraZeneca is one of three companies whose vaccines are in late-stage clinical trials in the United States.

Britain, seeing a spike in new coronavirus cases, will ban most gatherings of more than six people beginning next week, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Wednesday.

“I wish we did not have to take this step,” Mr. Johnson said. “As your prime minister, I must do what is necessary to stop the spread of the virus.”

He stressed hand washing and wearing face coverings, and said the new rule would be in place only “as long as necessary.”

He said the order, which he referred to as the “Rule of Six,” superseded old guidelines and would apply to public and private gatherings.

The government’s chief medical officer, Professor Chris Whitty, said the uptick the country is seeing is not just a matter of testing more people and compared the situation Britain is facing to the one in France, where cases are surging.

Restaurants and other hospitality venues will also now be required by law to take customers personal details for contact-tracing purposes. And Mr. Johnson said there will be stronger enforcement of quarantine rules for those entering the country.

The new rules will take effect Monday and people who break them can be fined and possibly arrested.

“You must not meet socially in groups of more than 6,” Mr. Johnson said. “If you do you will be breaking the law.”

About 3,000 new cases were reported on both Sunday and Monday of this week, the highest daily figures in Britain since May. And about 2,500 more new cases and 32 deaths were reported on Tuesday.

In other developments around the world:

A fast-moving fire destroyed most of Europe’s largest refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos, leaving its 12,000 residents homeless just days after they were collectively quarantined because of a coronavirus outbreak there.

India’s Health Ministry said Tuesday that it planned to open classrooms for high school students on a voluntary basis, and only with their parents’ approval, starting Sept. 21. The vast majority of schoolchildren will continue to study online. The Taj Mahal will also open for tourism on Sept. 21, with access restricted to 5,000 people per day. India has recorded more than 4.3 million cases, second only to the United States, with nearly 90,000 new infections reported on Tuesday.

Ontario, Canada’s most populous province, said on Tuesday that it would take a four-week “pause” before it considers loosening restrictions or allowing further economic reopening. Christine Elliott, Ontario’s health minister, acknowledged that schools, which began reopening across the province on Tuesday, would most likely become vectors for the virus, and said that the province’s top priority was protecting them from transmission in the community. Ontario has reported at least 43,000 coronavirus cases, according to a New York Times database, including 852 in the past week.

Virus infections are rising in the Netherlands, which reported 1,140 confirmed cases in the past 24 hours, the country’s health minister, Hugo de Jonge, said on Wednesday. “This is the highest number in months,” Mr. de Jonge said. Hospitalizations are also increasing, he said.

China’s biggest air show will go ahead in November, the organizer said on Wednesday, backtracking on an earlier announcement that the event had been canceled because of the pandemic. The biennial International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition comes amid a steep downturn in the industry.

Germany extended a general travel warning to include all countries outside Europe through Sept. 30. But the foreign ministry said that starting in October, it would evaluate individual non-European destinations case by case, rather than issue another blanket warning. Germans may travel within the European Union and to other countries within Europe’s Schengen zone of passport-free travel, as well as to Britain, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican, without breaching the warning, which is an advisory, not a mandate. For the many Germans who travel on package tours, the warning will generally allow them to cancel bookings without charge.

Trump admitted to the journalist Bob Woodward that he played down the threat of the virus.

President Trump acknowledged to the journalist Bob Woodward that he had knowingly played down the coronavirus earlier this year even though he was aware it was “deadly” and vastly more serious than the seasonal flu.

“This is deadly stuff,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Woodward on Feb. 7 in one of a series of interviews he conducted with the president for his upcoming book, “Rage.” The Washington Post and CNN were given advance copies of the book and published details on Wednesday.

“You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu.”

That was a vastly different story than Mr. Trump was telling the public.

“I wanted to always play it down,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Woodward on March 19. “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic.”

In public, Mr. Trump claimed early on that the virus would disappear, predicting in February that by April, “when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.”

Mnuchin expressed little optimism about another stimulus bill.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin raised doubts on Wednesday about the likelihood of another economic stimulus package being passed this year and said his current focus is on a measure to extend government funding later this month.

The comments come as Republicans and Democrats in Congress remain far apart in their views about the scope and cost of another relief bill and as Mr. Trump has been largely disengaged from the negotiations.

Asked about the prospects of another bill, Mr. Mnuchin showed little optimism.

“I don’t know,” Mr. Mnuchin said outside the White House. “We’ll see. I hope there is. It’s important to a lot of people out there.”

The Treasury secretary said that he has been having discussions with Speaker Nancy Pelosi about a “clean” bill to keep the government funded until after the election, avoiding a government shutdown. He has also had talks with Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama, the top Republican on the Senate Appropriations Committee, about such a bill.

“It doesn’t seem promising at the moment on stimulus,” Mr. Shelby said on Tuesday after speaking with Mr. Mnuchin about a stopgap bill, known formally as a continuing resolution. “So if we don’t get a stimulus then the only game in town would be a few nominations and the CR, funding the government.”

Mr. Mnuchin has also been in touch with Senate Republicans about the scaled-back stimulus bill that they unveiled on Tuesday that would provide federal aid to unemployed workers, schools, farmers, the Postal Service and small businesses. The legislation, which slashes billions of dollars from the original $1 trillion Republican proposal unveiled in July, does not include another round of $1,200 stimulus checks or additional funding for state and local governments.

A vote on that bill that is scheduled for Thursday in the Senate is expected to fail to meet the necessary 60 vote threshold, as Democrats continue to push for a more robust and costly package.

Asked if he was frustrated by Trump’s unmasked rallies, Fauci says ‘we want to set an example.’

On Wednesday morning, a day after Mr. Trump held a large rally in North Carolina without wearing a mask, Anthony S. Fauci, the nation’s leading official on infectious diseases, expressed concerns about the example this set.

Appearing on “CBS This Morning” to talk about the hunt for a coronavirus vaccine, Dr. Fauci was asked whether the sight of such rallies is frustrating for him.

“Well, yes it is and I’ve said that often,” he said. “We want to set an example.”

Dr. Fauci, whose differences with the president have been noted throughout the course of the pandemic, said that public health measures such as wearing masks, keeping physical distance, avoiding crowds and moving activities outdoors rather than indoors “are the kind of things that turn around surges and also prevent us from getting surges.”

“So I certainly would like to see a universal wearing of masks,” he said.

While Mr. Trump’s recent rallies have been outdoors or in airport hangars, they are certainly crowded, with little evidence of physical distancing. And even in places where there is an official mask requirement, like North Carolina, masks at the rallies are few and far between. The Republican chairman of the county commission where the rally on Wednesday took place said beforehand that the president should wear a mask, given the statewide order on face coverings. Mr. Trump did not.

Hundreds of thousands of sailors are estimated to be trapped at sea, fighting exhaustion and despair.

When borders closed because of the pandemic, seafarers on ships around the world suddenly had no way home. For cargo ships, the process known as crew change, in which seamen are replaced by new ones as their contracts expire, ground nearly to a halt.

Six months later, there’s no solution in sight.

In June, the United Nations called the situation a “growing humanitarian and safety crisis.”

Last month, the International Transport Workers’ Federation, a seafarers’ union, estimated that 300,000 of the 1.2 million crew members at sea were essentially stranded on their ships, working past the expiration of their original contracts and fighting isolation, uncertainty and fatigue.

Some crew members have begun refusing to work, forcing ships to stay in port. And many in the shipping industry fear that the stress and exhaustion will lead to accidents, perhaps disastrous ones.

“There’s nothing I can do,” Ralph Santillan, a merchant seaman from the Philippines, said late last month from his ship, a 965-foot bulk carrier off South Korea. “I have to leave to God whatever might happen here.”

France’s prime minister, Jean Castex, is self-isolating and will hold his meetings remotely after he came into contact on Saturday with the director of the Tour de France, who has tested positive.

Mr. Castex’s isolation comes as France is facing a resurgence with a daily average of 7,000 cases for the past seven days and an increase in the number of patients in intensive care after months of decline.

Mr. Castex tested negative on Tuesday, but he will isolate until being retested seven days after the contact took place. As a consequence, France’s weekly cabinet meeting will take place by videoconference on Wednesday for the first time since the end of the country’s two-month lockdown in May.

President Emmanuel Macron also underwent a test, which was negative, after visiting Lebanon and Iraq last week, and interior minister Gérald Darmanin will be tested after spending time with Mr. Castex on Tuesday.

“We do for us what we require all fellow citizens to do,” Mr. Macron told reporters on Tuesday.

Mr. Macron nevertheless acknowledged that the situation was “worrying” and called on French citizens to be “more vigilant” in their private lives in the face of the epidemic.

Mr. Macron said that new measures to fight the virus would be discussed at a health defense council on Friday.

In particular, the government will discuss the widespread introduction of antigenic tests that are considered simpler and faster, just as the country is facing increasing delays in test results, hampering its fight against the spread of the virus.

Across the United States, colleges that have reopened for in-person instruction are struggling to contain the spread of the virus among tens of thousands of students, with perhaps their most complex problem being what to do with students who test positive or come into contact with someone who has.

Many have set aside special dormitories, or are renting off-campus apartments or hotel rooms to provide isolation beds for infected students and separate quarantine units for the possibly sick.

But some undergraduates and epidemiologists say the policies have broken down, often in ways that may put students and college staff members at risk.

At the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and the University of Notre Dame, students have reported their classmates for violating quarantine and wandering outside. At Iowa State University, a student who was waiting for his virus test results said he was sent back to his regular dorm room where he could have infected his roommate.

And at many campuses, students with confirmed or possible infections have flooded social media platforms to describe filthy rooms, meager food rations, lack of furniture, chaotic procedures and minimal monitoring from their universities.

The policy breakdown reflects the chaotic nature of this extraordinary semester, when schools are struggling to deliver both in-person and remote classes; to identify, isolate and treat coronavirus outbreaks; and to maintain safe behavior among sometimes unruly undergraduates.

At the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, Brianna Hayes developed a fever after a week at school, went to campus health services and was immediately assigned to a quarantine dorm for students with virus risks. Two days later, the university informed Ms. Hayes, a first-year student, that she had tested positive and would need to move again, this time to a Covid-19 isolation dorm.

But there was no university staff in the dorm to help sick students, Ms. Hayes said, and during her week in isolation, she said, no one from the university came to check on her.

“I felt like everyone was only interested in how I was affecting others, like who I came in contact with, and then I was just left to be sick,” she said.

Amy Johnson, U.N.C.’s vice chancellor for student affairs, said the school worked hard “to facilitate an easy and comfortable transition for students,” and to keep “lines of communication open.” With more than 900 student virus cases over the last month, the university switched to online instruction in mid-August, but it has permitted some students with demonstrated needs to remain on campus.

Elsewhere in the U.S.:

In New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Wednesday that an update on indoor dining in the city, which is currently prohibited, could come “as early as this week.” He added that the city would need to establish a threshold to shut down the activity in the event of an uptick in cases. His remarks came as Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo raised concerns about compliance, enforcement and safety standards. “We are trying our best to see if there’s a way we can give some clarity to the restaurant industry so they can have some option to keep going,” the mayor said.

The former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi was on Sardinia in August, as was his friend, the club owner Flavio Briatore. Now both are among hundreds of cases linked to the island, a favorite of rich partygoers.

It is unclear when or how Mr. Berlusconi and Mr. Briatore got the virus. What is known, though, is that the number of cases on the island shot up from a few dozen before the summer to more than 1,000 in a month.

Mr. Berlusconi, 83, lies in a Milan hospital with pneumonia. Mr. Briatore, who dropped in to pay him a visit at his Sardinian estate and who had publicly complained about what he said was an overreaction by the government to the pandemic, is quarantined.

In March, as cases and deaths exploded in the Italy’s north, the southern island’s governor, Christian Solinas, pleaded with the authorities in Rome to ban travel to Sardinia. The government obliged. For months, the island staved off the worst.

But August has been Sardinia’s hot season since the 1960s, and not even the pandemic could stop it.

Roberto Ragnedda, the mayor of the Sardinian town of Arzachena, said “10 days of madness” in August had caused “enormous damage to our image and to economy.”

Some offenders caught without a mask were required to lie down in a coffin. Others were ordered to sit in the back of a hearse.

As Indonesia’s coronavirus caseload surges past 200,000, some officials are finding creative ways to drive home the message that wearing a mask is necessary to prevent new infections.

In East Jakarta, the authorities punished several people with time in a coffin.

“The coffin is a symbol to remind people not to underestimate the coronavirus,” said Budhy Novian, head of East Jakarta’s public order agency. “It’s our effort to convey the message to the people: The Covid-19 number is high and it causes death.”

But officials halted the practice after critics pointed out that onlookers were violating social distancing rules by crowding around to gawk and take photos.

Indonesia, the world’s fourth most populous country, passed 200,000 reported cases on Tuesday. New cases have been averaging more than 3,000 a day for two weeks, according to a New York Times database, and the death toll of 8,230 is the highest in East Asia.

Indonesia has one of the lowest rates of testing in the world, and its positivity rate is nearly 14 percent, slightly higher than Sweden’s and well above the 5 percent that the World Health Organization has given as a rough benchmark for relaxing social distancing measures. (A rising positivity rate can point to an uncontrolled outbreak; it can also indicate that not enough testing is occurring.)

Some independent experts suspect that Indonesia’s actual number of cases is many times higher than 200,000.

In Jakarta, the capital, officials erected a coffin-themed monument last week to highlight the rising death toll and remind people to follow coronavirus protocols.

MOVING TO CANADA IS A JOKE...The Economic, Military, and Social Integration of North America

Eh? I can think of scores of reasons to move to Canada (or opt for the Mexican Riviera) . . . any place but Babylon the Great: The USA. The War in Iraq . . . or better yet: The entire Military-Industrial Complex sucking the life-blood out of Americana for starters. Or, how about the whole hedonistic culture of greed, avaricious appetites, and super sizing all things godly and ungodly--from Hollywood to Mega Churches; indeed, ours is a "city set on a hill which cannot be hid" but the closer you get to this glittering jewel, the more it resembles the "Little Shop of Horrors," you know, that flesh-eating plant crying out: Feed me, Seymour! Conspicuous consumption of a nation which spends $1.8 Billion more each day than the whole earth combined and finds herself some $14 Trillion in debt (National Debt + Balance of Payment/Trade Debts) is a bit too much, wouldn't you say?--after all, she represents but 5% of the world's population.

Come on, half the eagle is in a declared state of emergency and the overt identification by Big Brother of all things human is prepared and/or is itching to pounce upon American liberties once thought sacrosanct by both the ACLU and the NRA by euphemistic legislation called Patriotic Acts, and finally, a cashless society where all of us are implanted with chips awaiting true identity and debit through scanning devices at your local Safeway.

The clock is ticking. Peak oil, where American's "zero sum game" is played out--for you to gain I must loose--refuses to share her bounty with the Asian tigers of China and India; and, of course, they are more than pleased with our indulgence. Like Rome, our legions amongst the world's "provinces," are stretched thin--and the draft can't be all that far off if we're to maintain our economic edge and SUV-lifestyle (latest stats for the past two years show that 58% of all vehicles purchased in the USA are SUVs, pickups, or plain old gas guzzlers). And, as if these outrageous consequences weren't enough to abandon ship--toss in the worst natural disaster ever to afflict the homeland: Katrina; man, wait till we finance that one!

So . . . isn't it about time to flee to Canada or head for the Mexican Riviera? Eh? Canada's a safe haven for pot-people and same-sex marriage is the rage. Crime's relatively low compared to the lower 48 and the death penalty's been outlawed for nearly thirty years. Finally, most of the 125,000 Viet-Nam Era draft dodgers who fled to Canada stuck around and now constitute the leading edge of all the above progressive life-style. Wow, we're talkin' about socialized medicine for all--a veritable paradise compared to the inflictions of them patriots down under. Cheap drugs (includes tons of cannabis), affordable housing, tiny military budget, etc., etc.--a little cold, but you'll get used to it.

Finally, if Hollywood's collective apoplexy over President Bush's election can be believed--we're outta here . . . a few of these righteous indignations (unfulfilled) are duly noted, if for nothing else, their entertainment value. Notwithstanding the Hollywood stars and directors who claimed exodus was their only option under Bush--Barbra Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Michael Moore, Robert Altman, Lynn Redgrave, Pierre Salinger (now deceased), and Cher--all found the allure of Babylon on the Hudson irresistible; so much for leftist vibratos. Misquoted or just plain fluff--they all abide within the walls of the crystal palace celebrating the party atmosphere, as they star in a movie sequel to the "Left Behind Series" entitled: Talk is Cheap, Follow Us falling in love with a single mom quotes.

ECONOMIC INTEGRATION VIA NAFTA, CAFTA, FTAA--Enter the "Three Amigos"

Patriots would exclaim we're selling off and out America; globalists would see dollars galore; socialists would see an on-going rip off; and a whole bunch of people in the middle could care less (a.k.a. "victims anonymous").

Meanwhile Deanna Spingola in "Building a North American Community" (July 15, 2005) keeps telling it like it is:

"While our sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers having been spilling their blood in the sands of Iraq under the guise of restoring the country to the Iraqi citizens, our president is in the process of giving our country to the elite One World Order insiders. While our president is requiring protected borders in Iraq, he is obliterating, not only our southern, but our northern borders." Actually, Deanna (and you've got to read her entire article) is referring to the Bush/Fox/Martin meeting (USA/Mexico/Canada) held at Baylor University in Waco, Texas on 23 March 2005, where they were busy about establishing the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" - to wit, the SPPNA's troika:

"We, the elected leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the United States, have met in Texas to announce the establishment of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

"Over the past decade, our three nations have taken important steps to expand economic opportunity for our people and to create the most vibrant and dynamic trade relationship in the world (i.e., NAFTA; my insert). Since September 11 2001, we have also taken significant new steps to address the threat of terrorism and to enhance the security of our people. "But much still remains to be done. In a rapidly changing world, we must develop new avenues of cooperation that will make our open societies safer and more secure, our businesses more competitive, and our economies more resilient.

"Our Partnership will accomplish these objectives through a trilateral effort to increase the security, prosperity, and quality of life of our citizens. COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS--They're at it again!

Now don't go conspiratorial on me . . . hee-hee . . . don't need to . . . let the truth speak for itself:

It was on May 17, 2005 the CFR formalized its "Independent Task Force" to review at length the parameters of such a three-pact agreement among the USA, Canada, and Mexico. This 31-member force de jure was chaired by John F. Manley, Pedro Aspe, and William F. Weld and vice-chaired by: Robert A. Pastor, Thomas P. d'Aquino, Andrés Rozental. Cooperating with the CFR's efforts were the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales.

Indeed, the composite document released by the aforementioned is the very title of Spingola's article . . .

No wonder that Spingola and other American patriots view this as the "Great American Give-a-way!"

Take a gander at their timid prognostications and guess why moving to Canada's a joke . . .for what NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and CAFTA (Central American Free Trade Agreement) could not destroy, FTAA (Free Trade Area/Agreement of the Americas . . . a.k.a. "Building a North American Community") fully intends:

"We are asking the leaders of the United States, Mexico, and Canada to be bold and adopt a vision of the future that is bigger than, and beyond, the immediate problems of the present . . . they could be the architects of a new community of North America, not mere custodians of the status quo." (Canadian co-chair, John P. Manley, Former Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance). CHRISTIANS ARE THE MOST VULNERABLE

Now, listen to Spingola's assessment of all this--and, don't think she's some brainless Libertarian gone amok down in Texas somewhere . . .

"This basically means that Americans must give up their freedoms and hard won sovereignty along with all resources for the greater good of the 'New Community.' It is a socialistic equalization designed to make slaves of everyone in all three countries. This will occur as a result of the secret, subversive activities of our ruling elitist who have never sacrificed anything except their integrity. When it comes time to sell this socialistic venture, Bush will adopt his multipurpose 'Christian' stance and use every possible guilt maneuver to encourage this good hearted Christian country to open our hearts to the less fortunate. This is a ploy to make all of us less fortunate. There will be many who will fall for this scam under the pretext of Christianity. If we think Christians are media maligned now, just wait! We will be the most hated inmates in the camp!" Wow! Powerful projections here, right? I'm sure we'll somehow meet up with Spingola one day--if not in glory, then in some gulag cell contemplating how all of this got out of hand . . . I mean, if Shirley McClain went out on a limb, Spingola's going out on a twig:

This question is a bit broad but what is the world like

Alright, this could get a bit long so I apologize in advance.

Edit: this is super heckin long I’m sorry 

This is the basic world map of Yosra.

Enik, Shecai and Geshith are monarchies at different levels. 

Enik is a regular monarchy (ruler guided by a counsel) and also a diarchy (ruler and spouse rule together). 

Shecai is an absolute monarchy so the empress/emperor have complete control. 

Geshith is mostly a constitutional monarchy (kinda like Britain) on the Mainland although the ruler does have significant say in the happenings of the state and regularly meets with the elected prime minister (check the world map tag for a bit more info cause I’m working on close ups for all the countries). The Main Island is mainly large stationary tribal groups consisting mostly of naga (legs and tail) gorgons. Each group has a chief that inherits their title and there’s a head chief (title also inherited though can be stripped if the person’s deemed unfit) that organizes meetings between all of them to stay in contact.     

Hellui is a dictatorship run through heritage (if a tyrant dies their eldest child or named heir takes over).

Jakil is home to a nomadic people’s so there’s a lot of different groups that travel around. Every group has a leader of some sort (whether elected or by heritage depends on the tribe) that organizes and protects their tribe. There’s little outside influence because it’s so bloody cold. It has snow for most of the year despite having a between 4-8 hours of sunlight a day which becomes 12 hours in the summer. Any non-porcupine living there have established self sustaining villages, complete with farming, enclosed in clear domes and connecting but clear, enclosed walking paths (much like Ikduma’s underwater society but above ground). The tribes tend to steer clear of these places but they’re not against those people as long as they’re not disrupting things. Plus the people who live in the villages do venture out and trade with them from time to time.        

Liclica is an in-world second world country. Some parts are really developed and others not so much. Also some of the islands are home to tribes of people who will literally kill you if you come anywhere near it (freaky shit goes on there). In terms of government they’ve established a rocky confederacy but it’s only been in place for about 200 years and there are still people alive who remember when the country was under Geshith’s control (they were a tribal people before Geshith conquered them which unfortunately resulted in the enslavement of the native ghosts).   

Vremsin is a well developed democratic commonwealth country. 

Oktice is a theocracy (a deity is recognized as the ruler and rules are interpreted by oracles and the country is run by these interpreters). It is incredibly well developed and considered another commonwealth country.       

Ikduma is home to selkies so a large part of their civilization is actually underwater. Their land base is used for trading and farming and things. Selkies can’t breath underwater so underwater buildings are surrounded by clear, water tight domes and there are several chambers one has to go through to drain all the water before entering a building. Every building is connected by thick, clear, watertight, walking tunnels that give a great view of the surrounding waters but can be intimidating. Things like skateboards rollerblades etc. can be utilized in certian lanes of the walking tunnels but cars and bikes are permitted only on the surface. Non-selkie people’s are more than welcome in the underwater society if they can find a way down there first.  

Tiokal is classified as an in-world third world country and as a result is much like an old western movie. No external influence has reached the interior at all because it’s so bloody hot only the native scorpions and immigrated gorgons can handle it; everybody else who’s tried has died. Today, Geshith leaves Tiokal alone meaning any gorgons living there were a) born there or b) are really stupid it’s so hot what are you doing. It’s literally the opposite of Jakil. Also no one leaves unless they’re adventurous. Running water is a thing but electricity is scarce (and expensive; candles are cheaper) and cars do not exist, it’s all horse and buggy. Every town has a sheriff but other than that it’s the lawless west, pardner.  

Here’s a basic chart of things that isn’t quite finished yet but I’ll post it again under #world map once it’s filled out  

In terms of in-world movement all countries (except Tiokal obviously) are considered multicultural with Vremsin being a vast mixing pot of peoples much like real world Canada. No one leaves Tiokal unless they’re really adventurous so scorpions can be a rare sight in most other countries but there are some. Porcupines are a rarer sight in other countries than scorpions since they greatly prefer to stay in their tribal groups. Naga gorgons (gorgons with both legs and a tail) are developed tribal groups living in the rain forests of Geshith’s Main Island but can be found across the globe in steady numbers (it’s just a lot more concentrated in Geshith). 

Trade connections between countries vary. 

Enik, Shecai and Geshith have very good connections with each other (partially do to the 3 royal families intermarrying). Vremsin, Ikduma and Oktice are on good terms with everybody; including Tiokal (since trade happens along the coast where it’s cooler) and Jakil (not so much the tribal groups but the villages). Hellui’s rather conservative in there trade and doesn’t do business with Shecai, Geshith or Enik at all do to political power clashes (that changes when a new dictator comes to power tho). Tiokal mainly exports to Hellui, Geshith and, to a lesser extent, Liclica. Jakil has little to offer except stories and a good number of famous authors live there.           

Race is not defined by skin colour. It’s defined by species (check the list nabove).

Arranged marriage was a thing in Enik, Shecai and Geshith until relatively recently and still occasionally happens in Tiokal (but nowhere near as much as it did).

There are a sub class of peoples called Wanderers (which have members from nearly all races of people but are called by different terms based on language. Wanderer is the universal language term for them) who can be considered society’s outcasts to a certain extent. Waanderer’s typically have powerful magic and fire-telling (storytelling but with fire) is an ancient tradition (if you’ve ever seen the hunchback of notre dame, they’re like the Yosra version of gypsy’s). Their main concentration is in Enik (the majority of the Wanderer population are peciks (people with peacock tails)) but they can be found just about anywhere. 

The sub race of ghosts known as Apparitions are mysterious peoples that live almost on a higher plain than the rest of Yosra. These people’s have the ability to alter a person’s genes to make them an Apparition meaning that there are people of other races that have been unwittingly pulled into this higher plain. They’re completely invisible and speak a language called Liksora which cannot be taught. People who’ve had encounters with them but didn’t have their genes altered can pick up some of the language in the breeze and occasionally see flashes of this race of people but otherwise you’d have to become an Apparition or be born one to know the language fully.  

Another ghost sub race are the Revenants. Humans were absorbed into evolutionary lineage Megaannum’s (millions of years) ago and Revenants are the closest living relatives to humans. They’re classified as ghosts because they have an aura about them but lack the abilities of their brethren making up for it by becoming master’s of black magic. They’re thought to be extinct because it’s been millennia since any of them were seen up close and the person lived to tell the tale. They live on isolated islands far off Liclica’s coast and are the ones that will either kill you if you get close enough or curse you so you die anyway. 

There is a sub class of hellhounds known as wolves and a sub class of kitsune’s known as foxes. These are groups of people who’ve abandoned society and many have forgotten how to use their human forms or simply don’t have a human form if they were born into a wild pack. Wolf ales (especially alphas) typically have harems and the female alpha always has a litter either from the packs head alpha or one of the lesser ones (same with foxes but they don’t have litters so it’s typically one at a time unless it’s like twins or something). They live typically in forests or anywhere away from civilization and are most commonly found in Vremsin.   

Harems are common amongst chief’s of naga gorgon clans on Geshith’s Main Island but it depends on the chief. If there’s a female chief she can choose to have a male harem if she wishes. If there’s a chief that swing for more than one gender they can choose to have a mixed harem. All members of the chief’s harem (no matter their gender) must agree to be a part of it, otherwise the chief cannot/will not touch them. Harems are also often shared with the chiefs knowledge and consent and a small price must be paid (whatever that price is again depends on the chief) if someone wishes to leave the harem before the end of 2 years. After that if a member tells the chief they wish to leave then the chief can no longer touch them.       

Peciks have clutches like hellounds have litters and they range in size from about 2-6 kids per clutch/litter.

Social dynamics vary too but I won’t get into that.

 I have contacted you all, to receive urgent Legal and Medical attention, as i am dying from this ordeal. I have studied the laws that Canada is using to Block ,me from all help.   I am applying for Emergency Medical refugee Status - as The Kings Prerogative was used via The Maple Crown AND THE #WHITEGENOCIDE PROJECT TO KILL ME.  - I was able to start discussing this with the noted Lords and Her Majesty queen Elizabeth as the Queen of Canada. Her ability to quash this JT law or his interpretation of the Law and have my life saved. As these Legal proceedings - are lengthy and I am dying from the infection - I don't know how much Time i have left but at least I alerted everyone and that opens up dialogue when I present myself to an Embassy. At that point i will be incarcerated and without Urgent Medical treatment that i cant get here in Malaysia. At that point I am in gravest of danger.  Malaysia is a filthy country -  with a ramshackle - culture - mostly uneducated and poor - dangerous through rampant alcoholism - and infections such as the Leptospirosis - Weill;s Disease - that i was infected with -  There is so much going on here - that has happened -  I live in a twilight zone - a haze of illness -

So if you have a hard time following - In the past 10 months- i have experienced a violent deadly infection. That made me blind -  damaged my heart - my liver - my kidneys - my brain. I had to somehow document it - blog it - to try and create a record of how I died . I am told that as Canada has disavowed my existence - and under current Consular law - Malaysia can do to me as it sees fit. If I die - My body will be dumped ad all my belongings stolen.  That is if i die in bed.

 If i die on the streets - on errands - the body is trashed - i will have no ID on me - and though the Malaysian Police know all this. It is deemed as misinformation. I will be arrested if I try to leave without court documents that prevent me from being harmed - 

As the Malaysians are so dangerous - any interactions - will result in life imprisonment here - partially due to the fact that I will either have a Seizure - a coronary --a stroke - I will blister - and be pocked - itching - and eventually - I will seize - and die - as the anaphylaxis will kick in - and i will choke to death. I have gone through all this in 2017. Why I am still  alive i do not know.

But any sudden changes that increase stress - its bye bye - and with no Hospital care - No one to translate all this - they don't speak English -  am a large man - they are small - and they will in a group attack me -  As my convulsions - etc will be seen as acts of violence. So they will think just Kill me. 

  I require several months in hospital - an MRI - A Cat Scan - A spinal Tap- and then as this disease has mutated - I may develop Leukemia - Muscular Dystrophy - Schizophrenia- Zika - HIV -Lyme disease - severe Heart Disease - Hepatitis - Septicemia- Meningitis - the list is endless all fatal if not treated. Why so dangerous - Its RAT URINE - FECES- fed on by Maggots - Bed bugs - worms- parasites and injected right in my blood stream. 

 Again my blogs have all this information. And still people think its unreal - a fantasy - or ?? This is 2018 and I am dealing with a form of the plague, a ancient disease - an ancient law - from Canada - known as the King's prerogative.  

 Canada's  consular laws became vicious - and deadly - allowing for my certain death and that of others 1400 Canadians ? are dying in many countries. Canada is so hostile under these circumstances - I have been in Contact with Canada for 11 months begging for help. Canada is well aware of my plight. Its Consular ruing - is being used to kill an innocent Canadian citizen. (6) Both Malaysia and Canada have denied me urgent Medical Attention and forced me to seek  Medical Asylum in many countries. 

(7) I have invoked His Holiness Pope Francis and the weight of The Vatican laws that support all Human Rights. JT actions have put a vague ancestral law circa 1700 in charge of my life and death. The Vatican Laws - The Laws of God in all of ts forms supports my life - ? - if argued by a Court of the Magnitude - of The Human Rights courts in Geneva, The Hague ( Though Canada owns the Hague vis a vis - Deputy Prosecutor James Stewart.) The Canadian Supreme Court - The British Supreme Court - The Vatican Court - Supported courts in Sweden - Italy- France & Germany.

 (8) JT prefers you to debit my case and care against the Canadian 1 Billion $ consular fund. In all cases the payments are the Millions enough to afford the battery of lawyers - etc.

 They- most  Malaysian medical staff -  use GOOGLE to diagnose aliments and search out recommended medication via Google - Why get a medical degree - when you can just google your patients ailments.

In an interview with the Guardian, the former Labour prime minister Gordon Brown said that the world was in danger of “sleepwalking in a future [financial] crisis” because there is not enough cooperation between governments and central banks globally. My colleague Larry Elliott wrote it up here.

The European commission has responded to the UK government’s claim that, in the event of there being no Brexit deal, it would not pay the EU the £39bn already agreed, the Telegraph’s James Crisp reports.

(It is saying it is not prepared to renegotiate the sum - although in practice, if the withdrawal agreement were to collapse and the EU wanted to recover money owed to Brussels, there would in practice have to be a renegotiation.)

.@EU_Commission responds to @DominicRaab in today's @Telegraph , where Brexit sec said UK would not pay Brexit bill if there is no deal. Spox said: "We will not be revisiting those areas of the Withdrawl Agreement that are now settled , including the financial settlement. " 1/

.@MargSchinas goes onto quote @JunckerEU speech yesterday. "The president said yesterday that we stand ready day and night to reach a deal. .This is something we owe to our citizens and business to ensure UK withdrawal is orderly and there is stability afterwards". 2/

Presumably there would not be much stability if UK refused to pay bill, which EC has always argued represents a settling of accounts (money owed) before leaving. Other Q's in play is whether UK would be legally liable or not.. ENDS

In the Commons George Eustice, the fisheries minister, is making a statement about the scallop dispute with the French. He told MPs that the negotiations intended to resolve the dispute had failed.

Downing Street has confirmed that the Bank of England governor, Mark Carney, attended today’s special no-deal Brexit cabinet meeting, after he was spotted at No 10.

The Canadian, who has just extended his term for six months to provide some stability over the departure period, was at the meeting for the first half an hour, to update ministers on the bank’s plans, Theresa May’s spokeswoman said.

Here is Yvette Cooper, the Labour MP and chair of the Commons home affairs committee, on the Home Office’s decision not to introduce protest-free buffer zones outside abortion clinics. She said:

This is a very disappointing response from the home secretary.

The whole point of having this review was because existing powers are not working or are proving cumbersome and difficult for councils or the police to use.

The Home Office has rejected calls for buffer zones to be introduced outside abortion clinics across the country. In a written ministerial statement, Sajid Javid, the home secretary, said introducing protest-free areas outside clinics to prevent harassment of patients “would not be a proportionate response”. He went on:

Having considered the evidence of the review, I have therefore reached the conclusion that introducing national buffer zones would not be a proportionate response, considering the experiences of the majority of hospitals and clinics, and considering that the majority of activities are more passive in nature.

It’s not a threat, it’s statement of fact as part of our no-deal planning that, yes, we would be mindful of our strict legal obligations, but the amount and the phased way it is set out in the withdrawal agreement would fall away because there would be no deal.

It’s not a threat and it’s not an ultimatum, it’s a statement of fact. I don’t say anything outside of the negotiation room that I haven’t and wouldn’t directly to our EU friends and partners, and I think it is well understood on both sides.

The reality of the ERG proposals, and the approach of saying we would accept the EU’s offer of a Canada deal, is not to look at the small print. The EU is offering in relation to the Ceta [Canada-EU trade deal] arrangements not just the deal that they have with Canada but a backstop arrangement which for all practical purposes would leave us indefinitely in the customs union. And that’s part of the offer they’ve made. So there isn’t an easy way round this.

In the past months, whenever we needed unity in the Union, Britain was at our side, driven by the same values and principles as all other Europeans. This is why I welcome prime minister May’s proposal to develop an ambitious new partnership for the future, after Brexit. We agree with the statement made in Chequers that the starting point for such a partnership should be a free trade area between the United Kingdom and the European Union.

But we also ask the British government to understand that someone who leaves the union cannot be in the same privileged position as a member state. If you leave the union, you are of course no longer part of our single market, and certainly not only in the parts of it you choose.

We’ve had some good news from businesses like Vodafone and Three. They have publicly said they wouldn’t introduce any roaming fees for UK consumers travelling on the continent.

What we have said is we would like to see other companies following suit, but, in any event, we would legislate for a limit on roaming charges to make sure in a no-deal scenario that we protect British consumers.

In his Today interview Dominic Raab, the Brexit secretary, was also asked about the dozens of Conservative MPs who have indicated that they are opposed to Theresa May’s Chequers proposal. He effectively delivered an ultimatum: they would either have to back the Chequers plan, or see the UK leaving the EU without a deal, he said. In other words, it would be “deal or no deal”, to coin a phrase.

When it was put to him that, if May did come back from Brussels with a deal based on her Chequers plan, he replied.

No, I don’t think so. I think we’ll come back with a good deal. I think it will focus minds. And I think colleagues will look at the choices they’ve got and we all have to be responsible for that.

I do appreciate the concerns on all sides ... But when push comes to shove, there will be the choice between the deal that I’m confident we can strike with the EU and the no deal scenario. And we are making sure we are ready for the latter. But I think it would be by far the optimum outcome to have a negotiated deal, and I think that will focus everyone’s minds.

This is the crux of it for the govt - they hope, in the end, that there simply won't be enough MP s who'd risk it - Raab says.... “There will be a binary choice between a deal and no deal and I believe that will focus minds.”

One of the more interesting political developments of the last few years has been the growing rupture between the Conservative party and big business. The Tories used to be effectively the political wing of the CBI, but Brexit has changed that and we saw a relatively small, but nevertheless telling, example of that this morning when Dominic Raab, the Brexit secretary, criticised John Lewis for saying Brexit was contributing to a collapse in profits.

The company announced a dire first-half profit performance this morning. Sir Charlie Mayfield, its chairman, explained:

These are challenging times in retail. Profits before exceptionals are always lower and more volatile in the first half than the second half. It is especially so this half year, driven mainly by John Lewis & Partners where gross margin has been squeezed in what has been the most promotional market we’ve seen in almost a decade.

With the level of uncertainty facing consumers and the economy, in part due to ongoing Brexit negotiations, forecasting is particularly difficult but we continue to expect full-year profits to be substantially lower than last year for the Partnership as a whole.

Well, I think it’s probably rather easy at this moment in time for any business that isn’t doing rather well to point to Brexit. But let me just give you the facts; this week we’ve had economic growth accelerating, we’ve had real wages accelerating, we’ve had Relx, the Anglo-Dutch business information company, revise its structure to be headquartered in the UK. So, actually, we have got positive news on the economy this week ...

I don’t doubt that some of the uncertainty around these negotiations will have an impact on business. That’s why we are putting all our energy into getting the good deal that we want with our EU friends and partners ... All I’m just gently saying is that it is rather easy for a business to blame Brexit and the politicians rather than to take responsibility for their own situation.

  I am applying for Emergency Medical refugee Status - as The Kings Prerogative was used via The Maple Crown AND THE #WHITEGENOCIDE PROJECT TO KILL ME.  - I was able to start discussing this with the noted Lords and Her Majesty queen Elizabeth as the Queen of Canada. Her ability to quash this JT law or his interpretation of the Law and have my life saved. As these Legal proceedings - are lengthy and I am dying from the infection - I don't know how much Time i have left but at least I alerted everyone and that opens up dialogue when I present myself to an Embassy. At that point i will be incarcerated and without Urgent Medical treatment that i cant get here in Malaysia. At that point I am in gravest of danger. The Malaysian authorities are well aware of who I am - they are hands off - until I try to leave - they know I am ill -  they also dont want to deal with any of the paperwork and legalities  and upon my legal arrest - I wil be surrounded with over 25 Law enforcement - who cannot speak English- or understand - and I will collapse as I am in a state of permanent collapse from this infection.  

 As a result of my bad health - they will go crazy - they will start taking selfies and pictures of me - call an ambulance and as they routinely Kill their patients - the doctors i Cannot let them near me- These quacks - have very little medical training except via Google and as

Thereby making Medical quackery - a fundamental modus operandi. The reality is that few know of Malaysia's vast corruption except has a concept and a ranking has # 2 in the world.  

 . In Malaysia for many its still 1974. Meaning that they are displaced in time and space -rendering them virtually incompetent.  Malaysia is a filthy country -  with a ramshackle - culture - mostly uneducated and poor - dangerous through rampant alcoholism - and infections such as the Leptospirosis - Weill;s Disease - that i was infected with -  There is so much going on here - that has happened -  I live in a twilight zone - a haze of illness - 

 Port Dickson is a Village - with few modern convenience - and people that are very dangerous.

So if you have a hard time following - In the past 10 months- i have experienced a violent deadly infection. That made me blind -  damaged my heart - my liver - my kidneys - my brain. I am told that as Canada has disavowed my existence - and under current Consular law - Malaysia can do to me as it sees fit. If I die - My body will be dumped ad all my belongings stolen.  That is if i die in bed.

 If i die on the streets - on errands - the body is trashed - i will have no ID on me - and though the Malaysian Police know all this. It is deemed as misinformation. I will be arrested if I try to leave without court documents that prevent me from being harmed - 

As the Malaysians are so dangerous - any interactions - will result in life imprisonment here - partially due to the fact that I will either have a Seizure - a coronary --a stroke - I will blister - and be pocked - itching - and eventually - I will seize - and die - as the anaphylaxis will kick in - and i will choke to death. I have gone through all this in 2017. Why I am still  alive i do not know.

But any sudden changes that increase stress - its bye bye - and with no Hospital care - No one to translate all this - they don't speak English -  am a large man - they are small - and they will in a group attack me -  As my convulsions - etc will be seen as acts of violence. So they will think just Kill me. 

  I require several months in hospital - an MRI - A Cat Scan - A spinal Tap- and then as this disease has mutated - I may develop Leukemia - Muscular Dystrophy - Schizophrenia- Zika - HIV -Lyme disease - severe Heart Disease - Hepatitis - Septicemia- Meningitis - the list is endless all fatal if not treated. Why so dangerous - Its RAT URINE - FECES- fed on by Maggots - Bed bugs - worms- parasites and injected right in my blood stream.

 I have contacted you all, to receive urgent Legal and Medical attention, as i am dying from this ordeal. I have studied the laws that Canada is using to Block ,me from all help. The legal precedents are extraordinarily fulfilled via all the Treaty Laws - Prerogative Laws - The Human Rights codes & Laws, The Rome act and the ACTS that deal with Refugee Status - and the Laws that support that many of my fundamental Canadian Constitutional laws are broken by Justin Trudeau. 

But i am not a lawyer. But i did make a ton of notes and contacted everyone ..EVERYONE ! but i dont have much longer - i am failing but ??? 

  I am applying for Emergency Medical refugee Status - as The Kings Prerogative was used via The Maple Crown - I was able to start discussing this with the noted Lords and Her Majesty queen Elizabeth as the Queen of Canada. Her ability to quash this JT law or his interpretation of the Law and have my life saved. As these Legal proceedings - are lengthy and I am dying from the infection - I don't know how much Time i have left but at least I alerted everyone and that opens up dialogue when I present myself to an Embassy. At that point i will be incarcerated and without Urgent Medical treatment that i cant get here in Malaysia. At that point I am in gravest of danger. The Malaysian authorities are well aware of who I am - they are hands off - until I try to leave - they know I am ill -  they also dont want to deal with any of the paperwork and legalities  and upon my legal arrest - I wil be surrounded with over 25 Law enforcement - who cannot speak English- or understand - and I will collapse as I am in a state of permanent collapse from this infection.  

 As a result of my bad health - they will go crazy - they will start taking selfies and pictures of me - call an ambulance and as they routinely Kill their patients - the doctors i Cannot let them near me- These quacks - have very little medical training except via Google and as

 I  am FORCIBLY detained in Malaysia - April 2017-  to current times.DUE TO AN ACT OF BIO TERRORISM and i am dying. 

 I was  lethally brutally attacked in Port Dickson by a crazy land lord - who had placed bedding that was infected with a known Malaysian Plague virus - that is considered 100% lethal if not treated -  and 50 -50 if treated, 

People in general are very confused by their thoughts of Malaysian - procedures - life - everything but these people have never been here - been hijacked - murdered en defacto. 

 Malaysia is a google paradigm - its " Reality is applied through a social Media platform with very little basis in Modernity"  google has taken the place of many standard accreditation for Medical Training. Thereby making Medical quackery - a fundamental modui operandi. The reality is that few know of Malaysia's vast corruption except has a concept and a ranking has # 2 in the world.  

 . In Malaysia for many its still 1974. Meaning that they are displaced in time and space -rendering them virtually incompetent. As well as 1 reason that the world knows nothing of this situation is it usually happens to Indonesian - Thai - Bornese - Nepalese basically immigrants that are essentially more impoverished than the Gilla Malaysians. Note it says silent killer - but ignored the other Murderer - aspect. If you are in Malaysia for any reason - as a foreigner you are in grave Danger. I have been attacked by chains - wild screaming of being killed - accusations - extortion - theft - utter madness - 

I have no idea of how I am still alive.

 Malaysia is a filthy country -  with a ramshackle - culture - mostly uneducated and poor - dangerous through rampant alcoholism - and infections such as the Leptospirosis - Weill;s Disease - that i was infected with -  There is so much going on here - that has happened -  I live in a twilight zone - a haze of illness - 

 Port Dickson is a Village - with few modern convenience - and people that are very dangerous. 

Everything here is rancid. All the info is in my blogs v-blogs - but I am extremely ill - dying in fact. 

So if you have a hard time following - In the past 10 months- i have experienced a violent deadly infection. That made me blind -  damaged my heart - my liver - my kidneys - my brain. I had to somehow document it - blog it - to try and create a record of how I died . I am told that as Canada has disavowed my existence - and under current Consular law - Malaysia can do to me as it sees fit. If I die - My body will be dumped ad all my belongings stolen.  That is if i die in bed.

 If i die on the streets - on errands - the body is trashed - i will have no ID on me - and though the Malaysian Police know all this. It is deemed as misinformation. I will be arrested if I try to leave without court documents that prevent me from being harmed - 

As the Malaysians are so dangerous - any interactions - will result in life imprisonment here - partially due to the fact that I will either have a Seizure - a coronary --a stroke - I will blister - and be pocked - itching - and eventually - I will seize - and die - as the anaphylaxis will kick in - and i will choke to death. I have gone through all this in 2027. Why I am still  alive i do not know.

But any sudden changes that increase stress - its bye bye - and with no Hospital care - No one to translate all this - they don't speak English -  am a large man - they are small - and they will in a group attack me -  As my convulsions - etc will be seen as acts of violence. So they will think just Kill me. 

  I require several months in hospital - an MRI - A Cat Scan - A spinal Tap- and then as this disease has mutated - I may develop Leukemia - Muscular Dystrophy - Schizophrenia- Zika - HIV -Lyme disease - severe Heart Disease - Hepatitis - Septicemia- Meningitis - the list is endless all fatal if not treated. Why so dangerous - Its RAT URINE - FECES- fed on by Maggots - Bed bugs - worms- parasites and injected right in my blood stream. 

 Again my blogs have all this information. And still people think its unreal - a fantasy - or ?? This is 2018 and I am dealing with a form of the plague, a ancient disease - an ancient law - from Canada - known as the King's prerogative.  

 Canada's  consular laws became vicious - and deadly - allowing for my certain death and that of others 1400 Canadians ? are dying in many countries. Canada is so hostile under these circumstances - I have been in Contact with Canada for 11 months begging for help. Canada is well aware of my plight. Its Consular ruing - is being used to kill an innocent Canadian citizen. I am in deep PTSD - as I can not believe my little life is being suspended by the vagaries of those placed in a position of power to keep us SAFE. 

 There are many legal arguments and precedents to support the International community to save my life. Justin Trudeau has chosen a legal platform to procure any Medical and legal help that I need.  (1) Canada has refused any information as to how to get Medical Help and in fact prevent all MP ( Dr. HEDY Fry) to communicate with me - Enforcing the ruling that my death is not only only inevitable - but DESIRED by Canada. 

(2) This implies a death sentence imposed on me by Canada. 

(3) I many regards Canada vis a vis Justin Trudeau - has broken many of its constitutional laws in regards to Human Rights - Canadian Citizens - Abuse - Cruelty - that result in Canada causing my death. Thereby voiding its abolitionist stance against Capital Punishment as by Canada - JT actions - I am sentenced to death.

(4) As The Queen of England is the Queen of Canada - and Justin Trudeau by being Prime Minister has assumed the Constitutional title in regards to The King's Prerogative.  Justin Trudeau has therefore by legal constitutional association - its laws and amendments its decrees has coupled Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2 to assist in supporting my death.  

(5) Her Majesty - is forced by  International Human Rights - And the Laws of the commonwealth to suspend - and to defend my Right to Life that both Malaysia and Canada have decreed that I die, as a result of their interpretation of their Constitutional rights.

(6) Both Malaysia and Canada have denied me urgent Medical Attention and forced me to seek  Medical Asylum in many countries. 

(7) I have invoked His Holiness Pope Francis and the weight of The Vatican laws that support all Human Rights. JT actions have put a vague ancestral law circa 1700 in charge of my life and death. The Vatican Laws - The Laws of God in all of ts forms supports my life - ? - if argued by a Court of the Magnitude - of The Human Rights courts in Geneva, The Hague ( Though Canada owns the Hague vis a vis - Deputy Prosecutor James Stewart.) The Canadian Supreme Court - The British Supreme Court - The Vatican Court - Supported courts in Sweden - Italy- France & Germany.

 (8) JT prefers you to debit my case and care against the Canadian 1 Billion $ consular fund. In all cases the payments are the Millions enough to afford the battery of lawyers - etc. 

(9) I do ask that the King's Prerogative be voided - as its largess is seen as font hat evil springs from. JT - Canada is being extraordinarily Machiavellian - and dances the Macabre in a waltz conducted by Mephisto itself.  

   I was bed ridden for most of 2017 - I am trying to save my life and let people know of the danger of Malaysia and Canada. 

 Malaysian doctors refuse to treat visitors - and  I was thrown out of many hospitals and Kliniks here in Malaysia. The doctors screamed GET OUT - 

they refused me medicine -  Finally they admitted that I will never get care for any disease here in Malaysia -  and in fact - they tell me - that Malaysian doctors often Kill - or damage their foreign patients as they are not trained.

 They- most  Malaysian medical staff -  use GOOGLE to diagnose aliments and search out recommended medication via Google - Why get a medical degree - when you can just google your patients ailments. 

All this is well documented in my many blogs - is it Cruel - Abuse - Medical Drama - Imprisonment - Death - that i am trying to avoid 

 So I have to receive urgent Medical help - with in 90 days - I am appealing for Asylum to the Vatican - Italy - France - Germany - England -  Australia - Sweden.
