So, I was watching the episode again and noticed that during Laudna's initial outburst, when she was talking about Bor'dor, Laura kept touching her forehead. Cause that's where the circlet is.

And just moments later Imogen tells Laudna that she can't hear her thoughts anymore. Yesterday, watching the episode for the first time, I didn't fully understand why she said that, in that moment.

And it took me a while to understand the implications of that phrase before the kiss, too.

But now I think I get it. Here, in the beginning of the episode, Imogen was heartbroken that she couldn't hear Laudna's thoughts because she wanted to help her, to ease her sadness.

Before the circlet she relied on reading Laudna's thoughts, to better understand what she was going through. But now she can't anymore! And while in every other circumstance that would be a good thing - to be finally free of the noise - now it's awful. She just wants to help the woman she loves ç_ç
