You're still watching anime in your late 20s?
Well, yeah, some series I started in high school are still ongoing. Am I supposed to just not see how they end?

public libraries in the usa offering free digital library cards to people not in their areas (as of october 2023):
brooklyn (13-21yo us residents)
seattle (13-26yo us residents)
boston (13-26yo us residents, EDIT: just commonly banned books)
los angeles (13-18yo california residents)
san diego (12-26yo us residents, not the whole collection just commonly banned books)
these books unbanned cards (unless otherwise stated) get you access to each library's complete libby/cloud library collection, no hoopla/kanopy/physical copies included.
ebook collections are expensive to maintain (many american libraries have annual fees for non-residents because of this) but because of an uptick in book banning (particularly brutal in mississippi last summer) larger libraries have opened their doors more, which is very kind of them!
i've used my seattle card for the last several months and their libby collection has about three times the books that my local library does, which is wonderful for accessing more niche titles or skipping a waiting list. would love to hear of similar ebook initiatives internationally!
i use library extension (firefox/chrome/edge compatible) to check all my collections (+ the internet archive) at once, works for several different countries highly recommend it.
spotify seems to be offering 15hrs/month of audiobook listening to premium subscribers and while that does seem useful if you're already paying and are after a new release with a long library waitlist, libraries are better for everything else.

These were meant to be warmups. ANYWHO!
Went to a random palette site and picked ones that were reminiscent of Wally's colors but still very different that I liked and grabbed some outfits to do a sort of challenge for myself. Idk, thought it would help me out of my funk.
Suffice to say, I'm feeling a bit better now~ These were really fun to do!!!

A progress is in you
Its a beautiful day! Hi! its me Andrianajoy U. Sullano. Let me share to you some tips and ideas on how to love yourself even in a darkest moments.
Maybe you are wondering why it is my topic that I am going to share. Here it goes..
Are you experiencing thinking too much? Lack of confidence? thinking of self is not enough? thinking the comments of people in your life rather than trusting yourself? Thinking that you are the worst person in the world? Maybe this is the blog that you are waiting for, may help you to love yourself, so read it with full of feelings.
Everyday is a blessing to us right? everyday is a free day, to conquer the world if you are not letting others to drag you down. Yes! you read it right, the reason that you might be having difficulties in reaching your goals or should I say loving yourself is because you let others enter in your life and you let them break you into pieces. The most precious is your life, your happiness and your contentment in this world is the most important. We only live once, do not let others drag you to the darkest and let you think that you are not the best.
Enjoy your life, love yourself. Maybe it is too late but there is a chance to be free in your own cave. Like what I have said, you are precious, you are like a diamond that shines bright.
Tumblr media
Tips on how to love yourself even in a darkest moments:
Open your eyes, do not afraid to try.
Let your eyes wide open, do not afraid to try on other things that you think you are the best.
Do not think of what other people say.
Remember, it is not worth it to listen of what other people say. If you listen to them, it can led you to overthink.
Stop thinking too much negative, it can cause you to fail in life.
Stop thinking too much, always think positive. Always manifesting and claiming, there's no one can stop you from being positive only if you love yourself.
Conquer the world without hesitation. -Conquer the world without hesitation, you only live once!
Smile everyday! it is very effective to start your day with full of happiness. -Being positive everyday can led you to have a happy life.
Think of yourself rather than others. -Always think of yourself, the most precious in this world is your self rather than others.
Always think that you are beautiful. -You are beautiful no matter what. You are beautiful in your own way and no one can stop you from being beautiful.
Trust yourself -The most important thing is to trust yourself, trust your progress.
Now, let this blog change you from being negative and not loving yourself. Enjoy your progress!
REMEMBER YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, YOU ARE WORTH IT AND YOU ARE THE BEST!

Anyone else kinda find Among Us VR to be like, the biggest possible PR disaster of an idea to date?
Apparently so, given the amount of people saying there’s incredibly young children playing, not teens or nothing either, practically toddlers. Anyone remember when hackers on GTAV put a really poorly animated sex animation and the media lost their minds thinking it was actually in-game, not knowing anything about anything ever?
In general, I think making children’s VR games is a bad idea, like, really, really, really fucking bad, please do not buy your toddler a fucking VR headset, I will genuinely prefer the ipad. Stupid beats broken or dead.
Incredible to me. VR is primarily dominated by adults, doing adult things. I’m not saying VR is like driving and owning a car, but I am saying I wouldn’t trust a kid with either the car or the headset, not in equal measure, but definitely on the same side of “what the fuck, no, what is wrong with you” in terms of allowing a child free reign of the house with a headset blocking their vision and excitement none of us have felt since childhood.
Like, the Wii, sure, there were injuries just as you’d expect from any physically active activity. But you could fucking SEE??? I think there’s kind’ve a blatant difference between giving a child a toy sword vs blind folding him then telling him he’s a crewmate and to run around aimlessly. You really think the border walls built into these headsets are gonna matter to a kid having fun? Even the screen going black for a moment and then showing grainy warped video of what’s around you IRL isn’t going to stop the All Fallible (Developing) Human Brain from broken neck and shattered eye city.
Especially with how small people’s rooms actually are. Yes, people’s rooms are small, vr devs, those joysticks aren’t optional, play games before making them please.
So, like not giving a child a fucking car, I think not blindfolding them and letting their imaginations run wild and to run around the house is also a good idea. And if that somehow manages not to be the case, then you’re bringing kids into an environment completely unfiltered, unmoderated and they’re “physically” there alone with the adult.
You really think the parent that bought their 6 year old a car is also going to watch them drive it? They don’t even do that with ipads and guns. Get real.
Child Capitol of the internet, next to fortnite and minecraft, solely online experience, and they’re really gonna bring children into the adult market.
I give it 1 week before they realize, oh, yeah, we SHOULD probably have some form of moderation, the average player’s age is 8, after all.

Begging, begging, begging people to stop associating aging and femininity in men/masculine people as Wrong and Predatory. Femininity has no age limit.
To any feminine man, masculine person, or really, anybody who needs to hear this: Your femininity deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Aging is a natural and unique part of life, and you don't have to sacrifice your femininity for fear of being "too old" to be accepted or seen as charming. You are already charming.
There is no limit to being who you are. No matter what you're told, you still deserve to completely claim yourself.

Hey adults: Why do you like being an adult? What do you like about your life?
A couple weeks ago I told the kids at my work that "Being an adult is pretty nice, actually," and they looked shocked, laughed incredulously, and told me I was the first person they'd ever heard say that
So clearly we adults need to talk about this way more often
The past few years have been hard for a lot of people, me included. Covid sucked. I lost three relatives and three pets in one year. Right after lockdown ended, I got badly injured, and ended up housebound for six months and (much more) disabled for two years, and that sucked too.
And you know what? Literally all of that was easier and better than being a teenager.
I like being an adult. I like my life. Even when it's hard, it's mine, and I am building to the best of my ability the a life that I want to live.
I talked about a lot of why being an adult is something worth looking forward to in my last post, so right now I'll simply say this:
I love actually knowing who I am now. I love that I learned and am learning what I want and need. I love that I have independence and autonomy and don't get treated like a kid. I love the fact that I'm the one who gets to decide want I want to do and what I need. I also love that I'm learning to sew. I love that I've had pet rats, and next will have a pet cat. I love that I got top surgery. I love the way I've decorated my room. I love traveling to visit and crash and even just hang out and do work with my friends, when I can. I love that I started reading good news every day, and that I actually have hope for the future, and that I started this blog and have been able to help give so many other people hope, too.
So, here's a call to action for my fellow adults: comment or reply or tag what you like about being an adult. What you love about your life.
Let's give some kids some reasons for hope.
