Well it depends on where you are in your relationship. Unlike Makima, Makime is more openly seductive and is not afraid to use his charm, he is very self-centered about it.

Since I'm based on my fanfic, Makime is your boss in the fourth section of public security and you usually see him but try to stay out of it while hanging out with the boys.

Since you asked for headcanons, I'll go two ways, first I'll do the SFW and then the NSFW because I want to dedicate more time to that one since I suck writing intimate acts.

Tokens of appreciation:

Makime would show her appreciation in a peculiar and somewhat twisted way at worst. He could offer eloquent compliments and sweet flattery, but always with a hidden agenda. His words may be framed in lies and manipulations, it is likely that he seeks to obtain something in return, for example... Your entire disposition and love for him.

If you are at the beginning of the relationship, he would seek to attract you with simple gifts that you would not expect from him, for example: Roses, money or bonuses from your salary. Well, he knows you don't trust him.

If you are already more confident, he could show his appreciation through such simple acts as leaving you with less workload or pairing you up with him so you don't endanger yourself on more important missions [Which is more of an excuse to keep an eye on you and silently study you in case that he still did not declare his love openly]. He would be constantly watching over you, making sure you were safe and removing any perceived threats [Whether he was actually dangerous to you or just out of jealousy].

Makime might offer quirky and unique gifts that reflect her knowledge of your likes and interests. However, these gifts could be more manipulative than genuine intent. Sometimes just looking for a reaction from you, whether positive or not, he just wants you to pay attention.

You are really confused by their actions, sometimes you feel compelled to accept their gifts, good or bad.

Romance type:

The romance with Makime would be an emotional roller coaster. Spending time with him could be exciting and exciting, but also dangerous and exhausting. His cunning and manipulative personality would create an intense dynamic, full of mind games at the worst. Well, since I'm basing myself on the events of my Fanfic: A peach between apples, you constantly doubt the intentions of the red-haired demon since you know its nature from its original version, Makima.

Makime would seek to maintain absolute control in the relationship, although he would secretly like to have sweet moments without forcing you to participate in them, but it will only happen when he is sure that you will not let him. He can be possessive and jealous, showing his darker side if he feels you are slipping out of his control or if you have been a brat to him.

The romance with Makime, as I said, is quite nuanced and since he doesn't know the feeling of human-style love, he grew up in isolation [I guess?] He could make you feel uncomfortable without meaning to but he's still a son of a bitch, so he doesn't care about your reactions a lot, he just wants to see you nervous and/or any other emotion, you're interesting.

He would always be hiding parts of himself and revealing little clues as the relationship progresses or that he already has the certainty that you will not betray him, that you will be his completely. These secrets and gradual revelations could lead to a complicated and ambiguous emotional connection since you don't fully understand their actions.

At times Makime can be cold and insensitive to your feelings, but when he's jealous or vulnerable, he drops his cunning and prideful facade, to be twistedly soft on you. Their gifts in these cases would be more intimate, giving you things that they know you like. In his strange and sadistic way, he gives you someone's heart or kills in front of you, which leaves you quite traumatized because it is not pretty to see someone literally explode or see how their insides turn inside out (that is, the skin and organs come out of the inside ). These cases only occur when he is in a bad mood or wants to punish you.

Types of names and nicknames that Makime uses with you:

Makime's nicknames towards you influence his impressions, at the beginning of meeting you she would call you little employee or lamb, because in his eyes you look like a nervous lamb in front of its predator.

As they are already closer or in a relationship that is not [clearly if] forced, he would call you: Little doll, little rabbit or puppy.

In cases where he is in a bad mood, he usually uses demeaning names like: Pet, my prize, Dumb human or needy bitch [but these last names are more in the NSFW context].

Particularly when he is feeling most intimate and vulnerable, he often calls you my treasure, love (if not very creative) angel or princess.

You walked the streets of Tokyo, checking your makeup and everything. Makime had summoned you for something, with the control demon you never knew what he would do next or even his intentions towards you. You saw makime sitting down having a coffee, you approached him by sitting on it and adjusting the wrinkles in your clothes.

"Makime-san.... Did you need me for something? Normally I don't expect you to invite me to these types of places without it being for celebration or work reasons, your invitation and interest in me really surprises me" You said something nervous but trying to hide your discomfort or worst case scenario, those many doubts that run in your mind about this situation.

Makime looked at his glass of espresso as if it were interesting, only making you more uncomfortable at his non-response. Then he smiled widely and looked at you, what you didn't know is that this was just an excuse to spend time with you. He could practically see you anywhere and yet he preferred moments like these even if they weren't (if they are) forced. But he just wants alone time without those jerks following you around like roaches attached to food.

The redhead comes out of his thoughts about Aki, Powa and Denji turning to you again looking at you with an amused and calm smile while those piercing golden eyes follow your movements from head to toe, scrutinizing you.

"Sure... *Sigh*, you're kind of right, I invited you for a coffee, there's no problem with that... so just relax and don't try to see the devil's horn in everything, okay?" Here a sip of his coffee, while he smiles, that fucking smile that just gets on your nerves, you notice that he gives you an aura of great power when he sits near you, you start to wonder if there is something else he wants.

You don't want to be by his side, you hate even looking at him because you feel constantly violated and exposed, you hate the feeling and the bastard knows it, he enjoys getting nervous like you can't imagine.

"Makime-san, if you only called me for this I see no point in staying..." You were getting hysterical, you wanted to hit him even if it meant getting killed in the process, you still got up bowing and starting to leave. Yeah If you stayed longer, you wouldn't know whether to hit them out of irritation or the simple fact of wasting your time. Damn, you never understood their actions and that frustrates you, it's like a game of egos between tug and pull.

It wasn't until hands bigger than your arm grabbed you tightly, giving you a sharp twist, making you collide with the redhead's chest. Your face pressed against his chest, feeling the beating of his heart, although thinking about it more thoroughly you didn't know if it was just the sound he imitated to avoid raising suspicions. The breath on the helix¹ of your ear as you inevitably turned red. Instinctively you wanted to push him but he held you tighter in his arms as he whispered your name loving that blush coming from you.

You see him with a calm look, not knowing that you are telling him what he wants to hear: Those beats in your chest indicating that he was the cause of these... No one else and that puts him in a better mood.

With calm eyes, he looks at your lips and back into your eyes, he comes a little closer to you, caresses your cheek tenderly and looks at you with a more intense look. This only makes the knot in your stomach that has been building up for these few minutes increase and become more tangled like the spaghetti you ate yesterday for dinner.

"I just want to see you by my side. Isn't that enough for you?" He says with a sweet and seductive voice, he smiles a little at you, but his golden eyes look at you intensely with mixed emotions. You know that everything has an intention behind it and you don't want to give in to his whims.... But God!!, how you wanted to keep looking and admit that despite being a son of a bitch and a cunning manipulator, he's damn attractive.

You continued to stare at Makime, trying to figure out his true intentions. You felt a mixture of tension and longing inside of you, fighting against your own contradictory feelings. His closeness and his caresses disturbed you, but at the same time they attracted you in a way that you could not help.

"I don't know if that's enough for me," you replied with a shaky voice, trying to keep your guard up. "There are still many things I don't understand about you, Makime-san. I can't just get carried away by your sweet words and gestures. I don't trust you completely and we barely speak to each other."

He looks at you with a 'kind' smile on his lips and sees that his eyes become duller than usual, you avoid looking at them any longer with an insecure look, he knows you're nervous but you don't let him see everything.

"Trust takes time, you will give it to me sooner or later, you will have no other choice"

His gaze only pierces yours and his eyes remain that hypnotic golden color with those rings in them, hypnotizing you and he begins to caress your thigh with his hand.

Then as if something bewitched both of them, their lips slowly approached and he kisses your lips, nibbles your tongue and lips. Loving every inch of your mouth, your mind at this point is blurry and so you let yourself go.

OHHHH this is such a good question okay okay okay. let's see.

what do i look for? primarily, kon having an actual character voice. that's the lowest bar to clear (and yet already takes out... a good chunk of the fics ive seen in the kon character tag 😭😭). he needs to be silly, geeky, deeply kind, earnest, etc. not every fic featuring him will necessarily get into the way he's also existentially lonely and has a Lot of sadness and self-esteem issues (esp after rex leech's roller coaster incident. this has been on my mind today. ough. his self-image never recovered after that one!) but by GOD does he have his issues, so if its a fic going into emotions i want it to do right by his. will def admit thats smth im incredibly picky about.

as for stuff i want him doing? honestly i am here for so much!! i want soft simple character studies. i want action showcasing how fucking powerful ttk can be, especially with a dose of creativity to its use. i want wacky yj space adventures. i want good good whump and hurt/comfort. i want him getting swept off his feet. you could sell me on almost any plot if it's well-written.

re: characteristics... i don't really split them up quite like that, i think! he's a well-rounded character, and that includes both strengths and flaws. ideally, a good fic will include both of these and represent them fairly (like, he's not perfect by any means, and he can do stupid things and struggle with personal issues, but on the other hand very few things tick me off more than portrayals where he's just completely incompetent and dumb as a rock, lmao).

BUT REGARDING MY OWN WRITING. ohhohoohoohooho three things i ALWAYS have to include? a) geek-ass loser (affectionate). i think it is SO endearing and also very humanizing as a quality that he's a trekkie/wendy fan/star wars nerd/etc. b) mixed-race metaphors. they may not be overt depending on the piece but the "child of two worlds that doesn't quite fit into either" thing is Deeply intentional. and c) HES A JUGGERNAUT!!!! i firmly believe adult fully realized kon (a kryptonian, with full kryptonian powers, WITH TTK) is a force of fucking nature. i like this so much and i specifically also always like it when he is at any given moment about 0.4 seconds from freaking the fuck out about how it's Too much strength.

to me, kon is a character made of some very delicious contradictions. he's so painfully human and yet grapples hard with his own personhood and humanity. he's a kryptonian and an alien but he's a child of earth. he's terrified of his own power. he wants nothing more than to protect everyone he loves (and everyone he doesn't love, too). he's always ready to crack a joke or make a silly reference, but he is deeply sad and spent so much of his early life suicidal. he contains multitudes. (and this isn't even getting into my hcs on his gender/sexuality crisis! ksjdhf)

i feel like a gripe i often find myself having when looking for kon fics is that he often gets slotted into the role of "emotional support boyfriend with no personality or role of his own" though, which i guess is why "does he have a distinct character voice?" is my first litmus test for whether i'd want to keep reading or not.

a good kon fic will embrace all his contradictions, i think. (a good fic for any character, really, should show them as well-rounded and three-dimensional.) and i for one love his Problems and Issues, bc man, it's a very fun space to play in! <3

thinking about my dad and how so many of the things i love are because of him.

he loved the x files and xena and charmed and horror movies and wolves and camping and hiking.

he used to tell me when i was a baby, he thought i should know how to climb out of my crib already, so he taught me (and then i would sneak out of bed to watch the x files from behind the couch). and how i used to pull the kitchen cabinet doors off, watch him put them back on and pull them off again. or how he simply could not put my socks on because i would scream & cry that he did it wrong, so he had to let me do it myself. or when he was watching some nature documentary show and they showed wolves, i kept looking from our dog abby (abby normal) to the screen in awe.

i think about him saying he doesn't like animals but he absolutely did and they loved him too. a cow licked his face!! jersey was most content with him (and now with my mom). he stayed up all night with a dog that wasn't even ours & belonged to a girl he couldn't stand. and the times we found dogs (a beautiful white dog outside our house, a malamute when we were camping) and he just hung out with them until we found the owners. (how i still tend to find dogs and have to find where they belong)

i remember him going on every ride with me & my sister. especially the roller coasters even though he didn't like them. or going with me in the ocean in his jean shorts because he didn't have an actual suit (as in refused to get one lmao) and we would swim out really far and get yelled at by my mom & the lifeguards. or when he would take me to work at the bookstore when i was really little (and now i work in a bookstore)

i think about all the things i didn't know about him. like my parents actual song was everything i own by bread (and not who's sorry now which they danced to at their wedding, they were insane) or how he had a girlfriend before my mom who had a daughter and one day the woman just left with her & he never saw them again. he was devastated)

i didn't realize what i was doing, but i made renata watch xena over the pandemic, and then x files almost a year ago. i haven't stopped watching it since.

seeing the color green everywhere in spring & summer invigorates me now. he gave me that color and usually it brings a feeling of peace, but sometimes it just breaks my heart because he isn't here anymore.

it's been five years now and it's still really hard. but somehow it's getting easier to remember him even though i don't feel i can remember enough.

I think Louis is more often in a position where he needs to ask for help though because his mental health is still a bit of a roller coaster and he knows Armand genuinely loves caring for others, so he's probably gone to Armand a few more times than Armand has come to him but I think the beauty of their relationship is that neither one of them ever really has to ask in the first place, like they just know when the other needs a little extra TLC.

Who is the one always losing the keys? Oh my god they are both so AWFUL about losing their keys!! We know from canon that Armand literally loses full apartments but let me tell you that Louis de Pointe du Lac is just as guilty because he is a fucking slob!! He's such a mess!!! He comes home and throws his keys on top of a random pile of clothes and leaves a trail of belongings throughout the house as he makes his way to the bedroom. They've locked themselves out of Trinity Gate so many times and Louis always insists on calling Benji because he is sick and tired of getting suspicious looks from the door repair men every other week :/

Who leaves little love notes for the other? LOUIS!!!!!!! Louis Louis Louis is so thoughtful and eloquent and it's definitely his preferred method of affection. Half the time it's not even particularly romantic or purple prose-y, it's literally just Little Things he notices or random thoughts he has. It was a good idea at first. Go to an amusement park, eat loads of cotton candy, -fun, right? But things came to a head when you tried to get on the wooden rollercoaster. It was the oldest coaster in the park, and as such it was designed a little differently.

"Step up folks, arms up and we'll pull the lap bar down," the worker shouted over the crowd.

You and Eddie carefully stepped into the rickety old cart and tried to pull the lap bar down. It stopped at your soft tummy, leaving Eddie to have too much room between him and the safety bar.

The worker came over and tried to pull it down further, causing a dull pain at the push.

"Miss, you can't ride this coaster with him if the bar doesn't come down to his lap".

Your face burned in embarrassment. You were all too aware of the size difference between you and Eddie, your old high school bullies reminded you everyday. But now you usually felt comfortable, confident in your skin. Eddie worshiped the ground you walked on and constantly told you how beautiful you were. But maybe it was the worker's tone, or perhaps your pants were a little too tight for your liking because that comment made your head spin.

"My apologies, I'll get off the ride".

"Baby no," Eddie said. "Dude, what the fuck? It's not that big of a deal, we'll be fine".

The next card is super positive, too! The Nine of Pentacles, like I mentioned before, is a card that's all about financial security and fulfillment. It's a sign that all of your efforts will be rewarded. This isn't simply a lucky break; this is the culmination of hard work and good choices, and it's a just reward.

Like I said! Great reward!

But.... here comes the great risk. The Ten of Swords is bad. It's bad bad. Some people get scared when they see Death or Judgement or The Devil. But those are all a little misunderstood. They can be very positive in the right situation.

But the Ten of Swords is a picture of a person stabbed in the back and bleeding out on the ground, and it is just never a good thing.

The Ten of Swords is a card of betrayal, catastrophe, and defeat. More than that, it's a card of finality. Most negative cards in the deck have a sense of a cycle of death and rebirth, good and bad. Like a bad thing must happen to make way for something good. This one, though... It's much more final. This is a bad end. A broken man.

It's uh. It's not good to see as the last card in a reading.

That said, there is no card in this deck that is totally devoid of hope. Even a corpse can become fertilizer for something beautiful.

I'm choosing to interpret this spread as a warning. It can be very attractive to ride into something new half-cocked, but I think this spread is a word of caution. It is, again, showing off that great risk/great reward dichotomy. Both are options that could happen. But... I think the warning here is that the bad end is much more likely than you might like to think. It's not a guarantee -- nothing in this life is -- but it is a warning.

Be careful. A new journey is always exciting, but don't rush into things. Read your maps carefully, and for fuck's sake, wear your seatbelt.

okay so now that i'm home i can think of proper recommendations

we didn't get to as many places as i might've liked to see bc it was so goddamn hot that walking around might've been legitimately dangerous, but ... one thing i would Definitely recommend is the museum of fine arts !! it's this HUGE gallery, and we were lucky cos the first sunday of every month is free to visit. we were there for three hours and we prob could've stayed even longer - there was SO much to see in there oml

we also ate at umami ramen and aux vivres, which are two vegan places that were absolutely delicious (the ramen place actually had some sort of vegan 'egg yolk' and i Really wanna know how they made it cos it was super tasty and egg substitutes tend to be terrible lmao). also had breakfast at le vieux st-laurent which was very Not vegan but oh well it was delicious and their coffee was 👌

otherwise, montreal is just ... SO gorgeous. much prettier than toronto in every way sorry toronto but montreal has that classic old city vibe with so many trees and plants and cool townhouses ... and the scariest bridges of all time but this may only be a problem if you have a fear of heights like me LOL

oh man i also drove past la ronde WHICH I FORGOT EXISTED but it was too goddamn hot to go to a theme park but it's a six flags park and it has a bunch of cool roller coasters and i need to go back someday when it's not 10000000000 degrees outside

everyone was super nice and driving in the city wasn't anywhere as bad as i feared and it's pretty decently bilingual so even my rusty french wasn't too much of an issue ahaha OH and our concert was in this old theatre from 1912 and it was soooooooo cool in there altho i was very distracted by the handsome cowboy i was watching tbf

My absolute fave is komahina. Kinda basic I know. But I ship it in a very specific way, less in an “I want them to be in a loving romantic relationship” way and moreso “I enjoy these two’s interactions and I wanna see what kind of shitshow would go down if one or both of them had feelings for the other.” I do enjoy some angst so I kinda see it as more of a one-sided crush on Komaeda’s end, with Hinata torn between reciprocating it and running far far away from him. I can’t really imagine them being cute and fluffy, they would just be really fucking weird about it. Their relationship is already such a roller coaster in the game, but I think throwing conflicted romantic feelings into the mix would really spice it up. Komaeda self flagellates for falling in love with an untalented normie reserve course student while Hinata has to come to terms with the fact that he may or may not be attracted to an absolute lunatic.

I also enjoy komakura because it’s sexy because they’re interesting ideological foils. Kamukura intrigues me because he’s a bit of a paradox: the Kamukura project molded him into a near-perfect being to bring hope to humanity, and yet he doesn’t feel hope himself because perfection stripped him of his humanity. It’s precisely because of the lofty expectations foisted on him that he ends up turning to despair. And even in the deepest depths of despair I think Komaeda would still be drawn to hope, and he’d be fascinated by Kamukura’s duality. I imagine Komaeda would be obsessively devoted to him during the despair era, while Kamukura just kind of tolerates him since his chaotic nature occasionally eases his boredom. It definitely wouldn’t be a healthy relationship since Komaeda puts Kamukura on such a massive pedestal and Kamukura is so apathetic towards him, but as you can probably tell by now I don’t ship characters based on whether they’d be a functional couple LMAO

I do have a few fluffy ships though. Aoi and Sakura are super cute together and I really enjoyed the relationship they had in the game. I love that Sakura was protective of Aoi and I love that Aoi defended her and believed in her until the very end. Chapter 4 definitely made me tear up a little bit :’) I’m a sucker for the small gf/big buff gf dynamic. I also think Sonia and Gundham are really sweet. Gundham’s eccentricities mesh perfectly with Sonia’s, and their interactions in the game were super endearing.

I can’t really think of any v3 pairings I feel strongly about, but I do have a crack ship that I enjoy. Pls don’t hate me for this but… Kokichi/Miu 😔 Yes I know Kokichi’s probably gay and he’s really mean to her and Miu literally tried to kill him and Kokichi kinda sorta actually killed her shfhhfgj I just think it would be funny. They would make each other so much worse and they would absolutely make it everyone else’s problem.

Ooh, this is a good one! We're digging into baby's first fandom: Pokémon! If you like OG Mewtwo's story as much as I do (I know y'all are out there), then I cannot stop recommending Striking Back: Memoirs of a Clone by Ariadne_Dai on AO3! It is a BEHEMOTH of a fic, over 200k words, but it's a gorgeous retelling of that story with so many extra details. I genuinely cried reading it at points. It's just??? So damn beautiful??? If you're into that sort of thing, PLEASE give that author some love, they absolutely deserve it!!

And of course, I love p much any of the works my friends put out there, y'all are amazing!!! I haven't really read many fics lately, but this is just a cool reminder to dig in and find some more!

Oh, absolutely. I find inspiration in a lot of things! SoulsBorne definitely shaped how I tell my stories, since it was basically me re-entry into fandom spaces. Those games really encouraged me to build up the worlds I was playing around in and I've gotten better at worldbuilding as a result! But I'll find inspiration in books, movies, other games, you name it. For a recent example, there's a bit of Sempiternal that's DEF gonna be inspired by Dune, as I just finished reading the first book not that long ago. I won't say what, I'll just tell you it's not the sand worms lmao

4. Which tf character is your favorite in terms of personality?

Me just broadly gesturing at Ratchet because I adore him. I think this just encapsulates all versions except for Siege, honestly (I was more than a little bit frustrated with the Ratchet being the weapons inventor but then a medic instead of having Wheeljack be a weapons inventor like Wheeljack TYPICALLY IS?? and it just did not fit him I hated it).

But 99.9% of the time, Ratchet wins my entire heart and soul and I will carry him around with me until the end of time.

5. Is there a relationship (romantic or otherwise) between tf characters that you find interesting?

I really wish we hadn't just gotten the blow-off answer of (more or less) "it's not that deep" regarding Ratchet and Pharma because they FASCINATE me. Doomed or tragic romances are so good when they can be explored, and I'm fascinated with the things that drew those two together as much as I am the things that could've driven them apart.

After all, Ratchet wouldn't have thought of Pharma as one of the people he regrets not saying goodbye to if there hadn't been something there, some lingering feelings or regret.

6. Which tf character do you relate to the most?

As much as I love Ratchet, it's probably Tailgate. Just living my life in a roller coaster of false confidence and never knowing what the absolute hell is going off most of the time on any given day.

It really does feel like I missed the vast majority of my life some days, too, lmao.

This one's tough, but probably Brainstorm and Chromedome. Between me and @the-proofreader she's definitely the Brainstorm to my Chromedome there, and we're both disasters in our own right. There's a strange sense of balance there too.

god, Louis is the luckiest man alive (unalive?) lmfao you just KNOW he’s getting an insane amount of action any time lestat and armand are under the same roof asdfgahvf

I'm absolutely convinced the first time they were all under one roof together for more than a few days, Armand and Lestat were both immature enough to try and make each other jealous by sleeping with Louis (Armand definitely plays dirty by echoing Louis' Jumbled Orgasm Thoughts into Lestat's head— it backfires at least once because GUESS WHAT louis still thinks about lestat in bed with other people LMFAO) but eventually this pewters out when Louis catches on and tells them to just cut the bullshit and fuck each other (and they do. and Louis enjoys a quiet night reading, like he damn well deserves).

ANYWAY, the thing I love about Louis having both of them in his life is that they all read each other in such different ways, so I think it’s really great that no matter what mood he’s in, there’s someone who knows exactly what he needs. Louis has a tendency of thinking himself into a corner, and some nights he needs Armand to step in and take the wheel and mindfuck him into a state of bliss. Other nights he needs Lestat to do just the opposite and coax him into his body and remind him of what it feels like to be alive. 

They also both pick up on different things that Louis doesn't even know about himself like!!! Lestat is very well-versed and dependent on physical cues, so he picks up on the way Louis tilts his head ever so slightly to the side when he's curious about trying a New Idea, the way he rolls his ankles and flexes his heels when he wants to go harder, or the way he'll hide his face in Lestat's shoulder when he's about to come because he thinks his orgasm face is silly.

Armand, of course, has access to Louis' mind, but on the whole he's much more emotionally intelligent so he actually doesn't use much of the Mind Gift (he also is well aware of Louis' aversion to the gift). it's much easier for him to pick up on the roller coaster that is Louis "repressed-gay-ex-catholic" de Pointe du Lac, and Armand is so much more patient in terms of giving Louis the time and space to process things. Sometimes it takes a while for Louis to be able to stretch out of his comfort zone, but Armand is in it for the long game, baby.

They both also have very different tactics to getting in his pants LOL like it's actually fucking hilarious because if Lestat tries to flirt and cuddle up to Louis while he's reading, he'll get all huffy and annoyed, but when Armand comes waltzing in and casually rests a hand on his knee while he reads, Louis is putting that book down and going for the jugular in like 30 seconds flat LMAO.

Armand and Lestat also know that sometimes they’re not exactly what Louis needs in the moment, so sometimes (not every time, but sometimes) Lestat will suggest Louis visits Armand. And vice versa, every other week when Louis gets cranky, Armand locks him in a room with Lestat like “You two just need to bone.” 

cue: this exact reaction from Louis: 

When it comes to settling on an arrangement between the 3 of them actually sharing a bed together (as opposed to taking turns with Louis)...I think Armand might’ve been the one to first suggest it, but I honestly feel like Louis would’ve been the one to actually bring them both together and make it feel like it was their idea in the first place LOL. Lestat doesn’t like to share, and Armand doesn’t like feeling like the third wheel, but Louis has a way of asking for things without really outright asking for them. He so rarely makes requests of Lestat or Armand in the first place, so of course they oblige (it also gives Lestat a Very Convenient Excuse for coming to terms with the fact that he is, in fact, attracted to Armand).

I will say I think it's only on very special occasions that the 3 of them get together, but when they do, it's absolutely decadent. There are so many different dynamics between them that are just constantly in flux so it's really interesting!! Like...when Louis is with Lestat he tends to want to be more dominant, whereas he's more comfortable being submissive to Armand, but between Lestat and Armand it can be a bit of a tug-of-war in terms of who has the "power." So with the 3 of them it's just a constant changing of positions and dynamics. I've always seen it as something that leans a little bit more playful (well, as playful as sadistic/masochistic vampires can get). Like, there's an unspoken agreement to leave the baggage at the door when it's the 3 of them together.

There's a lot of pampering of Louis and he's shy and resistant at first (he HATES attention! he hates feeling like too much of a hedonist! why are you just STARING at me, Lestat, don't you have something better to do?) but listen Lestat and Armand are very persuasive ;)

(it's also not always Louis-centric!! Louis and Armand have made Lestat cry from overstimulation MULTIPLE times. Louis and Lestat team up to play good-cop/bad-cop and deliver punishment and reward with Armand.)

ANYWHO I think the whole thing is just very cathartic for all 3 of them!! Louis has two hands and he deserves the best of both worlds!!!
