Had a really awesome interaction with a classmate today where he was like “yeah I’ve started drawing transformers fanart because I really like the broad optimus with the crazy chin. He’s so chiselled. The fanart I’ve seen of him is awesome” This is coming from a guy who’s whole deal is that he loves buff men. We are in an illustration program. It is all he draws.

So I have to be forgiven that it took me a very. Long. Time. To figure out what optimus he was talking about.

I was like ? “Do you know where he’s from?”

Guy replies “he’s from a show. The one with the crazy jaw line”

And I’m like ok. Hmm. There’s no way he’s talking about tfa optimus. There’s no way he saw tfa optimus fanart and decided this was going to be his next buff muse.

So I ask if it’s 2D or 3D animated. 2D animated. From ~2008. That’s transformers animated. It can’t be anything else. I lost my mind.

I then proceeded to show my classmate all the tfa optimus fanart on here and he was so fucking confused. I explained the whole megop height difference uwufication to him and he was like “how dare they I know so many guys who are short and caked up. How dare they take away his broad shoulders. Why’d they give him hips like that?”

Thinking myself in circles about my ‘New’ Sleep Token Theory, so I might as well make a king as HECK post about it right?? It’s been a while since I’ve made one of these but I really feel like I cracked it this time lmao:

Sleep, Vessel and Vessel behind the mask (who if mentioned again, I will lovingly refer to as [REDACTED]) are one in the same (yes yes obviously Vessel and [REDACTED] are the same already). I have many reasons for thinking this, but I don’t know what y’all will call too much speculation so I’ll keep it to myself.

There is no Lore. There are themes placed on things that Vessel has decided to express through music. (He’s working through some shit). As he has said, ‘all I’ve ever given is a peek into my mind’ (paraphrasing rn cause I’ll start crying if I don’t). There is no real ‘story’, it’s just what Vessel has decided to make music about, themed in religions and religious metaphors.

Which comes to my number one reason for saying the first bit: if Vessel is expressing himself through music, how is it tokens for sleep? Sleep is Vessel. They are ‘tokens’ for Vessel. These are tokens of things Vessel has needed to work through, make music about, to feel things about in a ‘safe’ way. It sounds much more like a token to Vessel then to Sleep.

(If you've played Fuga 2 they do touch upon the children's trauma in some of the link events and a lot of the NPCs struggle to live in post war Gasco.) The unchanging sky shows how despite everything the earth is still there. That there is no choice but to continue living. It's kinda pathetic how I just googled "how to call in sick" cause I have never done this in my entire life. What do I say? How hard will the doctor judge me? Will she agree that I'm sick enough? Do I just go "okay" and go back home to my desk and work if she thinks I'm fine? And even if she agrees I'm sick enough, is there any paperwork? Do I have to make any additional phone calls? Won't it be easier to just work instead of trying to figure this out?

#by now I think I know how things work and I have some coworkers I can ask who won't laugh at me #my main issue is that it'd feel like lying #I mean sure I cry at work every day or feel paralyzed and I have some physical stuff going on that may be the result of stress #but I'm also alive and breathing and my job is just being on the computer and reading and typing #you can pretty much always do that unless you're in a coma #and a doctor is mainly focused on physical health. maybe they have the same opinion on mental health as the external dude? #like 'we all have problems. deal with them yourself and don't bring them into work cause that affects the entire team' #I guess you could call 'pull yourself together' my life motto cause I've heard that from so many people for my entire life #and as they say: if you have the same problem everywhere then you might be the problem #I guess I just have to try harder instead of whining and running away #I always sucked at running anyway #and I have an entire weekend to beat myself back into shape for the next week #haha actually I have a sword seminar and tournament on Sunday so others will do the beating up #unfortunately it's unlikely that I'll suffer any serious injuries that'll put me in hospital #but maybe breaking a few fingers would be enough for a short break? #cause with my lack of proper gloves that's not impossible #but then again I once broke my hand and it didn't count as being sick and I just kept attending my college lessons #maybe if they break all my fingers so I can't type. but that's unlikely and takes at least two hits I think

Okay, confession time... I've watched Red, White and Royal Blue three times already and I might have spent last Sunday frantically reading the book.
