They chatted for a bit, Robin treating Danny like a scared cat that could bolt at any second, which Phantom thought was ironic in many ways. Anyway Phantom realized that he had sustained so much damage that he would have to retreat into his core for an unknown amount of time and after telling Robin this he asked the bird to find a safe place to hide him and that no one could know about this.

Robin agreed and Phantom shrank down to his core, going into a deep sleep. What the ghost didn't know is that Robin just took him home and kept the core on his person at all times. After all, what place is safer than Robins person?

Nightwing began joking about Robin trying to hatch an egg. Batman was just happy his son was playing pretend like a normal child, plus the rock was very beautiful and ethereal looking. Maybe he'd have it made into a bracelet for his son once he grew bored of it.

No one knew just how accurate Nightwings jokes were.
