I don't know who needs to hear this, but as a painting student I suggest:

Dish soap and boiling water is WAY better than terpentine or paint solvent to fix dried out brushes.

Put the brushes in a cup.

Pour a dish soap.

Pour a boiling water to the level it doesn't reach the wooden part.

Leave them to soak and soften

Try to separate the hair on two parts, then on smaller and smaller parts.

At the end, carefully try to scratch off the paint and "break" the hair by carefully pushing it over a surface and moving (like over your palm). If you can't, repeat the previous steps.

Works even with dried out oil paints. Stronger fluid doesn't mean better.

Tho in harder cases you'd have to repeat the steps a few times to restore the brush fully.

So if you can't afford new brushes, don't throw the old away. Even if they seem helpless, there is a hope for them to be like new.

Ok so this wrong

Fake fan witch hunt is bullshit specially in a franchise like gundam. A franchise that has been making anime,movies,videogames,manga and toys constantly since 1979,its impossible to catch up to everything in this day and age.

Also,gwitch is an AU which means is newcomer friendly and you don't need prior knowledge of the history of the franchise to apreciatte it.

I know this is a small tumblr blog but this blog is against gatekeeping and everyone is welcome to check gwitch,any other entry of the franchise and ask questions about the franchise.

Personally,i've only watched classic UC stuff,G Gundam,the build series and in the middle of turn a right now and each of those shows are a long time investment since they are around 50 episodes long.

My hot take:

You don’t have to like all of the Star Wars movies to be a “real” SW fan. You’re not a hypocrite to call yourself a fan if you dislike one or more of the movies - even the popular movies. Even if you prefer the unpopular movies over the popular movies. Or if you don’t like any of the movies but you like the books or the video games or the shows. Or if you only like one part of SW canon or if you prefer fanon over canon.

If anyone tries to tell you that there’s only one right way to be a “true” fan, then they’re the wrong one, not you.

Started to say this somewhere else and decided to make a proper post. MAJOR trigger warning for sensitive folks, do NOT complain to me if you read this and get triggered, you won't get sympathy:

If all you do is sit, gatekeeping on tumblr or discord in your little echo chamber of people who would rather never heal (which does not mean merging btw), complain to eachother about all of their mental issues, and tell other people they aren't valid because their daddy didn't beat them as much as yours beat you then get the fuck off of social media and make some real goddamn friends and give a shit for once about someone other than yourself. Look up out of your hole and make steps to improve instead of trying to be some arbiter of who else is valid, you goddamn goblin.

Or stay and be sad and broken forever, maybe you'll at least be a good example of what happens when you are too obsessed with your dissorder to do anything productive, or give someone like me a good laugh whenever I check to see how this community is doing. Just cut the goddamn gatekeeping. It's real gremlin behavior.

This applies to trauma and endo systems, with or without a disorder. Stop gatekeeping.
