Why is it that I just knew the second I saw the trailer for Wonka (2023) I would be simping for Timothée Chalamet? I've never once obsessed over him in any of his movies beyond a passing acknowledgement of his attractiveness. But the second I see his slightly crazed, optimistic, singing self I'm gone.

I love my pop girlies as much as the next person but the fact that RRR beat them ALL and won best original song is such a galactic serve I’m living for it.
I know I’m late to talking about the Golden Globes, but I thought about something: how come it’s a problem seeing and hearing Mariah Carey November through December, but it’s okay seeing Taylor Swift every day on the Internet?
I’m scared I might know the answer to that question.
All these girls coming out of their holes to comment on a sexist joke about a white plastic doll movie character at the golden globes. But when real women are starving, violated and even murdered continuously in Congo and Sudan, Yemen and Palestine,,,their outrage is suddenly nowhere to be found.
No offense to the girlies but ngl it's a little discouraging to see.
It's like...some women are tired/angry/frustrated on behalf of a fictional character more than they are for the suffering of real women. It literally took a guy coming for barbie for them to "speak up" for the sake of womanhood.
And just bc some of their fave celebs didnt feed into the joke, which is the bare min, they're of course regarded as heroes. Well Taylor and Selena havent said one word against the genocide in Gaza as we speak.
