Something really upsetting about being adhd is that you will be really struggling, executive functioning is not functioning, and you'll reach out for help only to receive none. I have reached out to multiple people on multiple different occasions, saying I'm drowning here, and I need help. Sometimes, I don't even need a lot of help sometimes. I just need a person to be there, and I can do most of the work. Every time I ask, though, I get the same response, I reach out "Hey I'm drowning.", "I need some help.", "I'm at the point of crying. I need help so bad. " No matter how I ask, I'm always told the same thing. No, they won't help me.

When my illnesses finally win, tell people I did try to reach out for help but no one would help me. I tried. I never stayed silent but nobody would help me.

Was trying to make
A letter of support for my child
To let them know
That they never will need to know
Shame and despair
As what their ugly parent was
But then I had
To wash the dishes and clothes
Someone left behind

Why can I never be happy....

Do you remember when search engines used to be good and actually work? Now they're just middlemen between you and wikipedia or amazon/goodreads or quora or pinterest.
I'm looking for a list of novels with the words guide or handbook in the title, and not a single search engine seems capable of finding any such lists on the entire internet. Not google, not bing, not duckduckgo, nothing. Are you telling me I'm the first human being in recorded history to ever wonder about books with either of those words in the title? I didn't expect to find a list with both, but I can't even find any lists with either word by themselves! If I google "list of books with the word guide in the title," I instead get a goodreads list of books with the word book in the title, which is not the same thing! Even if I put quotation marks around the word guide, nothing shows up anywhere! All I get are actual guidebooks, not the novels I'm looking for. If it's not a guidebook, it's a how to list, instructional guides on unrelated topics because sesrch engines exclusively focus on the most popular keywords you type in rather than your query as a whole.
Is this too much to ask? Is this a ridiculous search? Is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy the one book ever written with that word in it? You'd think someone somewhere in the last 30 years would have compiled a list or a searchable database or something, but apparently this is a pipedream...

You know what’s really, really hard?
Having chronic health conditions along with your parents also having them..
along with only one parent working.. along with my (black) dad always getting fucked on his pay… along with living check to check
Along with him, not allowed to work overtime anymore..along with them, both, breaking down body wise, along with having to try to take care of myself..along with always being poor … along with my broken down bodied mom taking care of her sick narcissis ungreatful parents along with me… not her taking care of herself bc we just can’t…
along with hardly having food.. fucked up car problems … constant gas issues with appointments… constantly canceling appointments because your car is broken down and you can’t afford new tires. ..toilet paper..? constant stress on our bodies. stress kills people. And all of our hearts have been having lots of pains…
Along with seeing my parents get more and more tired and stressed and fucked over by people… even our BILLS trying to take and take more money that we don’t have… sometimes he has to skip out on going to work bc of no gas that’s fucking SAD. PATHETIC
Along with having a partner who is all the way across the world and it’s not like you could have any stress relief, with them because they’re going through stuff too and work alot and they live too far away to even comfort you
Along with always having to lose your teeth only at 22 years old, because you can’t afford to get root canals or to get them fixed
They say money, can’t buy you happiness, but… it can make you more comfortable less stressed and mentally ill if you could afford the things that helped you, but you just can’t… ever ever
Miracles never happen for us. We’re just the unlucky side of the family. Nobody helps us out. Meh used to bad luck

Find part 1 here. "Does that hurt?" Stabilization
The man struggles to run with his broken arm. He decides to walk, aware of the risk of being recaptured. He can't think of who'd want to kidnap him — or hire others to do so —and possibly kill him. Nor does he know where he is, so finding his way out of the woods will be challenging. They continue down the path, struggling with the pain.
A couple walking down the same path spot the man clearly in pain. The man isn't sure if he should run or not. "Sir, are you ok?" The woman asks. "I think my arm is broken," he told them, hoping not to have to tell them what happened. The couple tells the man they'll help him get to the hospital. "..but we do need to stabilize the arm,* the man tells the injures man, "the best we can do is a sling, but that'll help with pain…after we're done." The injured man knows this will be painful even if the other man isn't going to try to find the break and put the bones back in place first. He tries to distract himself from the pain.
"Does that hurt?" The man asks. "A little, but better than before," the injured man replies. The three begin the walk to the couple's car. The couple still doesn't ask how the man was injured in the woods. He knows he made it clear he wasn't on a hike and ended up injured.
"…we can set the bone and put your arm in a cast," the doctor explains and gives the man local pain relief. After the bone is set, the doctor tries to get answers, not believing the story. They're more concerned the man is in danger, and police need to be involved. The doctor does have the right to call the police anyway, but the doctor would rather have cooperation first. They give up and hope their patient will be safe.
The couple takes the man back to his home, worried that he doesn't want to call the police. They know they can't call the police and be taken seriously. The man believes he's not in danger but will now carry his gun.

I love it when my family keeps pushing for me to do something over and over even when I rebuke them and tell them I'm not going to do that thing.
Then when I finally decide I'm going to do that thing and I ask them for help in doing it they just say "I can't help you" "I'm not going to make decisions for you" etc.
Bitch....
You heavily pressured me to consider this. Now I'm considering it and asking for help in being more informed and making sure I don't make a mistake and you're telling me you are butting out of the conversation now?
This is bullshit
