Munin WIP Finished -- Thanks to Everyone.

My Munin WIP was finished tonight partly because my earlier post got enough notes that I thought I'd better pull through to the finish line -- so you can check that out on my blog.

This is sort of an appreciation post. Thanks in general for the reblogs and general enthusiasm for ravens and my art. I never shared my art or stuff like that online until Tumblr. I thought people weren't really interested. Thanks for making me a little... actually a lot... more confident about being me.

(I hope it's OK to tag all you guys. I haven't really seen a post like this before, so maybe I'm being weird. Just wanted to say thanks!)

listen I UNDERSTAND the fantasy of infantilization, I do, I get the CisHetero Gender Affirmation of having your physical smallness associated with femininity and thus emphasized and eroticized, i am a size difference kink haver, but romance/ fanfic girlies, i implore us. Male love interests nicknaming the heroine “little [noun]” is way too prevalent. we gotta mix it up. no way all of these heroines are all that small! I don’t even necessarily mean in a body type inclusivity way, just that surely some of these ladies are taller than five foot five and thus not particularly ‘little’ by any objective measure. let’s think critically about what patriarchal standards we’re reinforcing in our authorial decisions about what is cute and desirable. let’s get more creative and interesting with it.

cleaned out the binder i used for my partial hospitalization stay (living in a specific lower-security block of a mental hospital and going to group therapies all day), this was a sheet from the dreaded nutrition class which was mostly just telling everyone they should limit calories.
