really really really love the small detail in the chalice of the gods where percy mentions annabeth doesn't bake blue food bc she sees it as something “sacred” between percy & sally. in the last olympian, she baked him a blue cake as a birthday present, she knew his favourite colour is blue, which tells she pays attention to his details and his likes. yet exactly a year later, she stopped, which is a implication that her and percy's relationship has progressed, they, now, understand each other much better with more vulnerability for percy to open up about the history of the blue food to her and annabeth to immediately understood that this is something which should stay between percy and sally. it's a sign their relationship and understanding of each other as a couple is slowly maturing with time and experience. oh my god, my heart, they're so sweet,,,

I don't know (i just want so bad to link together characters that I love plz) but I find Rin, Mudeok and Mao Mao to have some similarities.

Most importantly, all three of them are really completly unhinged (in different extent I concede) which can't be ignored !!! 😌

Mudeok has lost her power (and thus her identity as Naksu) and Rin almost regularly lost her fire, the two things through which they principally identify and find worth in. Revenge is also a huge part of their characters (with different outcomes that's sure 😵‍💫).

Mao Mao and Mudeok are forced into becoming servants but have knowledge that allowed them to kinda step out of their condition (if what I'm saying makes any sense), earn respect and to have people with higher social statuts solicite their opinions.

And between Rin who burn herself to stay awake during her studies and Mao Mao who test poison on her own forearm to acquire a better understanding of the way they work and can be heal, the two of them are not afraid to hurt themselves in order to pursue what they want to attain.

This whole post is probably a reach but who cares ??

At the end of the day my love for them is limitless and isn't it the greatest similarity of them all 😮‍💨
