Eddie and Jeff are doing a podcast interview over zoom during COVID lockdown when Steve passes by in the background of Eddie’s screen. You can’t see his face, just a faded Metallica t-shirt and a hand briefly resting on Eddie’s shoulder as he goes.

There’s some laughing from the people on the podcast about Eddie’s answer being interrupted and one of the podcasters say: For those just listening at home, it looks like Eddie is not spending this lockdown alone.

overprotective Ace but he never gets a chance to give Zoro a shovel talk or try to keep Luffy and him as far away as possible because Zoro loves his little brother impossibly so and it'd be a dick move to threaten someone that looks at his little brother like he's the sun itself.

while he's with Luffy's crew, he quickly realizes why Zoro always seems to keep an eye on Luffy no matter what and doesn't even fight when he throws himself at him to either wrestle with him for the sake of it or fall asleep on him, and he wants to go to Zoro and tell him to fuck off, that Luffy's off limits bc he's too young, he's too good for him, whatever. but. he can't. because the way Zoro treats Luffy is the way he deserves to be treated, with love and respect, and saying Luffy's first mate adores him would be quite the insult because it's not only adoration but something more, he'll squint at Zoro and glare and scowl trying to find whatever flaw that'll give him a reason to put him in his place, but he can't find any, because Luffy will give him his strawhat (his most valuable treasure) with a smile on his face and Zoro will give him a small one in return, Zoro yells and fights and unleashes his katanas against Sanji but then he'll go to where Luffy is to let himself be handled however his captain wants in that moment, Luffy wouldn't know shyness even if it hit him in the face, yet he catches glimpses of him faintly blushing whenever his swordsman does certain things, and Ace- and Ace can just ask all of them (ask Zoro, specially) to keep him safe. his brother is a handful, he knows, but he can see why Luffy's chosen them (him, he doesn't say) and leaves knowing Luffy's on good hands

getting emotional thinking about the fact that ed has probably never had a boyfriend before and maybe he’s wanted to be called someone’s boyfriend in the past but he held back because he’s fucking blackbeard man, and he’s had it engrained in him for years that that shit is too soft.
