one fun headcanon i've kinda developed for cranboo is that the combination of his traits

1) gift giving as a love language

2) often believing he knows better than others

leads to him thinking that he can bribe his loved ones into doing what he wants them to. i think he just genuinely wouldn't think there was anything wrong with doing that. and it works on michael, cause ya know, he's a toddler and sometimes you have to bribe toddlers anyway cause they don't quite have the capacity for reasonable debate yet. but then he does it to tubbo or tommy and like- i think those two are also screwed up when it comes to healthy relationships that they'd be like, 'oh i have to perform a task or otherwise prove my love to receive affection? yeah, that tracks.'

like tubbo's love language is acts of service so i feel like he'd just kinda view it as normal to trade affection like currency, and tommy of course had the whole exile arc mess with his perception of normal affection so.
