another small gabranth wip under cut. because it seems that i can never finish personal art.
I can't stop drawing him... In any case, this is for my FFXII fan book. He's wounded and is being healed (by Cidolfus, the current best healer in the story). I love drawing Noah's sideburns.
Also, I think I made Cid a little too handsome with his Balthier coloured hair. (*μ_μ) But he's quite nicely developed as a character in the book.

Vierapril - 8 - relinquish
Try though he might, Oki could never let go of his bitterness and resentment that it was his timid little sister, not he, who was chosen to become Tungli's new Dominant; could never let go of his his desire for the power and importance to which he felt entitled. And because of this, he ultimately let go of every oath he had sworn and allegiance he once held, in exchange for power of another sort.

Basch and Noah, going to turn this into a print, bookmarks, and someone suggested a body pillow XD now sure someone would want one of those.

I really dislike drawing armor and details... which is ironic considering most FF characters are detail-rich OTL
So simplifying and removing parts is the way to go---
Gabranth's altarnative outfit is based on the artwork that had younger Basch and younger Noah
Vayne dressed as Larsa was just for fun though.

And because I'm not done (yeah this is one of my fave series of cutscenes WHAT OF IT), we also have Noah - charged by Vayne to test out Ashe's commitment to vengeance as he suspects, or to see if she will sue for peace, as Larsa claims.
He starts off needling her, provoking her into finally making her choice (as Larsa said she would), but all that is to the wind as soon as Basch steps forward. Noah can't help himself, he sees red - how dare his brother claim this, when he abandoned him and their mother, and their home, to run away? Noah accepts himself for what he is - a kingslayer indeed - but he cannot accept that Basch has moved past his shame, that he could have found a measure of peace after all he's done. Why should his brother have peace, when he does not?
