i’m rereading the raven cycle because i barely remember anything and i have a copy of call down the hawk and i want to, you know, understand what’s going on, and it’s such a weird thing because maggie stiefvater is from MY town and the setting of the books is this general area (though the exact town is fictional) so she’ll reference the counties around us and im like yeah i was there literally yesterday while running errands. it’s weird is this how people who live in like new york or london feel about having stuff set where they live?
