So you know who Forlong the Fat was? Well, a long time I drew Pancake the Flat, inspired by that, on a loyal steed. Pancake was my favorite bird. She used to flatten on the ground to be petted so she was really flat. She was really pretty and sweet. Unfortunately her name Pancake was a self-fulfilling prophesy. Once, she nested in the field though we didn’t have a tom (but we didn’t know she was doing this.) Well a corn chopper went through to harvest, and a week later she died from her injuries. But she was a valiant turkey.
