Hassel Headcanons:
Despite being referred to or described as "old" Hassel is in his mid to late 40s.
Hassel was shunned by his father for being too sensitive and interest in making a music career.
His hometown is all the way in Johto with him originating from Blackthorn City.
Hassel and his family come from a long line of dragon tamers and is distantly related to Clair.
Due to his soft nature, Hassel hates conflict and finds it emotionally draining.
While he loves all dragon types, Baxcalibur is his favorite and his ace.
Despite this, the first dragon type he caught was a Noibat.
Hassel plays classical or orchestra music while he teaches art.
He is a long time close friend with Brassius and first met him when he moved to Paldea.
His Flapple was given to him from Brassius when it was an Applin.
He is pansexual.
Hassel is one of the most beloved teachers at the Naranja/Uva Academy by students and staff alike, with his art class becoming full within a few days.
Students love Hassel not only for his kind hearted personality, but also he's an easy grader. Double win.
Despite being an easy grader, he worries his class may be too hard for some. He wants to make art accessible to all students
He is close with Larry and brings out the kinder side of the latter when they eat in Medali.
Hassel has only lost his temper a handful of times since he has been teaching, which is over 20 years. It takes an ungodly amount of bad behavior to make him upset.
True empath and can feel the emotions of others just by looking at them.
His voice is deep in tone, but soft in cadence.
Struggles to put up boundaries for himself. This may cause others to take advantage of him.
Has a very hard time saying no or standing his ground. His coworker
Rika or school faculty help stand up for him when he's being manipulated.
Super polite, even when dealing with a difficult student.
Hassel also has a deep interest in medieval art and music which reflects his specialty with dragon type Pokémon.
Despite his appearance, he is notably maternal and patient.
Gets emotional when he gets compliments since he rarely got them growing up from his parents.
Very skilled with stringed instruments such as violins, guitars, cellos, etc.
He towers over most of the faculty at the academy since he's around 6'4.
Hassel is a super affectionate person and freely hugs students who asks him for one.

Baldur's Gate 3 Characters' Pokémon Team (Part 1)
—Astarion, the Pale Elf—
Read the other parts at the end of the post.
Hello everyone, I had this idea for a while and decided to put it into practice. I will talk about my ideas for a Pokémon team, analyzing the characters' profiles, thinking about their narrative and gameplay functions within the Baldur's Gate universe to find the best pocket monsters for them.
The only rules are: 1 Starter, 4 common Pokémon and 1 Legendary or Mythical. The team also needs a Gigantamax or a Mega Evolution.
Today's character who will win a Pokémon team will be Astarion, the Pale Elf.
Let's start with your Starter, the one that the coach starts by forming a strong bond. They are small, friendly creatures that are easy to train, and they are also rare.
And your Starter could not be other than the Paldea Grass Starter, Sprigatito.
Sprigatito is an extremely friendly cat. And cat suits Astarion! They are fast, cunning beings, perfect for a rogue. But it's not just because this little one is a cat! They evolution, Meowcarada, is perfect for Astarion.
Meowcarada are Pokémon with a bold attitude, they like to appear to distract opponents while they perform a trick or cheat. Yes, this cat is the spirit of the liar! All theatrical to distract from the truth!
And its typing matches Astarion a lot, the second type being Dark, which gives the feeling of evil that surrounds a vampire.
The second Pokémon I thought of is Noviern, the evolution of Noibat.
This huge Dragon/Normal Pokémon brings all the vampiric energy of Astarion. Being a huge, powerful bat, fast and with a resistant type.
Furthermore, it is a Pokémon that I see Astarion using to impose his strength. While Meowcarada is his more deceitful side, Noviern is his more fighting side.
Astarion's third Pokémon would be a Weavile, a Dark/Ice type Pokémon!
Weavile are even more cunning and dangerous than Meowcarada, as they behave much more perversely. They are cats specialized in attacking from behind, hiding, they are fast and lethal. If Meowcarada had the personality, Weavile has the way of acting like a rogue.
Furthermore, they are Pokémon with a strong personality, hardly giving up on their goals, just as Astarion never gave up on his.
Astarion's next Pokémon represents his hatred, everything he accumulated in the years he was a slave to Cazador. This is Hisuian Zoroark, Astarion's fourth Pokémon.
This ancient form of Zoroark is not a Dark type, but Normal/Ghost. This Pokémon is practically a spirit, full of hatred for humans and aggressive behavior.
He even has the ability to change shape, disguising himself to deceive. However, this Pokémon has a less cunning behavior in general, and is more direct.
White skin with red, with a hunchbacked expression and posture. Sometimes, we just want to avenge those bad feelings we felt, and Astation knows very well what that is.
(Bonus: a friend of mine told me that this Zoroark reminds me of Astarion when he does the Ascension ritual! And well, it really seems!)
Astation's fifth and last common pokemon is unusual. But I think he manages to convey his less aggressive side well. This pokemon is Leavanny.
Leavanny may seem like a strange choice on this team, but it makes perfect sense! They are gentle Grass/Bug Pokemon who love to sew. That's right, sewing and weaving clothes, mending them.
I can see Astarion using this pokemon to help sew his beloved white t-shirt! Not to mention that he is someone who understands fashion and could give their opinion on it. Furthermore, they are gentle Pokémon, who make clothes to keep other Pokémon warm. They are attentive, calm and affectionate.
Not to mention, look at their claws! They're like two blades, these Pokemon are great for cutting and fighting too! In the end, Leavanny rounds out this team very well.
And lastly, we have the team's legend. One that even represents Astarion, Mewtwo, a powerful Psychic Pokemon.
See, Mewtwo was once a slave, trapped by his creators, forced to follow their orders. Totally lost, without anyone, alone... Deep down, Mewtwo wanted to be understood, and perhaps our Pale Elf understands they on several points.
Mewtwo would be your Mega Pokémon. And to top it off, he has two megas!
Mega Y is purely a Psychic type, much more mentally powerful and with an air of superiority. They is a Mewtwo above, ascended. It conveys well the absolute concentration of power in a single being.
And the Ascended Astarion would love to have you by his side. The best for the best.
Mega X has a secondary type, Fighting, and is much more humanoid. It's Mewtwo who has connected to their human side, who understands their strength. They doesn't need incredible psychic powers or superiority, he just needs to connect to his hidden side.
Spawn Astarion would choose them, as he sees the strength that change brings. This Mewtwo may look different from the original, but it's they, just with a different vision. Another force.
And now, we have the conclusion, where based on what was analyzed, I say that Astarion's favorite type is:
Dark type!
The Dark type is linked to Pokémon with the characteristic of "Doing evil", they are not always evil, but they do evil. They can be silly actions or really cruel actions, it all depends on the Pokémon.
This would be his favorite type, but as we saw, it's not the only one he would leave on his team. Let's be honest, Astarion would love Dark-type pocket monsters, with their greedy and cunning behaviors and incredible powers.
And I hope you enjoyed the analysis! I really want to team up with the other characters.

hey so a friend of mine asked me if i could pokésit her noibat and i said yes but i have no idea how to care for a noibat and i could use some help
noibat are actually surprisingly simple to care for, esp temporarily. don't force them to go into any bright lights if they dont want to (their eyesight isnt suited for it). they're not malicious at all unless you are perhaps a fruit or maybe a berry. also, HEAVY WARNING, carry heavy duty soundproof headphones. their trainer should probably have a few pairs lying around. just a safety precaution so you dont rupture your eardrums

Footballers as Pokemon Trainers, YNWA EDITION
Klopp, Alisson Becker and Virgil are in this post. Also this one is kind of longer than the others, sorry! I just really like how these teams came out and wanted to explain my reasonings behind them!!
@liverpool-enjoyer, @addictivewhispering and @lonely-salamander the usual! come get ur food, etc.
Firstly, as I'm doing Liverpool's manager, I'd like to cover Liverpool's mascot Pokemon as well, which I'd say is Moltres. Because it's just like the red bird on the Liverpool thingie. All mascots will probably be legendaries/mythicals/pseudos unless some other pokemon fits PERFECTLY for it.
Now onto Klopp himself.
Jurgen Klopp
now my friend theo (@addictivewhispering) made an EXCELLENT post about how different coaches would be as pokemon trainers, and with their permission I'll be putting that here:
i think klopp would prioritize speedy pokemon with good attack. glass cannons who are fragile defensively (get it bc liverpool players are always injured...). he'd use lots of priority moves along with things like u-turn and volt switch to try and overrun the opponent. always tries to hit as hard as he can, lots of boosted crit rate moves too
That sums up what I'd see his Pokemon fighting style to be! As a coach he gets to go past the 3 pokemon pattern I've been doing so far, but other than coaches (and Ronaldo, when I get around to him), everyone else should have three pokemon.
Talonflame
Although I don't believe it would be his starter, I believe Talonflame would be Klopp's signature battling Pokemon. First of all, it's the red YWNA bird. Secondly it fits with his fighting style; Talonflame plays as a fragile cannon and can also be used as a pivot since it learns U-Turn. Another thing I did with these was I tried to make them advantageous (and disadvantageous) in certain conditions, as a cheeky reference to how Klopp often blames the outcome of a match on the conditions of the pitch (the wind, height of grass, etc.). So for Talonflame, it has a 4x weakness to Stealth Rocks, which is the most prominent entry hazard in the metagame currently. It's also powerful in the Sun weather, and really bad in Rain.
2. Perrserker
This is what I believe would be Klopp's starter Pokemon, and by extension, his partner Pokemon. When I sent Max an ask about this sort of thing, she suggested Melmetal for Klopp, but I don't give legendaries to trainers, so I decided on giving him a Steel-type. Perrserker has his beard and also his toothy grin, as well as jovial attitude, but fierceness in battle (on the pitch). Perrserker's ability, Steely Spirit, powers up other Steel-types in the party (although I didn't give klopp any more steel types) which feels very YNWA to me. Also, Perrserker is very good in Sandstorm.
3. Abomasnow
This one is the main part of my "translating the Klopp blaming the weather meme" idea. Abomasnow is bearded like Klopp as well. But for those who don't know, Abomasnow's ability sets up Hail (called Snow now) which is obviously its most advantageous weather. It also has a 4x weakness to Fire, which ties in with Talonflame and having disadvantages in certain situations. And although I agrre that Klopp would use sweepers, I do think he would still want to set up an Aurora Veil.
4. Hydreigon
Drei is the german word for three. Hydreigon is german. Jurgen is german. Hydreigon also has a 4x weakness to Fairy type.
5. Noibat
Jurgen would capture a Noibat because he found it cute, then would realize it can amplify his voice, then use it when celebrating at the sides to make his laughs of joy heard, as well as when he shouts orders. He also thinks it's very cute. It also has a 4x weakness to Ice.
idk if u've noticed, but it seems like Klopp's team is good against one another. Well it was intentional. I feel like Klopp would unintentionally do that. Then he's just like. Oh well. Anyways
Alisson Becker
Does not like battling that much, if at all. Prefers contests if anything, but really just wants to vibe, tbh. Also I accidentally made him a Fairy type trainer. Oh well.
Shiny Ribombee
Max said that Alisson would have a weakness for cute things like and I agree. Cutiefly (Ribombee's baby form) is the smallest, cutest thing ever. I feel like Alisson would meet it by catching it between a pair of big goalkeeper gloves and just fall in love with it. Idk. And then they were inseparable from there.
2. Mega Gardevoir
Alisson always gave me the vibes of "fierce, cute protector" which is exactly what Gardevoir is. People think it's weak and flimsy because of it's design...but it can literally open black holes. Yeah I'm not 100% about this one but I think it fits. Well, I can guarantee you Alisson would have a Ralts.
3. Cottonee
Another example of him having a weakness for pretty things. The way Cottonee's cotton is styled reminds me of Alisson's hair and beard as well. Also I imagine he lets it use Aromatherapy to calm him down when he's anxious.
Virgil:
Virgil definitely just likes big, defensive, scary-looking Pokemon. But secretly they're all just sillies like he is.
Golurk
Golurk would definitely be his starter...like that's Virgil embodied right there. It has his looming stare, big frame, and also it fucking flies and I think Virgil would find that awesome, and take Alisson on rides with it.
2. Metagross
Similar reasoning to Golurk tbh. But here's the thing. Despite how big and strong Metagross looks, it's still weak to Knock Off (dark-type move), and that fact for some reason, reminds me of that video of Van Dijk tripping where the commentator called him van disney. yeah don't ask idk either.
3. Grimmsnarl
Alisson kept bugging him to capture a 'cute' fairy type,,,,,and it's this fucking thing yep

[ SPEECH-TO-TEXT ACTIVE. ]
Soundwave, get off of my phone! Damnit, you closed my game... Ugh, I know you want love, but not right now. I have some things to... to think about.
You think Marnie likes me?
{ Noi Noibat! }
...me too, I guess I'll just have to get closer to her, and maybe... just maybe she'll end up seeing me as more than a friend. I should get a Murkrow, she likes Dark-Types, right?
Or an Applin... yeah, that'd be good.

Hey, welcome to the blog!
My name's Grayson, but feel free to call me Gray! Pretty much everyone does. I'm a trainer living in Driftveil, Unova, and this is the place where I just kinda hang out, post about stuff, and talk to my friends!
My ask box is always open, and I'm happy to talk whenever! Enjoy your stay!
Sideblogs (mind content warnings): @gray-friendball @dream-friendball
OOC:
Hey! Actual person behind the screen here! This is just a fun little thing I wanted to make after being inspired by @realpokemon's blog. Kinda-sorta a roleplay blog technically? I'm just treating it like what a trainer would post on Tumblr if it existed in-universe. Bit of a spur of the moment decision, but I have Many Thoughts about how the Pokémon universe works and how people would actually live in it, so this is my outlet.
Posts will be split up between in-character and ooc in the tags for convenience.

Got any tips for the Noibat line? Particularly Noivern. Long story short I very suddenly inherited one from my former boss. Guess the family didn't want her? Or maybe just couldn't care for her, I don't know.
Either way I now have a giant bat that can rupture my eardrums and doesn't listen to a word I say. I do really want to give her a good home, but I'm losing my mind here.
Oof. Noivern is a tough one.
I might do a proper write up one day (I've got...a lot in my inbox) but just right now with something time sensitive?
You're already on the back foot here. These are tough, determined pokemon, like many dragon types, and she lacks the bond she would have had with her previous owner.
Noivern are pretty carnivorous, but they have a sweet tooth. Try and work out what her favourite fruit is and use those as peace offerings. Noivern will fall over themselves for ripe fruit, and while she's eating it's a safe time to approach and pet her. Your best bet is to get her used to your presence first, let her associate you with good things.
Heavy duty earplugs may well save your hearing, but try and avoid the area around her snout. Those sound waves can shatter boulders.
If you can get to a gym, and have access to strong pokemon, a battle might be a good idea. It sounds barbaric, but this pokemon, like many dragon types, respects strength. Defeating her in battle and then offering her fruit after sends the message "I am strong and worthy of respecting, but I want to be friends with you." If you live near a fairy type gym, you can borrow one of their pokemon to help. This kind of situation is one they're used to.
If that doesn't work, you may have to rehome her if she becomes a danger to you. These pokemon are a lot of effort and not everyone has time for that.
Some old fashioned dragon type keepers would use light exposure as a punishment, but that's just cruel. These pokemon like it dim.

In another time, a kinder time, Elle doesn’t have to go through hell and back to save the world in a never ending Thursday. She is a little younger and a little lonelier when that fated confrontation happens on the peak of Mt Coronet. She is far away.
Her parents don’t disown her. But they visit more, after that. It’s enough to make her realize she doesn’t want them to, but she can’t stop them.
She talks with her therapist about it, and finally decides to do something a little stupid. She goes where they can’t follow— a liberal arts college campus, the kind of place that asks your pronouns and doesn’t notice that one of their commuting students isn’t registered to show up.
She stays in the Pokémon center, mostly, and goes to college every day. It starts out as just something to pass the time while her parents are visiting and she’s dodging their calls, but then it turns into a genuine fascination. There’s so much she has yet to learn!
It’s okay if people think she’s ditzy and weird. It’s okay if she pretends to have the directional sense of the Galarian champion to excuse the fact that she doesn’t belong here. The food isn’t great, but it’s free. With a backpack and a lanyard, she looks just like any other student.
And then she accidentally makes a friend. And learns that the sinnoh champion is really cool and a good teacher. She didn’t mean to get attached to any other students, but, well…. Maeral offered to help her study. And fi has a really fucking cute noibat.
At this rate, she’s not pretending anymore. She really is enjoying higher education. A lot. She doesn’t understand most of it, but there’s no pressure to perform, is there?
And then she sort of…accidentally moves in with Maeral. In the dorm. A sleepover turns into a permanent new living situation and she’s happy for once. She can’t keep lying but she’s happy, and Celia is really nice too.
So. She stops lying. And they, by some miracle, let her stay.

@jayden-the-popplio
Hi! Noibat's friend here! First what you mean almost dying!? Elaborate please!
Second . Yveltal!? Oh if it is what I think it is... I am really worries for you all.
This thing can talk to other Pokemon, too? That's so awesome! Hey, Noibat! Is it alright if I talk to him?
Whatever... Wait, is that Jayden?! NO! I mean, yes- I mean... Just don't be harsh, alright?
Got it. If you want to know, we tried fighting Yveltal. All of us, together! It was a beautiful sight to behold! ...Until he started glowing.
It felt like we all aged by like eighty winters, even if for a short moment. Then he put a huge hole in the ground, leading to a deeper part in the cave. Oh, and we found him in a cave, by the way.
Noibat caught Lucas and tried flying to the bottom. But he doesn't know how to fly yet, but he flapped hard enough to stop themselves from hitting the ground at mach four. An "I can't swim, but I know how to not drown" kind of situation. David used Metal Claw to dig into the wall to slow himself down, I found a branch and used Vine Whip to catch it. Wave... Well, Wave probably has a broken nose-
HEY! Don't tell him about that! Tell him about how I used Water Gun to break my fall!
Sure, if we can also talk about how you nearly drowned yourself trying that?
-You can probably figure out what happened to him. It was pretty funny, if I had to be honest. For the most part, we all stopped ourselves from becoming the world's worst jigsaw puzzles.
But about the other thing... Yveltal. I think that was his name. He's probably a big deal, especially if you know about him.
There were two other Pokemon there, too... I heard their heartbeats. I think it was a Glaceon and Scyther...
They probably aren't important. I'm sure this'll blow over in like a week. The Guild'll probably handle 'em. And if not...[Stephanie struck a pose similar to that of a bodybuilder, despite her lack of muscle.] That's what we're here for!

Greninja x Hawlucha headcanons for my aching heart
ive been rewatching Pokémon xy on repeat for like. the last two years lol ENJOY these SILLY LITTLE headcanons
While this trait did not carry over into his evolution nor was it present in Froakie, Frogadier was, at one point, very much a flirt. As much as Hawlucha would claim to despise his antics, internally he was charmed by Frogadier’s advances; Then, when Casanova Frogadier evolved into the stoic, borderline unemotional Greninja, well.. the rest is history.
And sure, he flirted with Braixen on occasion, but he had little real romantic interest in her. He was astounded to find that she’d actually fallen for him, and though he felt awful about having to turn her down, the two still remain close friends.
They’ve both given each other lots of affectionate nicknames. Some of Greninja’s nicknames for Hawlucha (in order of how often he uses them) are Lucha, Featherhead, and Birdbrain (Hawlucha doesn’t really like that last one, haha.). Hawlucha’s nicknames for Greninja are Gren (which, despite this one literally being a shortened version of Greninja, it seems to always make his heart flutter whenever Hawlucha uses it..) Froggy and, rarely, Nin.
Hawlucha would tell you otherwise, but he was the one to catch feelings for Greninja— then Frogadier— first. There was something truly enamoring about his newly laid-back persona (and his fierce battling ability) that drew Hawlucha in, but he’d never ever admit it.
Maybe Hawlucha fell in love first, but Talonflame was the first to know that Frogadier shared his affections. The firebird couldn’t help but notice how frequently Frogadier— hell, how frequently Greninja— would moon over him and Frogadier just hated how much Fletchinder would bug him about it. It was Fletchinder’s teasing that eventually got Greninja to bite the bullet and confess his feelings.
Speaking of mooning, Greninja does that often. Heaven forbid Hawlucha go into one of his posing sessions, cause’ Greninja could swoon over those for hours.
Greninja’s a cuddler, for sure. Being alone in Kalos for so long rendered him terribly touch-starved; When he finally reunited with Hawlucha, the first thing he did was sweep him up into such a tight embrace that the poor fighting-type couldn’t breathe— of course, once the shock wore off, though, Hawlucha hugged him back with equal fervor, and Greninja’s knees seemed to buckle from beneath him once he felt Hawlucha nuzzle into the crook of his shoulder.
That said, Greninja sleeps best with Hawlucha by his side, and he enjoys snuggling into the latter’s soft, warm feathers. Hawlucha used to worry that Greninja’s amphibian-ness wouldn’t mix well with his warm-blooded nature, but, to his surprise, Greninja was all for Hawlucha’s body heat.
That’s not to say Hawlucha isn’t at all physically affectionate— just the opposite, actually. PDA has never been his thing (and it’s not just because he’s a little too short for the casual kisses or hugs) but in private he’s the first to pull Greninja down to his height just so he can press a chaste kiss to his lips. Greninja is obsessed with Hawlucha’s softer, more affectionate side.
One of the reasons Frogadier was so entranced with Hawlucha was simply because of how well he handled Noibat. Watching him be soft with the young bat subconsciously made him want Hawlucha to be soft with him, too. A frog can only dream though, right?

DISCLAIMER!! This post includes themes of Child Experimentation, Abuse, Abandonment, Trauma, and other similar themes.
Public Knowledge ( information everyone can know )
Silva can hear both the heart and the voice of Pokemon. This also applies to Ultra Beasts, Paradox Pokemon, extraterrestrial Pokemon, as well as other similar types. Silva is incredibly open about this fact and shows no signs of ever trying to hide it.
Silva is beyond naïve and trusts almost everyone she meets. Her “goal” is to befriend everyone, to help as many people as she can. To make the world happy.
Silva’s name is Bagatella Silva. Silva Bagatella Fleur de Feu
She was legally and publicly adopted by the Kalos figure Lysandre when she was around six years old.
Silva is from Kalos, she technically a public known figure in the region.
Silva has been to every region. Some she has only been to for a week, some as long as six months.
Silva left Kalos by train and ended up in Unova--Nimbasa City--first.
Silva only has one eye, it was lost in some accident, though when asked about it, generally she will avoid answering or give convoluted or dismissive explanation.
Silva’s “disappearance” is public knowledge. When it first happened and for months after, there would be broadcasts across Kalos--some even reaching neighboring regions--about Lysandre’s daughter going missing. The missing case never quite went “cold,” but it did slow in it’s public image at about the one year point.
Three of Silva’s pokemon--Archel[archen], Boreas[amaura], and Keyley[klefki]--are held within Luxury Balls, as opposed to the rest which are held in normal pokeballs.
Boreas is considered Silva’s “main” partner, he is a large shiny Amaura. That being said, Navi[noibat], is also another one of Silva’s ‘mains’.
Keyley is usually not in their pokeball, they are usually just chilling in Silva’s bag.
Keyley has no “voice,” only a heart, and is generally considered a very quiet pokemon as opposed to the majority of klefkis. They really don’t ‘jangle,’ especially not around Silva. When they do, it usually has...mixed results.
Silva uses a blue Holocaster.
Prior to being adopted, Silva survived “as a pokemon”, in the Snowbelle forest. She was taken in by two old talonflames--Ignia and Impa. She was known in Snowbelle as the “cryptid”, and was thought to be a ghost of a dead child or even just a phantump or mysterious pokemon until she was actually confirmed as real.
Silva can make pokepuffs, poffins, and pokeblocks. She can also make sandwiches...but she’s working on it, has a collection of recipes given to her by a friend.
Silva has horns and an yveltal tail that begins to be noticable after about a year on the run...it’s fake. Right?
Silva’s scars are grey splotches with bright red vein-like streaks across them. Up until her time in Alola, she tries her best to hide these.
Silva is extremely technically apt. If given the right conditions, she probably could have been an inventor. There are very few things Silva can’t figure out, if you give her enough time she will figure it out.
Semi-Private Knowledge ( information that only a few people/select groups know )
Silva does NOT know what Team Flare actually wants beyond what she’s been told. She is essentially unaware of how ‘bad’ they really are, and for the most part sees them as a good force...even if she’s running from them. Her reason for running comes down to “wanting a little break” so that she can recover from the accident.
Silva was experimented on initially to form a connection to the legendary pokemon Yveltal to assist in it’s use for the Ultimate Weapon. These experiments were largely successful, she now has a permanent artificial bond with Yveltal and is slowly turning into an Yveltal herself. Although her energy potential is beyond the original.
Silva’s amaura, Boreas, was revived by Team Flare.
Silva’s archen, Archel, was revived by Team Flare.
Boreas was purposefully given to Silva as a control factor to test the capabilities and potential of connection she could have with another Pokemon. Basically a prep for Yveltal.
Unlike Boreas, Archel was sort of stolen by Silva during her escape. Silva’s klefki, Keyley, used to be owned by a member of Team Flare before they were given to Silva.
Silva was Conditioned(Pavlovian/Respondant) by Team Flare as a child. Keyley was used as the stimuli and can still be used as stimuli.
The accident was during one of the procedures for the Yveltal experiments.
From age twelve to fourteen, Silva is on the run from Team Flare/Lysandre. At the end of those two years, Silva goes back to Kalos.
Silva escaped from Flare a month after the accident. About a month later, she managed to get out of Kalos.
During her time running in Kalos, Silva wears a fennekin mask. This mask returns when she’s in Paldea when her paranoia starts spiking up again.
When Silva is either injured or forced unconscious, Silva’s unconscious body will begin to drain any and all life around. Leaving behind a permanent mark where she had been injured. The marks are grey with long streaks of pink-red veins coming from the center of the mark.
Silva has a form of dissociative disorder after the accident.
Silva is extremely paranoid, though she usually hides it with being extremely positive.
At the halfway point of her journey, she stayed in the Crown Tundra in a village in the mountains. This village was later burned to the ground. Silva has never been back to Galar nor Crown Tundra since that event.
Silva is “stable” when she is in Paldea due to the Crater. The longer she is within the crater itself, the more likely she is to sleep and to eventually go into her own cocoon state.
Private Knowledge ( information that basically nobody knows )
Silva is the biological daughter of the Anistar couple Amil and Andre Lacroix. They are both still alive and well in Anistar City.
Amil gave up his own original name in exchange for his wife’s. His original name was Bagatella Amil.
The name on Silva’s birth certificate is “Bagatella Ninette Azalaïs-Silva.”
Silva was abandoned in the woods surrounding Snowbelle City when she was around a month and a half old to die due to being thought to be “a demon” or the “reincarnation” of old evils within the family. Later, she was publicly reported missing and then a year later labeled dead as an assumption after the case went cold.
Silva bares an uncanny resemblance to the old matriarch of the Bagatella family a few centuries prior to the present, Bagatella Vasil. Most records of Vasil have been deleted or pulled out of public knowledge, however.
The reason Silva can talk to pokemon and hear their hearts is likely due to Vasil’s influence on connecting to the Sundial. It’s implied that Silva has a stronger connection to the ‘cycle’ itself, though it is unknown how far this connection goes.
Silva was essentially raised to die, the experiments were meant to end in a “merciful” sort of death. However, these experiments consequentially made her incapable of staying dead so to say. Silva will survive, and eventually will stop aging all together.

you know that one batman comic where he plays like a FPS shooter game?
out of all the games I'd envision batman playing, I'd feel he be utterly opposed to first person shooters. since you know his parents died to a shooter, I feel like he’d totally play pokemon go tho.
because really who would expect batman of all people play a game where you catch little monsters, he totally got roped in one day by Tim or dick who heard of it from a friend and they just love it now. because they can play on their patrols if there’s nothing going on, on a walk, or anywhere! and it really appealed to them because they don’t need a PC or console or anything just their phones.
bruce was like “okay I’ll try.” because they didn’t have enough people to fight a raid, and bruce just loves it now. as a family when doing patrol they sometimes as a bond as a family playing the little monster game, they are never around for the events because they really only have time to play sometimes. but bruce eventually get the League in on the fun, after doing a whole background check.
in their free time (mostly Oliver) they trade and such idk, like 2 of them (Flash and superman) can go anywhere in the world in like less then 20mins. so they have all the region exclusives, and bruce is jealous because he never has anytime to go anywhere to play, so he just gives his pokemon go phone to clark (yes of course bruce has a phone specifically for pokemon because he’s paranoid, it only has pokemon go on it there’s nothing else.) and he pays for all the events and such, and clark goes and do’s them for him when he can’t.
and when the flash or superman can’t do the pokemon go events for him he goes to Jason and says “Jason you get the pick of the litter, please I beg can you go do the event for me.” he actually begs, he really wants the virtual monsters. he could hack but that defeats the purpose, so he just asks anyone he can.
he legit hired someone to go do pokemon events when he can’t go, the someone really likes being hired to play a video game they love. and they have loads of fun! they are good buddies at that point, when they get back from the event they plop down the phone and say “had a great time boss! nice to see you.” and bruce us just “thank you, so much.”
when the press finds out that Bruce Wayne billionaire like Pokemon go the whole of Gotham goes into a second Pokemon go mania, and niantic releases a special event to commemorate batman and the robins (and batman and girl and red-hood.) and there’s just a bunch! of zubats and woobats and noibats in batman, robin, batgirl, batwoman, and red-hood costumes. joker is like “maybe I do want to play this game after all.” and also joins in on the fun, because I do feel like he’d do that.
idk that's all I have.
BYEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee........
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Something I see go wrong a lot with newer trainers/Pokémon handlers is that they try and evolve their Pokémon too early. So I’ve made a little list of things to keep in mind when thinking about evolution:
Keep in mind that I’m not a professor! Most of this stuff is what I’ve learned from being a Ranger, which means it’s mostly about the physicality of Pokémon rather than genetic needs!
The first thing to ask yourself is, does your Pokémon even want to evolve? Skidds, my Skiddo, was really hesitant at first. She was scared of evolution and the changes to her body, and downright refused to even try training for it. But after a lot of reassurance and watching some other Pokémon evolve, she changed her mind! This isn’t to say every Pokémon will change their mind, some just aren’t built for evolution or just don’t want to do it, and that’s okay! As long as your Pokémon is happy, that’s all that matters.
If you do decide to evolve, then the next question to ask your self is, how does my Pokémon evolve? Most people don’t really think about this, but different requirements require different training. Here are some methods and their requirements (let me know I forgot any, there’s just so many):
Evolution stone: Pokémon that evolve using a stone need a lot of training! This is because their bodies don’t naturally build up the kind of muscle needed for evolution. While evolution stones have been around for a long while, they weren’t always so easily accessible so Pokémon evolved not to need them (a professor can fact check me on this). Their stone evolutions are typically much stronger than their pre’s and that makes it much harder for them to evolve, especially early on.
Special requirements: These are on the easier side! Often enough the Pokémon will naturally build the strength needed for evolution and then get whatever else it needs with the requirement. This goes for Pokémon that need to hold an item, to Pokémon that need a certain level of friendship. Still make sure you prepare as best you can though!
Natural evolution: This one is also on the easier side! Pokémon who evolve naturally will evolve when they’re ready (unless the Pokémon is holding an everstone) this means that it could take a long while for your Pokémon to evolve (this goes with stronger evolutions like Aaron to Larion) or it could take a really short amount of time (Caterpie to Metapod). This process can be sped up with adequate training, but it also comes down to the Pokémon being both physically and mentally ready.
Great! You’re ready for evolution, now all that’s left is actually training! Of course training is going to look different for every Pokémon, but there are a few standard things to think about, most importantly: What does your Pokémon’s evolution look like? This doesn’t refer to appearance, no, it’s all about how strong the evolution is, and what it’s specialties are! When I started training Newt, my Noivern, for evolution I put a focus on building up his wing muscles. Noibat sometimes have a hard time learning to fly because their wing size can be smaller than it should be for their body size. Newt was no exception. We spent weeks practicing his flying and building up those muscles. We already knew he was going to be a ride Pokémon, so we made sure he was capable of carrying more weight. We also worked on his ear muscles. Noibat already have amazing hearing, but evolving about doubles that, so we had to do sound exercises to make sure Newt could handle higher volumes.
This is all to say that training for evolution is about both what your Pokémon will need for its new traits, and what it will need to do once evolved. This looks different for ever Pokémon, so don’t be afraid to try different things or even consult rangers, other trainers, or even professors!
Last, but not least, keep in mind that training doesn’t end once your Pokémon has evolved! I know that your Pokémon friend may seem right as rain after it evolves, but most of the time Pokémon need some help getting used to their new traits. With Newt, no matter how much we trained his ears, he still got overwhelmed after evolving. This is completely normal. Training as a Pokémon is the same as working out as a human. You’ll always need to keep up with your muscles, keep working out so you stay strong. Even now, a little over a year after Newt evolved, I still have him work out his hearing from time to time.
And that’s about it! I hope this helps anyone looking to evolve their Pokémon. As I said at the start of this, I’m not a professor or anything so please do more research into diets, and other things to keep your Pokémon healthy while working up to evolution! Most of that stuff gets regulated for me because the Ranger Union likes to keep track of training and all that.

*runs to ur front door and politely knocks on it* does your reborn ocs have a theme for their pkm teams/any reason for specific pokemon? i am v curious
pls feel free to knock the door in anytime <3
ok this is a fun one!! lemme go one at a time
Emery- (Delphox, Ninetales, Heliolisk, Volcarona, Lilligant, Espeon)
emi has a sun team! Fennekin is their starter, they love fire types and they just found it really cute (among some other reasons! it has a rlly affectionate personality yet little bit of a mischievous streak, and they just fell in love). they have some other members of their team that Don't Make It (spoilers) that aren't mentioned here as well-- this is just their final team. they prefer Fire-types but they're pretty largely sun-themed as a character and their team reflects that!
Rowan- (Gardevoir, Umbreon, Absol, Delphox, Meowstic-M, Thievul)
they're the opposite end of the spectrum as Emi-- largely moon-inspired. they specialize mainly in psychic and dark although they aren't a specialist for those types by any means, it just kind of happened to shake out that way for them. their starter was Also Fennekin (which comes in handy when they're hitchhiking with Emi when she picks a starter) and they have a really strong bond as they've been together for so long. Absol is probably her signature mon though, just as it's the one she uses most often/Mega Evolves.
-
Soleil- (Primarina, Mimikyu, Sylveon, Gengar, Togekiss, Rotom)
they're a ghost/fairy specialist! they actually originated when a friend and I picked dual monotypes for each other to do in a monorun and I decided to make an OC out of it. they're rather fond of ghosts as they love history, and ghost-type Pokemon tend to hang around those kinds of historical sites. they also found that ghosts were often pretty friendly to her and tended to be misunderstood, so she took a liking to them. fairies they just really like. it started when their Eevee evolved unintentionally into a Sylveon-- they just loved it at first sight.
-
Lyra- (Minior, Cosmog, Clefable, Beheeyem, Starmie, Musharna, Deoxys)
lyra actually originated just because I'm a really big sucker for space and galaxy themes and wanted to design an OC based on that! there's a lot of interesting space/alien/star-aligned Pokemon, so their team is based on that. they're also primarily a reserve psychic leader, so Minior and Clefable usually act as wild cards during battles. Deoxys and Cosmog xe don't get until postgame, and Cosmog eventually evolves into a Lunala (although it's just a Cosmog for a pretty long time because they don't fight with it and xe thinks it's Too Dang Cute).
Niko- (Rotom, Hoopa, Noivern, Zoroark, Polteageist, Toxtricity)
his team is largely based around theme of electricity and sound and his arcade theme rather than any one type! Noibat -> Noivern was a gift from Arc, and they often fix machinery in the nightclub together with their Rotom. Zoroark comes in handy when they have to disguise themself when going down to Seventh with Arc, and Toxtricity helps with the music in the club obviously. she has the same kinda mischievous personality as Hoopa, so that's totally something she'd pick up in postgame.
-
Shira- (Gardevoir, Sylveon, Ribombee, Alolan-Muk, Salazzle, Roserade)
shira's team has undergone a few changes since I usually update my OCs in either design or lore a decent amount, lmao-- they're largely a poison and fairy specialist now. eevee was their first Pokemon, and they barely knew anything about Pokemon at the time, so she didn't have any special stones or know about any specific evolution conditions for it, so it ended up evolving into Sylveon due to their high levels of friendship and it happened to know Baby-Doll Eyes (Shira is not immune to the puppy eyes). Gardevoir was a gift from Soren, who has Gallade-- while Roserade was a gift from Ace and Taka.
Soren- (Silvally, Porygon-Z, Gallade, Delphox, Rotom, Froslass)
their team is more based specifically on technology as it's their specialty, with a few exceptions-- Snorunt was their starter, but Type:Null is their signature mon. they ended up finding Null abandoned and hurt before they joined meteor and attempted to heal it back to health-- it just started following them around after that. Gallade is a counterpart specifically to Shira's Gardevoir, while Delphox was a gift from Ace. they're originally from Ametrine, so that's where they ended up finding Snorunt as their first Pokemon within the mountains :>
-
as for nicknames, I like it when characters nickname Pokemon, and it's in character for every one of my OCs-- just for different reasons-- so they do all nickname their team members as well. let me know if you're curious about those, I just didn't want to make the post too long :>

Pokémon choices: Jonathan Harker addition! The drawing of Harker with his Pokémon at journey start. here.
There will be spoilers so don’t read if new to the book
Rockruff
The first Pokémon I chose for Jonathan was his Rockruff, Horatio. My reason being Jonathan has a very pleasant and friendly personality that Rockruffs are described to have at the start of his journey but later his personality is not stopped focused on killing the Count and is one of the more violent members of the group, matching up a bit with the Pokédex entries for Rockruff in Pokémon Sun and Moon and Pokémon Scarlet.
Rockruffs can evolve into either a daytime, nighttime, or the rare dusk lycanrock. Which matched up with the potential for Harker to be turned into a vampire by the Count and the girl gang. The choice to be a man of day or a creature of night. Inevitably, as noted by many last Dracula daily, Jonathan becomes something not quite human (his strange speed, strength, white hair to mention a few discussed pieces). The Dusk form for Lycanrock matches the inbetween state of Jonathan later in the novel. It’s Pokédex entries for Sun and Moon, Sword and Shield, and Scarlet and Violet mention that Dusk Lycanrock has a calm nature until the battle begins where it fights relentlessly just like Jonathan post October 3rd whenever he is in vicinity of Count Dracula. Plus the shiny’s color for the evolutions are blue, which I associate with Jonathan for it’s quiet, unassuming, yet strong nature.
The name Horatio of course comes from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Horatio is Hamlets best friend and is skeptical of the supernatural. Jonathan takes his rockruff with the same name to mirror Jonathan’s own original skepticism with the supernatural.
Eevee
Now I wasn’t certain if I wanted to give Jonathan another Pokémon at his journeys start but my brain thought of how cute it would be if Jonathan, Mina and maybe Lucy all had the same Pokémon. Since Eevee has so many evolutions, I thought it was a fitting one to choose.
If I was to do a Dracula Characters as Pokémon au, I would pick for both Mina and Jonathan to be Eevees. For Jonathan, the one reason is that a normal Eevee color is brown but the shiny is white; post October 3rd, Jonathan goes from being a normal Eevee to a shiny one. The second reason is Eevee and evolve into Leafion, a grass type, which can learn life draining moves like Leech seed. Perfect for being a vampire equivalent with out being a ghost type. (The mental image of Count Dracula as a noivern chasing after Eevee!Jonathan with the intention of turning him into a Leafion is funny to me.)
Jonathan would evolve his Eevee into a Sylvion. Sylvion can only evolve with high Friendship and is a fairy type. Fairy types have the advantage over Dragon types, which the Count would have as his favored Pokémon type. Sylvion are also noted to be violent against Dragons in a few Pokédex entries like in Pokémon Moon.
The name Hamlet was chosen because of it being the Shakespeare character Jonathan mentions most in his entries (albeit each instant mentioned was for when he was questioning his sanity and using a familiar figure to try and safely navigate through the distress).
Phantump
I wanted to give Jonathan a Pokémon from Castle Dracula as the final one for his party. He only has three Pokémon to match Mina who will also have three Pokémon. That way when together the Harkers can have a full team. The only people I can see having a full team of six, which is typical for Pokémon trainers into battling, would be Quincey Morris and Count Dracula. None of the others will have full teams of six (it’s probably expensive to take care of a lot of Pokémon too).
Castle Dracula has a scary feel to it and is surrounded by woods and wolves. As such there are probably a lot of Ghost and Dark type Pokémon around. With this criteria I considered a Noibat, a Phantump, a Mimikyu dressed as a Noibat, or a Litwick. I eventually decided on the Phantump because in its Pokédex entries (Y, Sun, Sword) Phantumps are described as being a dead child possessing a tree stump. Considering we read both about the vampires killing at least two children and how the child deaths affected Jonathan, it seems fitting that he would run into and befriend one. I’m not sure if this Phantump would be one of the two to children to die or of an earlier kind. Nevertheless, one of them chooses to follow Harker around the castle and out.
The Phantump does not yet have a nickname as it would probably want its old name back. It could evolve as a means to protect Jonathan during his flight away from the Castle and free itself from being a ghost of the castle where it died.
That should be all for Jonathan’s Pokémon. Thank you for reading this whole post!
