how do the kingdoms(? work (like Avalon(? Idk if i wrote them right helph) do they have customs?

So, there are seven overall kingdoms, and each kingdom has a "class", or an assigned role.

Desponia is the kingdom of leadership. Desponia was Marian's kingdom, the first kingdom to be established after the events of The Tale of Marian and Xander. Desponia has the most diversity of peoples within their borders, but doesn't take kindly to violence, which is often why Desponia is at odds with Thevletla.

Gei and Leona Richards are the current rulers, with their eldest daughter, Naviran, being next in line for the throne.

Thevletla is the kingdom of war. Thevletla was originally established a decade after Desponia, and was created by Xerites (followers of Xander, who had ruled the omnipotent kingdom prior to his and Marian's battle) who were set upon recreating Xander's legacy. Thevletla's customs include discipline, obedience, and brute fucking force. The kingdom is responsible for the mass production of armor and metal weaponry. Dimitri's militia is located in this kingdom, because it is the only one that allows open arms to be carried around at any time. There are no laws for firearms, since Dimitri is the first to "manufacture" them since the Great Quake, which was centuries ago (current day-- 2020s). Thevletla's current rulers are Damien and Viraina Browne, with their eldest son Zachary~Ryan next in line for the throne.

Yugoria is the kingdom of arts and drink. Yugoria was established by men on Xander's side ofter the war, and was primarily located in a no-man's land, which is why the kingdom was established there. Hah'lows (basically vampires) and Native peoples are the most likely to be found in this country due to origins from descending founders. The first distillery was founded here, after kingdom-to-kingdom wars broke out and soldiers found a desire for leisure. Yugoria was actually named Yugoslavia, and the origin story as to why it was named that is hilarious, but I altered it after I learned that Yugoslavia was a real fucking place. The current rulers of Yugoria are Aewin and Cosette Carson. Their only son, Maverick, would have been next in line for their throne, but he's currently gone missing and is considered dead, as announced during the 2341 Festival of Marian.

Kamidia is the kingdom of wealth and equality. Kamidia is the country's largest producer of fruit and produce goods, which exports to the other kingdoms regularly. Kamidia was established by Marian's best friend at the time, Shkeivatna. She believed in the completion of the world lying in the prospect of equality to all things, including human, elven, animal-bred or otherwise. This includes plants; Kamidia is home to the largest animal and wild plant sanctuary in the country, as well as hosts Timberwick Academy, Avalon's rival-in-arms. Kamidia is most at odds with Thevletla, as their values are opposed at their core. The current rulers of Kamidia are Yagira's mothers, whose names I would have just made up on a whim if I didn't remember that they were important names. Yagira, their only child, is next in line for the throne.

Jenisen is the kingdom of politics and poise, essentially. Jenisen was established in quick succession alongside Kamidia, Jenisen, and Valindaff, and were all formed by descendants of Marian or Marian's alleged supporters. Jenisen has always been the upstanding-civilian type of kingdom, with elegance as its top priority above all else, and most of the kingdom's responsibilities lie with printing important documents and holding trials. The current rulers of Yugoria are Alan and Giara Lovelace, with their eldest son, Eden, in line for the throne next.

Avalon is the Island Kingdom. Its primary function was to carry out seaboard operations working for other kingdoms under contract, but now operates independently as a kingdom of innovation. Avalon Academy is located in the center of the island, meant to teach children to utilize their Traits, developed elemental powers that vary based on race and genetics. Originally founded by a third party of people unassociated with either side during the war, it's been rumored that a certain species of animal-born people have been seen on the island, known to most as 'Fallen'. The current ruler of Avalon is Maximus Barnes, with his adoptive son, Malikai, next to gain leadership of the throne. In the actual plotline, once we discover that Malikai, now Derek, is actually the rightful heir of Desponia, he will assume his position as Heir/King there and leaving Aberniche as the only other viable option for overtaking the throne.

Valindaff is the port kingdom, responsible for controlling all docks and seaports. A higher concentration of fish-born people can be found in this kingdom, since 3 sides of this kingdom are surrounded by water. Valindaff is also a great contributor to the seafood imported into other kingdoms, as most of the sea borders are controlled by Vallinian government officials, which nobody really complains about; the Vallinians are the ones most capable and qualified for that job. Valindaff is, oddly, most at odds with the only other sea-based kingdom, Avalon, for their constant battle in innovative technologies. One is always trying to out-pace the other in terms of technological advancements (and they're the only kingdom to partake in this petty dispute..). The current rulers of Valindaff are Lilac and Cole Harris, with the eldest of their quadruplet girls, Jasper, in line for the throne.

Idk, the mental image of Tubbo still looking like absolutely shit, covered in grime and with blood in his hair, and next to him Sunny. With the newest clothes and not a hair out of place as Tubbo jelled it back with clean hands to insure no dirt went into his Princess’ hair.

miguel settled his elbow on the armrest, eyes glinted with adoration whilst his mouth stretched into a lovesick grin. he watched how you managed to pull joy out of them and there’s nothing he’s appreciated more than that,

the way you threw your head back as another cute giggle escaped you while holding onto his shoulder for balance was enough to make his heart ponder,

“man, you’ve got wicked sense of humor, y/n—say if shit went sideways between the two of you, just know I’m available”

miguel frowned upon hearing that as his nose scrunched up in disgust as he leapt the nearest pillow at his brother’s direction for that comment. he wrapped his arm around your waist far more protectively,

“watch it” he warned, glaring at him. he knew it was a joke but he still didn’t like how that sounded, “i’ll kick your fucking ass, monty”

upon seeing that, your hand moved to find his cheek, lightly tapping his chin with your finger to get him to look at you,

“easy there, big boy” your words soothed him in seconds, especially when he heard his favorite nickname leaving your mouth, "I'm with you"

the confirmation made him giddy and his heart blossomed,

Prompt: The girlies spend their day at a new cafe and Yunjin falls head over heels when she spots you working in your white sweater and grey apron.

“Let’s go let’s gooooo! Yunjin Unnie you’re wasting our time!!” A cutely angry Eunchae growled while tugging on her member’s black sweater in public.

“Seriously Yunjin, you’ve taken enough pictures of the streets in Seoul already!” Chaewon added which put an end to the American girl’s photography.

“You guys just don’t understand my love for photos. Fake friends you are” Yunjin joked and linked her arms with the maknae as all five girls continued walking down the street.

“This cafe better be good, Zuha. If it’s expensive and shit, I’m throwing your ass out the window” The leader spoke again to which Kazuha shivered at.

“Hey, Minjeong Unnie gave the suggestion and promised me it was worth trying so~ you can throw HER ass out the window”

They all saw the cute chalkboard sign outside the cafe that read “OPEN” and the shop was surprisingly not as busy as the girls had expected. As they fully entered, the only customer the cafe had was an occupied uni student in a booth, indulged into whatever she was typing in her computer and the music playing through her headphones.

“Ok good, it’s not crowded. Where’s the menu…woah” Yunjin said breathlessly, her sudden falter had the other members looking at her weirdly before seeing what (more like who) she was staring at.

You quickly wiped your freshly washed hands with a towel before chucking it to the side and flashing a bright smile at the group.

“Good morning, welcome to the Sunny Cafe! Are you all ready to order?”

Sakura cleared her throat as Yunjin was clearly not recovering from the daze so as the eldest, she decided to speak. “Good morning, it’s our first time coming here so we’re not too sure what to get yet”

To Yunjin, it seemed like your smile got brighter.

“No rush at all, ma’am! If you would like a recommendation, our matcha latte is a customer favourite!”

Sakura smiled sweetly towards you. “Thank you. I think my friends need a little more time to decide. Is that okay?”

“Of course, ma’am! Just give me a shout when you’re ready to order” You winked, sending a jolt in all five girls’ hearts.

“Ok, now I can agree that Yunjin’s reaction is appropriate” Chaewon sighed, unable to recover from your presence.

“Back off. My eyes were on her first” Yunjin finally spoke.

“Oh please, now you wanna talk? Grow a spine Yun. You can’t act like a weirdo everytime you see a pretty girl” Sakura complained and scanned through the menu in her hands. “But anyways since you wanna be like that, I can order for all of us—“

“No! I want to order my own!” The American stated loudly that you turned around with the same smile but Yunjin immediately cowered.

“Fine. Order your own then, brat”

Yunjin puffed her chest and approached the counter where your back was facing her so she cleared her throat. You spun around again and got your hands ready on the till.

“Hello! Ready to order—“

“HI IM YUNJIN!” The girl suddenly yelled, catching you and the other girls off guard.

Sakura face palmed and hid her face behind the menu.

“Nice to meet you Yunjin. I’m Y/n. What can I get for you?”

Yunjin was thankful you didn’t run away.

“S-Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you like that”

“It’s no problem. That was probably the strongest greeting I’ve gotten today”

Yunjin leaned one arm on the counter and nervously scratched her nape. “Is that a good thing?”

“Absolutely! Makes my day a little brighter” You giggled, finding shy Yunjin so so so cute.

In fact, you marked the girl as eye candy that moment you caught a glimpse of her outside the cafe window. You spammed quick texts to your groupchat about how hot you found this girl before putting your phone away and bringing out your amazing customer service.

It was extra amazing for the pretty customers. Like Yunjin.

“I’m glad I could make your day. Can I please order that matcha latte you recommended with some extra sugar to hide the seaweed taste…Is that too picky of me to request?”

You threw your head back laughing, making Yunjin melt internally at how angelic it sounded. “I’ve had worse customers, don’t you worry. I’ll try my best to make it less…seaweedie for you. Anything else I can get you?”

“What else would you recommend?”

“This conversation is going longer than I expected. You reckon she scored her?” Chaewon whispered to the other 3 girls who could only shrug.

“Well the girl is laughing and smiling so Yunjin must be doing something right”

“Unless she’s embarrassing herself” Kazuha mumbled.

“Can she hurry up? I want to order the croissant!” Eunchae huffed and eyed the beautifully displayed pastries next to the counter.

“Patience, Eun. Let’s give Yunjin some time to at least the girls number”

“Well if you need something more sweet to balance out the matcha, our strawberry cream cake is a great choice”

“Add that in!” Yunjin pulled out her card.

“Gave you a 50% discount so just $7.50 please”

The taller girl’s eyes widened. “Woah a discount? What for?”

“For cuties like you” you winked despite your heart going crazy at your pathetic attempt of flirting.

“Oh is that so? Sad to know other people probably get the discount too” Yunjin faked a pout that you wanted to kiss so badly.

“Oh don’t seem so down. You’re the only person I’ve given that discount to. I swear!”

Yunjin smiled and tilted her head at you, like a cute puppy. “Well am I cute enough to get your number?”

“Wow, confident are we?” You smirked after seeing Yunjin pay for her food.

“Taking a chance before I lose it”

Slowly nodding at her statement, you took her receipt and scribbled your number at the top, not forgetting to add a love heart at the end.

“Awesome…” Yunjin whispered to herself as she stared at the numbers in her hand.

“Pleasure serving you, Yunjin. Hope to see a message from you soon”

“W-Wait! Are you free on the weekends? I’d like to take you out sometime…for dinner”

You smiled at her, appreciating her boldness. “I work until 3pm on the weekends so we can sort something out”

“Cool. That’s like so cool. U-Um, thank you”

“Thank you?” A chuckled escaped your lips. “For what?”

“For not thinking I’m creepy”

“You’re not even close to creepy! I’m glad we could have this conversation, Yunjin. I’ll quickly make your order so your friends don’t keep waiting” You said, pointing at the impatient girls behind the taller.

The impatient girls actually just being Eunchae.

“Oh right. Thanks again. I’m looking forward to tasting your recommendation”

“Are you done?” Eunchae grumbled closely behind, Sakura’s credit card clenched tightly in her palm.

Yunjin took notice of it and arched a brow. “You’re making Kkura Unnie pay for your baby food?”

“I JUST WANT A CROISSANT!”

Yunjin jumped out of the way and made a face. “OKAY DAMN, I’LL MOVE! Not too far from Y/n though otherwise I’ll miss her too much” Yunjin winked, almost sending you into cardiac arrest.

“So NOW you have confidence? I don’t get you sometimes” Chaewon threw her arms up in defeat as Yunjin waved her receipt with your number on it.

“That’s because I scored the pretty girl!”

Despite focusing on making Yunjin’s matcha latte, you could see her doing a silly victory dance in the corner of your eye while Eunchae was frowning, clearly hangry from all the waiting.

synopsis: you decide to go watch rin's football practice for the first time, much to his delight. his teammates struggle to figure out who you are and what you've done to their usually very grumpy rin.

admittedly, you weren't much of a football fan, even though your boyfriend was a professional college player. you didn't really understand the sport, as you hadn't played it since second grade gym class, but for some reason, you had decided that today, on this sunny tuesday afternoon, you were going to drop by rin's practice alongside a football-for-dummies book to watch and hopefully learn a little about the sport he was so enamored with.

it would appear that they were in the middle of a practice match, as his teammates and him were wearing different colored pennies, and there was someone keeping score on a whiteboard.

you sat down on the bleachers quietly, not wanting to distract anyone from the game. your eyes scanned the field quickly, almost instantly finding rin's unique dark green hair. you tried your best to keep up with what was happening, quickly flipping through your book whenever someone did something cool to try and find it, but it proved to be quite difficult, and you found yourself very confused at the sport's intricacies.

despite your lack of understanding, the one thing you could observe and comprehend was how alive rin looked whilst playing. he was sweating, shit-talking, and scrambling around the field non-stop, clearly very tired, but his eyes had a certain glimmer to them that you didn't get to see often, and he moved around the field with immaculate grace and precision. you watched as he skillfully maneuvered around the field and how he seemed to be able to calculate exactly where his opponent would go. you didn't have to understand the sport to know that this field was a place where itoshi rin shined like no other.

rin took hold of the ball and began dashing across the field with it, his shiny hair blowing behind him. his eyes began darting around the field, his brain taking in and calculating every factor necessary to victory.

his brain certainly didn't expect to see you, his lovely s/o who knows nothing about football, sitting on the bleachers.

your eyes made contact for a brief moment before rin tripped over his own feet and flew forward, making literally everybody on the field stop what they were doing.

a brief moment of silence washed over the field before laughter soon took its place, his teammates jogging over to him asking if he was ok, and what the hell just happened as they howled in mirth.

he grumbled some excuse with red cheeks as he looked away, clearly very mortified. his coach decided to call a break, seeing as everyone had already stopped playing, and he grabbed his water before practically sprinting over to you.

"y/n," he breathed as he came to a stop in front of you, puffing a little from fatigue. "you're here."

you giggled. "hi, rin. i thought i should come watch one of your practices. i want to get to know all the aspects of your life, after all."

he leaned in closer to you to brush his hand against yours as you two chatted a bit. anyone could see the way his eyes softened as you spoke and how his shoulders relaxed at your every move. anyone even being his pretty-damn-stupid team.

in the distance, bachira, isagi, chigiri, nagi, and reo murmured amongst themselves, wondering about who you were - the mystery person mr. im-better-than-you-and-grumpy-all-the-time rin looked so happy to see.

"his sibling, maybe?"

"nah, i'm pretty sure sae is his only sibling."

"oh! what about his parent, then?"

"dude, do you have eyes? way too hot to be a parent."

"his lover, maybe?"

there were a solid 5 seconds of silence before they burst out into laughter once more.

"get out. itoshi rin, an s/o? no way in hell, dude."

"i doubt he could even keep anyone for more than a month. they'd get tired of his attitude real quick and leave just as fast."

"rin-chan probably isn't capable of loving anyone, after all."

despite their adamant denial of your relationship with rin, they could all notice rin's demeanor. he looked happier, more at ease, gentler, kinder, and overall, he looked like a normal person. who were you, and what had you done to their rin?

coach blew his whistle, and they watched as you gestured for him to get back with his team. they then watched with their jaws on the floor as he, itoshi rin, POUTED and SWEETLY PLANTED A KISS on your forehead before jogging off.

they all exchanged looks of pure shock as rin jogged back to them.

they all gave him a shocked look as he raised a brow.

"...what?"
