I love fics when the JL meets the Batfamily randomly because (1) All of the bats have Bruce's mannerisms when wearing the mask so its basically 8 batmans (with varying colours) roaming around the watchtower but two or three are nice and one might shoot you if you aren't Wonder Woman and (2) The family of detectives are all so oblivious to the fact that the JL doesn't know them.

And yeah they know The OG Robin runs the Titans and the Zombie one runs the Outlaws but they're so different and the same?? Like you genuinely don't know who is who but the one with the sword is related to Ra's al Ghul and the one who doesn't talk is related to Lady Shiva so sometimes things get awkward.

But then you have the fact that the blue one calls Superman Uncle Kal and the red one calls Wonder Woman Auntie Di so there's that. And at least 1 bat is dating someone else's protégé so there's really no saving them.

The Justice League seeing the Bats and seeing them bagging their previous sidekicks ladies, gentlemen and non binary individuals:

Green Arrow watching The Crime Lord Bat pick up Lian from Daycare and then pat Roy on the back promising that he'll make dinner tonight.

Wonder Woman and Flash watching Cassie and Bart flutter around the stalker Robin who's doing the Bat thing with his cape and looking so much like his dad Barry thinks he might faint.

Barry flabbergasted because Wally is lying on Acrobat Robin's lap while he talks to one (?) of his wives who herself is eyeing the first Wonder Girl.

Superman watching his cousin flock around Batgirl (Acrobat Robin's wife?) while she's dotted on by Zatanna and the other wife (+Donna).

Wonder Woman watching Yara be in awe of the silent bat,the purple one and the yellow one (who apparently works the day shift??). Donna's flocking around both of Dick's wives and Cassie is still with the stalker Robin.

Half of the JL completely stunned because Superboy (the little one who is still little) is fluttering around sword Robin and hanging onto every word he says. The older superboy is carrying stalker Robin around like its a normal occurrence. Bruce and Clark don't even bat and eye about it.

Okay so I'm SURE whatever force sent the boys in Young Justice to another world also sent Cassie to a world of her own.

For one, when Cissie mentions how they only fought women and people who didn't speak English,those were the SPECIFIC threats Bart,Tim, and Connor were fighting in the other world .

Secondly,the part where Cissie tells Cass that she's obsessed with the boys and has no life of her own, it was not only mean, but also WAY too candid! Why? Because Cassie's mirror world is projecting her OWN self criticisms!

And FINALLY how Cass couldn't find ANYONE to help her in the beginning,even having to BEG Cissie to help. Cissie may have rejected the life, but Young Justice were her friends and she wouldn't not help if they REALLY needed her.

Either THAT or it's a bad story that mischaracterized ALL of Young Justice, BUT I'm hopeful for right now!

Final reason I hope Cass is in an other world is that Cissie introduced a friend who was non-binary... and said friend had NO speaking roles,nor ANY role in the story. Really hoping that was a subtle meta joke about diversity trophies in media, otherwise it's just a straight up diversity trophy.

tim— mostly headcanon him as a trans guy and use he/him but depending on my mood also headcanon her as a trans woman and use she/her

kon— i mostly use she/her for her honestly, i just think being a trans woman could really make sense with her story and character development, also i do like the non-binary headcanons though so i sometimes go for they/them

cassie— butch lesbian who uses both she and he because i think she deserves to get her butchness back

bart— not really my own headcanon but i once read a fic which used sie/hir for hir and it kind of stuck in my head, i definitely think sie's genderqueer in some way but i don't think sie'd define it

Okay so I can really relate to Sam in a LOT of ways. I was 10000% the weird Emo kid growing up (still Emo now as an adult lmao I mean I have a rainbow mullet 😂) but I was also raised with a lot of expectations thrown on me to be the perfect daughter. My mom was a pastor and so was my grandpa and it was expected that I would be one too. I was meant to be this sweet little Christian girl who would settle down and get married to a man and have 2.5 kids and go to church every Sunday. So basically similar to what Pam wanted from Sam lol.

Instead I’m an emo bisexual non binary person who works in criminal justice reform, rocking a rainbow mullet, with a shit ton of tattoos and piercings.

I related a LOT to Sam growing up and had thankfully found my own Danny and Tucker (and Val) in high school, one was a video game loving dork one was obsessed with DND and the other was into the same scene that I was. We were considered our own little geek squad in high school and I loved them a lot. We don’t talk as much anymore due to our lives being super different from one another but they were 100% the reason I survived high school. We were our own little weirdo group that no one really understood. (Also my graduating class was like 70 people so everyone knew everyone and you know how mean teenagers are lmao)

So definitely Sam, Tuck, and Danny is the friend group I relate to the most. And yes I absolutely was the Sam of our group. I’ll have to find some old cringy pictures of me in my high school Emo phase and show you one day Ash. They’re hilarious 😂

okay so uhhhhhh theory (??) for your too many thads fic (which is very cool so far by the way holy shit)

I think the character tree has a lot of significance it's almost definitely true that the "connections" between hexes in the circuit patterns are relations first two (one of which is definitely bart but idk the other, maybe pres. Thawne?) are connected to 2, 3, 4 3 is connected to 5, 6, he cloned them 7 connects back to 6, and 8+9 have connections to no other clone but instead to the bottom of the image (indicating CRAYDL)

but then after that I start wondering if there are other meanings also so here's a list of potential theories (some of which contradict each other) that make me sound like the charlie day conspiracy board meme - solid vs open dots indicate who's going to die and who's not (possible support: 4, 9, 7 (?) all have odd number of solid dots) - actually the death indicator is the placement: the ones who have connectors that seem to go straight off to the side (9, 7, 6, 5, 4) will die - number of connections mean something - solid vs open dots mean something in general (binary???) - direction (vaguely who the non-touching connectors point at) means something - double connectors (like the ones going left off 7) vs single connectors (like the one going left off 5) mean something

of course it could also just be "it looks cool" which if so Extremely Fair They Do Look Very Cool but overthinking is fun so uhhhhhhh here you go LOL

There are two random headcanons I have for Tim

#1. I don't feel like they are attached to any set of pronouns, you could use He, she, they, or any neo pronouns, when talking to or about her and she simply will not care, if someone ask about his gender or pronouns they will get a shrug in return, gender is a social construct anyway.

This is a conversation between Tim and Dick

Dick: Hey, Tim, sorry I haven't asked sooner, but what are your pronouns?

Tim: *Doesn't stop texting Bart and gives a half shrug*

Dick: ... What does that mean? Are you still figuring it out??

Tim: Eh *still doesn't look up from phone*

Dick: Eh????? Timothy, my sibling in Christ, can you just give me a clear answer!?

Tim: *Sighs heavily, finally looking up* Use any pronouns, I don't care. I'm not really attached to any. Use He, She, They, Ze, any.

Dick: ... So what gender do you identify with, non-binary, gender fluid, a void?

#2. He's asexual. He's not sex repulsed, but he has zero desire for sex, doesn't want sex, doesn't need sex, doesn't even think about sex unless he has to, not like on purpose it's just not something that occupies his thoughts.

Thad rarely thinks of himself as queer because he was designed to be a copy of Bart, so of course he shares some inherent things like assigned sex, gender and orientation (this isn't how it works at all, Thad was fed a lot of bs) so it isn't 'queer', it's perfectly expected but unrelevent to him being a weapon for President Thawne.

But the thing is, he isn't just a copy of Bart, in truth they're a non-binary individual (he/they), and somewhere on the aroace spectrum (I lean towards grey for both).

So as Thad starts to see himself more as their own person, they have to actually deal with things like coming out, of having a idenity, and one that is oppressed at that, I would say on routes where Thad is healing he is out and proud, and in ones where he isn't he is being quiet.

I’m not saying people don’t unjustly dislike Enkidu, but imo there’s a reason they typically only have the effeminate/nonbinary men have explicitly homosexual scenes. Like, they’ll almost never have Fergus or Black Bart be bisexual without it being the punchline of a joke for example.

explicitly homosexual is a strong choice of words here. personally, i think a lot of story elements in fate stories that you might be referring to, are not explicitly romantic or sexual and are left up to interpretation (ie gilgamesh & enkidu or sieg & astolfo).

but it is true that male sexuality in FGO servants exists mostly as a joke which isn't great. but i don't think there's a vast difference between how the non-binary/gnc (but read as men) characters are treated (outside of v-day scenes where they're taken a tad more seriously) in these stories simply because the sexuality doesn't come up for characters unless it is a joke.
