I remember discovering the fire of Notre Dame on tumblr, so I'm very sorry to inform everyone that the Danish Stock Exchange in Copenhagen, completed in 1625, is burning. Its unique spire has fallen, and as the building is, to a larger degree than Notre Dame, made of wood, mortar, and stucco, there may be very real structural damage. As you can see from the image, they were in the process of restoring it, just as it was the case with the church. Very real reconsideration should be done to how we restore very old buildings if we keep setting them on fire during the work.

People off the street have been seen running into the building and bringing out historical art pieces, primarily paintings. If you are close by, DO NOT do this! I know it appears the heroic thing to do, but no human life is worth the risk to save a painting, no matter how significant.

It's come up before! But if no one feels like they could do him well, or run him on top of other blogs they may have, then that's simply the way it is.

Sorry for the long ask, i just found some tweets from vancon and got upset by what Jensen said and couldn’t find the full quote and was asking for it. I already found it. I hope the ask wasn’t too nonsensical I was going off of paraphrased twitter quotes – feel free to ignore this

Nono, apology accepted and also something I'm willing to respond to.

But there's a reason i've had to draw a hard line about what I will and won't post, especially when there's a lot of erroneous assertions involved, which leads to projections, and when big thunkmesses get aired people get confused.

But then I put up the electric fence, you bounce off, you find it, you look at the two things in context and realize. Yeah. It was a whole big thing about nothing, that might have confused other people.

So it's just a general lesson to remember--if asking, don't assert what you think it sounds like or attached accusations when you also admit you don't know the full context, because it adds to distribution of misinformation. And it often starts at things people with agendas started whistling about a ways back.

I encourage you to continue to have these moments, to take these times to go "woah, wait a tick, what else has been spun out like this", keep poking at those inconsistencies and realize how manipulated this fandom's noise is, like I've been talking about, and gesturing at the ongoing domino of results.

So honestly. Thank you for this followup, even if I bit back about the first ...nonask.

Fun fact that, in Denmark, the National Museum has put together a reference collection of LARP (Live Action Role Playing) coins, because archaeologists started finding them in digs and got really confused!

One campaign, Legendernes Verden (World of Legends), minted 10.000 of their tin coins for a one-week LARP, and since they, and most other home-minted LARP coinage, use old Danish coinage terms on their creations, the confusion is both understandable and hilariously complete.

Here's an example:

Those in the know would immediately recognise the inscription "Narabond" as a location withing the fictional Danish LARP world 'Niraham'. Those not in the know would be endlessly puzzled, as it looks perfectly reasonable for, for example, a medieval coin.

Bakugo-I feel like this can go two ways, all depending on his literal mood. He can be the one who waits for you to fall asleep or the one who forces you to fall asleep.

Did you think that if you turned away from him that he would believe that your actually sleeping? Yeah no he can hear you phone and he knows that when you sleep over his house your always clingy to him, if he likes it or not.

“ y/n, it’s three in the fucking morning. Go. To. Sleep.” He wasn’t having it, the time was WAY passed eight and he had training to do. He’s two seconds away from taking your phone and hiding it- he’s done it before.

Tomura- hell he’s up with you, you can’t sleep than he’s up. A lot of things go down while you two are up. He gets his hoodie and hides half his face and walks to the store with you.

He does stand out side while you buy everything just so he won’t catch an attitude and kill the worker-it’s happened before.

He’lol let you sit in his lap while he plays on his computer, your like a little kitten who falls asleep once they have a comfortable spot in their masters lap.

He literally knew you’d fall asleep once you sat on his lap which is comforting because it lets him know how relaxed you are with him.

Denki- he can’t take it anymore, he needs a full night of sleep to be full of energy, get it? Because he- I’ll stop.

Anyways he kinda feels bad each time he falls asleep first and leaves you there to be lonely, so he made it a thing where if you can’t sleep than he’s up but it’s getting out of hand , he hasn’t slept in days YOU HAVENT SLEPT IN DAYS. He’ll try his hardest to get you comfortable and sleeping close to him.
