What is this?

On this blog, shamelessly inspired by @sexymanotd (aren't we all), we'll be running two gauntlets: first to find tumblr's favourite Murderboy, then to find tumblr's favourite Murderwife.

(And if people can suggest three or more of them, I may do a bonus round to find tumblr's top Murderenby.)

Until we officially start, please send asks and messages (or reply to this post if you're lazy) with any Murderboys or Murderwives you think simply MUST be included.

Some definitions:

Just vibes innit <3

To be either a murderboy or a murderwife the character in question must have either committed murder, committed attempted murder, or otherwise directly or indirectly caused a significant amount of death (i.e. by starting a war, doing a war crime, or severe reckless endangerment)

The fandom they come from must be incredibly Not Normal about them (i.e. endless fandom discourse, some fans declaring they did nothing wrong ever while other fans deem them the literal devil, people just being really really intense about their feelings about them, you know the kind of thing)

Murderboys are typically defined by a kind of patheticness and dampness while Murderwives are typically defined by shamelessness and girlbossery, but there's a fair amount of wiggle room there, these factors aren't necessary if they fit the bill really strongly in other ways
