plumpish    features    were    greeted    with    the    FRIGID    GUSH    of    autumn’s    breeze    the    moment    she    had    stepped    foot    outside    of    her    school.    underneath    the    shelter    of    her    thin    jacket    ,    REGRET    began    to    gnaw    at    her    core.    she    really    just    HAD    TO    leave    her    thick    coat    at    home    ,    huh    ?    today    of    all    days    too    !    thank    goodness    her    scarf    didn’t    meet    the    same    fate.    wrapped    around    her    neck    ,    it    stayed    ;    only    lightly    loosening    up    when    rose-hued    cheeks    suddenly    buried    themselves    deeper    into    it    ,    as    the    girl    DESPERATELY    BASKED    in    the    warmth    it    provided.    

as    per    the    usual    routine    ,    she    was    about    to    head    home    alone    when    she    suddenly    saw    the    familiar    figure    of    an    ashen-haired    teen    standing    just    right    outside    the    gates.    ❛    osamu-nii    !    ❜    SURPRISE    and    DELIGHT    ,    all    mixed    into    one    BURST    OF    ENERGY    ,    suddenly    prompted    sunshine-colored    sneakers    to    zoom    towards    the    older    ,    only    halting    when    they    were    right    in    front    of    him.    it    wasn’t    the    usual    that    her    big    brother    would    come    and    pick    her    up    BUT    NONETHELESS    ,    the    younger    was    genuinely    happy    to    see    him.

The sweets were to make up for snapping at the young blocker the previous day for a simple game-play mistake; she’d felt awful afterwards and scoured around the shops until she found something that she thought Asimina might like.

“Yes, yes. I’m good” the freckled student slowly get back on his feet brushing the dust of his uniform. Certainly not the first time he was more or less run over. Did he get an apology? No, not really. He was a plain and shy guy who doesn’t really speak up.

He stuck more out being Tsukishima’s friend really. Otherwise, people don’t pay much not of a guy like him. Maybe that will change eventually being part of the volleyball team but he doubt it.

             when victor finally noticed someone else in the ice rink (  having been completely absorbed in himself as he had moved along the ice. not training for any program just endlessly wandering letting his mind go completely empty as he let instincts take him. ) victor couldn’t tell how long the person had entered the room or even how long he had been there himself. 

        “ oh ?  - hello, i didn’t see your there ! “ the clear surprise in his face was quickly replaced by a friendly smile. having not expected many other people around here this time. he hadn’t been ready after landing a quadruple flip to be staring right at someone.

◘ Sarukui is the first teammate to see Akaashi as another player in the team. When everyone else sees Akaashi as a reliable setter, Sarukui would be the first to notice whenever Akaashi is in a pensive state. He’d also give feedback on what Akaashi should improve upon especially with how he liked his tosses, something that other teammates hadn’t done so far from finding Akaashi as a reliable setter from the get-go.

◘ Sarukui can tell what Akaashi is thinking and or/feeling most of the time. He’d always be the person to point out practical things, like telling Bokuto about Akaashi’s compliments during one of their Nationals matches, and also being the one to tell that Akaashi is overthinking before their match against Mujinazaka even started. On the other hand, Akaashi doesn’t even know he can be that much of an open book to someone else.

◘ Like any other senior in the team, Akaashi has deep respect and admiration for Sarukui. And because Fukuroudani is a team where everyone treats each other as equals and friends, banters between them are also common. Maybe it’s because the seniors have spoiled Akaashi, but Sarukui especially doesn’t mind since he wants Akaashi to be comfortable in the team knowing the other’s peculiar nature.

◘ Alongside Konoha, Sarukui helped Akaashi adjust to the team easily by explaining each of the players’ quirks and strong points… And some weak points too as they thought that would be helpful for their future regular setter.
