I'd imagine they'd be still too weak/young to fly let alone shapeshift so they're housebound, zhongli and you have to take turns watching them and going out to do stuff. Also since they're dragons/reptiles they wouldn't need milk?? rather probably just smol pieces of meat or like soft food aaaaaaaaaaaa too cute imagine feeding them with a spoon carefully.

Until they start teething that it, then they become lil menaces, biting everything on sight including each other when play fighting and/or their father (lmao) Zhongli would make small crystals they can bite into instead of destroying everything 💕

assertive to an extent (which is a lot in his case.) leona has a knack for pulling you over by your arm, a case is when some fearless students decides it was a good time to insult you right in his face and he raises a brow, then pulls you behind him? just quietly stares down the person cause he's not gonna exert more effort than that unless they got some sort of nerve of steel. he tends to take charge, a bad habit you suppose. what he wants is what he gets apparently.

if you catch his eye he always grins at you. maybe a smile would've been endearing but it's ruggie, his trademark grin is practically the smile of someone like him. across the cafeteria when you're on your way to a table? you see ruggie and he waves at you with a little imp of a grin. just peacefully passing by the hallway on your way to your class? oh. there he is, getting chased by people again. he just passes by and even spades you another grin, multitude of yells following behind him. 'meet me later' is shouted by him after.

jack hugs like a bear. he looks like he gives the warmest hugs, the one where you'll just be engulfed in his ginormous flesh of his arms and turn into putty. if you ever catch yourself in one, well. you'll be wishing you had a fluffy bed and a pair of equally fluffy pillows alongside in it. it's easy to fluster him whether you like it or not by bounding up to the guy, raising his arms to go around your body and melt. cause he will notice and forget he can't control the emotions of his tail.

There's a lot of validity in the idea that older Bakugo is a traumatized pro-hero with major PTSD... but you know what's kinda fucked up to think about? The fact that Bakugo is also a 22-year-old pro-hero with major PTSD even before that, too.

It's almost easy to imagine that things are actually better when he's older (the therapy finally a routine, the trauma long set and on the path to being healed)... and that it's his whole 20s that are spent as a pool of disaster trying to recover from the war(s).

He looks back and barely even remembers being twenty, much less twenty-five or twenty-seven. Barely remembers how little he slept, not at the hands of trying to balance hero work and getting a degree at the same time, but just out of the pure insomnia that came from trying to move on and every nightmare attached.

Hardly ever showering, never shaving (not that he ever grew much of a beard, but the facial hair was definitely there. There's pictures of him on the news with an awkward, grown out haircut and patches on facial hair that make him look positively... immature), barely even eating more than a few protein bars or an energy jelly drink-a day. It's a blur, and his friends are hardly there to pick him up out of it because they're all going through it, too. Somewhat.

It's definitely weird if you meet him during this period. He's not all there, at least, not all of the time. He doesn't really register your interactions, the friendship you extend to him (a younger, or ever older, version of him would've shown you that deep seeded ferocity in response, tried to bite the hand that fed him, even if it were love... but 20s Bakugo... doesn't seem to notice). Even though only one of his eyes is clouded over, the good one never seems to brighten up.

There's definitely moments when the old him shines through: when he's with Deku, when he's in the midst of battle, when he finds out that Todoroki still does a shitty job at chopping scallions. But it's a long time before he's even close to the same, able to step out from underneath the fog of simply surviving and into the sunshine of recovering.

But I think sticking through it with him is worth it.

(It's a weird moment, a happy moment, the first time you realize that Bakugo has changed. That the pouring rain outside hasn't bothered him since he showed up at your apartment. He forgot his umbrella, he's been quite careless ever since the war—wet and shaggy hair frizzed up, cheeks red from cold—but he doesn't seem to mind, with his bare feet up on your coffee table, his eyes gazing out the window. You hand his tea, and instead of gulping it down in one go, letting it burn in his throat, he winces at the heat.

"Tastes like shit," he says, and you laugh because it always does. Just this time, he noticed.)

i like that they changed where the infected grains were coming from in the show, to be honest. it felt really era appropriate for 2003, especially with Joel confused and asking if it was apart of the Middle East and Tommy saying he thinks it's apart of Asia but definitely a country. it makes sense that they asked those very few questions and were focused on the whereabouts of the location while tuning the rest of the report out.

at the time of the start of the show, the United States had been in Afghanistan since 2001 and the Invasion of Iraq had taken place six months prior to the report being made. there was a lot of confusion surrounding any reports coming from the Eastern Hemisphere simply due to all the military actions taking place, lack of actual information being accessible to the American people, and a general apathy starting to settle in regarding the operations and the ever-waning trust in government officials.

Joel being a busy, single father would especially make him tune a lot out because he's only focused on making sure his girl has what she needs to live her best life. Tommy's comment about him thinking it being in Asia makes sense as well because he's a combat vet who was involved in Operation Desert Storm, which took place in the Middle East, so he'd more likely recognize if a city/country being reported on was Middle Eastern.

whereas, if they kept the detail of the infected grains coming from South and Central America, they'd be more likely to pay active attention to that report because that report is regarding something closer to home and it was different than what was playing on the news pretty much 24/7 as the 24 hour news cycle was really starting to come to life during this time too.

furthermore, Sarah asking if it was terrorists was a really great detail because i remember there being a huge fear about biological weapons being used due to the anthrax mail and the heightened level of security regarding bombings.

tl;dr: something different would've made their ears perk up a little bit but because the show is set in 2003, their apathy to the global situation already taking place made them tune out the reports.

Little Baby Man Disease

Based on this post.

TLDR at the bottom.

So, Danny ends up turning into Little Baby Man(TM). Except it turns out that becoming this incredibly small and feral version of his ghost form is actually because of what amounts to Ghost Rabies.

Dani/Ellie ends up finding Little Baby Danny and brings him to the rest of Team Phantom. Only, once she's done explaining how she found him, he bites her, and she turns into Little Baby Ellie.

As Team Phantom is freaking out, another ghost attacks, only for the two feral Phantoms to immediately bite them, causing them to also turn into a Little Baby Man/Woman version of themselves.

The Team believes for a bit that it just affects Ghosts and do their best to keep the steadily growing number of Little Baby Men from going out of control while they try to figure out a cure. Only Sam and Tucker get bitten. Cue the two turning into Little Baby Men (Tucker looks like a Pharaoh and Sam looks like when Overgrowth controlled her). It turns out that Ghost Rabies can also affect people who are Ecto-contaminated.

Cue Jazz having to avoid an army of feral ghosts in order to get a message to Frostbite so he and the rest of the Far Frozen can work on a cure. She manages to get a message out before eventually falling victim to the disease as well.

Do they eventually make a cure? Yes, but not without a lot of chaos in both the Zone and Amity Park as the Little Baby Man Army grows everyday.

TL:DR: Little Baby Man is born from Ghost Rabies. Ghosts and Ecto-contaminated people turn into a feral army.

So this is tricky, because most work is tied up in the fact that almost all of us are required to work in order to survive, which is a crushing not-hopepunk concept. It makes it difficult to think of any career as hopepunk, since all carry that threat of destitution.

I think if the work is fulfilling to you as an individual, and it doesn't result in net harm for the world, it's hopepunk. But not until we remove that threat of poverty and render the net harmful careers obsolete.
