Ironwood: Court is now in session. Will the defendant please take the stand?
Ruby: (Whispering) Don't worry. Whatever strategy Weiss uses, we're ready for.
Nora: (Whispering) Got it. (Takes the stand)
Weiss: (Smirks)
Weiss: Truth... or Dare?
Nora: Uh...
Ruby: (Shrugs)
Nora: Truth?
Weiss: Did you... kill a guy with a hammer?
Nora: (Whimpers, Everyone stares at her) Uh... I'd like to change my answer to dare, please?
Ironwood: I'll allow it.
Weiss: Hm... I dare you... to kill the judge with a hammer.
Nora: (Gulps, Tapped on her shoulder) Huh?
Ironwood: (Hands his gavel, Solemnly nods)
Nora: (Takes gavel, Raises high)
Nora was acquitted of all charges because Ironwood died. Ruby was promoted to district attorney. Weiss went on to win the national Truth or Dare Championship. Ironwood is still dead.

RWBY/Swords of Fate: Arc Kingdom
Chapter 1 - The Omen
Fairy tales. Myths. Legends. Stories with dashing heroes and sinister villains. Many of these tales share a common source and many diverge from their original tellings. No two versions of one story are ever exactly the same. They evolve, shift and adapt. This is one such a story. In two worlds of aura and magic, there was a young man who desired fo cherish and protect. He never imagined that he would be the one to pull the legendary sword from the stone. With that simple choice, he carved a new path for himself; the path of a hero and the path of a king. And so begins the story of the Arc Kingdom.
—1st June 734 AGW, Remnant - Kingdom of Atlas, Solitas—
Jaune and his team threw off their thick coats as soon as they entered Atlas Academy. Even in the summer, the bitter cold of Solitas still packed a punch. The heat from the generators hit them like a truck. Team JNPR all hummed delightfully as they welcomed the warmth.
Jaune: Woah man!! That's muuuuch better!
Nora: Ahhhhhh!!! It's good to be out of the cold.
Pyrrha: Oh my. *looks around* this place is magnificent!
Ren: *nods* It is remarkable indeed.
The inside of the building had royal blue marble floors, with ivory white walls, pictures of the various locations of Solitas and the alumni of Atlas Academy Huntsmen and Huntresses. Walking down the corridor was the headmaster of the school, General James Ironwood, sporting a five o'clock shadow. Accompanying him were two new faces. One of them was a young man with auburn hair, green eyes and who wore a white coat over an emerald green suit. Next to him was another man with long, white hair, light purple eyes, wearing dark purple suit.
James: Team JNPR, welcome to Atlas Academy. *smiles* It's great to see you again after so long.
Pyrrha: It's great to see you too, Headmaster Ironwood. Are you enjoying your summer break?
James: *chuckles* As much as I'd like to, I unfortunately can't. There's always work to be done if we want to stop the threat of the grimm.
Ren: Evil truly never sleeps, huh?
James: And neither do huntsmen and huntresses.
Jaune: *raises hand* Um, Headmaster? Who are your friends with you?
Dr. Roman: Oh sorry about that, *chuckles* I was waiting for Jimmy here to introduce us. I'm Dr. Romani Archaman, from Vacuo. Most of the students here just call me Dr. Roman. It's very nice to meet you.
Nora: Hi there, doc!
Dr. Merlin: And you may call me Dr. Merlin. I'm an old friend of Ozpin's. It's a pleasure to meet you all.
Pyrrha: Very nice to meet you too. *smiles*
Dr. Roman: James has told us so much about you and Team RWBY. I heard that you all managed to fight back against a grimm invasion in Beacon. That's insane!
Jaune: *chuckles* Well, that's a little exaggerated-
Dr. Roman: Not at all! For first year students to fight back, let alone survive is a fantastic achievement! You should all be proud of yourselves!
Ren: *shakes head* We were just doing our jobs as huntsmen and huntresses. Making sure everyone got out of there alive.
James: And it was thanks you, RWBY, SSSN, ARBN and the other students from all the academies that countless lives were saved that day. It's no small achievement, it was heroic. For that, I thank you. *bows*
Jaune: Well... uh... we're always ready to help out when needed.
James: I'm glad to hear that, because it's time I showed you what I, Roman and Merlin have been working on. Come with me.
Team JNPR followed James and the two doctors down the corridor. They approached the elevator and entered inside. Team JNPR noticed that below the buttons to all the floors was a keyhole. From his pocket, James took out a key and placed it in the keyhole, twisting it. The elevator started to go down and Nora's eyes sparkled with excitement.
Nora: Are we going to a secret basement?
Dr. Merlin: *chuckles* Something like that.
The further they went, the more ominous it felt. Pyrrha felt her skin crawl. She was reminded of what happened one year ago when she was led underground back at Beacon.
Jaune: *holds Pyrrha's hand* Are you okay?
Pyrrha: *shakes head* Not really. But thanks, Jaune. *smiles*
The elevator finally stopped and the door opened. As they stepped out, what they saw was almost otherworldly. The room was lit by a brillaint blue light. At the center was a large, blue holographic sphere floating above them. Surrounding it were several silver pillars. Team JNPR were in awe.
James: Team JNPR, I give you Project Arcadia.
Nora slowly walked ahead of her team and gazed at the sphere. She noticed something oddly familiar about it. There were shapes that looked just like the landmasses she saw on the maps of Remnant.
Nora: Is that Sanus? Anima? Menagerie? Solitas?
Dr. Roman: To answer all of that, yes. You're looking at Remnant.
Dr. Merlin: Though to be more accurate, it's a Remnant. But not your Remnant.
Nora: Wait what?
Pyrrha: I'm sorry?
James: What you're looking at here is another Remnant, one of many.
Jaune: One of many? As in like a multiverse?
James: Precisely.
Ren: Why would you have a projection of another Remnant down here? What's going on?
Dr. Merlin: *raises hand* I believe I can explain that. A few months ago, I had a vision of a great disaster that would befall the other Remnant. *deep sigh* Ozpin was dead... and the Kingdom of Vale had fallen. Nothing leff but ruins and scorched earth.
Team JNPR: What?!
Dr. Merlin: Yes, dead. At the hands of the dark witch, Salem. I believe you've heard of her?
Jaune: We've heard of her alright. She's an old enemy of Ozpin's. Ever since he's told us about the history between them, he's been training us to fight her.
Dr. Merlin: That's Ozpin for you. He's made the right decision.
Nora: O-Ozpin's gonna die? And Vale will... burn?
Dr. Merlin: That might be what the vision showed me, but I'm determined to avoid that fate as much as possible. This is where you four come in.
James: When Merlin told me of his vision, he mentioned that Salem gathered a group of rogue mages. Their magic was enhanced by a special Relic, of sorts; The Holy Grail.
Team JNPR: *eyes wide*
Dr. Roman: According to Merlin, this Relic is supposed to grant miracles. Perform feats of magic unattainable even for the most powerful mage. But if his vision comes true, that means Salem would get her hands on it.
Dr. Merlin: One way to avert this disaster would be to destroy the Grail. If that happens, Salem would be weakened. She could still be a formidable threat, but not enough to be invincible.
Pyrrha: Hold on... you want us to stop her, don't you?
Dr. Merlin: I'm afraid so. This is what Project Arcadia is; a form of multiverse travel.
James: *points to pillars* These are known as Coffins. Merlin and I were able to combine science and magic and use it for a new form of technology called Rayshifting. It transforms your body, breaking it down into its soul form, known as a Spritron. Once that's completed, you are then transferred into the universe. Or at least, that's how it's supposed to work.
Dr. Merlin: As this is a prototype, we cannot physically send you to this alternate Remnant. Instead, we can send your conciousness into the body of your alternate self.
Team JNPR couldn't believe what they were hearing. This wasn't an ordinary mission. Jaune was trembling.
Jaune: Wait a second... I don't get it. Why do you need us to help you with this mission? What's so special about us?
Dr. Merlin: Those are fair questions, my boy. In the vision, Ozpin was surrounded by the bodies of knights. Among those were you, your Team and Team RWBY. Clearly, he sees great potential in all of you. Why else would he train you to fight Salem? Or choose one of you to be the host of the Fall Maiden?
Pyrrha: How did you-?
Dr. Merlin: Nothing gets past me, Miss Nikos. *smirks*
Jaune: *slowly backs away*
Pyrrha: Jaune!
Nora: Woah there! *gently grabs him*
Ren: Do you mind if we think about this for a moment?
Dr. Roman: Of course. We understand that we're asking a lot from you. Take one of the vacant dorms and rest up for the night.
Pyrrha: Thank you, Dr. Roman. Come on, let's go.
[Atlas Dorm]
Jaune sat on his bed and stared at the ceiling. The more he stared, the more he could feel an overbearing weight on his chest. Beside him sat his friends, unsure of what to do.
Pyrrha: Is everything alright, Jaune?
Jaune: *turns to Pyrrha and sighs* I dunno, Pyrrha. I just... this is a lot to take in. I mean, we're talking about a multiverse here! On top of that, they want us to go inside... ourselves to prevent Vale's destruction? That's a lot of pressure!
Nora: You're telling me. I mean, they expect us to just drop everything and say 'yes' to this? We're dealing with unfamiliar technology here. What if something goes wrong?
Pyrrha: These are friends of Headmaster Ironwood. Ozpin seems to have put a lot of faith in them. If he trusts them, then so do I.
Ren: Just because Ozpin trusts them, that doesn't necessarily mean we should. Something about Merlin doesn't seem right. For all we know, he could be lying.
Pyrrha: Ren, you're being ridiculous.
Ren: Am I? I don't think it's wise to just take what Merlin is saying at face-value. The fact that they want us for this mission and not have Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang or anyone else join us is pretty suspicious if you ask me.
Pyrrha: Look, I'm not saying that it isn't weird or that we shouldn't be cautious. I agree that something doesn't feel right. But think about it for a moment, what would Merlin have to gain from lying to us? And why would Headmaster Ironwood, a friend of Ozpin's, want to go along with it?
Nora: Agh! This is making me my head spin! Jaune, what do you think we should do?
Jaune: ...I need some air. *promptly leaves the room*
Jaune slid down the wall in complete exhaustion. He felt like he was letting his team down. He was the leader and he knew that they were counting on him to make a decision right now. But he was struggling. No matter how many times Jaune thought about it, there wasn't an easy answer to this. He reached into his pocket and took out his scrollphone. He dialed the number of the one person who understood the most; Ruby. Facing the camera, he waited until he saw her face. He felt a wave of relief upon seeing her again.
Ruby: Hey there, Jaune! How's Atlas?
Jaune: Hi Ruby. Uh, yeah... it's... okay.
Ruby: *frowns* What's wrong?
Jaune: *sighs* It's kind of a long story.
Jaune explained to Ruby about the dire situation he and his Team were in. His fingers were trembling so much that he nearly dropped the scrollphone.
Ruby: Hm. That's pretty rough. Do you think you can trust this Merlin guy?
Jaune: I'm not sure. I mean, if this other Remnant's survival hinges on us, shouldn't we go and help it?
Ruby: Well... what does your heart say?
Jaune: *small, nervous chuckle* It says I should go. I've always wanted to help others and protect those who need it. Even if that Remnant isn't my own, I should go and protect everyone there. Heroes go and fight the battles make sure we all live a better tomorrow, right?
Ruby: *giggles* Well if that's what you feel, then you have your answer. Good luck, Jaune and tell the others that too.
Jaune: Thanks Ruby. You're the best.
Ruby: *shakes head* No, you're the best. Make sure you come back in one piece, we still need to hang out at the Sweet Shack. *giggles*
Jaune: You can count on that, no problem. See you, Ruby.
Ruby: See you, Jaune.
Jaune hung up the scrollphone and held it close to his chest. Seeing Ruby made his heart flutter. He put his scrollphone away and opened the door to come back inside, only to see Nora, Ren and Pyrrha tumbling onto the floor.
Jaune: What the?! Were you guys evesdropping?
Nora/Pyrrha: ...no?
Jaune: Even you, Ren?
Ren: ...I got curious.
Jaune: *shakes head* Never mind. Look, I think we should help out Merlin and Ironwood. We all signed on to be huntsmen and huntresses. That means we do everything we can to save people from grimm and other evils. It'd be pretty irresponsible to just back out.
Pyrrha: That's a very mature decision, Jaune. I'm with you.
Nora: You can count me in too. If we can handle an invasion in our world, then a witch from another world is no problem at all.
Jaune: Ren?
Ren: I still think something's off about this... but if you feel it's the right thing to do, then I'm with you all the way.
Jaune: Thanks guys. *smiles* Now come on, we've got a cup to destroy!

Spider Knight 8: Mad doctor.
Dr Otto Octavius was working in his laboratory and supervising the rookie scientists who were taking care of the construction of new Atlesian Knight-200 until a familiar figure entered the laboratory and Otto went to the figure that would be General Ironwood.
Otto octavius: Good morning general ironwood what is the reason for your visit so suddenly here in the laboratory?
Ironwood: Otto do you have a minute? I have to talk to you, it's something very serious.
Otto octavius: Of course sir if something this serious I have enough free time. Folks I'm going to have to go out and talk to general ironwood but keep up the good work you all are doing!
Otto left the laboratory with ironwood and they would be in the corridor ironwood sighed and looked at otto's face who had an anxious expression but would be slightly serious.
Ironwood: Look, Otto, I apologize but for the news that happened in Vale, what Jacques told me that the machines you created were stolen and used by criminals made the council worried. So they are sending you to connors lab to avoid any suspicious use. I'm sorry old friend I hope you understand.
Otto heard that and he would have a slight expression of anger but he would take a deep breath and then he would look at the face of ironwood with a smile on his face.
Otto octavius: No problem general and I am happy to know that I will be working where my dear co-worker and friend Dr Connors worked. And also if the schnee company continues to help me in my projects with their materials I will be able to work on my biggest project!
Ironwood: What project are you talking about?
Otto octavius: I'm creating a machine that can create a controlled nuclear fusion something that can be an infinite source of energy that we can use to unify all kingdoms and avoid any war!
Ironwood: I hope your project works otto you have my support.
Ironwood would pat Otto on the back and walk out of the inn. Otto would enter the laboratory and tell the news to his co-workers and go to his room arranging the equipment that he would take to Vale until a figure stood at the door of Otto's office.
Arthur watts: I see you're going on a long trip to work my old friend.
Otto octavius: It's not a big deal, I'm just traveling to continue my work and avoid having our work stolen.
Arthur watts: It's going to be boring without you here haha.
Arthur would enter the room and extend his hand to Otto who would shake it soon after Otto would leave the room with some boxes and while he didn't realize Arthur would put a small drone in the mechanical arms that would install a virus in the arms.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jaune and his team were training for the vytal festival until jaune's scroll vibrated causing him to be distracted and being hit by a kick from ren.
Ren: Sorry jaune I didn't mean to hit you so hard.
Jaune : It's not your fault ren, it's okay, I just lost focus
Ren approaches jaune extending his hand to help him up. Nora and pyrrha who were training next to them approach the rest of their team.
Pyrrha: Jaune, we already talked about no scroll on while we train, you could have been seriously hurt if it weren't for ren
Jaune: Sorry guys, I'm very excited, a scientist I like is going to present his work here at Dr Connors' laboratory!
Nora: Wow jauney didn't know you liked this science stuff.
Jaune: A-ah i just think it's a cool hobby hehe.
Pyrrha: Well if you want we can take a break there when you get back from the presentation we can go back to training what do you think guys?
They agree and jane would give each one a hug and run to the presentation in connors lab. Jaune was looking around and saw Otto stopping looking at the machine that was in its final touches and he approached the doctor.
Otto octavius: It's almost complete but I feel something is missing…
Jaune: Maybe you can use some material that you can mold and count the energy that the machine can release to avoid any risk.
Otto listened to jaune's idea and would look to the side seeing the boy analyzed by the machine, which would make the doctor have a smile on his face.
Otto octavius: Looks like someone's been doing homework.
Jaune heard what Otto had heard and turned to him and held out his hand with a big smile on his face and Otto would shake it right away.
Jaune: My name is jaune arc and I'm a big fan of your work sir Otto Octavius!
Otto octavius: It's good to see young people like you taking an interest in science.
Jaune would smile at the comment and would look around and see Atlesian Knight-200 loading boxes and building the machine which would make him look slightly worried looking back at Otto.
Jaune: Mister otto why are you using robots instead of your private team?
Otto octavius: Well boy sometimes you have to replace people who don't believe or have no hope in what you're doing.
Jaune: But Mr. Otto, sometimes it's always good to have someone on your side to always review your mistakes and help you correct them.
Otto octavius: Hm thanks for the advice kid but let me know when it actually works.
Otto would do that with a light tone of anger, Jaune noticing this would leave the area and go to where the visitors were and ends up accidentally bumping into Weiss who was surprised to see Jaune in that place.
Weiss: Jaune?! What did you come here to do in the laboratory?
Jaune: I just came to see the presentation...?
Weiss: Hmph I hope this is the reason and not one of your attempts to ask me out on a date.
Jaune: I'm not going to bother you like I used to, I just want to enjoy this presentation, sorry hehe.
Jaune sits on the bleachers and looks to the side and notices Weiss sitting on his side and the two look to the center of the room where Otto was putting his robotic arms and turning on the machine.
Otto octavius: I want to thank the schnee company for providing materials for me to present to everyone a new source of energy. it's like having the power of the sun in the palm of my hands.
People clapped for otto seeing that the machine worked seeing the golden sphere in the center of the machine producing energy. Arthur, who was hidden in the middle of the audience; Would turn on his scroll and activate two viruses, one that would make the machine lose control, releasing energy and destroying a little of the laboratory. The second virus was ''O-1963'', which would make Otto more aggressive.
Otto octavius: Don't be afraid and just a slight energy leak will still be enough to contain.
The sphere was losing control and beams of energy coming out breaking the laboratory but Weiss would use her weapon and make ice constructs to protect the people who were fleeing.
Jaune: Weiss I'm going to try to call the others and meanwhile try to turn off the machine and save Mr Otto!
Weiss: Alright, just be careful ok?
Jaune would nod and run out of the room and go into the bathroom and pull scroll and see that it was off noticing this he would look around and see the security cameras burned out because of the release of energy from the machine. Jaune, Seeing the opportunity, would put on his suit and enter the room, sticking to the ceiling and Otto would look at him.
Otto octavius: Spider Knight?! What are you doing here?
Spider Knight: Otto you have to turn off this machine if it keeps releasing energy it could end up destroying the whole city!
Otto octavius: I will not listen to orders from an amateur hero!
Otto would send one of his mechanical arms hitting spider knight but the arm was hit by an ice shot making him get stuck against the wall and both otto and spider knight look at weiss.
Weiss: Spider knight that's right otto turn off the machine you're not thinking straight!
Otto octavius: Shut up you spoiled brat!
Otto would launch another mechanical arm in the direction of weiss but at the last minute spider knight would catch it making the attack miss and spider knight would look at weiss who was being held like a bride by him.
Spider Knight: Hey are you okay?
Weiss: Y-yes it's ok t-thanks for saving me b-but can you let me go?
Spider Knight: Of course I'm sorry!
Spider knight let go of Weiss with delicacy and the two look at Otto who was trying to keep that sphere of energy stable but failed each attempt, releasing more energy and destroying the laboratory more. Spider knight would look and see an area where the machine was connected and receiving its energy and then he would look at weiss.
Spider Knight: I have an idea but I'm going to need your help. That machine is running on those generators if I can distract him enough you can go over there and turn them off, Do you think you can do this?
Weiss: A schnee always manages to do!
Weiss would change his ammo and put gravity dust and use his glyphs to move faster. Spider knight would start to throw webs on his arms that were getting stuck but he would let go and when he let go they would go up to spider knight trying to hit him.
Spider Knight: Well now that you've turned into a villain what should I call you? Octopus head? Oh I know Doctor Octopus Suits you.
Otto octavius: Why don't you shut up you isolete arachnid!
Spider Knight: Awww did I hurt someone's feelings?
Spider knight was caught by the neck by one of the arms and placed against the wall and while the other one started to spin very fast resembling a drill was approaching the face of spider knight.
Otto octavius: Last words spider knight?
Spider Knight: Never let your guard down…
Otto heard that getting confused and looked back and saw Weiss cutting the cables causing the sphere of energies to disappear, he would scream in rage and launch the four mechanical arms in the direction of Weiss. Spider knight would break free and launch webs on the ceiling and pull a large concrete block that would fall on her head and otto causing him to pass out.
Weiss: Spider Knight are you okay?
Spider Knight: I'm fine with just a slight shortness of breath but I just need to rest. Let's get out of here, the police will probably come in and arrest him.
Weiss went to Spider knight helping him out of the laboratory. Time would pass and the jnpr team were in their dorm resting after a long day of training, Jaune would pull up his scroll and watch the news.
Jaune: Look, people apparently managed to find a cure for Dr Connors and that after some therapy he can be the head of the laboratory again.
Pyrrha: This is great jaune! I hope that when we fight at the vytal festival nothing strange happens.
Nora: Seriously, I don't want a giant nevermore or something like that to appear in the middle of the arena when we go to fight.
The four would let out light laughter at Nora's comment.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Pos-credit 1)
Otto was in his jail cell until a guard would arrive and say he had a call and take him to a private room and Otto would answer the scroll that was on the table.
Jacques: Look who's my good old friend otto answering my calls!
Otto octavius: What do you want gele?
Jacques: Nothing much, just wanted to thank you for your technology.
Otto octavius: What are you doing…
Jacques: No big deal, I'm just taking it for myself and my company, since you're a prisoner, so you don't have any rights over them hahah!
Otto octavius: You isolate! When I get out of prison you will pay no one steal technology from Otto Octavius!
Jacques: So see you there and thanks for the wendigo project haha.
Jacques hung up the call and Otto would grab the scroll from the table and breaking with rage and would let out a scream screaming jacques' name.
(Pos-credit 2)
Weiss was lying in her dorm fiddling with her scroll and saw an image of spider knight which made her blush slightly. Yang who was in the dorm playing video game saw weiss blushing and the image of spider knight and would start laughing which would make weiss slightly irritated.
Yang: Hehe looks like the snow princess has found her spider knight.
Weiss: Shut up yang!
Yang was just laughing at Weiss' reaction. Weiss tried to ignore it but remembered the moment she was being held by spider knight which would make her blush a lot.
(Pos-credit 3)
Connors laboratory was being built a scientist finds a glass capsule that inside had a black goo and had writing on its side ''V-635'' and the scientist would take it inside the laboratory.

Deaged Oz AU - Evacuating Mantle
"NO, James." Tip was very adamant. "If Mantle needs to be evacuated, I will be there to help the others get everybody out. I know you've ordered the evacuation, but there will be people who won't listen to you. I can't let them die!"
"It's too dangerous, Oz. A Schnee in Mantle is asking for trouble and you're still only eleven. What if you get jumped?"
"... if you honestly believe me to be less than the equal of anyone I am likely to face on the streets of Mantle, James, then we need to have a rather different conversation. I am not, in fact, defenceless. Besides, I'll be going with most of team RWBY, Nora, Jaune, Qrow and Oscar. I won't be alone for long enough for them to attempt to snatch me again."
"Salem already grabbed you once!"
"Yes, and yet I got away, thanks in part to the help of others around me. It is far too soon for her to try that again, we both tend to think more in decades than years and it has been barely a month. Besides, I won't be unconscious this time."
"I don't like this, Oz..." Ironwood sounded rather defeated, though. He knew when he'd lost and he also knew that his approval rate was through the floor.
"... I will be alright. I have no desire to die doing this, James... but everybody we can save must be saved, all lives are important."
Ironwood sighed, deeply. "Be aware I will be actively tracking you. At least Weiss will not be joining you, but still... please be careful, my friend."
Tip just nodded, looking grave and left the office without waiting to be dismissed. He glanced at the others, all gathered waiting for the answer and inclined his head. Operation rescue mission was officially a go. He could feel Qrow move into a supporting position beside him and quirked a quick, grateful grin up at him. Qrow always knew when he needed comfort and he certainly did right now.
"So, what's the plan, Pocketsized? Winter and Weiss aren't going, are you planning to disguise yourself, or..."
"Most people have a specific image of what a Schnee resembles, Qrow. I don't quite match that, after all."
"No, but your image has been shared... at least consider that hair dye again?"
Tip pulled a face. *I... don't have it anymore. It was left behind in the rush of leaving Mistral."
Qrow just stared at him, eyes narrow. "Left behind by accident, or deliberately?"
"I dislike having pink hair, Qrow. Besides, that would probably also be an admittance under these circumstances. I could easily find a hooded cloak though?"
"... good enough. But you go nowhere alone, Pocketsized... I mean it. If you're not with me, you're with one of the others. Oscar, too. I suspect both of you will be targets by now."
"... understood. But we really do need to go."
Finding a hooded cloak was easy enough, even if it was brown as opposed to his usual green. The change in color might even be to his benefit, he mused, glancing down at the white shirt and dark pants with something approaching satisfaction. There wasn't so much as a hint of green anywhere on his current clothing, though he still bore both Old Regrets and The Long Memory, there wasn't a chance he'd go out into Mantle unarmed.
Shrugging, the party set out, taking a bullhead down to Mantle and fanning out to try to locate survivors. True to his word, Tip went nowhere alone, always accompanied by at least one other member of the team. He sighed though, there weren't really enough of them to make shadowing him particularly sustainable.
Most of those they found in the partially deserted streets listened to their pleas to evacuate well enough, One or two of the more desperate looking Faunus seemed disinclined to listen to Humans, but when Blake pleaded, they moved quickly enough. All was going well.
Rather too well, considering Qrow's semblance. A rather well appointed building, outside the norm for the sector they were walking, contained an old man who seemed very vaguely familiar. He stared at Tip through rheumy blue eyes and only shook his head.
"Sir, we need to to move. Atlas is coming down and it will fall on you if you don't leave!"
"Hello, Winter. Tell your father he owes me a drink, would you?" The old man chuckled. "What need do the dead have to move?"
Tip stared at him, even as Jaune tried to reason with him too.
"Prism, too? Why this is certainly a good welcome."
"... Prism? That's dad's name, I... who are you?"
But Tip had worked it out, wincing. "You'd be Hawke Winchester, correct? What are you doing down here? Your son would be devastated if you died..."
"You're dead, little Winter. Seeing you here means I must be, too..."
"I... no, sir. I'm Tip. Wintertip Pine. I'm not... you need to move!"
The old man continued to babble until Tip, mindful of their time limit, carefully hit him in the head with his cane. Nora lifted the unconscious body back to their bullhead and lay him gently on one of the couches.
"One of us needs to stay here. Pocketsized? We can probably move quicker without you, you've done enough."
"And if he wakes and thinks I'm a ghost again?"
"You're the adult, technically, Tip. Work it out!"

Twin Snowflakes 44: Miracles and Memories
TFS 43 <-
They say when it rains, it pours. In Atlas’s case, when it snows, even hell freezes. Though the heroes of Remnant were experiencing a great tragedy which they haven’t faced in a long time, tears and worry were put on hold as they stood at attention before James Ironwood. The thick bearded, half bionic man visited the hospital personally and was briefed on the rapidly developing situation. Though his role for Atlas had been more relaxed since Salem’s defeat, times of utmost urgency called for experience. Who better than the man devoted to his nation’s safety?
He watched Penny’s live broadcast with a keen eye. “Weather update.”
“Sir! Atlas’s climate is gradually decreasing.” Penny looked up. “We have roughly five hours before the sun sets. After that, I estimate Atlas’s temperature will be as cold as the tundra.”
“When was the last time our heating system was reset for maintenance.”
“That was today, Sir. It might give us time, but with how cold it’s getting and the amount of civilians…Our system won’t hold long with everyone’s heat on full blast. No system would. It’ll break down eventually, or worse.”
“Cause a power outage. That’s the last thing we need. Penny, how’s Mantle looking?”
“Largely unaffected. A few degrees colder than normal. Likely all the Diamond Dust in the air floating around.”
“So it’s Atlas centered huh?” He stroked his beard. Acting fast was crucial. “How’s the wind? Is it too strong for airships?
“It’s gusty but flying shouldn’t be an issue, yet. Where are we moving the dust?”
“For now, nowhere. We’re moving people. All the civilians we can get done o Mantle before it’s too late.”
They all looked at one another. What Ironwood said made sense but no easy task. Winter was the first to speak up. “Sir, Mantle is big but taking on Atlas’s civilians unexpectedly might cause panic. Not to mention how crowded it would be.”
“All the warmer they’ll be.” Yang said. “Also it isn’t as if panic won’t set in soon anyways. I’ll beat the grimm back myself if I-”
“No.” Jaune interrupted. “If anything is certain, Shiva has targets on us specifically. We remain in Atlas. Besides…” he looked down the hall towards his son’s door. Him and Weiss weren’t going anywhere.
“While I deeply understand all of your current feelings, I wasn’t finished.” Ironwood pulled up a 3D map of Atlas, Mantle, and Amity Arena. “Get as many people as you can to Mantle and Amity for the time being. Heating and food won’t be a problem for now. We’ll have the remaining people relocate to designated areas. That way we can conserve heat by cutting off unnecessary units.”
“I’m already assigning the soldiers their roles based on each section of the city.” Penny wasted no time giving the order. “I know we didn’t put this up for a vote but we truly don’t have much time. Besides, I would like to get back to the hospital as soon as possible. General, please allow me to recommend the hospital, Atlas base, and the academy as designated areas.”
“Granted. Not like people aren’t there already.”
“Add Schnee Manor.” Weiss finally broke her silence. “We have more than enough room.”
No one argued the decision. Whitley spoke as well. “SDC company building as well. I think that should be more than enough space for whoever remains. I’d also prefer if people were directed there first. It’s easily the most useless building for the foreseeable future.”
Weiss saw right through her brother, doing his best to steer people away from her home under the guise of sparing the hospital and base unnecessary strain. She would be against it if not for Nora intentionally cutting her off.
“Great idea. It’s no good if people become restless or unable to work.”
Ruby looked at the map as points of interest were highlighted. Honestly this was a sound move they were making. The right one at that. However…
“General Ironwood? This is another trap.” Ruby looked at the now frozen over Almanac. “Not to say this isn’t our best option on short notice, but what we’re doing means outside of those designated areas, it’s gonna be bone chilling. Shiva is going to be able to move freely throughout Atlas just like she can at the school. You know that, right.”
The old man sighed, “Yes, it did indeed cross my mind. Either way, choosing to do this or not, Atlas faces to brave a harsh blizzard.”
“Just making sure you knew.” Again, Shiva was using the same tactic she used to secure the school. If the first time was defensive to recover, then Ruby feared this to be an offensive, given the range. “We’re fighting Shiva on her terms. Who knows what she has in store.”
xxxxx
And so began the conclusion of a drawn battle. Citizens were moved with haste, uneasy but left in the dark. The official story being a mechanical malfunction that while posed a serious issue, was nothing worth panicking over. As for the controlled blizzard, well, citizens have seen crazier over the years. Ironwood simply told his people that scientists were trying to figure it out themselves. Anything is better than admitting the problem had a face behind it. Especially when that face looks like Atlas’s resident princess. All huntsmen and soldiers did their part to help evacuations. Many were offered the choice to stay behind in Mantle and as expected, many chose that option. Not that it was necessarily bad. It meant lying to less people and Ruby doubted most of them would be safe against their unknown adversary.
The Reaper looked out over the mostly vacant city with Ironwood as the sun began sitting. Not much time left. Wind howled and ice nipped at her nose, yet she remained unbothered. Unlike the subtle shifts James made where prosthetics met flesh.
“There’s still ships leaving.” Ruby said, concerned with his health. “I think you should be on one.”
“Hmph, that’ll give a nice message to the people and my troops.”
“With all due respect, your troops know your birthday. They plan it every year.”
“And I act surprised every time.” The man chuckled. Perhaps he was getting sentimental as well as old. He looked over at his long term alley. It’s hard to believe this was the same girl he met stumbling in her first pair of heels. Harder to believe she’s led countless people with a battle cry right to Salem’s front door. inTime sure flies. “I’ll keep the supply chain going. It would be terrible if you all got hungry in here.”
“Can’t fight on an empty stomach. I’ll tell Winter that you left her in command. Also, if I could ask a favor-”
“I’ve already got people overseas looking into the whereabouts of Sparrow’s boat. If he’s anything like his father, he probably spilled his drink on the ship's tracker and that’s all.”
“Heh, thank you.”
“We’ll call it even.” Ironwood walked away towards the airships.
Ruby smiled, “You know you’ve been calling it even for over a decade now.”
“Someone has to keep track. I can’t ask you bunch to do it. Can’t even put the right age in frosting.”
Ruby blinked twice. “Wait…how old are you?”
“Stay safe Mrs. Rose.”
And with those final words, Ruby was left watching over Atlas, the orange hue of dusk eventually fading to bring Atlas’s coldest night in history. Still, Ruby did not tremble. Little did anyone know back in the school, Shiva was already on her third move. Sleeping peacefully for the first time.

From the depths of slumber, Valerie slowly began to regain consciousness. Her eyes fluttered open, squinting at the lights that beamed down on her. Heavy groans and soreness washed over her body as she finally moved.
“Mmmgh, o…ooow.” She grumbled, her mind foggy. Valerie sat up in her hospital bed with eyes opening at last. There was a lot to take in. For starters, she was in a hospital gown and right arm in a sling bandaged up.
“Whaaa?” She looked left to see her fresh clothes in a chair, then right. A shut window with the blinds shut was the only thing of interest. Val gave a tug on the string a tug. The view of intense white greeted her. Suddenly everything came rushing back.
“Nick…”
Valerie rolled out of bed’ stumbling to her feet as she left her room. Valerie however was not ready to walk into a hall of chaos, an influx of people that clearly weren’t doctors or patients anxiously roaming and chattering amongst themselves. Valerie walked the halls. It was…bizarre to say the least. Many seemed uninjured, bundled up in layers while others sat around portable heaters. Perhaps it was aura, but Valerie didn’t feel too cold. All the body heat around definitely helped, that’s for sure. Despite the worried faces scattered about, she could tell overall morale wasn’t dire. Val wished she felt the same as her legs kept rushing around people in search of Nick, anyone recognizable.
“Mom? Dad!? Nick!!” She yelled the best she could. Valerie stopped to hunch over as she caught her breath.
“Valerie?”
Her head shot up. Down the hall, Jaune was giving her a wide eyed stare. “Jaune!” Val tried to run but her legs gave out on the first step.
Jaune quickly ran over to the tired girl and knelt down. “Hey hey hey, easy now. Did you just wake up?” She gave him a nod. Jaune scooped her up in his arms and carried her over to an empty chair out of the way of anyone passing by. “You shouldn’t be out of bed. Let alone running.”
“What’s going on? Why are they so many people here, and why is-” a pain shot up her arm that made her wince.
“Valerie, you have to calm down.” Jaune reached for her arm and used his semblance, watching Valerie slowly untense her body and breathe. “Better?”
“A little.” She grunted through the pain. “I just don’t understand anything right now.”
It was clear Valerie was not only frazzled, but scared. Jaune did his best to give her a reassuring smile. “For starters…you’ve been asleep for two days.”
“Tw-”she stopped herself from yelling. “Okay…and?”
“And a lot has gone down. Too much. Try not moving your arm. It’s still broken. I’ve done a lot to help it along but doctors say you’re looking at about a month of regular recovery.”
Valerie rubbed it gently, “That long?”
“Not to freak you out, but the bones in your hand and wrist sounded like pocket change.”
“O…oh.” Her face got a little pale. “Will it recover correctly?”
“You’re young and I’m still here. Now that you’re awake we’ll get you a proper caste. You need to eat first, regain some energy. Nora and Ren are going to be glad you’re finally awake.”
“Where are they?”
Valerie’s question brought silence as Jaune’s smile grew a little smaller. He looked toward. Now that she thought about it, why was Jaune and so many at the hospital-
“No…” she said softly, “Jaune, what haven’t you told me yet? Why are you here? Why is it so cold outside?” Deep down in her heart, Valerie already knew the answer. “Where’s Nick?”
Jaune sighed, “It’s…better if I showed you.”
xxxxxx
In all her life, Valerie saw herself as a protector, a leader to rely on. The clutch in every situation. As Jaune told her the terrible news, that image began to crack, and as she stood looking through the other side of the door window at a bed ridden Nick, doctors over him. Penny including. The only thing that broke her focus on the window were two voices calling her name.
“Valerie!” Ren and Nora said with relief. Their joy was short lived , realizing what room she was in front of. Their daughter looked at them with tears already falling. They didn’t spare a second further, running to Valerie and wrapping their arms around her gently.
“N-Nick…is he…he’ll be fine right?” No one even bothered to lie. “Right?” She said again, voice shrill.
“We’re doing everything, but…” Jaune looked at his hands before sighing. He shook away his own bad thoughts. “Never mind that for now. Val, the others are on their way. You’re the only one right now who can possibly tell us more than what we already know.”
“Me? I hate to break it to you but I barged in on things. I’m not sure how-”
“Anything.” Jaune barely held back the desperation in his voice.
“…I’ll do the best I can.” Valerie slowly walked back to her room with her parents. She couldn’t even bring herself to look back at the window.
It took about twenty minutes, but everyone arrived at the hospital. Ruby was of course the first to show, followed by Weiss and Yang. Blake, Whitley, and Winter were the last. Besides Penny, who didn’t want to leave Nick for any longer than necessary.
Valerie could see the varying levels of fatigue on the group's face. Ranging from slight exhaustion like Winter, or the red puffy eyes of Weiss. She didn’t even look like she wanted to talk. No one could blame her. Valerie couldn’t help notice someone was missing as well.
“Where’s Veronica?”
Blake’s ears fell. “She…didn’t want to come back here. Said it’s too nosy and she’d rather listen out for anything unusual.”
“Ah.” Valerie couldn’t find fault for once with how Veronica might be feeling. Valerie wished for herself that she remained asleep, as if it would change anything. “I’ve tried thinking back a bit. Honestly the ending is pretty hazy.”
“Give us anything you have.” Penny said.
“Well, it was brief. Everything happened so fast. Eliza asked if I could help them with the boiler, I heard a loud bang going down the stairs and-oh, Have you seen Max and Darren?”
“Those two were down there?”
“Yeah. I mean Darren was knocked out, also Max is part of the reason I managed to escape with Nick.”
Ruby thought back to Harriet’s list. “Max was definitely on that list compiled by school attendance. I don’t remember seeing Darren at all. More importantly, if you said he was unconscious then surely his parents or somebody would’ve brought him to a hospital, right? Max isn’t the type to not help a person.”
“I can vouch for that.” Jaune said, skeptical of those two’s involvement. “Cardin has had his faults over the years but he’s raised a decent kid. Darren, well we’ve all seen his attitude. He’s a senior right? If attendance doesn’t have him and he potentially lives on his own…”
“Then we’ve fucked up.” Ruby chastised herself silently. “I’m willing to bet money if he ever regained consciousness then he fled to Mantle.”
Winter’s eyes narrowed. “Which means he could actually be anywhere in Remnant. Nothing is stopping anyone from leaving Mantle. Maybe if we find Max…”
“Don’t.” Valerie said, drawing attention. “Max has always been sensible if nothing else, despite his choice in friends. He wouldn’t sit on anything important when all of Atlas is in danger. Not only that but…his eyes. I’ve never seen the guy look terrified until that day. I wouldn’t be surprised if the fear of Shiva made him hide away if he did have anything useful. Then again…”
“She would’ve dealt with him if he did have anything on her.” Winter finished. “Back to square one then. We couldn’t waste manpower on a search anyways.”
The memory of Nick on the floor kept replaying on loop in Valerie’s head. The fear in his eyes, the red lights, the blood…
“Is there really nothing you can do?” She looked at Penny with sad, pleading eyes that wanted hope. Any slither at all.
Penny never wanted the ability to lie more than ever. Unfortunately, “I just don’t know. As it stands, it’s all on him wanting to live long enough to heal, and that possibility…it would take more than a miracle.”
Weiss dug her nails into her palms. “That wouldn’t even be enough.A hundred wouldn’t even be.”
“Weiss-”
“He’s dying, Penny! And I…I know better than to just believe in a miracle. I know we all say it but let’s be honest with ourselves. A miracle didn’t beat Salem or save the world. We got answers to problems and put in effort! The only miracle was having enough time to do it; and Nick…he has no time. I’m gonna lose my son, and I can’t reach my daughter.”
Her head fell into her hands as she struggled to keep herself together. Jaune put his arms around her again. Valerie looked around and it was clear to see in the eyes of everyone that they were losing hope despite doing all their best. Maybe if she’d be more like them with a little time, but for now, she refused to look at the worst.
“Are we really asking for a miracle? Penny, You helped save Summer didn’t you?”
“I can’t take credit for that. That alone was unnatural in its own right. Truthfully, Summer shouldn’t have made it to the hospital. Not only was she a small child, but fell into a freezing lake after a dust explosion. If the Diamond Dust had hit a vital organ then it would’ve been over.”
Jaune didn’t like thinking of that day being worse than it was. “I was barely able to keep her holding on. Summer also didn’t have the shrapnel in her as long as Nick had that dagger in. If there’s any miracle that day, it’s that he awakened his semblance when he did?”
Those words brought Valerie’s mind to a screeching halt. “Wait, what exactly happened that day? I knew that’s when he got the glyphs but how did that help?”
“It appeared under Summer after I pulled her out of the water onto land. We had thought she was going to die right there right before it activated. Like any Schnee glyph, it took the dust and added it to itself, making the shards deteriorate.”
“Did the glyph look like a mixture of bloody ice and white? Because when I saw Nick, he had two small glyphs in his hands between the dagger.”
Yang chimed in. “Maybe he tried doing the same thing? In his situati-”
A loud thud from Penny’s scroll hitting the tile floor made everyone jump. The tiredness in her emerald eyes faded as they gradually grew wider and turned to Valerie.
“The same thing…” She repeated Yang’s words. “Valerie, are you certain you saw Nick use his semblance on the dagger?”
“Y-Yes. Why?”
Penny didn’t want to get anyones hopes up, yet she didn’t want to abandon hope either. Before she said anything else, Penny wanted to confirm her suspicion. “I’ll be right back.” Penny took off running out of the room.
“Penny!” Whitley yelled. “Where are you going!?”
“To find a miracle!” She made a sharp right around the corner and kept going.
Whitley looked at his loved ones in hope they understood any of that. To no surprise, they were equally lost. Even Ruby hadn’t the foggiest idea. As baffling as it all was, it was overshadowed as Veronica phased through the ceiling and onto Valerie’s bed, spooking the girl.
“Gah! Veronica!?”
The faunus spared a glance at the Valkyrie before turning to the window and pointing to the school. “The wind makes it hard to hear, but I definitely smell her scent growing. Not closer but…stronger. I think she’s ready for her next move.”
Valerie’s armed ache at the thought, which reminded her… “Guys? There’s something else I noticed that day.”
xxxxxx
The front doors of the combat school defrosted and opened. Shiva squinted her eyes as she stepped into a world of her making. “Oof, little bright.” She giggled and stretched her limbs. “Time for a little stroll.”
The enigmatic entity let the swift wind guide her footsteps to the road where she started heading west. The cold kept her comfortable and the snow invigorated the senses, but despite all its greatness, Shiva enjoyed the sun’s rays on her body. Warmth was never a thing she despised. It made food better, life persisted with it, and warmth told her secrets. Like how underground held a bunch of little warm things that were getting a little too comfortable.
“Now of Summer’s memories are correct…ah!” She spotted an entrance to the subway. “To think the rich even bothered making these, let alone remembering them. Now I could just freeze it over, but….”
Shiva took a single step and lunged forward down the entrance at incredible speed. A gust of wind followed behind then blew past her when she stopped to gaze at the dozens of atlas soldiers that stood in place from shock; their hands literally caught red handed with flame rounds, crystals, and blades.
“Well? What are you all waiting for? Those are meant for me right? Go ahead.” She smirked, making a glyph appear below all their feet.
“Find out if they work.”
xxxxxx
“I’m back!” Penny said, running back into the room and noticing Winter’s troubled look while hanging up on a call. “What happened?”
“One of my teams has gone radio silent. Also, Valerie, care to tell her what you told us?”
“When I destroyed my arm breaking Shiva’s ice wall, for a moment, I saw a glyph appear before I hit her.”
Penny gasped silently then looked at her own scroll. “All the more reason for this then, potentially.” She projected four images to everyone.
Valerie was thankful for paying attention in science. Each image looked like cells under a microscope. “Umm, I'm an average student. Anyone want to elaborate?
Penny pulled out a sealed vial blood. “They’re blood cells. Two photos on the left are Nick’s, while the right are Summer’s.”
Penny took the furthest right one and made it bigger. The image had normal coloring and the cells looked right at home in a text book. “This is her blood record taken before the accident. As for after…”
She enlarged the second image. While normal blood cells remained, speckles of something more could be seen in a few areas between cells and even in a few. Those cells didn’t have the same pinkish coloring, but tints of bluish purple.
“This was taken during her last check up.”
“Penny, we've seen her blood work before. What’s this leading to?” Weiss asked.
Penny moved both images aside and brought up Nick’s first image. Again, it was normal. “Last taken a few months ago. And now as of several minutes ago and me personally examining it…”
She brought up the new blood. While nowhere near as aggressive, faint speckles could be seen; as well as a faded tint on a few cells. Penny left the images up as she put down her scroll. She leaned against the doorframe as she stared at the results with great interest. Everyone could see her brain at work while her eyes became very critical.
“I’ve run tests on Diamond Dust treatments of several others before and it’s never cellular, and leaves the system without any long or short term harm. Of course that’s nothing surprising in the grand scheme of things since the same is done with all manners of dust. Now I’m not going to rule out the possibilities Nick’s recent results are due to the simple fact a large portion of dust violently got into his system. Even so…it’s unnatural for any foreign substance to not kill a thing as delicate as a blood cell. I’m willing to bet if I took any samples from Valerie’s arm that I’d only find dead cells from frostbite and healthy normal blood cells. I’m not entirely sure but I think…the glyph semblance managed for lack of a better word, to dissipate the dust into the body.”
“And what exactly does that mean for us?”
“What if…we gave Nick more Diamond Dust?” All of her friends looked at her like she was insane. Looks like she’d have to talk a little faster. “I know it sounds counterintuitive but hear me out! We keep obsessing about what we don’t know but let’s stop and think about what we do know in regards to Shiva and Summer’s body.”
Ruby tapped her foot and thought about all the training. “Umm there’s the cold of course. That’s what brings her out. Along with immense adrenaline and fear but those two are very inconsistent.”
“Correct. What else?” Penny pointed at Yang.
“Heat makes her go and before today, she’s never used a glyph on us.”
“Not only that but Shiva takes damage. Real cuts and bruises. It’s why detaining her is so hard because we don’t want to hurt Summer. Now we have Valerie saying she can use glyphs.”
“So we have to ask ourselves what’s the biggest change between this time and the others?” Blake said.
Ren already had an answer. “Easy. It’s colder and she has access to way more Diamond Dust.”
Penny nodded in agreement. “These are the facts we know. We also know Shiva manages to heal incredibly fast, a product of the dust that seemed unique to her while cutting through everyone else’s aura and inflicting wounds like frostbite and cuts.”
Jaune began putting a few pieces together. “Are you…saying that now that Nick’s cells are somewhat similar that he should heal too?”
“Not quite. Like I said, small amounts have been used by people over the years and they did experience an enhanced recovery for otherwise longer lasting and even some irreversible injuries. What I’m proposing is I’m starting to believe Shiva is in pain and we didn’t realize it.”
Penny pushed the images to the side and sat at the foot of the bed near Veronica. “Your ears are the best of us. How would you describe Summer’s body?”
“It’s a mess, but that’s because she admitted to not taking care of it properly. It was getting better with her new routine and diet. As for Shiva, nothing about her ever sounded correct. Same with the smell.”
“I see. Here’s my theory for you all. We could always do direct damage to Shiva because Summer’s aura was too busy protecting her internal organs from freezing. I mean just think about it. It’s not like her aura vanishes and it’s never full when Summer returns. It would also explain Shiva’s typical sense of agency over the years if she’s been aware prolonged encounters weren’t favorable. But all that’s changed recently.”
“So you’re implying that because she has more Diamond Dust and it’s colder, it’s come full circle where the Dust’s healing properties can keep up with whatever damage Summer’s body may have sustained; freeing up the aura to be used as normal.” Jaune surmised
“Yes, but I have no way of confirming this or knowing if Shiva made a conscious decision to operate like this. It’s very possible in an attempt to sustain itself, Summer’s body naturally prioritized its safety by diverting all sure to shield its vitals. After all…we know the seriousness Diamond Dust can cause to a person’s organs.” she said solemnly as she brought back Nick’s blood results.
“You do realize what you’re asking, right?” Whitley folded his arms. “You’re talking about experimental medicine and theories.”
“I know, but-”
“And let’s address the Goliath in the room.” He continued, “Say all of this is legit and giving Nick more Diamond Dust saves his life. Is Nick the only thing we’re getting back.”
Her gaze fell to the floor. Penny looked at her scroll again, at Nick’s vitals. “I don’t know. We could end up with another Shiva somehow. Even so…” she looked at Jaune and Weiss. “I can’t be the only one who’s willing to run that risk. If we don’t try anything soon, Nicholas will die.”
It wasn’t the first time it was said, but now it felt like a certainty. Doing nothing but hope would only bring disappointment. Yet this unknown, it might bring something far worse on the slightest chance it did work.
Blake cleared her throat, gaining everyone’s attention. “I thought we were focusing on what we knew? Whatever the specifics are, Shiva came about through a violent experience. Not Penny being as careful as possible.”
The redhead smiled softly at her friend's words. “ Gradual doses, constant monitoring, and everything I-we have to offer. We don’t need him to heal rapidly like Shiva. Just enough to help sustain him while Nick’s aura can concentrate on his organs healing what it can. If he gains enough strength then we could give him proper surgery for whatever might need operating. So… thoughts?”
Nora ran her hands through her hair trying to wrap her head around it all. “Listen, I won’t pretend I followed every step of that completely, but does this really need a vote? It’s Nick. We’ve spent years facing Shiva and I don’t regret it because the alternative was Summer died in a lake. If this was the only shot to save any of you, I’d take it. We’ll cross all other bridges when we get there.”
There wasn’t a soul who felt differently. Despite the danger, nobody was about to stop anyone. Weiss stood up and looked at all those she considered family. “I don’t think I need to tell any of you that I’d take either of my children's place in an instant if it meant they lived happy lives. Whitley, thank you for what you said. Honestly I didn’t have it in me to bring up the possibility. Lately I’ve been feeling like I haven’t had the strength to deal with all these problems for a while. I try to be there for them, yet they still slip through my fingers. Some of you were able to see parts of them I couldn’t.”
“It takes a village Weiss.” Ruby said. “No one does it alone. Though I guess we haven’t talked with each other enough about the serious things.”
“All of you do what Jaune and I try to do. We listen to our kids and try to go from there. I think…we do that now. Penny, is Nick awake? He should have the final say if he’s able to.”
“Only one way to find out.” Penny offered her hand and Weiss took it before they both walked out. Jaune got up and followed behind them.
“Do you guys want to-”
“Of course.” Winter said bluntly. “However, all of us at once, not to mention his fragile state, it’s still too risky. Go be with your son.”
He nodded then left. Veronica got off the bed and moved towards the window, going through the wall to leave. Yang was quite shocked.
“I thought she’d say more.”
“How’s she handling all of this?” Winter asked with genuine concern. “She’s been rather…reserved.”
“You’d think I’d have a clue what goes through that head? Honestly-”
Veronica poked her head back through the wall. “Shiva’s moving towards the base.”
Yang jumped to her feet. “What!? Are you sure?”
“She is.” Winter said as her scroll flashed red. “Alright, who’s going with me and who’s staying?”
Ruby, Blake, and Yang all nodded at one another. Winter however glared at Blake and Yang.
“You both can’t go. You have a child.”
“Tah!” Veronica rolled her eyes. “Better they both go. No matter who stays, one will be anxious. Not like you two have the guts to die on me.” Veronica looked at the four of them. “None of you do. Got it?”
She fully stepped through the wall for Blake and Yang to hug her tightly. Ruby hugged her friends then ran over to Whitley to hold him close.
“I’ll be back before you miss me.”
“If only you were that fast.” He hugged her back. Whitley looked over at Winter and they exchanged a silent but meaningful look. With farewells out of the way, the four women grabbed Veronica’s hand and she took them through the wall so they could be on their way. Veronica went back in one final time.
“I’m going to the manor. Figure one of us should be there just in case.”
“Don’t be a hero.” Nora cautioned.
“Pfft, duh. If I wanted that then I’d go to combat school.” Veronica left with those words.
Nora looked at Ren’s sympathetic eyes. “What color?”
“Do you even have to ask? Blue, all of us.”
xxxxx
A few halls down, Weiss and Jaune once again held their son’s hands as he lay awake, but barely. Still, his strength was a bit better than before. They knew better to drain his energy and gave Nick a brief version. Despite the pain, Nick slowly inched to set up against the bed.
“Well now…you all sure now how to dump a lot on a guy..” he chuckled a little before coughing, the taste of iron in the back of his throat.
Seeing him like this made Weiss’s heart heavy. “We’re all out of certainties. We just…I need to hear you say it’s okay.”
“Would you still do it if I said no?” He knew it wasn’t a fair question. Weiss didn’t even bother answering. Her remorseful look was enough. As if she were apologizing for something she hadn’t even done yet. “Sorry, I had to ask.”
“It’s okay to be scared. I hope you know that.” Jaune rubbed his hand over his son’s knuckles.
“I know dad.” The pain in him vexed his breathing. Nick tried slow breaths to regain composure before his answers. “There’s…so much I wanna do. Things I want to…see. Like Summer. I still have to tell her something really exciting.”
His mind drifted to his reason for running to the school in the first place. He wondered how Veronica was doing. Knowing her, probably very upset at him. He was warned about rushing to Summer’s side without thinking by multiple people. He should’ve listened.
With his decision made, Penny walked over to the three. “I’ll get the doctors and everything set up. It’ll take either until nightfall or maybe even early morning before we start. If there’s one thing we can’t afford to rush, it's dosage.” She looked at Nick with kind eyes. “If we want our best chance I’m gonna have to put you under.”
“Oh joy. Sleep, my old nemesis.” He said with a tired smile. “Hopefully I’ll have a good dream…”
xxxxx
“Pl…Please, I don’t know.” A familiar phrase given by one of my chattering soldiers stationed outside the base.
Shiva rolled her eyes and sighed an icy breath that frosted over the soldier’s collar she gripped tightly. “Ugh, does chain of command not exist or something?” She looked around at the battered individuals. “All I wanted was a password or Penny’s location but since that’s tooooo hard…”
Shiva tossed the man aside and froze him in place. She grabbed her Diamond Dust made cutlass, similar to the one she made in the tournament, and headed towards the gates of the base. “Guess I’m doing this the hard way.”
As she reached for the door, a massive glyph blocked her way. A white manticore the size of an airbus came out claws first swiped and Shiva was batted away, tumbling through the snow and hitting a lamp pole.
“Grgrgrg~” she grumbled. Her head popped up out of the snow as fast as it was put into it. “Well somebody doesn’t care about playing nice anymore.”
Winter stood across the field, eyes focused. “Please, that wouldn’t have hurt you under normal circumstances.” She sent the manticore hunting Shiva down.
“At least you recognize your position.”
Shiva raised her blade and split the beast in two as it came to ram her. A burst of red petals came from behind it and circled Shiva several times before flying by. The sudden tightening of a black sash squeezed Shiva’s body. Ruby stabbed Gambol Shroud deep into the ground on her end while Blake held the other end near Winter and Yang.
Shiva blinked. “…I haven’t seen you lot in all this time and the best you have is tying me up? On second thought, maybe you don’t recognize the position you’re in.”
Winter put a gravity glyph under Shiva’s feet. Heat from Yang’s gauntlets made red markings on the sash glow. Shiva felt the warmth against her skin rise steadily.
“Okay, this is less insulting. I figured I’d be seeing Red, White, Black, and Yellow eventually but not exactly what I expected.” Shiva tilted her head and stared unblinkingly at Winter. “Is mommy still crying?”
Winter grimaced, “We are not here to talk.”
“Could’ve fooled me! I mean you did decide to subdue me instead of ya know, stabbing? Afraid to get close? Can’t blame you. Can you imagine how badly it hurts getting stabbed by this dust? I thought the pain would be instant but from what I’ve seen it really isn’t…” Shiva’s smile faded a little. “Oh well. Can’t undo mistakes. At least Nick didn’t suffer too long.”
The team gave subtle glances to one another. From the sound of it, Shiva thinks Nick is dead. Honestly, all for the better. The last thing she needs is a reason to go to the hospital. What’s more interesting is Shiva didn’t look that amused with herself. Yang didn’t know why but it pissed her off more.
“Why does it almost sound like you care?”
“Don’t know. Maybe it’s a twin thing. I wish you could’ve seen the look on Summer's face witnessing it, the way the room was so quiet in the end. It was awful really! I’d say she’d feel the same when I’m done with you all, heheh.”
Tormented giggles grew louder into laughter. Yang increased the heat while everyone held tightly to the restraints. Shiva…felt different.
“Hahahaha, but Summer isn’t feeling anything anymore! Her voice is completely silenced. Just me, myself, and I!”
“Tsk, why are you even here!?” Blake yelled.
Shiva stopped laughing.“Oh~ I thought that was obvious. Well for starters, I knew a few of you have to show up. It’s not like any of you bother to call me and I need you gone. As for the other thing; After sifting through all these new and wonderful memories Summer has that I never knew, I realized something. Mine really are boring. Do you know how many times I’ve stared through the thick glass of a pod? How often I heard the beeping of stupid scanners? When I tell you I want that room and stupid lab and robot broken I MEAN IT!”
The ground began to tremble and the sash’s red glow began to fade.
“Speaking of which, where is she? I know you have to know.”
Ruby put flame rounds in her gun and took aim. “You’re not getting anywhere near her, or anyone else!”
“Little late for that.” She looked at the soldiers. “Be grateful they weren’t any of you, or not! Better aim seriously. Your lives depend on it.”
Yang’s hair grew brighter. “We’re not scared of you.”
“Hahahaha! I don’t need you scared. In fact, I don’t need you to feel anything at all.”
Dozens of glyphs spread across the snow that surrounded everyone. Contorted white limbs rose slowly, pushing themselves through. Shiva’s laughter were drowned out by the deathly cries of Apathy. The sash went limp and the gravity glyph disappeared as Winter and Blake fell to their knees.
“Damnit!” Yang’s vision blurred and she stumbled forward, taking a knee. Her head bobbed down for a second and the moment it came up, Shiva stood before her with her sword raised to fall.
Ruby screamed, “YANG!” Digging her feet into the ground before blasting forward, powering through the Apathy’s cries. Ruby ran right into Shiva and grabbed her as she kept going as far as possible before her arms couldn’t take the cold. Ruby reeled her arms back and threw Shiva at the same time she stopped dashing.
Shiva rolled and bounced off the pavement, impacting the side of a car and making it skid.
Ruby looked backed to see the Apathy vanishing. Winter uses what focus she still has to speed up the process, making the manticore attack the creatures so she and her friends can get back up.
Ruby dashed back to them. The manticore retrieved Crescent Rose and tossed it to Ruby to catch. “Are you guys okay!?”
Yang got up. “I fucking hate those things! I know Valerie said she used glyphs but come on!” Yang helped Blake up.
Sometimes two sets of ears are nothing but trouble. Blake shook off the daze. “Mgh, I guess we know what she’s been practicing these past couple of days.”
“No.” Winter stabbed her blade into the ground to help pull herself up. “That’s not something you can just practice. She mentioned sifting through Summer’s memories. If she’s capable of freely doing that…”
“Then just how many tricks has she remembered?” Ruby looked through her scope to try and spot her. “…Yang, melt the soldiers out and get them to safety.”
Her tone left nothing to be desired. Yang started melting ice with the help of Winter. “Ruby, what is she doing?” Her sister asked.
“Hate to say it but I’m glad Summer never got the hang of summoning a Gigas. She got pretty good with beowulves though. Unfortunately for her…” Ruby put down the scope.
The wind blew harshly towards them, ripping howling like never before. Ruby switched to scythe mode and twirled it, holding it behind her with both hands.
“Shiva doesn’t have my memories.” Ruby almost felt nostalgic. “ Just another winter in Patch.”
Yang smiled. “Well when you put it that way.” She cracked her knuckles. “Too bad there’s no Ursas”
“Let’s not give her ideas.” Winter warned. “Just so we’re all on the same page, our top priority is controlling our advantages. Don’t mention Nick, and this base can’t fall. Penny’s lab is too valuable to lose. Diamond Dust, weapons, anything on Shiva and potentially things she’ll need for her so-called Miracle. We empty the streets for a reason. Let’s use him.”
“Roger!” They yelled, running into the city in multiple directions while for the best points of attack possible.
Shiva couldn’t see them from how far she was but could feel their warmth ever so slightly amidst the blizzard. “So that’s how we’re playing this? Fine by me. Let’s see who knows these streets best. You, or the girl who ditched school constantly?”
She snapped her fingers and sent her creatures on their hunt. “No more running away. It’s your turn now.”

Pokemon Au: Milo makes me think of that one crying chopper meme.
"Everyone!" Jaune cried from atop the roof of Beacon, creating a nervous look on the headmaster's face, "THE LEGENDARIES ARE REEEEEEEAL!" Jaune continued to stand in defiance of the roaring students who shouted and attempted to declaim his proclamation.
Meanwhile, Akouo performed Night Slash on a Beringel that was bellowing at the Mistrali champion. Pyrrha placed her diadem on a crying Nora while Milo also sobbed at her side.
In the distance, General Ironwood stood at the ready with the Ace Operatives, ready to end the war. Far and away from the din of battle sat Roman Torchwick, on a crate of weapons, fingers laced as Cinder Fall threatened his life with her newly gained dark powers.
Back at Beacon, Ruby and Yang clasp hands, grinning ear to ear at their promise to each other they just made. Meanwhile, out back, Blake was tied down by the numerous Pokémon of the forest.

honestly i'm thinking about my overthrown ozpin au since someone reblogged an old post abt it
i'm just thinking abt his exile, how devastated and confused he was, yet trying desperately to stay optimistic, that surely this will all blow over
thinking abt ozpin going to old safehouses and old allies, only for those places and people to no longer be safe, being betrayed time and time again
thinking abt him retreating into the woods outside of vale, at first hoping that at least one village would help him, would believe him, only for even them to distrust him, for rumors to have been made, only for him to be damn near burned at the stake because some particularly religious people claimed he was a 'witch' (and isn't that ironic?)
thinking abt ozpin's trust and hope in people being completely shattered, even when it came to simple old civilians because even the children in villages were terrified of him
ozpin attempting to hide deep in the thickest part of the woods, making his own little house, having to call on the survival skills of several past lives just to get by
ozpin writing in journals, documenting his experiences, naming the various animals he kept around, doting on his sheep and his singular horse named Magpie (he misses qrow so, so badly), making a cloak/cape out of their wool
ozpin silently guiding lost travelers out of the woods to safety, despite his mistrust of them
ozpin being chased away, his home destroyed, losing his beloved horse, and having to run back into vale, because no other kingdom is safe
ozpin being found by roman and neo, two criminals being the only people that actually help him
ozpin falling into the trap of alcohol, trying desperately not to remember how his own father did the exact same thing
ozpin losing his arm and his cane, his murder of salems lackey being the catalyst to his ever-growing rage and his downfall
ozpin forcing grimm to bow to him, getting merlot to work for him and to get him his grimm arm, ignoring qrows and glyndas protests and anger
ozpin convincing adam taurus to work for him with the help of CME and watts, telling him that helping him would be the first step to truly liberating the faunus
ozpin completely overtaking vale in a single night, disabling pyrrha (but not killing her) and brutally murdering the newest beacon headmaster on live tv
ozpin reinstating vales monarchy, making himself the new king/emperor- because dictators are what people hate, because this is a way to unite people against him
ozpin taking in a little baby oscar and raising the ram faunus, and eventually cracking under his 'act' that is slowly not becoming an act and forcing oscar into brutal, nasty training (which is just an excuse to abuse the kid) and 'punishing' (abusing) him whenever oscar steps out of line
ozpin terrifying leo into working for him, and eventually taking mistral 5 years into his reign, officially creating the Oz Empire, but still lacking the lamp of knowledge due to team RWBY, JNPR, and to his shock and rage, salem
ozpin creating terrifying, monstrous grimm- anything from giant sea leviathans that could take down a whole atlas ship with a single snap of its jaws, to the horrifying infamous grimm known as The Consumption, a parasitic grimm that plants 'seeds' in people, before eventually overtaking their bodies in a horrifying burst, infecting the environment itself, craving and needing biomass to feed itself and grow
ozpin turning on the white fang and killing adam when he tries fighting back, utterly destroying the group with his empires far superior technology
atlas completely abandoning the other kingdoms, hoarding all the resources for itself, becoming a fascist police state
ozpin's magic affecting the environment- animals and plants becoming more and more aggressive, mimicking grimm, and grimm becoming far more aggressive, attacking literally everything in sight
ozpin taking vacuo, getting the sword of destruction, keeping it on him at all times
ozpin taking back the maiden powers, getting stronger and stronger every time he takes back his magic, killing raven and the summer maiden in the process
ozpin being furious when pyrrha is forced to kill cinder and pyrrha becomes the fall maiden
ozpin killing pyrrha not long before he goes to try and take atlas, getting the fall maiden powers, knowing that pyrrhas death tears apart jaune
ozpin having personally torn out rubys eye, and ruby having to take the time to adjust being down an eye
yang being mostly prosthetics because she's lost so much due to the war, despite trying to be careful and smart
blake losing an ear, having issues with her hearing and having to adjust to being HoH
weiss having chronic pain due to all the dust/magic damage all over her body, her eyesight slowly worsening
jaune losing his left arm, integrating his shield into it, and letting his hair grow out
nora having lichtenburg scars everywhere, and dealing with constant chronic pain, her joints being the worst because of the constant amount of force
ren being the least damaged out of the group, but still dealing with arthritis and lowered joint range
nora having nearly been paralyzed, so she has a sort of prosthetic on her spine to help her keep walking
pyrrha having a lot of prosthetics before being killed, which aided her a lot in her fights
oscar running away at 14 successfully with the help of qrow and RWBY, glynda dying in the process, and oscar having to deal with the awful amount of PTSD he has as well as his disabilities, and requiring a new prosthetic leg (which was based off of mercurys legs)
ozpin attacking atlas directly with his new, massive metallic/grimm wyvern the size of monstra, stealing the winter maiden powers from winter and killing her, killing ironwood, and destroying atlas with the sword of destruction
ozpin being practically half grimm, the grimm from his arm having covered half of his body, allowing him to control grimm, summon those shadow hands via glyphs, and allowing him to contort in horrifying ways and to regenerate the grimm part of himself (it's not painless, it hurts like hell)
ozpin finally being killed by oscar via the sword of destruction, ending the war
the kingdoms having several civil wars and wars between each other afterwards because no one can decide on how to tackle the history of the war
the veterans from all sides refusing to talk about the war
ozpin reincarnating in oscar, and due to oscar healing with his friends help, oscar takes no bullshit from oz, and as a result, oz slowly, slowly heals
oscar being adopted by ruby and penny, and grieving the loss of winter, yang, nora, glynda and pyrrha with the remnants of the two teams

Smol AU: Do the Happy Huntress go to Lunaris to treat with the smol king and gazed at the glorious manly beard?
The Truth Of Liers
Robyn: Okay… This place is… massive…
Fiona: Didn’t they say this place was was a town…?
May: A town: this place is a city?! I heard it had a population of just three hundred, now they say it has nearly seven thousand!
Joanna: With enough food to feed them for two years, enough dust to last a lifetime, and has a military on par with, Atlas.
Robyn: And, this place has only excited for two weeks…
Fiona: Do you really think we can get their help?
May: They’re anti-Atlas, of course they’ll help us!
Robyn: Mantle, is Atlas, and Atlas is, Mantle. It is one, and the same. That fact alone will give them pause.
Fiona: That doesn’t sound good to me.
Joanna: Sounds better to me then how, Atlas has been treating us.
May: That’s a reassuring thought.
Robyn: Enough, all we can do is the best we can do. That will be enough.
Fiona: I hope so…
Soon the quartet of Huntresses stopped before a large gate, a small girl with orange hair dressed in bulky silver white armour with pink fabric underneath slammed her massive war hammer upon the ground, stopping their procession dead in its tracks as she stared them down.
: I am, Nora Valkyrie! Thunder of the Mountain, Knight-Commander of the King’s Shield Guard! Who dares approach the Mountain King!
Robyn: I am, Robyn Hill, of Mantle. I wish to speak to your King.
Nora: And, what do you seek?
Robyn: Aid to help us defend, Mantle from the, Grimm.
Nora stood there for a moment before she made a small grunt sound, and called forth for her second-in-command. A woman wearing bulky towering over her commander in her armour that the quartet all recognized, but one that none expected to find here.
Robyn: Elm? Elm Ederne? What are you doing here.
Elm: I am here serving as the second to the Knight-Commander.
Joanna: But, don’t you serve, Atlas, and General Ironwood?
Elm: I renounce my loyalty to, Atlas, and General Ironwood. I now serve the King of Lunaris; both as his protector, and one of his many lovers.
May: You quit?!
Fiona: L-Lovers…?
Nora: Enough! Lieutenant. Alert his Majesty that a group of individuals wish an audience with him!
Elm: As you command, Knight-Commander!
Elm pounder her fist to her chest plate as a salute to her commander before the doors to the throne room opened long enough for her to disappear behind it. The doors soon shutting with a thunderous clash as it echoed throughout the vast unground kingdom.
Joanna: Well, this seems to be going easier than we expected…
Robyn: It’s not over yet, stand on your guard, and watch your words.
May: Got it!
Fiona: Let’s do this!
Soon the doors opened, far wider this time, as Elm walked out she stood behind her Knight-Commander, bending down to whisper in her ear, before standing back at attention behind her.
Nora: His Majesty; King Jaune Arc the Engraver. King of Lunaris, grants you the pleasure of an audience with him.
The duo soon stood to the side, as a contingent of the Shield Guard slammed their poleaxes, as the duo stood to the side as the quartet slowly made their way inside.
The Throne Room to the King of the Mountain was massive, dozens of civil servants, and officials littered the hall way. A deep blie carpet, with finely woven gold threads marks its path to the Throne. Alcoves rested along the wall, a dozen of them in total, upon each of them sat a rather small bulky looking individual. A flight of stairs lead to a throne high above all, upon it sat one figure, he was smaller then most, but his piercing blue eyes made him appear as if he was staring down on all, even if he was eye level with, Robyn, and her party. He was above them all.
A small figure stepped towards them, he wore a deep grey blue cloak, keeping his face hidden, showing nothing, but the thick white beard he sported, and his glowing eyes of ice, and snow. He stepped forward, slamming his staff on the ground, drawing everyone’s attention towards him, as the raven atop his staffed cawed out silencing all before them.
: I am, Wojtek, the Storm Caller! Counsellor, and High Shaman for his majesty, King Jaune Arc the Engraver, King of Lunaris! Speaketh thy names, and why thou do seek a audince with da, King!
Robyn: I am Robyn Hill, of Mantle, Leader of the Happy Huntresses. And, these are my companions, Fiona Thyme, May Marigold, and Joanna Greenleaf. We wish to ask for aide in the defence of, Mantle.
: Da Happy Huntresses…? Da fuck kind of name is dat! Sounds more like a name they’d give to some young whelps kiddy show!
Laughter echoed throughout the hall as the quartet turned to stare at a small woman, encase in deep scarlet armour with auburn gold details about it.
May: Told you we need to do some rebranding…
Wojtek: Kenina the Burnt One, of Clan Azar Blades. Have thou something to say?
Kenina: No, High-Shaman Wortjek. I have nothing to say.
Wojtek: Den’ allow our guest ta speak der minds.
Kenina bowed her head in respect to, Wortjek who bowed his in response. He then gestured with his hand to, Robyn to continue speaking.
Robyn: Thank you. We have come here today to first offer our warm greetings to the mountain folk, and ask for your help for the people of, Mantle.
Silence hung in the air, a few whispered words blew throughout the throne room until one voice spoke. It was a voice that echoed throughout the vastness of the mines with a might roar. A voice that struck like a hammer against blazing steel spoke. From upon the throne, a man with a crown of gold embedded with sapphires, and with a thick golden beard with clasps of silver, and ruby’s woven into it. Thick plated armour, of white, with gold rest upon his body, as he sat upon his throne as if he was carved from the throne itself.
For before them sat the King of the Mountain, King of the Kingdom of Lunaris. Jaune Arc, the Engraver.
Jaune: And, what… does da people of Mantle demand of my people, dat dey can’t beg from doe’s arrogant, Atlasian bastards?
Robyn: We don’t demand anything of you, we just ask for your help for the sake of the people of, Mantle.
Jaune: Da lines between, asking, begging, and demanding is, but a tone of ones voice.
It was a simple phrase that that effortlessly put, Robyn on the back foot. A simple phrase delivered with such gravity that shook their world to the core. But nonetheless, Robyn would not back down.
Jaune: However… I have yet ta ear yer request. So, tell me, ‘Little Bird…’ What do you ask of da, King of Lunaris?
Robyn: We ask for supplies: Supplies to help rebuild the walls of, Mantle. And, food to feed the people of, Mantle.
Jaune: Da walls of, Mantle are broken, and Atlas has not sought ta fix it: Why?
Robyn: Yes, the Grimm have breached the walls, and invaded, Mantle. They are in a desperate need of repair, and Atlas are not offering anything to fix this.
Jaune: Dat is an explanation, not an answer…
: My King. I wish to speak.
The group turned to see a short man, with a finely trimmed, and combed beard. A pair of black tinted glasses rested on his nose as he wipped a pipe with a handkerchief.
Jaune: Speak, Siriden the Forbidden Ismênê, of da’ Duibhin Clan?
Siriden: My thanks, my King. From what da Ravens say: Atlas is buildn sometin. Sometin dat requires a vast amount of der resorces ta build. What dat is, we know not.
Jaune: Hmmm… Do ye know, ‘Little Bird?’
Robyn: No; We have seen a massive amount of supplies being transported into the middle of the wastelands. We have tried to learn what they are doing, but no one is willing to tell us anything about it. We have asked time, and time again for their help, but they have offered us nothing.
Jaune: And, what do ye offer us for our aid?
Robyn: We offer our help to improve relations with, Atlas, and Mantle. One that will further benefit the Kingdom of Lunarisfor years to come.
A roaring cries of laughter soon erupted the halls of the throne room. Robyn, and her team looked about the hall in disbelief as it appeared they were all part of some sort of hidden joke.
Jaune: HAHAHA! I’m afraid ye offer of support in such a manner, is meaningless to us.
Robyn: What do you mean?
Jaune: Worjek.
Wojtek: Yes, my King?
Jaune: Summon da, Levana Fox.
Worjek bowed his head as held out his hand, the raven perched atop his staff landed on his out stretched hand. He whispered a few words to the bird before sending it flying away.
Minutes passed, the only sound being heard was the sounds of pipes being lit, and the sounds of smoke being blown through open lips. Soon the raven returned, and landed upon, Worjek’s staff. Soon a pair of door were heard opening, and from behind the kings throne entered a sight they did not expect to see.
: You summoned me, my King?
Joanna: What the hell?!
Fiona: I-Isn’t that, Winter Schnee? Specialist Winter Schnee?!
May; The fuck is going on?!
From the side of the throne, stood, Winter Schnee, dressed in an icy blue dress with bands of silver jewels with deep blue jewels embedded within them. Upon her head rested a circlet of gold, and silver. A smaller companion that matched against, Jaune’s crown.
Winter: You are both correct, and wrong. I am indeed Winter Schnee, but, I am no longer a Specialist in the service of, Atlas.
Robyn: Then, what are you…?
Winter: I am the Levana Fox. Consort to his majesty, Jaune Arc, the Engraver; King of Lunaris.
May: You’re his wife?!
Fiona: You’re the Queen then?
Joanna: Typical for a Schnee…
Winter: I am not the, Queen. That position belongs to another far more worthy of such a position.
Robyn: Wait… You have two wives…?!
Winter: More than two actually.
RFMJ: WHAT?!!
Winter: Do you have need of me, My King?
Jaune: Indeed. The, ‘Little Bird’ ere wishes for us ta give her, and Mantle, our elp. She’s offered to elp improve relations with der people of, Mantel. Splain to dem why dat ain’t happening.
Winter: Since this relates to me I believe it is for the best that I do as you ask, My King.
Winter, bowed to her lover, and king before she turned to address their guests.
Winter: As soon as I came here, I pledged myself to my, King. To be his consort, or whatever he decided of me. Graciously he accepted me as one of his many lovers.
Robyn: So you just met him, and asked to marry him…?
Winter: For a price.
May: What price?
Winter: I offered to help the kingdom smooth out their relations with the SDC, and the Kingdom of Atlas. However, despite my best efforts, they have both made impossible demands of us that we have most whole heartily refused. Such is the behaviour of my father, and General James Ironwood. They both see us as a threat that must be crushed: My father as a rival, and a threat for his Dust monopoly, and the General for our rapid, and overwhelming military strength. Because of this, I see little to no possibility for good relations between our two great kingdoms.
Robyn: No, there is a possibility of their being good relations between us!
Winter: And, how is that?
Robyn: The supplies we asked for, they are for the people of, Mantle, not Atlas. We ask for you to offer your support to the people of, Mantle, in doing so we can spread word of your good will to the people, and help provide the bases for good relations between our two great kingdoms.
Winter: That is a possibility… If enough of the people of, Mantle see us in a good light, Atlas will reap the benefits of such relatiobs. It should gradually ease the worried tensions the General has for us. My father, Jacques Schnee would still be upset however.
Robyn: Is there any way we could ease tensions between, Lunaris, and the SDC.
Winter: Short of the removal of my father from the, SDC. No, there isn’t.
The King stroked his beard as he hummed softly. He chuckled softly as he eyes scanning the room as he spoke.
Jaune: Where is, Gawen the Creator, of da Enver Clan! Is he ere, or is da git hobbled away in his lab again?
A small chortle of laughter broke out, soon followed by a cry of alert.
Gawen: Aye, my Lord, I am ere!
They saw a short man smoking on a pipe wave towards him. His thick, and long beard, was fazzled, and slightly burnt in some places. A thick leather apron covered him, filled with a wide assortment of craftsmen tools across his apron.
Jaune: Good. Lords, and Ladies, of da Arven Council! We shall offer aide to da citizens of, Mantle. First we we send them supplies of food. Gawen, send two of yer finest workers to inspect der walls. After dat, send forth a request for supplies to fix der walls. Understood?
Gawen: It will be done my, Lord.
Robyn: You willing to do this?!
Jaune: Indeed I am. Atlas, fears we desire war with dem. We desire peace, dis should help pave da way for said peace.
Robyn: I offer you my thanks, King Arc! This should help both the people of, Mantle. And, spread word of the kindness of the kindred of, Lunaris!
Jaune: I deed it shall. Now, go. We have much to do, and ye need yer rest. We shall talk more tomorrow.
Robyn, and her team respectfully bowed to the Mountain King as the made their way out of the throne room, with a smile on their faces, and pride at a job well done.
Fiona: We actually got help!
Joanna: Id didn’t think that would work…
May: I heard he was a hard ass, immovable like a mountain! But, I guess that rumour is just that, a rumour.
Fiona: Yeah, he seems far more appeasing than I thought too.
Robyn: Whether he is, or isn’t doesn’t matter. Now we have a chance to really help the people of, Mantle! And, that is all that matters, so come on girls, we have work to do!
FMJ: YEAH!
As the Happy Huntresses left the throne room, the King, and his councillors waited there for a moment before they resumed there council meeting.
Kenina: Is dis a wise decision, my King? Givin supplies to dos, ‘Happy Huntresses?’
Jaune: It is indeed; for how else da ya think we can test, Atlas?
Siriden: Ahh… You want ta see how dem, Atlasian’s will react ta us sending food ta, Mantle. If dey let, Mantle take da food, it’ll show, Atlas is willing ta work with us.
Winter: And, if they confiscate something as simple as food, it shows an unwillingness to cooperate with us on anything. And, based upon how the act, it will either make the people of, Mantle look favourably upon the Kingdom of Lunaris, or deepen the resentment of the people, Mantle towards the people of, Atlas.
Siriden: It is a lose, lose scenario for, Atlas. Damned if dey don’t, damed id dey do. Excellent choice my, King!
Jaune: Der request was simple… And, good favour may benefit us… But, knowledge on how da others see us, is far more valuable than a barrel of grain. Dis is a good test to see how dey will react to us. All that matters now is ta wait for da results…
Wojtek: But, what about da, ‘Discerner of Lies?’ What is your test for her, My King?
Winter: A test? What are we testing, Robyn Hill for?
Jaune: She was given da power ta ascertain truth from lies, and lies from truth. It tells us many things, my Love. Chief among dem is dat she is untrusting of others unless you agree with her truth, wholeheartedly.
Winter: Her truth?
Jaune: Aye, her truth… For a lie is da truth ta one, and da lie ta another. And, who is she ta say we are liars… Siriden!
Siriden: Yes, My King?
Jaune: Make sure da, Raven’s know der faces! And, make sure to inform me of der results!
Siriden: It will be done, My King.
Jaune: Good, very good… Now den… Let us wait, and see, what da, ‘Little Bird’ does…
///
Ahh! It took me days to write this! But, it is done! World building for the, Kingdom of Lunaris has begun!
Do enjoy~!

RWBY/Swords of Fate: Arc Kingdom
Chapter 2: The Beowolf Hunt
Team JNPR gathered together inside the basement to meet up with General Ironwood, Dr. Roman and Dr. Merlin.
Dr. Merlin: So then, it seems that you've decided to accept this mission of great importance.
Jaune: We have. If Remnant's at risk of destruction, then we're here to save it, regardless of whether it's our Remnant or someone else's.
Dr. Merlin: *smiles*I'm glad to hear that. It seems we've made the right decision in chossing you. James will explain how this is all going to work.
James: Once you step inside these coffins, you will be put to sleep. Through the control room upstairs, we will begin the process. Once the co-ordinates of the alternate Remnant are set, we will begin the transferring of the conciousness.
Dr. Merlin: You will also be able to see, hear, touch, taste and smell whatever your counterpart does. This world is not like yours, so you will need to adapt in order to survive.
Dr. Roman: I will be monitoring your vital signs throughout this mission. If I feel as though there might be any risk of you all dying, then we'll send you back here
Jaune: *gulps* G-Good to know, *nervous chuckle*
Nora: *raises hand* Can I ask you something, Dr. Merlin? What is with these suits you've given us?
Before they had accepted, Team JNPR were told to changes from their Combat Gear into white tunics and black trousers. Nora grimaced at this.
Dr. Merlin: These are called Mystic Codes. They allow for mana to flow through your body in order to make the transfer work more efficiently. This way, your body won't fall apart when the transfer occurs.
Nora: Ah, I see. Neat... but do they have to look so boring?
Dr. Roman: Boring? I find them to be quite stylish!
James: Ugh, can we please get down to the business at hand? Team JNPR, get inside the Coffins. We will begin the transfer now.
Team JNPR followed the General's orders and they each entered the Coffins. Jaune immidiately began to feel claustrophobic as soon as the lid closed. He could feel his breath start to weaken. But he clenched his fist as tried to bear with it. The General, Doctors, his Team and the alternate Remnant were counting on him. He had to stay strong. Trying to relax his muscles, Jaune closed his eyes as the Coffin put him to sleep.
[Control Room]
James monitored the Doctors as they made the preparations on the machines.
Dr. Roman: Vital signs look good. Body temperature is consistent with each other, no signs of any lacerations or internal bleeding.
James: Good. Merlin, have you set the co-ordinates yet?
Dr. Merlin: Doing so as we speak. *inputs the co-ordinates*
The co-ordinates were as followed, Remnant: Universe 531, Desination: Kingdom of Vale, Year: 6th January 212. Beginning Universe Transfer now! *types furiously*
Once the code was typed in, Merlin pushed the green button on his left. Suddenly, the Coffins began to glow in different colours; gold for Jaune, red for Pyrrha and bright pink for Ren and Nora. The lights began to rise up and dance around the room before they finally hit the hologram of Remnant 531. It was complete. However, James was far from happy.
Dr. Merlin: *stretches* Well I'd say that was a resounding success.
James: Indeed. Good job, gentleman.
Dr. Roman: Do you think sending them two years early was the best idea?
James: If we had sent them during the event of the Holy Grail, they'd struggle. We're sending them into an unfamiliar world. If they're going to accomplish the mission, they need to adapt to their surroundings. *sighs* May the gods guide them well.
—6th January 212 Second Age, Fateverse Remnant - Kingdom of Vale, Charlemagne—
[Arc House, Malbec Town]
Jaune: Gah! *pants furiously*
Jaune felt like his lungs were on fire and fell to his knees. He could see that something had changed since he entered the Coffin. His hands were cold from the sensation of snow. In his right hand, he was holding a wooden sword. Looking around, he found himself outside of a medium-sized, stone bricked house. The roof was blanketed over a thick layer of snow. Standing next to him were 3 older girls. One had bright blonde hair, just like his, but with golden-amber eyes and wore a red, long sleeved tunic and brown trousers. One had dark blonde hair and blue eyes like his, wearing a yellow short sleeved dress and another had a streak of green in her dark orange hair and also had blue eyes, wearing a dark green, short-sleeved tunic and white trousers. Jaune blinked twice in disbelief. They were his sisters; Rouge, Saphron and Verte.
Rouge: Jaune?! What happened??? *runs to him*
Saphron: Are you okay?
Jaune: *grunts* Um... I guess? *
Verté: *sighs* We told you that practicing out in the cold was a ridiculous idea. Come on inside. Noir and Blanc are cooking dinner.
Jaune: Wait, what? Since when were those two able to cook anything?
Verté: ...they've been cooking our meals since 3 years ago. You and Rouge were the ones who taught them. Are you sure you didn't hit your head?
Jaune: I-
Rouge: Just help him up, Verte. Come on.
Jaune dropped the wooden sword onto the ground while his sisters helped him back up. He shivered as the snow stuck to his knees.
Saphron: By the way, have any of you seen where Noir and Blanc have gone?
Verte: Oh they came back a while ago. They're in the kitchen cooking dinner.
Rouge: *eyes gleaming* Is it lamb stew again?
Verte: *smiles* Yep!
The four of them entered inside and Rouge took Jaune to the fireplace. She tossed a red Dust crystal onto a pile of wood and it ignited immediately. Jaune stretched out his hands and felt the warmth touch his skin.
Jaune: Mmmm, this feels nice.
Rouge: Make sure you don't fall asleep before dinner. You don't wanna miss out on the stew. *chuckles*
Jaune looked at the living room and was surprised. It looked pretty good. There were two benches place next to the fireplace opposite each other and a large bookshelf in the corner. Above the fireplace hung the portrait of a man in white armour and bearing the Arc emblem on his chest plate. On his left hand side, he carried a rather unfamiliar sword. It had a blue sheath that matched its handle and a cobalt gem embedded in the pommel. Its crossguard was a pale gold and surrounded by a ring. Upon closer inspection, Jaune noticed that he looked a lot like his father.
After 20 minutes of warming up, he was called by Verte to come into the kitchen. Jaune arrived to see Noir and Blanc carrying the pot over to the table. A large puff of steam escaped as soon as the two of them took off the lid. Everyone's eyes sparkled with hunger. The mouth-watering meat, crunchy carrots, hearty leaks and fluffy potatoes were swimming in a sea of delicious stew. Jaune wasted no time and dashed to the table.
Blanc: *giggles* Well someone's hungry!
Noir: He better be, we worked hard on this.
Jaune: Mmmmm!!! *munching and slurping* Guys, this is incredible!
Noir/Blanc: Thanks! *beams*
Rouge: So Jaune, tomorrow you'll be returning to Beacon. Have you packed everything you needed to?
Jaune nearly dropped his spoon. He just got here, he had no idea whether or not anything was packed. More importantly, he didn't even know which room he slept in. He had to think quickly to try and avoid any suspicion.
Jaune: Ummm, well... yes?
Rouge: Good to hear. *smiles and headpats him*
Jaune: Agh, Rouge, come on! I'm not a kid anymore.
Noir: Awwww, big brother's blushing!
Blanc: He likes it!
Jaune: I do not! *blushes* Hmph.
For the rest of dinner, Jaune tried his best not to speak, resulting in an awkward atmosphere. Even though they were his brothers and sisters, he was starting realise how different they were back on his Remnant. He also noticed how old fashioned this house really was. There was no sign of a TV, computer, scrollphone, fridge, or any kind of electrial appliance aside from the lights. He knew this was a different universe, but it was becoming clearer that Jaune was in a completely different time period as well. The more he thought about it, the more his head started to spin. After dinner was over, Jaune decided to go to bed early and stumbled his way up the staircase adjacent to the kitchen.
[Jaune's bedroom]
Jaune lay in his bed and stared at the ceiling. As soon as he got here, he had more questions than answers. His siblings didn't appear to be of any help and looked at him like he was crazy. He looked at around at his room and noticed it was much barer compared to the one in his Remnant. On the desk, he saw vials of dark blue Dust, along with some green, yellow and red. Next to them was his sword, Crocea Mors, sheathed in white and laying atop his shield.
Jaune: Well at least some things never change. *chuckles* I bet Ren, Nora and Pyrrha are having a much easier time than I am. *sighs* Agh. Why didn't Merlin tell us that we going back to the Dark Ages? It would've been helpful!
As he contemplated on whether this mission was even worth pursuing, Jaune heard a loud scream.
Jaune: What the-?
He walked to the desk and opened the window. The scream became louder, followed by snarls and howls.
Jaune: Grimm...
Taking his sword and shield, he hurried downstairs and burst open the door to the outside. Bracing the cold, he ran into the direction of the chaos.
[Vin Village]
Shadowy black wolves growled and snarled at the villagers. Atop their faces were bone-like masks and their eyes were a burning red. Men and women tried their hardest to fight back against the pack, but they were too strong. The beasts fought back and slashed at the people as if they were defenceless lambs. Many tried to run, but they weren't fast enough.
From within a small shrubbery, Jaune could see the attacks unfold. Grabbing his sword, he drew it and ran. With a mighty yell, he slashed at one of the beasts and chopped its arm clean off. It screeched in pain. Taking his sheath, he pushed a small button and it changed into a shield, with the emblem of the Arc Family at the front. The rest of the grimm set their sights on Jaune and surrounded him.
Jaune: Try and get as far away from here as you can. I'll hold them off.
Villager: Are you crazy? There's 7 beowolves there!
Jaune: I've handled these creatures before. I've got enough Dust with me. Just do what I say and get everyone to safety as quick as you can!
Villager: Alright. Good luck. *runs*
Jaune: *deep breath* Okay Jaune, it's just like back home.
Two beowolves lunged at him, baring their sharp claws and fangs. Immidiately, Jaune blocked them with his shield. His feet dragged against the snow as he was pushed back slightly. Raising his sword, he struck at one of them.
Jaune: Hah!!
He managed to land a scratch on its chest. The other beowolf tried to attack Jaune, but he dodged just in time.
Jaune: *grins* Yaah!
He thrusted his sword into its chest and yelled out in pain. Suddenly, Jaune noticed 3 of the beowolves running away from the village.
Jaune: Oh no you don't! *pushes beowolf with shield*
Before he could catch up to them, someone dropped down in front of the beowolves, armed with a black and red-bladed scythe. They wore a bright red cloak and their face was obscured with a hood. In a single stroke, they slew the 3 beowolves. Jaune was impressed.
???: Behind you!
Jaune: *turns around* Woah!
He narrowly avoided being scratched by a stray beowolf, losing his footing and falling to the floor. Instantly, the cloaked warrior dashed towards the grimm at top speed and blocked an incoming attack. Pushing the grimm back, they decapitated it with their scythe. Jaune shook his head and stood up. Gripping his sword as tight as possible, he and the cloaked warrior stood back to back was they were surrounded by the remaining 3 beowolves.
???: When I say 'now', we strike. Got it?
Jaune: Uh... yeah. G-Got it.
The beowolves slowly moved closer, growling. Jaune could feel his spine tingling.
???: Now! Sah!!! *slices beowolf*
Jaune: Hah! *stabs beowolf*
Jaune/???: YAAAAH!!! *chops beowolf in half*
The threat was over and the grimm crumbled into ash. Jaune turned to the cloaked warrior.
Jaune: *smiles* Thanks for the help.
???: *takes off hood* No problem, Jaune.
Jaune felt a wave of happiness as soon as the warrior unhooded herself. She had dark red hair, with bright red highlights and gleaming silver eyes. He felt stupid that he didn't recognise that it was Ruby earlier. He didn't stop to think about it and rushed towards her. He wrapped his arms around Ruby in a loving hug.
Jaune: I'm so glad to see you!
Ruby: Um... *nervous laughter and blushes* I'm glad to see you too. Is everything okay?
Jaune: Oh! *breaks hug*Uh, yeah. I-I'm fine. I-It's just nice to have help, hehe.
Jaune needed to remind himself that he had to be careful. This wasn't his world and his friends and family weren't exactly like they usually were either.
Jaune: Anyway, *ahem* how did you find out about the beowolf attack anyway?
Ruby: Oh, I heard about from a tavern at Malbec. Mom is not gonna be too happy when she finds out I've left. *nervous chuckle*
Jaune was surprised to hear Ruby mention her mom being upset. So she was alive in this universe, it seemed. Jaune shook his head to compose himself.
Jaune: I heard about the attack before I was gonna go to bed. I rushed here as fast as I could.
Ruby: Good thinking. Though you could've thrown on a coat at least, *chuckles* I gotta say, you've gotten much better since you started back at Beacon. I guess all those lessons with Mr Taurus have finally paid off.
Jaune: Mr... who?
Ruby: Mr Taurus You know, the combat instructor?
Jaune: Huh? I thought our combat instructor was Miss Goodwitch.
Ruby: ...
Jaune: What?
Ruby: Are you sure you're feeling okay?
Jaune: *groans* Man, everyone's been asking me that today. Don't worry about me, Ruby. I'm fine. How about we check up on the villagers instead? See if they need any medical attention.
Ruby: Hmmm, okay Jaune. We'll talk again later.
Ruby walked near the gate, where the villagers were gathered. Many of them thanked her and tried to give her gifts, much to Ruby's embarrassment. Jaune took one step and immidiately doubled over in searing pain. His head felt like it was being dragged across the ground. Suddenly, several images flashed in his mind. One of them was of a tall, spiky red-haired man with bronze eyes and black horns. Jaune was horrified as he recognised just who he was.
Jaune: *frantic gasping* No... A-Adam?! What the hell?! What the hell is going on?!
Jaune heard footsteps trudge along the snow and slowly looked up. It was Ozpin, dessed in black and green robes, lacking his trademark glasses and held a long, thin staff with an emerald on top of it.
Ozpin: Hello Jaune.
Jaune: O-Ozpin. *coughs*
Ozpin: Steady there. It's time you and I had a little chat.
Jaune: What about-?
Ozpin: I'll explain to Miss Rose about the situation later. In the meantime, I suggest you come with me. Your journey through the multiverse must've taken a toll on you.
Jaune: ...how did you know?
Ozpin: *smirks* Merlin sent me a little message.

OK, here web go
También RWBY
Ruby: Mercury becouse of her semblance and becouse in game Mercury have speed abilities.
Weiss: Merlín becouse the mage could teach her how to use and control her glyphs.
Blake: Bastet becouse she and the godess are cats and can bond over cats things.
Yang: Bellona becouse she is the godess of war and I picture her and Yang having the same desair of a good fight.
Team JNPR
Jaune: King Arthur becouse both of them are héroes of their history.
Nora: Thor, lightning semblance and lightning god.
Pyrra:I Know you chose Athena for her but I think Achiles is better pick (Pyrra represent Achiles in RWBY).
Ren: Ganesha, I picture them meditating and helping others Witherspoon their powers (Ganesha isnthe god of success).
If you are going to add the others teams an villains i am going to send you a part 2.
I like it so far. However i will say for merlin, arthur, & Achilles aren't technically deities, but mortal chanpions held in high regards. Essentially, they'd be resurrected to help train, teacher, & motivate the beacon crew.
Oddly enough, for ruby i was gonna do neith cause they both seem liked they be very hyperactive together. But mercury works better
Weiss i haven't though of one yet. But looking at the mage Roster, its gonna be between
Eset , goddess of magic (still a high chance)
Persephone, queen of the underworld
Blake & yang are fine. Already had those two goddess set for them.
Jaune....i choose hades, no idea why. But he might get horus, or i may keep hades as his guardian. If i do keep hades for jaune, i have a fun scene which he & cardin get into. That and his family having wholesome moments with cerberus
Nora was gonna be possessed by, freya queen of valkyries, and thor goes to taiyang.
Pyrrha was the interesting one. Cause in the AU, athena & bellona wanted to possess Pyrrha, but we beaten to it by amaterasu due to her kinda and some what pure nature. Leading her to be the mother figure of there troop.
Ganesha works for ren. I was gonna choose hou yi.
________________________________________
As for the other teams and villians here's the pitch.
Sun= sun wukong (for obvious reasons)
Sage= sobek maybe
Scarlet= work in progress
Neptune= poseidon. Namely cause poseidon forces Neptune in water alot, constantly reminds of his namesake
Coco = serqet. They both have a tendency to love fashion.
Fox: maybe tsukuyomi. Still open to change
Yatsuhashi = guan yy
Velvet = Chang'e obvious reasons
Cardin = zeus, namely because zeus loikes looking powerful, and cardin offers that (note cardin won't be a complete douche, but still kinda a douche)
Russel = maybe loki or not in this
Dove = wip or not gonna be featured
Sky = wip or not gonna be featured
Cinder = originally gonna be hel, but will change to sol or izanami
Emerald = maybe awilix or da ji, for her illusions
Mercury = chernobog
Neo= was gonna be izanami, but probably change to hel
Adam= susano, obvious reasons
Sienna=kali
Ilia = wip
Qrow = thanatos
Taiyand = thor previously mentioned
Raven=nemesis
Goodwitch = possibly anthena since she's a teacher. Or Nox or hera. Still subject to change
Port= odin for his love of the hunt
Oobleck=thoth obvious reasons
Ironwood = vulcan or tyr
Ozpin= Kronos, obvious reasons
Hazel= maybe atlas, cabrakan, or ravana. Subject to change
Watts = wip
Tyrian =bakasura. For reasons to be explained
Salem = the morrigan
Other characters are available from the rwby verse, but haven't put much thought into them honestly. So and suggestions work adrian is getting the powers of cupid. I will not argue this, for now

Rich Arc AU: After delivering the Lawsuit but before the case goes to court, the world reacting to all this. Special attention to Jaunes friends (some of them will be miffed that he didn’t pay for stuff) and White Fang and Beacon and Atlas (specifically Ironwood and Wonter).
In Mistral with Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren:
"WHHHHAT!? Jaune- Jaune's suing Weissy's family?!"
Ren uncovered his ears, now feeling a bit safer from Nora's shout. "Well... I believe it'd be more accurate to say that Jaune's family is doing the su-"
"AND HE'S RICH!?!?"
Ren got the full blast from that shout and leaned away from the louder girl, trying to get some distance for his already ringing ears before any more damage was done.
Pyrrha caught her male teammate before he fell all the way backwards. "I-It would appear so Nora. But I wonder why..."
"Well why wouldn't he tell us this stuff!?! Ever since he left us over break with Weissy, he barely talks to us!"
"Maybe he just doesn't feel comfortable talking about his family's wealth? And it is a break to be with Weiss and his family, I can understand if he's busy or preoccupied."
"But still! He can talk about anything with us! We're a team!"
Pyrrha sighed. Nora really had missed talking to Jaune daily like she used to, but it'd only been three days since they last talked. It wasn't that long really. "I'm sure he'll explain himself when we speak with him again. In the meantime though, my mother was wondering if you two would like to go out to eat tonight."
At the mention of dinner, Nora's eyes lit up brightly. "Oooh! Yes please!"
Ren raised a hand with a thumbs up in agreement with his childhood friend.
On Patch with Ruby and Yang:
The two sisters stared at the TV in their living room in absolute silence. Or at least until Yang finally spoke up a full two minutes after the breaking new report ended. "Ummmm Rubes?"
"Yeah Yang..."
"Did you know that... ummm..."
"That my first friend at Beacon was super, ultra, mega rich?"
"Yeah... that."
"No. I didn't."
"Okay... Cause if you hadn't shared that with your big sis, your single, big si-"
"YANG!?"
"Kidding!"
Belladonna household in Menagerie:
Blake stared at the TV with total interest, which was somewhat out of place with the introverted cat faunus. Her book was closed and forgotten on the tea table in front of her. She hadn't even marked the page before she slammed it shut so she could watch the news.
"Oh well I'll be. I never would have expected this to come about. Well, I had been wondering how Nicholas and Juniper had been doing. I suppose they're still doing well though if they're doing something like this."
Blake's mind came to a halt and her eyes snapped over to look at her Dad. 'Wait... what?'
Blake's mom rolled her eyes and took a sip from her tea. Kali set the cup down on the table and looked over straight at Ghira. "Well if we hadn't lost their contact information, we'd have been able to check in with them sometime during the last 15 years."
The mountain of a man groaned under her gaze and rubbed his forehead with his fingers. "How many times mu-"
Blake interrupted her parents right there. "Wait... you both know members of Jaune's family? The Arc's?"
Kali looked over to her daughter. "Why yes, or at least we did. Their family were some of the biggest supporters of the original White Fang. And very old friends of ours before that."
...
"What?!"
White Fang Hideout:
Sienna stared at the newspaper in her hands, feeling conflicted as a range of emotions ran through her head. Joy at seeing the Schnee's being taken on by a giant even bigger than them, curious at what made the Arc's act out like this after so long of being silent, and a mix of both shame and regret for what she had accused them of all those years ago and losing their support.
"Leader Khan?"
The tiger faunus looked up from the paper and down the stairs in front of her throne. The same messenger that had brought the newspaper in was standing there, nervously petting his own tail. "What is it?"
"W-will you be needing anything else from m-me ma'am?"
...
Sienna glanced down at the paper's headline once again. "Actually... yes. Send out word to all our members to stop all raids and missions unless they are utterly necessary. I believe we should get some old supporters back."
Headmaster's office in Beacon:
Ozpin sipped his coffee, not the least fazed by the reveal. After all, he had been around when most of the Arc's started their first businesses.
"It's safe to say that things will surely become a lot more interesting for Mr. Arc."
General Ironwood's office in Atlas:
"Specialist Schnee..."
Winter saluted her superior. "Yes, General Ironwood?"
Ironwood lowered his scroll, the latest news headline still on the screen. "...I suppose you had some knowledge of this prior to the news reporting it? Is that why you seemed a bit off a few weeks ago? And seemingly aren't very surprised by this?"
"S-sir?"
Ironwood sighed. The tone in her voice was a dead give away. "No matter, I suppose. I guess no matter what I do, the people of Remnant will always have something up their sleeves to catch me off guard. But tell me this Winter..."
Winter looked at Ironwood with total attention. "Yes sir?"
"... Is Jacques going to be an even bigger headache in the near future?"
"... I believe so sir."
Ironwood pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. Of course he would be.
