No because the nudity thing is genuinely really annoying >:( People gotta stop demonizing having a body. Like god forbid you draw a character who happens to have body parts that aren’t fully covered!! I'm not trying to be cunty... I think ppl should absolutely use whatever aids they need to get them to eat a good nutritious meal (frozen veg, insant noodles, whatever it may be, I use these things too!) and I get that lots of people don't have time or energy or money to cook from fresh. I really do understand that

But!! When I see a video of someone saying "hey, here's how I make something quick and easy when I don't want to cook" and it's like. Just something super easy (like just stir fryjng frozen pre-prepped vegetables), not really what I would describe as cooking, but still results in a good hot meal. And I'm like oh neat that is a good idea! How quick and easy :)

And then the comments are littered w/ people lime "girl I can't do this if I don't wanna cook! This is cooking!" it makes me sad. Like I said I *know* not everyone has time, money, energy, etc. to do that. but for those who do I really think that the next best thing u can do for yourself after brush your teeth, shower, and change clothes, is cook for yourself.

I've been there in depressive episodes where "I can't be bothered to cook" and guess what it led to eating disorders. I'm not trying to be cunty I'm just saying try and get used to the idea of standing up and stirring stuff in a pot for 10 minutes for yourself bc you're worth that effort !!!!!

My sister has already started being bullied by the white kids in her class for having body hair.

She's in 5th Grade.

Growing up as a brown girl, I had the same experiences with being ridiculed for dark body hair - on my legs, arms, face. I was emasculated by my peers and started over performing femininity. I began shaving behind my mamás back as soon as I started Middle School. It left me with scars from where I had a shaky hand and slipped, and I didn't know how to do it properly.

I bled to be "normal" by their standards.

From my trauma, I've been unable to shave in over a year. Now, I'm making the conscious choice to leave my body hair and embrace it - not for myself, but for my sister and for all the small brown girls who share our experience.

I'm still feminine and "normal" with body hair. It's beautiful and natural, thick and dark.

Let's change the standards, together.

tiktok is so weird... when i watched beauty vloggers on yt back in the days (like, idk... zoella) when they showed their clothes or stuff they bought and tried them on, you never saw these girls in their underwear. but on tiktok, all the randoms girls who do grwm and 'what i wear in the week', etc, not even influencers but just random girls... all post themselves in underwear as they put on the outfit... it just blows my mind that this is considered normal now.

Anon you’re sooooo right. Even though I’ve long deleted TikTok I found it so weird how “intimate” you engage with content creators on the app. It encourages you to show even more of your personal life than YouTubers (who I think have generally been good at creating a distinct public persona). I think of said it on here before that I genuinely don’t believe minors (or at least under 16 years olds) should legally be allowed to show the face on public social media. The idea that a video of a 14 year old in half-naked workout wear is out there on the internet forever is so terrifying for so many reasons.
