Norman bates is the one for you
Norman is gets where your coming from when you say that your shy and quite, he is a very awkward man sometimes so he definitely relates, and wouldn’t try to push you out of your comfort zone as he wouldn’t want anyone to do the same to him.
Norman does have a soft spot for baking so if he sees that you are in the kitchen making something he will join in and try to help in anyway he can. Same goes for reading, of he sees you reading he will join with a book of his own and a smile on his face.
Norman loves that you try o make people conformable so he’ll have you help around the hotel and with the people staying there, he hopes you don’t mind and trys to make up for you having to help around.
While Norman isn’t a big fan of horror movies he will stop and try to get some for you that he thinks you’ll like, but he will most likely not be joining you when it comes to watching them, but if you coax him into it he may watch a horror movie as long as it isn’t to scary. Same goes for plushies, he doesn’t quite understand why you like them but he dosent mind getting you some of those as well if he’s out and about
- Movies Inspired By Ed Gein -
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Ed was the inspiration for the character Leatherface. The similarities between Ed and Leatherface are extremely noticeable, the grave robbing, the mask made of human skin and most of all the house items made of human body parts
Psycho (1960)
Ed was the inspiration for the character Norman Bates. They both have a fascination with their mother. The author of the novel Psycho, Robert Bloch, would later admit his surprise at having “discovered how closely the imaginary character I’d created resembled the real Ed Gein both in overt act and apparent motivation.”
The Silence Of The Lambs (1991)
Ed along with Ted Bundy, Gary Heidnik, and Edmund Kemper was the inspiration for the character Buffalo Bill. This character wears a women suit which was something Ed did too
I like them bad boys.
Seriously.
I prefer Sebastian over Jace
Maven over Cal
Draco over Harry
I like Michael and Tate Langdon
Loki over Thor
Luke over Percy
Anakin over Luke
Nico die Angelo is just a cute depressed baby, but I’ll put him on this list anyway
Kylo over Luke
I like Cardan (but not in the first book of the series)
Hort over Tedros (Hort isn’t a bad guy, but anyway)
Aric and Japeth (great couple) over Tedros
Literally all the prince’s of hell in the Shadowhunter Universe
Norman Bates
Please feel free to recommend other book series with great, complex and if possible likeable villains/anti-heroes
Before you ask: Yes, Star Wars are books too. You can read Star Wars books. Not just the books to the movies, but series which can stand on their own.
i keep coming up with weirder and weirder ideas to draw.
imagine a LOGAN style movie except is with angela from sleepaway camp and norman from psycho. as norman is running away from white pine bay, chased by police, he comes across a young girl wandering the forest near a deserted summer camp, she’s naked and covered in blood that is mostly not hers. some mysterious subconcious motherly instinct makes him decide to take care of her.
they go on a road trip across america and come across famous serial killers from the movies like buffalo bill and patrick bateman and the creep from seven. they talk a lot about their respective other figures, angela gives “norma” some fashion tips. they have a lot of fun
Norman Bates wasn’t a criminal he was just using his one free murder that he got as a service industry worker
PSYCHO II (1983) dir. Richard Franklin
