Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 5 review: And I am all caught up. I must say, that wedding was disastrous as was Leslie and Ben's wedding from Parks and Recreation. I love how political this show can get. How real the themes the writers use in order to send a point. I also love how they do not really become too political. They understand when to be serious and when not to. I also love the episode where it only includes 3 main characters for the entire episode. Lastly, it definitely was a great change to see that, for once, the season did not end on a bad note. It finally ended with a wedding. However, I did not like how they leave us hanging if Captain Holt got the job or not. Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 4 review: I must say, the way they handle the season finales for this show is amazing! They definitely stepped it up from season 3. Serious impacts towards the squad and to Jake. The interactions amongst the squad are amazing! I also love that Boyle finally has achieved happiness with his wife and son. What definitely impressed me with this season was the utilization of real-life events, such as Sergeant Terry Jeffords getting stopped by another cop due to blatant racism. It was impactful, the story about how Jeffords got inspired to become a cop was too good. Amazing performance by Terry Crews, as well as Andre Braugher. Another thing I love is the inclusion of Chelsea's pregnancy. It took a while for me to realize why she looked different (to be honest, it took me so many episodes to realize. She does not change looks).
