Come find me in the next life
Locklye x North and South (2004) crossover
An au in which Lucy and Lockwood are reincarnations of Margaret Hale and Thornton
An idea I had bc of Ruby and Cameron’s resemblance to Daniela Danby-Ashe and Richard Armitage
A version in which ghost! Margaret is less disappear-y

I finally found this copy of "North and South" by Elizabeth Gaskell. I've been looking for it ever since I watched the 2004 BBC mini series version starring Daniela Denby-Ashe and Richard Armitage. For some reason, this novel is not usually available in bookstores near our area so I had to resort to buy it online. It's quite expensive and has some dent but it's still in good condition. I'll read this later.

THATSCARLETFLYCATCHER'S 1000 FOLOWERS CELEBRATION
A favorite scene from North and South (2004) as requested by @haly-reads
"A sense of change, of individual nothingness, of perplexity and disappointment, overpowered Margaret. Nothing had been the same; and this slight, all-pervading instability, had given her greater pain than if all had been too entirely changed for her to recognise it.
“I begin to understand now what heaven must be—and, oh! the grandeur and repose of the words—‘The same yesterday, to-day, and for ever.’ Everlasting! ‘From everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God.’ That beautiful sky above me looks as though it could not change, and yet it will. I am so tired—so tired of being whirled on through all these phases of my life, in which nothing abides by me, no creature, no place; it is like the circle in which the victims of earthly passion eddy continually."
