'ELLO! I wanted to request something simple and angsty but turns into fluff. So basically R was getting bullied in highschool. At the time Regina and R were dating. R and her family got into a car crash. R faked her death after finding out her father passed after waking up in the hospital. Regina visits R grave and states how she's upset that R left her all alone. But when Cady arrives at Northshore. R popped back into town and waltzed into the cafeteria unannounced to Regina. Obviously R gets a slap to the face and a whole bunch of kisses from Regina. R says how she just had to get away from the bullies and Regina can't even be made at her.

Come Back To Me
Tumblr media
Description: Reader loves Regina but hates North Shore. People bully her, even knowing who her girlfriend is. To make matters a lot worse, her and her dad are hit by a drunk driver, killing her dad. Reader wakes up in the hospital, heartbroken by the news. She decides to leave, leaving behind Regina, who believes her girl is dead. After a year supposedly "dead", Reader returns to North Shore, shocking everyone, including Regina.
WARNINGS: this is going to be a RIDE, angst with a happy ending, car crash, mention of death, sad regina, mentions of injury, regina slaps reader, fluffy towards the end i promise.
Life sucked for Y/N Y/L/N.
She was a freshman at North Shore High School and ever since middle school, she was mercilessly bullied by her classmates.
She was shoved into lockers on the daily, berated by football players, called slurs and derogatory names. The whole nine yards.
Y/N didn't have a reason to live, or at least that's what she thought. A ray of light entered her life towards the end of seventh grade.
That ray of light was Regina George.
Regina had defended her from a bunch of football boys when they had cornered Y/N after school. They had planned on jumping her but the blonde had stopped it, threatening to tell the principal and make their lives hell.
Since then, Regina hadn't let Y/N out of her sight. Even though the whole school knew not to mess with Y/N, that never stopped them. They just messed with her behind Regina's back. Y/N never told Regina, she didn't want to worry her.
When they got to high school, the bullying got worse. It got more physical. The jocks would always get Y/N when Regina or the plastics weren't around. They always made sure to not bruise somewhere that was visible.
The only one who knew about the bullying was her dad. He had gone to the principal and the school board but since he had no proof, they couldn't do anything. He had been the one to help Y/N with her bruises and injuries. He had been the one she ranted to.
He was her rock.
Nothing could prepare Y/N for what would happen to him.
It all happened so fast. They had gone out to dinner, her dad hoping to lift her mood. He had taken Y/N to her favorite Italian restaurant and taken her to ice cream after. They were waiting at a stoplight, singing loudly to her dad's favorite 80s rock. The light turned green, Y/N felt immense pain, and everything went black.
The next day, Regina walked into school looking at her phone worriedly. She hadst heard from Y/N since yesterday. The last text Y/N had sent her was that her dad was taking her out to dinner. She spotted Karen and Gretchen in the hall and approached them.
"Have you guys heard from Y/N?" The girls shook their heads but before they could speak, Principal Duvall came on the intercom.
"Can I have Regina George, Gretchen Wieners, and Karen Shetty to my office, please. Immediately."
The trio looked at each other confused and headed to his office.
Their parents were waiting for them.
All three girls felt numb listening to the words leaving Duvall's mouth.
Regina screamed as she felt her world collapse around her.
Y/N woke up a few days later, confused to her surroundings. She spotted her grandparents sitting next to her bed. The two burst into tears at the sight of their granddaughter awake. Her grandpa went to get the doctor as her grandmother gently kissed her head.
Y/N felt pain radiating through her body. Her head was wrapped in a thick layer of gauze, her arm was in a cast, as was her left leg. She felt bandages wrapped around her torso and her shoulder. Her mind was foggy so she asked her grandmother what happened.
Her grandmother's breath hitched as her grandpa returned with the doctor. The doctor had gone over the extent of her injuries, explaining that she was hit by a drunk driver.
Then, Y/N asked the question everyone was dreading.
"Where's my dad?"
Y/N's heart dropped and she became numb.
Regina walked up the familiar path, holding a bouquet of pink roses and carnations, her girl's favorite flower.
It had been almost two years since she lost the love of her life. She had felt numb ever since that day in Principal Duvall's office. She had become a shell of her former self. How could she go on? Her other half was dead.
The numbness was constant. She just went through the motions of each day. Get up, go to school, come home, cry, sleep, repeat. Her mom had put her in therapy to help her cope, but it wasn't working. Regina just went to get her mom off her back.
She finally made it to where she was going, gently putting the flowers on the grave.
"Hi baby. It's me again. I miss you more and more everyday. I wish you were still here with me. I never thought I would have to start a school year without you. We've always been together on the first day of school."
Regina sniffled, tears running down her face. "Karen and Gretchen miss you a lot. They miss their gossip buddy. They have so much to tell you. I miss your laugh. I miss your hugs. I miss your kisses. I miss everything about you baby."
She wiped her tears again. "They finally caught that guy that hit you and your dad. The bastard got life in jail. He can rot in hell for all i care." She sobbed quietly.
"It's so hard doing life without you Y/N. I don't think I can do it much longer. I just wanna be with you again. I just wish I could go back in time and change everything. You and your dad would be here." Her phone pinged. She looked down, seeing a text from her mom, informing her that Karen and Gretchen were at their house, ready for their annual first day sleepover.
She smiled and wiped her tears again. "That's my cue baby. I wish I could stay longer. I'll be back tomorrow to tell you all about it." She kissed her fingers and gently touched the stone. "I love you baby."
She walked away from the tombstone, heading to her jeep and heading home. Her, Karen, and Gretchen all cried together that night. They were not prepared for what was going to happen tomorrow.
Y/N woke up the next morning, feeling nervous. She was going back to North Shore. She had convinced her mom and stepdad to move back to the district. Her mom had called the school and explained everything to them, from the car crash to now.
The school was very understanding and got Y/N re-enrolled quite quickly. Her mom came into her room after she got dressed. "You ready, baby?" Y/N nodded and took a deep breath. "Mom? What if she's moved on?"
Her mom came and hugged her. "If she's moved on, she's moved on. Baby, she's been under the impression that you died, remember? She can't be faulted for moving on. But just know, that girl loved you so much. I don't think she's moved on, sweetie."
Y/N nodded and took another deep breath.
"Okay. Let's do this."
Regina walked into North Shore, Karen and Gretchen flanked behind her. They all walked to Regina's locker. Gretchen felt her phone buzz, indicating a text. "Ooh! We have a couple new students!" Her thumbs began typing back a reply as Regina smirked.
"New students? Interesting." The bell interrupted them as they all went their separate ways. Cady Heron was waiting in the office for her schedule when a girl came walking into the office. She shyly waved at the girl who smiled brightly back.
"Hi, I'm Cady Heron!"
"I'm Y/N Y/L/N. Nice to meet you, Cady."
The two chatted as the school secretary came with their schedules, the woman welcoming Y/N back to the school. Cady looked at her confused. "I thought you were new?" Y/N shrugged. "It's a long story. Let me show you where your homeroom is."
After showing Cady to her homeroom, she waltzed into her homeroom, the teacher barely sparing a glance at the girl. The students however, began talking, jaws dropped at the girl who apparently rose from the dead.
News spread like wildfire and by lunch, everyone was talking about it. When Regina sat down, Gretchen told her that everyone was saying a girl that looked just like Y/N was one of the new students. Regina scoffed. "Yeah, I'll be the judge of that. Y/N was one of one Gretchen."
The blonde stopped Gretchen from talking as she saw Cady walk into the cafeteria. Curiosity got the better of her as she called the girl over. She began to make small talk with the short girl, liking her already.
The conversation was cut short by Gretchen screaming. "OH MY GOD!" She got up and took off running to the newest student to walk into the cafeteria. Regina couldn't see who she was hugging but Karen could and also screamed before running in the same direction Gretchen did.
The blonde excused herself from the shorter girl to see what the ruckus was about. As she got closer, she froze in her tracks.
No. It couldn't be.
Regina's heart began to race as Gretchen and Karen pulled away from the stranger. Then, Regina made eye contact with familiar Y/E/C eyes.
Y/N.
The girl smiled at the blonde, her heart racing at seeing her girlfriend for the first time in a long time.
"Hi Gina." Regina shook herself out of her stupor, walking up to Y/N and slapping her. Hard. The cafeteria went silent and Y/N went to speak but was cut off by Regina's lips.
Regina felt her world become complete again as her and Y/N kissed for the first time in almost a year. Y/N could taste the saltiness of Regina's tears but she didn't care. She missed Regina.
The two kissed for a couple more minutes before Regina pulled away and placed kisses all over Y/N's face and burying her face in Y/N's neck.
"I thought I lost you. Don't EVER fucking do that again." Y/N smiled and kissed Regina's temple. "Never again baby. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere." The plastics lead Y/N to their table to explain everything.
By the time Y/N was done explaining, the three girls were sobbing. Regina was clinging to Y/N's side. "I'm so sorry you went through that baby. But I'll never let it happen again. I'll protect you. I'm sorry I didn't do more baby." Y/N shook her head. "It's not your fault baby. The past is in the past. I'm here. Let's focus on the now."
The girls nodded, Regina gently kissing a scar on Y/N's cheek.
The bell rang and the girls reluctantly parted from Y/N, with the promise of seeing the couple after school. Regina didn't wanna let go, she didn't want it to be a dream. She offered to skip, which Y/N reluctantly went with, making sure to shoot her mom a text as to what was happening.
Regina led Y/N to her jeep, and drove to her house.
After a tearful reunion with Regina's mom, and a couple of rounds of "I missed you" sex, the two laid in bed in comfy clothes. Regina traced shapes on Y/N's stomach, her head laying on the girl's chest.
"I thought I lost you forever, baby. I never want go through that again." Y/N kissed Regina's head, pulling her closer. "I know baby. And I'm so sorry. But I'm not going anywhere ever again. You're stuck with me."
Regina giggled and kissed Y/N gently.
"I can live with that."

Six Years Ago….
No one ever got a table at Federicos. No matter how early someone called to ask for a reservation they would tell you they were booked out weeks in advance. If you did get a table they would cancel the reservation on you, apologizing for the important event they had to host. Everyone in town knew this challenge, but that didn’t stop anyone from trying to get inside.
Well, at least that was how it was for everyone besides the Targaryen family. The Targaryens owned all kinds of shops and restaurants across King’s Landing that were fronts for their other dealings. But Federicos was special because it was just a gathering spot meant for celebrations and get-togethers, the family friend who owned it always had the private room of the restaurant ready for use in case the family had a need for it.
Aemond didn’t tell you much about the family business, you only knew bits and pieces from overhearing conversations or from the gossip of those in the city. He always said that he never liked the idea of you being caught up in the craziness of it all.
You’ve known Aemond since grade school, basically grew up together. You’d always catch him staring in Science and English. It was only in highschool when his locker was next to yours did he finally start talking to you. Those brief conversations quickly turned into study sessions during study hall, which turned into after school plans, which turned into him asking you out.
But tonight, the first big homecoming dance of your senior year, Aemond had booked the private room of Fredericos to celebrate with all your friends. You would say that everyone was going their own way but everyone who grows up in King’s Landing usually stays, either opting to start work right away or going to Citadel University.
Unbeknownst to everyone, not that it was their business anyway, you had applied out of the city, far away places. You had gotten into all of them but were still waiting to hear back from your top school at North College of Winterfell.
Your phone pinged with a text from Aemond telling you he was waiting outside.
You finished getting ready, though, Federicos was a formal place you never went over the top. You opted cute and semi-formal, since you were heading to the dance right after. You quickly stuffed your purse with the essentials before bounding down the stairs.
You walked past your passed out father, the typical beer cans surrounding him, and headed for the door when you noticed today's mail had slipped through the door’s mail slot. You would have stepped over it all when you noticed a big thick envelope at the bottom of the pile.
Bending down you grabbed the letter, flipping it over to see it was addressed to your from Winterfell. You quickly opened it, heart hammering in your chest when you read the words you didn’t know you were hoping to see.
Congratulations.
********
There were people who you never wanted to see again from King’s Landing and there were people who you couldn’t wait to see.
Vincent Federico was someone who you could not wait to see.
The small Italian man was as heartwarming as his meatballs and was always willing to do what he needed to help. When he first heard of your moving out after your blow out with your father, he offered you a job as a waitress to help keep you off the streets. When he found out that you were leaving for Winterfell he didn’t say a word to Aemond about it, keeping it a secret until the very day of your departure.
Of course he would say he knew nothing about it, but you knew he had overheard your conversation with Baela that night.
Now walking into Federicos the nerves hit you all at once. Vincent smiled as he saw you come in from where he sat at the bar, getting up from the stool to envelope you in a big bear hug.
“Long time no see, kid.” The man grinned in a way that his gold tooth where his left canine should be shimmered in the light.
“I know, I tried to visit but I didn’t want to ruin business.”
He waved you off. “You're outta your mind.”
“No hug for me Vinnie?” Baela piped up from next to you.
Vinnie grinned wrapping his arms around her, lifting her up off the ground before setting her back on her feet. “I saw you last week, you miss me that much?”
“Of course.”
“Careful, Jace might get jealous.”
“Jace knows that our relationship is one of pure garlic bread, he knows better than to interfere.”
Vinnie chuckled, waving his hand as he turned toward the tables. “Follow me, I got your favorite table all prepared.”
He seated us at the corner booth that overlooked the restaurant. Vinnie had already set out a plate of his famous garlic bread, knowing it was your favorite, as well as having already poured your favorite wine. Since Baela and you have been coming here for years, you already knew what you were getting and put your orders in.
Baela and you started catching up on the things that you weren’t able to share over the phone. Baela caught you up on the latest gossip of the city, of the schoolmates you left behind. Unsurprising, a majority of your graduating class  still lived in King’s Landing.
Which meant you were bound to run into someone eventually.
“So,” you started taking a sip of your wine. “What’s the plans looking like for you and Jace?”
By now your meals had arrived, in between mouthfuls of spaghetti Baela asked. “What do you mean?”
“I’m just trying to get an idea of who’s gonna get the apartment in our divorce.”
“Why? Sick of me already?”
You chuckled. “No, I just mean with how serious Jace is I’m surprised you two haven’t made bigger moves for the future.”
“We’re still young, marriage now is like being a child bride.”
You grinned, understanding the feeling. “Oh, I know. But have you two talked about moving in? I mean you’ve been together since middle school, you know everything about each other.”
“We knew everything about each other.”
“What do you mean?”
“Ever since he officially became part of the family, he doesn’t tell me as much. He keeps secrets from me, tells me it's for the best and that he’s protecting me. I don’t know, this probably sounds cliche.”
“It does,” you admit, but you remembered a similar feeling when you dated Aemond. “But that is who he is now.”
“Can I ask you something?”
You leaned closer. “Anything.”
“If the shooting never happened, would you have ranaway?”
You played with the rim of your glass, causing a slight high pitch noise. “I think I would have left eventually.”
“Would you have left with Aemond?”
You looked up meeting Baela’s eyes. “I think if everything didn’t go down as it did I would have stayed here and I would have regretted it like my mother did.”
“Is it really so bad?” She asked. “Being here, being with us?”
I shook my head, about to respond when a hand slapped down on the table, nearly spilling the wine. Alys Rivers leaned down smiling sweetly at you.
“Look who's back in town.”
Her green eyes were like daggers as she looked you up and down. You returned the gesture noting her skintight red dress, her too tall heels.
You smiled. “I see you haven’t changed since highschool Alys.”
She whipped her dark hair over a shoulder, threading her fingers through the strands. “Well, I hope you’d see some change in me (Y/N), I certainly see you have changed.”
You remained composed, taking a sip of wine. Even though she was three years older than you she still found it in her to act like the child she did in highschool. Aemond always told you it was because her dad didn’t give her enough attention but you knew she hated you because you didn’t come from a well off family. You didn’t back down then and you certainly weren’t going to back down now.
“So what have you been up to?” You asked, faking nice.
“Oh, I’ve joined the family business.” She made note to move her left hand to the side of her lips, bringing attention to the ring on her finger.
Your ring. The same oval diamond ring you saw four years ago.
Which meant…
You let your eyes widen for a second before composing yourself. “Wow, congratulations! I’m happy for you.”
“Aren’t you going to ask who the lucky man is?”
She would not win, you wouldn’t let her. You can spiral later, but not in front of her.
You shot a look at Baela to find her frowning at her plate, she knew and she didn’t tell you. Now you were in the midst of a battle of wills and she was trying to sit it out.
Hell no.
You kicked Baela under the table, gaining her attention. If she was going to keep something like this from you, the least she could do is help.
Baela cleared her throat. “Who is the lucky guy Alys?”
“Well, you should already know who it is,” she waved Baela off. “It’s Aemond of course. We’ve been going out for the past three and half years, now. The proposal was long overdue.”
“Of course, you aren’t getting any younger are you?”
Alys sucked her teeth. “What a joy it is to have you back in the city, (Y/N). You’ve really been missed. I just hope that the Targaryen are as welcoming as I am.”
“She doesn’t have any involvement with the Targaryens anymore, Alys.” Baela sat up straighter at the mention of the family.
Her family now.
“Of course she does. Aemond told me everything about your relationship you know,” she leaned closer. “I just hope they don’t find out the real reason you left.”
Your heart sank but you kept your composure. You finished your wine. “I have no idea what your talking about.”
Alys grinned, clearly satisfied. “Well, it was nice running into you. Send my regards to Jace, Baela.”
She went to leave but before you were relieved of her presence she reached into her black hermes bag and pulled out an envelope, setting it on the table.
“Aemond and I would love to have you at our celebration dinner.” With that she blew you a kiss and joined her friends in the private room.
You didn’t look at the invitation as you grabbed it off the table and shoved it in your bag. “What the fuck just happened?”

Heat Kills
Plot: Reader has an heatstroke caused by an intensive workout.
Maya Bishop x Carina DeLuca x reader
Tumblr media
You can't stand the heat; you’ve hated it since you were little, always. When summer came, you were happy just because school was over but, at the same time, you hated the forty degrees you had to endure every single day.
Then you became a professional soccer player and, having always played on teams up north, you never felt as hot as you did this season with the OL Reign. Although the Seattle Women's soccer Team has been a great benefit in your career, this scorching heat is truly terrible, especially since you are not used to it.
A small sigh leaves your lips as you grab your water bottle and tuck it into your backpack, ready to face a scorching workout in the ten o'clock morning sun.
"Good morning Bella, where are you going?" Carina hugs you from behind, her breasts pressing against your back as she fondles your butt with an amused smirk on her face.
"Car I'm on my way to practice and I'm already late ... as much as I would like to slam you against this table, unfortunately I can't."
You turn around, staying in her arms and kissing the tip of her nose with a smile.
Carina pouts, and after a few seconds, just long enough for her brain to work and understand what you've just told her, her gaze changes to a frown of confusion and concern at the same time.
"The weather alert has been issued, didn't you see it Bambina? You can't train in this heat, it's going to be 104° F out there..."
You sigh and shake your head slightly. You knew this conversation would happen, and you also know how it will end. Probably with a gorgeous, sexy Italian doctor very pissed off at you.
"Car, I can't miss another workout. Less than two weeks ago I was sick and couldn't train for almost a whole week, I can't miss any more days. I have to earn my place on the team, you know it's important to me…like this"
Carina shakes her head several times, hard. She tortures her lower lip, clenching it between her teeth, and although you find it very sexy, the particularly pissed off look on the Italian's face gives you pause to comment on how hot she is when she does this.
"You'll get sick if you run in this heat. They can't make you train with a weather alert, è sconsiderato e stupido. Cazzo."
Your lovely girl rants in her native language, and you foolishly fail to control yourself and let your eyes wander to the clock hanging on the wall behind the angry doctor.
You had never done that before.
"Are you really thinking you're going to be late? No way, you can't really think about going y/n. Ugh, who am I kidding? Of course you want to go, sometimes I think you're worse than Maya...you know what, fai come ti pare."
"Carina, wait-"
Before you can even try to stop her and reason with her, the brunette locks herself in your bedroom slamming the door and making the whole apartment shake.
You know her, you know that she just has to let the pissing go now. So, despite the knot in your stomach from the fight and with the excuse of giving her the space she needs, you bend down to pick up your duffel bag and then leave the apartment, stuffing your car keys into the left pocket of your shorts, ready to head to the soccer field.
.........................................................................................
After only an hour and a half of practice, you realize you've screwed up big time when you start to lose all feeling in your body and feel like you're floating on air. Your teammates are no better off than you are.
You cast a glance at Coach Harvey, praying that she will notice the terrible condition you are in but you doubt it. After all, she is sitting in the shade and with all this heat you doubt she is really watching you. At least, not today.
The ball is put back in the middle, after Clarke has scored one of her famous goals, and the coach blows her whistle. You run nonstop to get to Clarke's side; you cross the half-court line and are careful not to be offside as you pass the ball between you over and over again.
You don't know how but suddenly you are no longer in control of your body and your right foot ends up over the ball instead of to the side. In less than a second, you find yourself on the ground groaning in pain as soon as you hit the ground.
"Fuck."
You snort, wrinkling your nose and taking the hand offered to you without even understanding who is offering it to you. Octavia gives you a smile, although she can't really hide the worry on her face.
She helps you to your feet and puts a hand on your shoulder.
"You don't look so good, are you okay?"
Meanwhile, the other girls have taken the opportunity there to take a break and drink some water, and you don't blame them, especially considering that you still have another hour of training ahead of you.
Octavia Blake is many things but she is definitely not a quitter. Never.
"You're really hot y/n, are you sure you feel good?"
You don't answer her, you don't feel good at all, and you can't even understand her.
"I don't think Carina and Maya would agree, you know? I'll take you to them."
You don't really understand what she is saying, not at all. The heat clouds your mind; you run a hand over your forehead, you have the impression that you are dripping with sweat but actually you are not, your hand is completely dry when you pull it back.
Not good, not good at all. A cold shiver runs down your spine as you lean against Octavia making her support you even more and she is the one who supports you even more.
From that moment until she takes you to Station 19, you don't notice anything, just her shaking you from time to time as you go, calling your name several times as you continue to lose consciousness. The only time you realize you are at the station is when Andy and Vic help Octavia get you out of the car.
They’re probably calling your name but you can't answer; honestly, you don't even know how you are there, really.
You don't know how much time has passed, but you only begin to understand what is going on around you because of your Italian girlfriend's warm hands caressing your face.
"Bambina, bambina look at me. Are you okay? Can you hear me?"
Carina swipes a strand of wet hair from your forehead, bringing it behind your ear. The doctor pulls a small flashlight out of her gown, turns it on and holds it in front of your eyes while she holds your head still.
"Y/n, follow the light, honey. Follow the light, okay?"
You wrinkle your nose, and the nausea you have been feeling up to this point only increases as you are blinded by the flashlight.
You scan Carina with one arm, turn onto your side and vomit all the contents of your stomach onto the floor.
Carina strokes your back, trying to give you as much comfort as she can, while Andy shoves an IV of cold fluids into you.
"Andy, call Maya. I think the heat stroke is a lo worse than I thought. She's not even sweating..."
As soon as Carina sees Andy running down the hall to find your firegirl, she immediately turns to you and takes the thermometer out of Vic's hands. She sticks it in your mouth, even though you are not very cooperative, and waits for you to make the sound to check your temperature: 104° F.
Carina gasps and her heart stops for a few seconds; she is more than aware that such a temperature is very dangerous and could even make you convulse.
You start sobbing and try to reach Carina with clumsy and uncoordinated movements, seeking the comfort of a hug. You feel so bad that you do not realize what you are doing; it is as if you have no control over your body. Your confused state only makes the doctor more concerned.
"Bella we can't, your temperature is too high."
Carina bites her lip, trying not to cry. She wants to hold you in her arms but she can’t.
"Car..."
Carina feels her heart stop when suddenly your eyes roll back and your body is suddenly shaken by convulsions.
"Damn it, no no no. Come back to me, Bella.”
Carina turns you on your side, pulling up the arms of the cot and takes care of your head.
"Vic, give her a 12-mg Diazepam drip!"
Vic goes to the station's medical supplies in a flash and rummages around until she finds what Carina asked for. She prepares the solution and inserts the IV into your left arm, which Carina says is your best arm for targeting veins.
In less than three minutes your body has stopped moving. Carina pulls your hair back from in front of your face and leaves a kiss on your forehead before unwinding the IV bag a bit to check the speed at which the drug is being administered.
"Carina!"
Maya Bishop, Captain of Station 19 as well as your girlfriend, comes running up to you. Concern fills her blue eyes that you love so much.
"What happened? Andy told me you were with her but she didn't tell me what it was about..."
Maya takes your hand between her own wincing in shock when she feels how much heat your skin is giving off.
"Shit, she's burning up. We have to get her to Grey's Sloan."
Carina and Maya exchange a glances. Carina twists her lower lip between her teeth and runs a hand through her hair. Both you and the blonde know that this gesture indicates that the brunette is very worried about something.
"No, you know how much she hates Bella hospitals. We can't, we can't do that to her. Let's take her to your office and use your shower to cool her down."
Maya leans over to take you in her arms but Carina stops her, shaking her head firmly.
"You have to be very careful Maya, we shouldn't even be moving her but we need to get her temperature down quickly. She had a seizure and I'm afraid she may still have another one.”
Carina whispers, her voice breaking as she thinks back to the feeling of a few moments ago. Maya takes a deep breath; she doesn't think she has ever been so scared in her entire life. She barely nods, taking you in her arms with such gentleness that she is surprised herself. Maya walks down the corridor to the door of her own office; Carina opens the door for you, and as soon as you cross the threshold, she closes it again.
The blonde firefighter lays you down on her bed, paying special attention to your head as Carina kneels beside you. She puts two fingers on your right wrist to check your pulse while looking at the clock on the wall.
"Pulse is dropping, we need to cool her down now, Maya-“
"Shit, she's seizing. Maya, help me!"
Carina turns you onto your side, removing the pillow from under your head and being very careful about the arm in which the IV needle is still stuck .
"Maya, Maya I need you to focus amore mio. She needs you; Maya look at me" Carina groans in frustration and concern for the blonde, watching her stand absolutely still in front of this horrible sight, "Maya!"
The firefighter blinks a few times before recovering from her shocked state and jumping into action. She lifts everything around that could hurt you and helps Carina hold you on your side so you don't choke on your own tongue.
It takes a good three interminable minutes before the seizure is over and Maya and Carina's arms ache from the force they had to use to hold you down.
"We're running out of time," Carina says, starting to remove off every layer of clothing but your underwear before taking you into her arms. Maya looks like a machine, she does everything Carina tells her to do - like turn on the shower, for example - but her eyes are blank, the Italian knows very well that the blonde is not in a good headspace right now but now the priority, as much as it hurts her to have to necessarily choose between the two of you, is you.
Maya turns on the tub's faucet and waits for it to fill. Carina steps in and slowly and gently losers you into the tub. You gasp, your eyes jerking open as your body feels the excessive change in temperature. A whimper escapes your lips as you try to pull away from the icy grip but firm hands hold you down, whispering excuses you don't want to hear right now.
"N-no, f-cold. I-I don't want to."
Chills run down your spine, making you whimper softly as you try to pulls your girls closer to you.
"I know Amore, I know... Shh, it's okay. You'll get better, you'll get better."
Carina rubs your back, somehow trying to comfort you without giving you too much heat.
The Italian puts her hand on your forehead, feeling that your temperature has dropped a bit.
"Maya I'm cold, I'm cold, I don't want to do this anymore. Please, I don't want to do this anymore."
The fever makes you start cry and your body is shaken by sobs that only make you feel worse.
Her name spoken by you make out of the near catatonic state she has been in.
“Baby, you need to calm down, this is not good for you okay? I promise it will be over soon but this way you are putting to much strain on your heart love. Please calm down."
Maya takes your hand and brings it to her own chest for you to follow her breathing and you do, unconsciously and maybe out of habit, but you do.
Carina keeps an eye on your heartbeat the whole time; her fingers never leaving your pulse for a moment, and her heart only seems to start beating again only when your pulse slows down and becomes stable again, at least for your current condition.
More than twenty minutes pass in the freezing water before you are finally covered with at least a T-shirt and then placed on the bed in Maya's office. Under cooling blankets, contrary to what you would have liked. Your mind is clearer and Carina and Maya are very relieved about that.
"What happened?"
Your voice is barely more than a whisper. You are struggling to find the words and your mouth feels as if it is stuck. It is also exhausting to talk right now, you can barely move your head towards them to look into their eyes as you speak.
"Heat stroke, Octavia brought you here Bella. You've had two convulsive episodes from a high fever. It's down now, but you're not out of the woods yet, so you need to rest."
Carina strokes your face as she points to the IV in your arm. As soon as you see it, you panic. You sit up and scratch your arm to pull the IV out. Under normal circumstances, you would think before you act but now, the delirium of heatstroke is just flying the last neurons you had.
"No no no, the press will go crazy with this news. I can't stay in the hospital, I have to get out of here; an OL soccer player in the hospital for heat stroke, n-"
Maya grabs your face and, to your and Carina's surprise, slaps you. Not so hard that it really hurts, but hard enough to bring you back to reality.
Although shock, fever, and heat stroke cloud your mind, you recognize where you are in a few moments.
"Oh...we're in your office."
You place the hand you were about to use to remove your IV at your side and give them a small apologetic smile.
"It's okay Bella, now get some rest. I'd like to keep you here a little longer for observation. We’ll take you home tonight, if all goes as it should."
Carina leans over you and plants a kiss on your lips, followed soon after by Maya.
"Now Maya and I will talk, you rest. Oh, and don't even think you've escaped the lecture. It’s waiting for you as soon as you feel better.”
Carina smiles at you with a wink and then leaves the office followed by Maya. Not before the latter mimics you an "I love you" with her lips and mentally asks you to pray for her. Surely, Carina won't let her get over the slap she gave you a few minutes ago.
Hey, thanks for reading. I know it's not much and it’s not that good but it's better than nothing, right? Write a comment and tell me what you think. Have a nice day!
p.s: I wrote this because it's like thirty-five degrees in Italy and I'm dying :)

A 22 year old woman who was about to graduate with a degree in engineering is now dead because her ex couldn't accept that the relationship was over.
Tumblr media
Gino Cecchettin, hugging his daughter Elena, attends a torchlit procession in Vigonovo, near Venice, northern Italy, Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, after the police found the body of his other daughter Giulia, reportedly with multiple stab wounds and wrapped in plastic on Saturday in a ditch near Venice. ROME -- Italy has erupted in outrage over the death of a young woman, allegedly at the hands of her possessive ex-boyfriend, with the Italian premier vowing to crack down further on gender-based violence that has claimed the lives of more than 50 women so far this year.
Police in Germany over the weekend arrested Filippo Turetta, who had been on the run since Nov. 11, when he was last seen fighting with 22-year-old Giulia Cecchettin, hitting her in a physical attack that was captured by roadside video cameras.
Cecchettin's body, reportedly with multiple stab wounds, was found wrapped in plastic on Saturday in a ditch near Lake Barcis, in the province of Pordenone north of Venice.
Italian newspapers had been consumed with the search for them both, given multiple reports from friends and family that Turetta had refused to accept Cecchettin's decision to end the relationship. Cecchettin’s sister, Elena, said she had been concerned about Turetta’s possessiveness of her sister but never imagined he could hurt her.
Police in the eastern German city of Halle said Sunday that they had detained a 21-year-old Italian man who was wanted by police in Italy after his car broke down on the A9 highway in the south of the eastern state of Saxony-Anhalt.
Italian news reports said police road cameras had traced Turetta’s black Fiat Punto as he drove on mountain roads through northern Italy, into Austria and then Germany.
Italian state-run radio network RAI said Turetta had agreed to be extradited, and Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he was expected back in Italy within days. Venice's chief prosecutor, Bruno Cherchi, suggested Monday it might take longer and urged patience so the investigation can complete its course without external pressure.
The fate of Cecchettin, who had been due to graduate university Thursday with a degree in engineering, had dominated news reports for a week and led to an outpouring of anger when her body was finally found. Even Turetta's parents attended a candlelit vigil for her, and RAI led its main evening news program Sunday with a backdrop made up of portraits of all the women killed in Italy this year.
Premier Giorgia Melon i expressed outrage at Italy’s long history of violence against women by their partners or ex-partners, saying it has appeared to be getting worse recently. She cited data from the Interior Ministry saying of the 102 women killed in Italy this year up to Nov. 12, 53 died at the hands of their partners or former partners.
“Every single woman killed because she is ‘guilty’ of being free is an aberration that cannot be tolerated and that drives me to continue on the path taken to stop this barbarity,” she said in a statement on social media.
A government-backed bill that has already passed the lower Chamber of Deputies and is coming to the Senate later this month would boost preventative measures to protect victims of gender-based violence.
In addition, the Interior Ministry urged all schools to hold a minute of silence on Tuesday in honor of Cecchettin “and all abused women and victims of violence.” An organization of Italian university rectors, meanwhile, vowed to launch initiatives to make students more aware of gender-based violence.
The aim, the group said, was to “promote respect of the person and halt violence against women” through education that fosters a culture of respect and responsibility.

TELL US THE CELE MISCONCEPTIONS...
i fear... okay, okay, don't hit me. i fear it all comes back to the coatto scale once again... i was not joking when i said it's a fundamental character trait. (scale here, definition of coatto here. just so we're all on the same page)
while cele is very much a weird girl, i think a lot of people tend to reduce him simply to that. Which is a misinterpretation of his character as a whole. He is a weird girl, but he's also your typical italian dude, and that's something that gets often overlooked. He has terrible music taste, he is a party guy. Most importantly, i think we severly underestimate how much of a "casinaro" he is (important index of the coatto scale. most accurate translation would be rowdy i think). He said in an interview that while he never risked being held back in school for his marks, he did risk it for his behaviour. You're only at risk having a 6/7 (in some schools also 8) as your conduct mark, and honestly, getting that low is not an easy feat. He must have got a lot of disciplinary notes. He also went to private school, which i assume was a bit more lax on this since he literally paid to be there, so him risking being held back for this is telling (to me at least).
In conclusion i think people tend to think of him as way "softer" and naive then he actually is, probably because he tends to be a little more quiet/reserved than bez or mig. But that might actually be more of a regional thing because it's a trait that he also shares with Pecco (and me tbh) and that is more typical of the northen regions. Just going based on stereotypes, in the north (well. northern then Emilia Romagna) people are "colder" and i think there's some truth to it.
This is absolutely not me saying I don't think he's a sweet, polite little guy. I'm sure he is. It's just that he's human, and with way more facets than just "weird little guy".

Summary: You and Harry are childhood friends, but are often labelled as being together.
Pairing: Friend Harry x Reader
Word count: 1,341
A/N: Thank you to the person who requested this! I really hope you enjoy reading it. It was nice to write Harry as the readers friend for a change and not as anything romantic.
As always, please feel free to send in any requests 🥰
You and Harry had been friends ever since you were 13 years old. You met in high school in biology when you were paired up for a task together and ever since then, he’d been by your side.
You had supported Harry throughout the X Factor days, the peak of 1D, the end of 1D, and the start of his solo career and continued to support him as he toured his 3rd studio album.
He had supported you through university as you became a teacher, a lifelong dream you were proud to have achieved, as well as breakups.
Although he was busy and was hardly ever in the same country for longer than 24 hours, he always made the time to speak to you, whether that was just a text back or a phone call.
You were teaching your year 4 class when a notification came through on your Apple Watch from Harry which read “Hey, I’m back in London on Sunday, wanna grab a coffee?” You smiled and took a mental note to reply to it later
You had a short break while you set your children a task to complete and quickly texted Harry back.
“Yeah sure, text me times and I’ll be there😊” you replied.
You didn’t even have to ask him where to meet, you had been going to the same coffee shop in Soho for the last 6 years. Harry always had been a creature of habit.
Sunday came and you got yourself ready for the day, choosing a light pink summer dress with your Doc Martin white sandals and a cross-body bag. It was 29 degrees after all.
You arrived at the coffee shop 10 minutes before Harry, you chose the small booth at the back where it was more private as whenever you two were spotted, there was always a Daily Mail article published the next day about you two ‘dating’ when in fact, neither of you had seen each other in that way. You were too close as friends and anything more would just ruin the friendship, it was purely platonic.
You texted him to let him know where you were sitting to which he responded with a “👍”. A typical Harry response.
It wasn’t long before you saw him walking into the cafe. He smiled at you as he walked towards you.
Cuddling you, he greeted you “Hey you, how are ya?”
“I’m good, not seen you in ages! How are you?” You said as you sat down.
“I know it’s been too long, I’m good. What do you wanna drink and I’ll order?”
“Just a latte please” You smiled and he went up to the counter.
He ordered and came back to the table. He removed his crossbody bag from the black North Face puffer he was wearing and smiled at you.
“What?” You laughed when he didn’t lose eye contact “I’ve just missed you, that’s all. Tell me, what’s been going on?”
The coffee came and you started to tell Harry about how school had been and how you had been given a new class to teach, you also mentioned about your trip to Manchester you had with your 4 girlfriends for a hen party recently and then how you were seeing this guy from Tinder.
“Spill” is all Harry said when you mentioned him. He was always up for listening to you and your random Tinder dates.
“Okay, so I met him last weekend after speaking to him for about 2 weeks, we went for dinner in a nice Italian restaurant but this is the thing”
“Oh no, there’s a but coming. What’s wrong with this guy?” Harry questioned and you laughed.
“Well we then went onto a bar and when we got in there, I assumed we were doing rounds because that’s what I always do no matter who I’m out with, it’s just common sense to pay for one lot of drinks then the other person gets the next but when we went up to the bar, he only ordered for himself. Like he didn’t even ask what I wanted, I was about to ask him what he wanted but he was ordering already and so I assumed he would order for me but he never and the bartender brought over one pint. Do you find that weird?” You asked.
Harry didn’t even pause before he came out with “Trash, trash, trash, not for you. Absolutely not. I’m sorry but move on”
You burst out laughing at his reaction, he was probably right after all.
“So I take it you’re not a fan of this guy then no?” You said sarcastically.
“A person who can’t even buy a drink for the person they’re with isn’t worth your time, like you said it’s just natural to take it in turns” Harry said as he sipped on his black coffee.
“You’re right, I’ll find someone else. Anyway, what’s going on with you?”
He sighed “not a lot to be honest” he said.
“Not a lot? Come on I’ve not seen you for 4 months and not a lot has happened?” You asked digging deeper.
“I’ve genuinely just been working. I’ve written a little bit too but mostly working. I’ve got a new pleasing line coming out soon in the next year or so which is exciting” he said with the most monotone voice ever.
“You don’t seem too excited about it?” You asked noticing his change in demeanour.
“It’s just a lot, but we’re getting there” he forced a smile.
“Are you though? You know I’ve always said about speaking to Jeff if things are getting too much?”
“No it’s fine like I love touring, it’s my favourite part of the job it’s just quite demanding at times”
“Remember, you’re number 1. You need to look after yourself first because without Harry, there’s no show and I know how much you love performing so please make sure you’re looking after yourself. You know I’m always here if you wanna chat anything through” You smiled to him.
“Thanks y/n I appreciate that, I’m maybe just overtired and grumpy at the minute” he laughed.
For the rest of the morning, you spent sipping coffee and chatting with Harry. It was nice to spend time with him, even though it was only a couple of times a year.
You walked out of the cafe and said goodbye to Harry, hugging him.
“Nice seeing you, next time I'm in London we’ll meet up again” Harry said.
“Yeah it was fun! Remember to look after yourself!” you said.
“I will, come here” he said pulling you in for a cuddle.
“Thanks for today, I felt like I really needed it” he said to you.
“It’s no problem, text me anytime okay?”
“Okay, thanks y/n. See you later” Harry smiled as he walked away from the coffee shop.
That night, you were scrolling through Twitter when you saw a photo of you and Harry earlier that day with the headline “Harry Styles meets up with childhood sweetheart for coffee date” You rolled your eyes and laughed at the article which dug into your friendship a little.
You screenshotted the image with the headline and sent it to Harry with “I’m your childhood sweetheart am I? 🤣”
He replied only 10 minutes later “Ffs, next I’ll be dating my mum”
You laughed at his response, there always had been rumours of you two going out whenever you were spotted but if anything it just made you laugh.
And for the rest of that night, you watched as the image of you two hugging was doing the rounds on Twitter, much to your amusement.

Natalie Scatorccio being Italian
Tumblr media
A/N: Hi GUYSSS!!! I was really bored in class today and I remembered that Natalie is indeed my fellow Italian so I thought I'd make a headcanon about it, in the first few bullet points I tried to kinda give her a backstory so that was fun :) enjoy<3
From what we have been shown in the series Natalie doesn't really lean in the Italian-american stereotype (luckily lmao) apart from her very Italian last name and the attempted Italian accent Sophie Thatcher gave to the character in the first episodes, so we'll have to use some imagination here, but hey, it's an headcanon after all
Her dad's family is Italian (I'm pretty sure this is canon, correct me if I'm wrong tho) but he moved to the USA
Her dad's family was probably from the south, not necessarily Sicily or Sardinia, maybe somewhere around Naples!? Definitely not the north tho
I don't think she ever actively decided to learn Italian, maybe she knows a few words (definitely the swear words, we'll get to that later) but the accent is what really stuck with her
Would get pissed if someone cooked pasta the wrong way
"you need to boil the water first AND DEAR GOD NO DO NOT BREAK THE SPAGHETTI WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING THAT'S BLASPHEMY"
Thick Italian accent when she gets mad/speaks with a louder tone/when she first wakes up (same girl, same)
Does the 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 ironically (again, same girlie)
At first she tried to get people to pronounce her last name correctly but eventually gave up
"Sketorcio?"
"no, it's literally the same way it's written"
"Skeattorcio"
"You know what nevermind"
Side eyes people every time they pull a pizza pasta mandolino on her
Goes around and judges pizzas even though she has not tried real Italian pizza
Randomly flexes being Italian to anyone at random times
As I said she can't fluently speak Italian but she knows for sure every curse word (and trust me we have lots of those)
"Natalie have you brought your soccer shoes?"
"Oh, yes they are in my bag, look..."
*opens bag to take the shoes out and they are not in there*
"OH CAZZO"
Or
*hits her pinkie toe against the corner of a wardrobe*
"PORCA PUTTANA"
Firm believer that she would use bestemmie (really really bad words that are considered a sin and are very stigmatized by Catholic folks) all the time
Even at random times just because she can and after all no one would understand anyways
Brags about her cooking skills but can't actually cook
She would like to visit Italy one day but she's too broke even to buy lunch at school
That's all for today:)
A/N: if anything else pops up in my mind I'll make a part 2 pookies!!! Have a good day and be gay :)

"south Italians were killed too but that’s because they looked Algerians to the white supremacists" real. i remember when i was in school there was a portuguese kid who was nearly stabbed because racists assumed he was from morocco due to how he looked. white supremacist ideals will rot your brain
White supremacists will attack white Mediterranean folks who don’t look white enough and then years later use those attacks to be like “See it wasn’t racist white people were attacked too”.
Or like their descendants (saw it happening with Italians only so far) will use their deaths to dismiss racism… “he was Italian but he was killed” yes dumbass that’s because he looked North African. People think White Supremacists will ask you for your family record and 23andMe before attacking you.

Another week, another @tendres-coeurs Winter Wonderland themed thingie, this time i went for Festive Drinks.
Since I learned you shoulnt leave me alone with italian chracters because headcanons will drive me insane, of course I gave them regional typical "festive drinks". So have Cantucci e vin Santo (Tuscany) for Carlo and Vin Brulè for Romeo. Wished i could do mor,e but leaving tomorrow to spend the holidays with my family so! also got buisy with school
(little side note, I know Vin brulè isnt much a typical italian drink, BUT is a thing we drink here in the north during winter season so bluh it fits, specially cause i headcanon Romeo from Veneto so YEAH he gets the wine)
