Now that the neighborhood’s berry supply has run low, the mockingbirds are coming to the yard for suet and peanuts instead.

Hatch year baby confused by the snow.

A bunch of goldfinches enjoying sunflower chips, and a Carolina wren nibbling away at the seed cylinder. Followed by the sudden appearance of the American tree sparrow!

EDIT: watching this play back, I just realized that the mockingbird chased the goldfinches off! I was so focused on the sparrow, I didn’t notice!

The mockingbird has returned! Two days in a row c:

And here he is not being upset by a starling!

Look at that pretty white ring around the eye. I wonder what he’s feeding on. I’ve got sunflower chips, black oil sunflower, tree nuts, white millet, and peanuts in that feeder. Hm.

I still can’t believe I’m having a northern mockingbird visit the feeder with any consistency! I’ve never seen one at a feeder before c:

This one was having a good time until a starling came by and was A Brat.

Kanye West received 10,216 votes in Tennessee. 

Word to the wise, if your significant other voted for Kanye West, drop them then run fast & far because you have all the evidence you’ll ever need that their decision making is unreliable & unsound:
