I just had a thought: the fandom tends to shorten the Black Eagles class name down to "Beagles" (or BEagles) to save time. There are also endless jokes that their primary colour is red, yet they are called the Black Eagles

"Red Eagles" doesn't quite have the same ring to it. But Crimson Eagles sounds better (it also ties into the various route names featuring them).

And I think I know why they didn't go for that. If you do the same thing with that, you'd get "Ceagles"
