Winter Bliss
Finally wrote my first TOG fic.
There is a lot of fluff and it has a wonderful wintery feeling... because I adore winter.
Of course it’s a Rowaelin because I adore those two and there is also a Rowaelin kid. A little adorable girl.
Their daughter is called Aisling which in Gaelic means dream or vision. First because I still think about the dream Rowan had of Aelin and their 5 kids. Also, in my head the Old Language is basically Gaelic.
I hope you will enjoy it :)
________________________
It had snowed heavily on Terrasen for the past few days.
Rowan moved to the window and stared at the white countryside in front of him. The snow was so thick that it muffled the sounds of the world and a sense of peace swept over him.
He opened the big window of his and Aelin’s royal chamber and took a deep breath, inhaling deeply the crisp scent of the air.
He wished Aelin hadn’t been busy with crown business that afternoon. It was the perfect day for a walk in the woods, hand in hand, to enjoy a moment of peace just the two of them.
Between the kingdom to run and their two years old daughter, they had very little time for themselves and he wished he could whisk her away just for a few hours.
He was deep in thought when he heard some light footsteps behind him.
He turned and saw their daughter walking toward him with her stuffed toy in her hands.
“Dada!” She cried, walking toward him, arms extended.
Rowan ran to the girl and picked her up, hugging her tightly at his chest. He placed a soft kiss on her cheek and she giggled.
“What is it, my love?”
His daughter leaned forward and with her hand pointed at the window and at the snow.
“You like the snow?”
Aisling’s green eyes lit up in joy “snow” she said pointing outside.
At witnessing his daughter’s joy, Rowan had a sudden crazy idea. With her still in his arms he rushed out his chambers and went to the nursery.
He put his daughter on the bed and went to the chest of drawers as if on a mission.
“You and I are going on an adventure.” He confessed, turning his head to look at the little girl who was his exact copy “but we are not telling mum.”
He knew Aelin was going to be busy for a few more hours so he had plenty of time to enjoy the snow with his daughter in all secrecy and come back in time before Aelin discovered anything.
Aisling giggled, “snow” she repeated and clapped her hands feeling her father’s excitement at their upcoming adventure in the woods.
Rowan went back to her with a selection of clothes to wrap up his daughter nicely. Aelin would have his head on a silver plate if he got their daughter sick.
Once Aisling was bundled up in a cosy thick layer of clothes, with a wooly hat a scarf and some gloves he decided they were ready. They stopped quickly to his bedroom so he could grab his cloak and a scarf and they were ready to go.
He sneakily opened the door and checked that the corridor was free of guards. He knew they were his wife little minions and there would be no hiding from her this little escape if they spotted him.
Aisling hugged her father tightly around his neck and leaned her head on his shoulder while he was walking as silently as possible through the castle.
“We are almost out.” He whispered.
He crossed the last corridor before reaching the main hall. Once he made sure his path was clear he dashed for the door and sneaked out.
Once out in the open he took a deep breath and kissed his daughter on her head. She smelled of jasmine, like her mother and he wished she was there as well.
Slowly he started walking and shifted the little girl on his shoulders. She put her tiny hands on his silver hair and babbled some nonsense and Rowan laughed at that sound.
Once they were deeper in the woods he began singing a song to her in the Old Language and Aisling kept babbling gibberish as if she was singing along with him and Rowan’s heart almost melted with happiness.
His two girls were the most precious thing in his world. The day Aisling came to the world he had held them both in the circle of his arms and cried of happiness. He finally had that family he had been dreaming about. And after all the pain he and Aelin had to go through to get to that moment, he felt like the luckiest male alive. He had all he needed.
He reached a clearing and stopped, removing his daughter from his shoulders. He sat her down on the snow and Aisling started crawling and playing with the with icy substance on the ground.
“Snow” she turned to Rowan smiling happily. Then a flurry of snow lifted from the ground creating a small vortex and Rowan laughed.
Aelin and him had discovered quite recently that Aisling had affinity to wind like her father and on a few occasions her power had erupted uncontrolled.
Aisling clapped her hands excited at the small flurry of snow and her father added a bit of his magic to make it a bit bigger and gently enveloped her. Then he stopped and the snow fell on his daughter, who was now covered with a light dust of snow.
“That was fun, eh?”
“Fun!” She repeated and tried to stand on her two feet. She moved a few steps and grabbed some snow and threw it at her dad, losing then her balance and falling with a thump on her backside.
Rowan all of a sudden had an idea “Shall we build a snowman?” He asked but did not wait for Aisling to answer. Always keeping an eye on his daughter, who was now using her power to play with the snow in front of her, he started gathering snow to create the two big ball that would have made up the snowman’s body.
“Big man!” shouted Aisling while staring at her dad at work. Once the body was completed he began thinking on how to decorated the snowman.
He grabbed his daughter in his arms “mama!” She yelled happily.
Rowan laughed “Oh yes, she could be mum.” He grabbed a stick and placed it as a mouth, then removed his scarf and tied around the neck of the snow-woman. Once his work was complete with eyes and sticky hands he took a step back.
“What do you think, my love? Does it look like mum?”
“I know I am pregnant, but I think you made me a bit too fat.”
A feminine voice that he would recognise everywhere reached him and he froze.
Fuck. He thought. How did she found out?
He turned.
Aisling leaned forward toward her mother “mama” she called happily.
Aelin took her daughter in her arms and turned to her husband who was now frozen in place.
“You thought you were being sneaky?”
“I had the perfect plan.” He finally took a step toward her and placed a kiss on her cheek reddened by the cold.
Aelin chuckled “You failed miserably, buzzard.” She snuggled close to his chest “you forgot to check that there was no staff about. Emrys was coming out of the kitchen when he spotted you.”
Rowan growled happily and nibbled at her ear “I missed you.” He muttered as a sort of apology.
“I am sure my snow version would have been more than happy to please you.”
Rowan was about to add a snarky remark when Aisling started to get agitated to get off from her mother’s arms.
Aelin placed the little girl on the snow and she ran happily toward the snow-woman.
Rowan laughed and moved behind Aelin and with his arms he circled her waist and place his hands on her swollen belly “I love all the three of you. Madly.”
“You forgot the boobs.” Was Aelin’s comment, not allowing him to have a cheesy moment.
She freed herself from his embrace and joined their daughter. Clumsily she tried to bend down and grab some snow but her belly was in the way.
“Does your majesty require the help of her dutiful husband?” He joked, while walking toward her with a big grin painted on his face.
“Yes, my dearest husband, it’s good to know you can be of some use.” And gave him a warm smile and blew him a kiss.
Rowan grabbed some snow and passed it to her.
Aelin moulded it in her hands and then pressed it on the ball of snow and attached the fake boobs.
“Now it looks like me.”
“You have a high opinion of your bosom’s size.” He teased her shamelessly.
In response she glared at him, then grabbed one of the snow boobs and threw it at him, then grabbed the other and threw it as well until his hair was even whiter.
Aisling laughed and created a bigger flurry of snow around her dad.
Rowan grabbed the little girl in his arms and started spinning on his feet until he collapsed in the snow with his daughter on his chest.
“Wait for me.” Shouted Aelin, while trying to sit on the snow.
Rowan offered her a hand and slowly she made her way down. She pulled the hood of her cloak on top of her head and lay down beside her husband and daughter.
A strong arm went behind her back and pulled her closer. She placed a hand on her daughter’s back and then looked in her husband’s green eyes.
“Kiss me.”
He took his time, and when she began to pout he finally leaned forward and gave her a chaste kiss on her lips.
“You are bad at making snowmen.”
“I already excel in almost everything I do,” he chuckled “it’s normal that I might have some flaws in other endeavours.”
Her smile turned wanton and he noticed the glint of lust in her eyes.
“Not here and not with our daughter.” He added, knowing exactly where her mind had wondered off to.
“Then take me home, buzzard and show me some of this amazing skills you have.”
He stood with a fluid motion and helped her stand as well.
“At your service, my Fireheart.”a smirk painted on his face and desire in his eyes.
Aelin took Aisling for his arms and started walking back to the castle. Rowan put an arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer to him.
He looked at his wife and daughter and smiled. A deep sense of happiness settled in his soul.
And in that instant it started to snow again…

Treaty - Mark (78/100)

Prompt: Treaty Member: Mark x Reader AU: DragonShifter!AU
Word Count: 2,576
This got so long and the ending was meh but I rather like it~
The journey to the cave had taken several days. It had been long and cold, but you were willing to do whatever it took to get to the dragon that the King had ordered you to kill.
At first, the king had been suspicious of your ability as a bounty hunter. You weren’t a wizard and, unlike many other hunters, you had no magic at all. However, what you lacked in that area you more than made up for in your ability with your mind and with your sword. Tactics were always used to your advantage, and as long as you felt that you could stay one step ahead of whatever it was that you were hunting, you didn’t feel you needed magic.
Regardless, a small part of you felt sorry. You didn’t mind dragons very much…sometimes they could even be helpful. If you could persuade their human side to do something, often times their dragon side would agree. But the amount of money that the King offered to you to either go forth and slay the dragon or sign a blood treaty was too much for you to turn down.
You just prayed that it was a dragon shifter so that it would be easier to kill in its human form. If it was a full dragon or even a shifter that remained in dragon form all the time, it would still be possible to kill, but it would certainly be much more difficult.
However, you were fairly certain that it was a shifter (and male by the looks of it) because of all the little clues you’d picked up whilst tracking it to its cave.
Now, after a long trek up the mountain, you were finally at the foot of the cave and prepared to face whatever horror lay within. You mentally berated yourself for not bringing any extra fairy dust to help you – you had used it all up to make fires on the mountain.
You pulled out your sword and ran your finger down it, checking it’s strength and sharpness and humming contently when it was to your liking. You had plenty of black arrows left and, needless to say, you were feeling pretty confident in your abilities.
As you turned to enter the cave, the first thing you noted was the rise in temperature. Coming our of the snowy, wintery mountain, the cave felt like a warm, melting pot that made you subconsciously relax, despite your carefulness.
The foyer was massive and the ceilings were quite high. You marveled at the ancient designs on the columns that raised up from the floor before shaking your head and reminding yourself of why you were there.
As you continued farther into the cave, you began to notice the small piece of gold scattered around the area. When you came to a crossroads, you decided to stay left, and after a few steps, you realized you were on a bridge.
Your eyes widened and your mouth gaped as you took in the area before you.
The enormous room was filled to the brim with pieces of gold, goblets, jewels, and other extremely valuable items. You felt your heart beat faster at the idea of laying in all of the gold, but you took a deep breath and immediately turned back around to go in the other direction.
A dragon’s sense of smell was impeccable and although your desire to roll around in gold was great, you wouldn’t dare give it an obvious trail back to yourself.
This time, you decided to go right instead and, to your surprise, the rooms began to get smaller and smaller until they were the size of ordinary rooms. After many twists and turns, you came down to a corridor with multiple doors on either side.
You grabbed your shield and began to walk slower, going to the first door and slowly reaching out to the knob. You took a deep breath before ripping it open and barging in, only to find that the room was empty.
It was a bedroom with old, maroon décor, lots of lit candles, and multiple bookshelves. You glanced around the room but once it was clear that there was nobody there, you turned back and walked into the hallway. There had been candles lit, so the dragon must be somewhere in the cave.
And in human form.
You ventured deeper into the cave, and were surprised to see that there was actually more light down there. You presumed it was fairy dust that lit up the hallways as the walls seemed to glow a yellowish orange.
We you finally reached the end of the hallway, the area opened up once more to a big room that had couches and tables. It almost looked like the main living quarters for the dragon while he was in human form. You walked around the room and then paused when something caught your eye.
On the table nearest to the couch was an old, leather bound book. You walked over and picked it up, running your fingers down the spine as you turned it and slowly opened it, flipping through the pages. It was not dusty, and looked to be recently used. You wondered if the –
“Hey, don’t read that!” a voice called out.
You almost jumped out of your armor in surprise as you slammed the book on the table and spun around to look at where the voice had come from. You raised your sword instinctually as well as your shield, your eyes wide and breathing heavy as you took in the view in front of you.
If it was the dragon standing in front of you, leaning against the door frame, then he was nothing like you had expected. The man had bright red hair and big, dark eyes. He was tall, but shorter than you had expected and not as big or intimidating as some of the other dragons you had met. He was slim and slender. His legs looked long in the black plants he wore and the puffy white shirt hung loosely on his torso, accentuating his collarbone.
He was looking at you curiously, without a hint of fear on his face. On the contrary, he looked rather amused as though he were the adult and you were a child who was poking their nose in a place it didn’t belong. He looked angelic, but at the same time, he looked sly and cunning.
As if there was a darkness beneath that charming smile of his.
“You’re the dragon,” you stated simply, accusing him and reassuring yourself all at the same time. The man gave a small chuckle and walked farther into the room with a small smirk on his face.
“That’s not very nice,” he said, walking over to the counter and turning his back to you, filling himself a glass of water. “Shall I just call you ‘the human’?” the dragon asked, laughing at his own joke. You tightened your grip on your sword and held your head high.
“It doesn’t matter what your name is. You’ll be dead before long,” you announced, stepping towards his back menacingly. If he seemed fazed, he didn’t show it in the least. Instead, he turned back around and leaned back against the counter, looking at you intensely.
“Oh?” he asked, narrowing his eyes and looking you up and down. “Are you here to kill me?” he asked, sarcasm dripping from his voice. You narrowed your eyes as well and took another few steps towards him.
“I’m to tell you that I am here on behalf of King Junyeong who is displeased with your presence and activities in our land,” you announced, professionally. The dragon groaned and tilted his head back dramatically.
“That rotten old king is still alive?” he asked, taking a swig of water calmly. “I remember when his grandfather was in charge…I guess stupidity runs in the family,” he said, giving you a small smirk. You felt yourself boil with anger but kept calm as you faced him.
You debated whether or not to try to kill him now, but decided against it. As long as you were here, it was far too small of an area for him to transform into a dragon so the odds were still in your favor.
“You’ve killed our people. Stolen our animals and burned our crops. Do you really expect us to let you live?” you asked, baffled that the dragon could possibly fail to understand why you were angry.
You watched closely and you were surprised to see a brief flicker of something cross the man’s face that almost seemed to be...guilt? Almost as immediately, a smirk fell back on his face
“Well, you know us dragons,” the man said. “What was the phrase the King liked to use all those years ago? Oh yea…bloodthirsty killers,” the dragon said, his smirk dropping as he placed the cup back down on the counter.
You felt a chill go up your spine and when he took a step towards you, you instinctively took a step back.
“It’s not nice to come into people’s houses uninvited,” the dragon said, annoyance clear in his voice. “You can leave now,” he said, crossing his arms and staring at you. Despite the feeling of dread beginning to build inside of you, you stood up straighter and shook your head.
“You know I can’t do that. We either sign a treaty in blood that says you won’t trespass on the King’s land or…well…you know the other option,” you said, bringing your sword up. A treaty written in blood was often solidified in magic and if broken, caused immediate death. The dragon looked at your sword with interest and then walked around you, casually, sauntering over to the sofa.
“Nice sword. Did you make it yourself?” he asked, nonchalantly. You stood where you were, slightly confused as to why he wasn’t taking this more seriously. You turned back around and walked slowly over to the couch opposite of him.
“Yes. I also made all of my own black arrows,” you spat, decisively. “So don’t get any big ideas,” you warned, making sure he knew that if he turned into a dragon, you wouldn’t hesitate to kill him. He was manageable as a human, but you couldn’t predict what he would be like when his dragon side took over.
The dragon held up his hands in surrender and you followed his gaze towards the fireplace. With a mere flick of his wrist, the fireplace in the corner began to burn a bright red. You felt your breath becomestuck in your throat as a horrible thought crossed your mind.
Did he know magic in his human form?
If he didn’t, and it was just an ability of being a dragon shifter, you still had a chance of beating him. However, if he had managed to learn magic (or worse yet was born with it) you stood a better chance of shooting him now while you had the opportunity.
And yet again, you saw another flicker of guilt cross his face. You gripped onto your bow this time as you took a breath and looked over at him.
“Tell me then, dragon. Will you sign a treaty? Or will I be forced to use these black arrows?” you said, in a commanding voice. The man looked over at you lazily and held your gaze for a few moments.
“What’s your name?” he asked, suddenly. You raised your eyebrows and after a moment of silence spoke.
“I’m sorry, what?” you asked, clutching your bow in your hand.
“Your name. I want to know what it is,” he repeated. You held his gaze once more and then shook your head as you glanced at the fire.
“My name isn’t important. Will you sign the treaty or not?” you asked again, looking over at the dragon who almost seemed to be brooding.
“Isn’t a treaty supposed to be on equal terms? Your King demanding that I be the one to leave or else I die doesn’t sound very fair,” the dragon mused. You shook your head once more and glared at him.
“You’ve killed our people. You don’t get anything else,” you hissed. After a moment, you softened your eyes at him and continued. “Although…you technically don’t have to leave. You can stay here with your horde as long as you want. You simply can’t come onto our land or kill any of our people anymore,” you said, trying to appeal to the dragon.
The dragon then did something unexpected – he began to laugh.
It wasn’t a booming, loud laughter that sounded maniacal, but rather a soft, charming sound that almost made you smile yourself. However, within moments he was shaking his head and looking at you as if you were the most naiive person he had ever met.
“I don’t understand you,” he said, placing his head on the palm of his hand. “Do you know why the King sent you here?” he asked, his smile dropping completely and a sudden cold aura coming over him. The immediate mood change made you start but you remained calm.
“To end your evil deeds on our land and people,” you said, “To kill you,” you added.
“And do you think he did all of those things for ‘the people’?” the dragon asked. “That’s where you’re mistaken. He doesn’t care about any of his people, he just wants me dead so that he and his men can raid my horde and keep it all to themselves. Most likely to finance all of the kingdom’s fancy wars and expansion,” the dragon sneered.
Now it was your turn to shrug your shoulders and give him a demeaning look.
“See, that’s where you’remistaken. I don’t really care why he’s doing what he’s doing. I only care what I get out of it. And that, my dear dragon, is quite a bit of gold,” you explained. “I’m a hunter. I don’t pledge loyalty. I take the side that’s most likely to win,” you added, leaning back in your chair, feeling proud of your answer.
At this, the dragon showed a moment of surprise before eyeing you keenly and giving you a small smirk.
“I like you,” he said. Your eyes widened a bit at his statement since it was the last thing you expected to hear coming from him. He crossed his legs and put his chin in his hand once more, and as he sat there, looking you over, you couldn’t help but think he almost looked princely.
“So why haven’t you killed me yet?” he suddenly asked, still smiling. There was a short pause once again before you spoke up.
“Because…if I can get you to sign a treaty, wouldn’t that be better?” you asked, genuinely. “You would keep your gold, I would get mine, and the King would be without anything but a piece of parchment,” you added, smiling lightly.
The dragon looked away from you and towards the hearth. There was a moment before he turned back to you, and you immediately disliked the look on his face. It was a smirk that had knowledge underneath it.
“I’ll sign your blood treaty,” he said. You narrowed your gaze as he continued to say, “…under one condition.” You lifted your head and looked at him expectantly.
“You stay here with me until I get my dragon side under control.”

The sun has finally broken through the clouds here in north Wales, and the temptation to get into the Snowdonia hills, got to much to handle. There has been a dusting of snow from 650m up in the northern hills in Snowdonia for a week. So before the winter disappears into the distance I’m out to get some winter hill walking training in.
Breaking back into winter fitness with pack weight takes me some time, so I tend to get a few mid range walks in to create some stamina and get my body, legs and engine used to the different fitness that winter walking has to offer. With the day in question being Saturday, I had been asked by a colleague to go and do the north ridge of Tryfan, which in winter has been on my hit list. Without real fitness, iced up and on a weekend, I decided to get some hill fitness time on Carnedd y filiast instead and leave him to his busy and frozen north ridge. Good job Rob.
A wintery looking north ridge of Tryfan in the distance
The Ogwen valley can get a tad busy at weekends in winter and if you are really serious about bagging peaks, its almost best of you get there at 6am to find parking and begin in the dark. The cars at Cwm idwal, when I got there at 9 am, where already taling back for 400m in either direction from Ogwen cottage! So with that said, I use a bit of discretion and common sense. I head to a quitter part of the Snowdonia range. Now initially I had though about doing some hill repeats, on the steeper sections on Y Garn or Pen Yr Olwen, but with Cwm Idwal being rammed, I chose to opt for the quieter parts of the Carendd y Filiast area and doing some nav with some fitness training with 15kg pack weight.
Why the pack weight you ask? Well winter climbing is what I’m actually getting fitness for, we have to drag up a fair amount of climbing kit with us and it weighs a fair bit so, its always good to get the body accustomed to some extra weight, so when the snow and ice arrives its not too much of a shock to the system.
With all the pack weight comes more frequent water drinking stops
So Carnedd y Filiast is a nice steep peak, its quite and its remote and I like to practice nav there. The peaks where I can go straight up hard and fast are excellent for the fitness curve, even if I am slow and steady at this point in the year, the diesel engine slowly builds up momentum. I park on the old roman road in a lay-by, don’t obstruct traffic if your going to the same and be considerate to there road users in the valley.  There are two access points to the beginning of the walking route, one stile which is near the house on the roman road and there is a wooden gate further up the old slate quarry man track.
Stile access near the house, be warned its wet here.
The route winds its way up the grassy sections up into the valley above where at about 650m, where it steepens and then moves into the scree sections up towards the summit. The parking spot for the car starts at 200m and the peak is at 820m and its fairly steep but quite enjoyable indeed. The sun will be on you this time of year from 9am over the top of tryfan and as long as you stick to the outer right section, the sun will grace you with its warming rays up until the scree slopes. I like to break right at the scree slopes and make my summit bit from there. This its around I hiked to 700m, did some hill repeats from 600m-700m on the steep stuff and avoided the scree. The idea of hill repeats comes from my running days where I would practice hills over and over in preparation for the snowdonia marathon. 3-6 sets of South stack hills and steps would be run with a optional 6 mile run bolted on for friendliness.  I wonder how I would cope with that now a decade on..
The training worked out well and at 700m I did some relocation nav and had a well deserved Organic warm cocoa, no food for these shorter ones in the sun. Just plenty of stream water from the fast running sections of the streams. Its worth taking a half hour sometimes juts high up to sit and take it all in, I often find that altitude I can get much clearer thinking and things that seemed to bother me, kind of melt away in the midday sun, surrounded by all the beauty that we take so for granted on our door step. Not a soul came by in 3 hours, not even a bird in fact, these was nothing to really mark the barren landscape other than this one lonely sole tree in the distance a 1000m from where I was sitting.
Taking time to readjust our senses to being present and becoming ever conscious of the present moment and giving some gratitude for the blessing and faculties that we have in life is so important. With the world feeling kind of heavy for some many people, I urge you to find solace from a crazy world by finning inner solace in nature, it works for me every time. Nature is the best healer there ever was and is. After lying down on my sack for the best part of thirty minutes, it was time to head down to finish the training off, I like to take a different route down and this time I feathered off tot he left into the valley below, where I found the original path I had been looking for on the ascent. oh well, its nice to go off the beaten track sometime and the beautiful flora, fauna and geology when I go off piste never ceases to amaze me. Some examples of the wild and beautiful plant life of Snowdonia below.
What can me these small walks more significant is the amazing views you get on a blue sky days. Looking over towards Carnedd Daffydd and Llywelyn the white snow line looked especially beautiful with he blue back drop and then over the north west the Menai Strait and Penmon all looked as if they where but a stones throw away, a nice clear line out from land to see cleared by a monstrous glacier almost 10,000 years ago.
Menai Strait in the background an the Ogwen valley leading down to it
Can you beat these blue sky days in the hills?
So with the sun on my back I decided to descend in a slow an steady way, it was that kind of day, no need to bag the peak, I got the fitness hit, ill go for that on the next run. My last few months has been a little hit and miss on the training front so ill go slow and steady as not to get an injury which is often the case when I’m a thousand mile an hour. The descent is always a great part, try and find a route, see a sheep track follow it for a bit, get a little lost, find another way and repeat. Quite a fun off piste way to descend hill, the occasional step into a mud calf deep bog also tends to amuse me.
Peculiar rocks on the descent ..seemed a bit spooky.
The sun was beating so hard down when I got to 300m I could not resist the urge to sit quietly on a rock and take a moment to look at the hills.  Looking up top its east to try and plot new routes. for instance there is a route I saw that traverse the other side of the valley from Pen yr Ol wen to Carnedd Dafydd which looks rather fun, and you could in theory drop down on to the road side rather than have to do that boring walk out to Gerlan!
Is it so wrong to take a selfie?! Enjoying the sunshine
I got back to the car and then had the great pleasure of waiting a few hours until my partner (a little older and wiser at 70) did his ridge walk. So I headed for a walk around ideal lake and stretched my legs then had some veggie lunch in the sun. Tryfan north ridge will have to be ticked off in the next month I dare say, ill keep you all posted. As I sat until sunset waiting for my friend the most amazing lenticular emerged over y garn and with a night sky behind it looked rather magical. The temperature dropped and the van campers where all in the car parks preparing their sleeps for the night. A great end to a great day.
Lenticular clouds incoming over Y Garn
Good description of the route here by Mudandroutes.com
