When you and Megumi go out for grocery cause you ran out of things like snacks and essentials especially your favorite pregnancy food for craving moments even though you are barely 5 weeks, already craving for more sweets. In which Megumi deadpanned when you demanded him to go out and buy.

It can't be helped though, cause he loves ya.

While in the store you were planning something for him that makes your feet giggling in excitement as Megumi grab and pulls out the small cart that will be using and he said to you that he'll start with the beverage aisle and kisses your knuckles (cause thats his love language dont ask me) and you nodded and kiss his cheek which painted his cheeks red.

Then your plan starts as you see a variety of balloons clipped in their stand you of course choose the dog one with the resemblance of his precious Divine Dogs.

You quickly unclipped the object and circle around the aisle to met his back facing you he was still looking at the beverage scanning for cheaper one.

You take your chance and slowly clip the balloon to his jacket. Locator secured.

You stiffen your laugh making Megumi turns to you saying 'what?' and you said 'nothing' you then follow up to him that you go to the baby aisle searching for toys for the upcoming baby you'll be sure to find him in no time. As he looked at you in questionable why are you giggling then proceed to the next aisle.

After you grabbed the cute baby toys you then search for your husband instead calling him you look up from the aisle and beam.

He's in the pasta aisle, with the locator floating.

As the time goes by, Megumi starts to suspecting something from you that you won't stop giggling everytime you approach him while you put down the things needed into the cart and saying your going to the next aisle.

Maybe your hormones just being extremely happy?

Then later on an old lady chuckle behind his back saying 'Is there something wrong?' he questions the elder then she pointed up and following her pointed above and froze in embarrassment.

Is that a balloon?

Was that with him all the time and he didn't even noticed?

The elder lady points 'What an extremely adorable thing floating around you young man, must be your lover's doing,' she chuckles again as his ears turned completely red and apologizes to her that he caused a distraction removed it from him but she didn't mind at all and said that was normal and entertaining.

Oh he's gonna serious talk with you.

Finally you grabbed the last thing from today's list and time to get or rather find Megumi in easy way as you search the balloon and noticed that the balloon was gone like completely gone.

Shoot. He must been noticed it.

As your hip met with clank of the cart behind you is your angry lookin husband glares at you and the balloon seating and tied in the cart so it won't float.

'It seems you planned this from the start and now you got me embarrassed' he torts at you.

You only stared at him and then completely laughed out which melt down his embarrassment into lovingly state. But still you apologize to him and adorably said because he was adorable on it.

He sighed to himself that he couldn't take you so much because it was your fault making him falling in love with you again. ( Tehee )

Abt your most recent post. How did ichigo hurt orihime? Genuinely curious bc my media literacy skills are a little lacking and I'm wondering if this is a "between the lines" interpretation, or if I missed something major bc of my dumb b*tch disease

chapter 193 in the manga, for example, but mainly scattered moments throughout the SS and HM arcs where he asks her to stand back a lot of times.

HOWEVER, i know people on all sides tend to get oversensitive about this for dumb shipping reasons so i'll reiterate: neither of them are really at fault here since they're both teenagers and behave like teenagers in that respect but also: this was a part of both their character arcs! ichigo being overprotective is treated like a character flaw by the narrative (where all his friends have been pretty mad at him for not trusting them), and orihime at this point in canon hadn't trained nearly enough to take on an arrancar all by herself! he's not wrong for wanting to protect orihime because a) he's afraid she won't be able to protect herself and b) he's like that because he's afraid of losing any more people in his life. however, orihime isn't wrong either because all she's ever wanted is to be useful and, no matter how well-meaning ichigo might have been (or even how right he might have been!), it still hurts her to be "useless" when all her friends are fighting. and ichigo isn't the only one! you might remember that uryu, urahara, and to a lesser extent chad, have encouraged her to step back when things get intense. orihime's internal voice at this time was not great, she was already in a bad headspace and to have her worst fears confirmed out loud (that she's "not needed," she'll never be an equal to her friends, never be able to contribute in ways that matter) by her own friends, especially ichigo, gave her self-esteem a major blow. they didn't mean to hurt her, but since this is something she's always struggled with, it hurt her nonetheless.

moreover, HM & FB arcs all run on the idea of trust between ichigo and his friends and we know that in his insistence on doing everything himself, he tends to build a big wall between himself and everyone else – one he works really hard to keep up. what's more, ichigo tends to be really irrational sometimes due to his overprotective behavior, and this is clearest in the HM arc where he does ridiculous things like throwing himself in between orihime and grimmjow's ceros when she already had her shield up, and saying ridiculous things (like telling uryu to protect her with his body if her shield doesn't work). orihime very obviously does not want to see ichigo killing himself to protect her, even if ichigo himself views self-sacrifice as a love language.

the reason all this works out is because orihime actually gets to talk to him about this during the fullbring arc, when this moment happens:

ichigo can be a little lost in his own head sometimes, but he's not unreasonable. seeing orihime's power boost and learning that she and chad have been training specifically not to be a drag on him in battle wakes him up and he's been more trusting of both of them since! he's matured a lot over time and you can see that most clearly in TYBW where he doesn't behave as irrationally as he used to when it comes to protecting his friends. and the reason ichigo & orihime's arcs-long conflict works out well is because it actually resolves in the end, with ichigo counting on orihime to protect him!

the great thing about this moment is that it's a BIG MOMENT for both of them. ichigo getting over his debilitating fear of losing people and trusting orihime (someone he was overprotective of) to protect him speaks to how much he's grown! and orihime, who was hardly strong enough to keep up in battle, is finally trusted to have ichigo's back. i don't think he'll ever realize how much that means to her, or maybe he does and that's why he finally asked her to go with him :')

#their sub-plot is actually one of my favorite long-running sub-plots in the series #but it's hard to actually enjoy it for what it is amidst all the noise that comes from shipping discourse #i know ih fans tend to get overprotective of ih & it's understandable considering just how loudly against orihime & ih people used to be #when the manga was ongoing - and maybe even now idk the wider b/leach fandom doesnt exist to me #but the great thing about ih has always been the set-up and the resolution. the conflict in their dynamic is believable for both characters #and it creates some great hurdles for them to get over together! #stories with conflict are interesting! #which is all to say please dont take this as me saying ichigo is a bad person! he's my favoritest boy & he deserves every good thing ever💖 #he just had a few road blocks along the way just like everyone else! #asks #ichihime
