not sure if anyone else has watched both stranger things and not me the series, but yok kinda reminds me of eddie in some ways (they both hate societal pressure and expectations/norms, they speak up about issues in society and call out forced conforming, they’re intimidating at first glance but actually so soft on the inside, they both have tattoos, they’re chaotic and rebellious but have such big hearts and they protect people they care about even if it means doing things that aren't lawful and could get them into trouble) and i just feel like both of them would be so protective of will and have such a big soft spot for him since he's so similar to them but just introverted instead of extroverted

eddie loves d&d and yok is an artist like will so they both have things in common with him, none of them fit into society's definition of "normal" and they've always been outcasts, will and yok are canonically gay and paint things for the boys they love (and yes, yok ends up with his boy so will better end up with his too *cough* mike pls open your eyes), and all of them are my favourite characters so i just think this is really cute lol
