Currently reading: The wheel of time (WOT) series on Prime motivated me to re-read Robert Jordan's original work. It's such an amazing high fantasy series, and honestly the TV show - while entertaining - does not do the books justice.. i'm on book 4 rn. Also, just loving discovering all your wonderful fiction. There are some gems around this fandom ❤️

Sweet/spicy/savoury: i'm definitely a spicy & savoury person. I Love thai/indian food, especially currys!!

Last thing I googled: quite a few things of late! I google a lot of words for fics - French is my first language (I'm French-Canadian) so I often have to look up which words and expressions better reflect my thinking...

Current obsession: I've spent an inordinate amount of time on Blades of Light and Shadow lately, re-reading the books, catching up on amazing fanfics and fanart. Mal and Autumn live in my head and I have quite a few ideas I want to put in writing, including adventuring with the gang, exploring more of the united realm in my HC. But for now they deserve to rest and just be happy 🥺❤️

Currently working on:

- lots of BOLAS Mal x (f!mc) Autumn Nightbloom ideas floating around in my mind. I want to write more fluf/happy fics bc they deserve a break!! But also some angst, working out BOLAS2 traumas and the reality that Autumn as an elf may live much longer than her lover.. I need to sit down and work on outlines 🙈

- I first heard Labrinth's "Still don't know my name" reading Kindred and it's given me an idea for a Kaine fic helping my (f!mc) Ivy retrieve the Lodestone before Mara gets her hands on it... but in my heads its NSFW smut heavy (Kaine is the lord of desire...), still pondering writing/sharing it..

- also playing around with some Wake the Dead Eva (f!mc) x Troy Hassan fic ideas

1.) itachi is my favorite! stupid drama man<3 i wish he could've had a much better life and that's why i like to read fanfic of him so much, since they normally give him that chance. my fav itachi x reader writer is @/saintrocklee (not tagging directly since i'm not sure if they're okay with that! but i encourage everyone to read their stuff!! the royal au in particular has me in a chokehold and i think about it often 🙈 their writing is so smooth and sexy and i aspire to write itachi's character as well as they do!)

2.) i actually don't hc them with a breeding kink! i see it's a popular hc among the community but i don't exactly know why lol for me it just doesn't click

i like what we saw of shisui in the itachi's story episodes! it's a shame he couldn't survive, but his eyes were certainly too dangerous for enemy hands, as proven by the show lol

1) How many complete fics/one shots do you have that you have not published (yet)? None, if I’ve got them I post them.

2) How many WIPS do you have right now? None.

3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both? I’ve never turned down a request, I always think it’s fun to see other people’s vision for the characters and it’s so rewarding when you can make them happy by realizing it. When I was writing a lot, most of my work was from requests but I did sometimes write ideas I’d found that I just liked myself.

4) If you do take requests, how many do you currently have? None.

5) How many fandoms do you write for? Lately I have written for Pedro/Star Wars/I guess technically Narcos since I wrote a little Carrillo ficlet?

6) Are there any fandoms you wrote for in the past that you no longer write for? I spent three years being an active writer for the Hobbit fandom and loved every minute of it...it completely shaped my Tumblr experience, gave me most of the followers I have, and brought some people into my life who are dear friends to this day. That said, I feel like I couldn’t write a Hobbit character now if my life depended on it, I think I’ve drained that well dry.

7) Do you write for ships, reader inserts or other? I’ve only ever written reader inserts and I think one (?) OC. That’s partly a choice to cater to what plays best on Tumblr and partly because I just find reader inserts fun. (Never used y/n though! 😅)

8) Niche fandoms/characters you write for? None, really!

9) Do you read fics as well as write them? Oh yes! I love reading fanfic and I have strong feelings about supporting other writers, it’s a huge part of my fandom experience.

10) What is your favorite genre to write for? Fluff, always. Romantic fluff is the most fun thing in the world for me to write.

11) What is your favorite trope (to read/write)? I’m always a sucker for only one bed, friends to lovers, fake dating, arranged marriage, huddling for warmth. I don’t know if domestic bliss counts as a trope, but I just eat that up too.

12) What do you do to get motivated to write? Honestly, as someone who’s completely driven by external motivation, this is the struggle. Readers who are excited to read what I’m writing are the best possible creativity fuel. I’m a publisher, not a journaler, so I don’t write for myself.

13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write? Smut. I read and enjoy a lot of deliciously explicit fics, but I find it too intimidating to attempt myself.

14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested? I think it would be a lot of fun to write for the Triple Frontier boys or Cassian Andor, but I’ve never taken a crack at them.

15) How long have you been writing fanfiction? Six years ago I made a Tumblr account and held my breath while I clicked “post” on my first-ever fanfic.

16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing? Not so much, actually!

17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well? I use AO3 as my backup since I’ve always written everything directly on Tumblr and didn’t want all my fics going down with the ship if the hellsite ever implodes.

18) What do you personally consider the word counts of “Drabble”, “One shots” and “fics”? I honestly have no idea! I’ve always just called everything I write fics 🙈

19) Which do you prefer to write more? HC, drabbles, oneshots/fics, multi chapter stories, other? Definitely one-shots, maaaybe stretching to two or three parts. I have an idea that I love but haven’t done anything with because I can’t do it justice with a one-shot and I lack the attention span for a series.

20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why? Nope, but again I don’t tend to do multi-chapter fics.

21) What is one of your main “pet-peeves” as a writer on Tumblr? Anytime talented writers aren’t getting the recognition their work deserves, it drives me up a wall. And some fandoms are more clique-driven than others, so you see it happen a lot 🤐

22) Do you write at a particular time of day? Basically it’s whenever I have free time and feel inspired. It’s a lot easier now my kids are older and it’s not as much of a challenge to get time to myself.

23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence? Definitely silence, I need to hear my thoughts.

24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing? No outlines, we die like men. Sometimes I have scenes or bits of dialogue in mind, but I always write chronologically, so I sit down with an opening idea and just go from there.

25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day? I really just post whenever I’m happy enough with the fic to share it. Sometimes I spend a while tinkering or letting it settle, but I also really like that sweet, sweet instant gratification so it’s hard to wait too long.

I just finished TLE and I’m in love, thank you so much for your beautiful writing! I had a random fun characterization Q, but no worries if you don’t wanna answer! For our 4 Marauders and Lily: what do you hc they’d each be like at an amusement park? Not sure if the wizarding world has those, but in any case, do you think the gang would like extreme roller coasters if they had the chance to ride them? Or would some of them refuse to ride or be secretly nervous on them? 😁

See, this reminded me rather forcefully of a plot line from a long, LONG time ago (like, a decade ago, back when TLE was nothing more than a few scribbled scenes I kept in a word doc in a secret folder on my school laptop LOL), in which James came to apologize to Lily over the summer after 5th year but it just so happened to be the week that the Cokeworth Fun Fair came to town and oh no circumstances happened and James has to attend with Lily and then it turns into a slight fake dating situation due to a Muggle boy who has been aggressively pursuing a thoroughly disinterested Lily and so they pretend that James goes to some elite boarding school and studies theoretical physics (“No one will ask questions,” Lily explains), and all in all James has a great time even though he’s tragically bad at bumper cars and also deeply baffled by the goldfish prizes and then eventually they have a Soft Moment™ by the carousel as the fun fair is dying down and Lily asks him why he isn’t nice like this at school? and James is all “because I’m stupid?” and they have a heart to heart and Lily is like oh no why am I feeling things I’m not supposed to do that.

And just in case you think I’m making this up:

They stopped to watch the carousel go around again, though this time there was no one riding it and it looked rather lonesome.

“So what do you think of your first muggle funfair?” asked Lily, leaning against the back of a stall, watching the ornate horses go round and round.

“Fascinating,” said James enthusiastically, and Lily laughed. “Although I’m still confused about the goldfish. And physics.”

Maybe it was the strange quiet of the closing festival or that continuously discomfiting feeling of two distinct parts of her life colliding, but something compelled Lily to turn to James and say, “How come you’re not nice like this at school?” The moment she said it she wished she hadn’t, and she looked hastily at the ground, her cheeks burning.

James was quiet for a moment. “Because I’m an idiot,” he said finally.

None of this is in TLE. Not even a little bit. 😂 But after your message sparked this long-repressed memory I was like “I must find this immediately,” and I went hunting through all my old files to the oldest of the old. I keep literally everything, so there it was, lurking under a folder helpfully titled “old” — but my god let me tell you, reading your own writing from a decade ago is…humbling. 🙈🙈🙈

But while for the most part this reread was a painful endeavor for me, what was really interesting is that some of the dialogue is very clearly an early precursor to bits that made it into the TLE2 draft. Like, so far removed from this very specific, bizarre scenario, but the bones of the conversation are the same. (Not the one above lol). Sometimes I forget how long this silly story has been simmering in my brain!!!

Anyway, this hasn’t answered your question at all, but it evoked such a weirdly specific memory that I had to go on a giant tangent 😂

As far as head canons for the Marauders: Sirius is obviously super into near-death experiences via rollercoaster, James is going to do anything Sirius dares to, even if he’s secretly a little unsure about these wobbly Muggle devices, Peter tags along but ends up getting sick, Remus abjectly refuses (“I feel plenty nauseous on my own without external help, thanks”) and instead explores the wonders of fair food (also leading to nausea, but oh well). Lily likes the fair games best because she beats James handily every time, despite his increasingly desperate attempts to win her a giant teddybear. Sirius accidentally wins a goldfish and is distraught because he is in no way emotionally prepared to be a parent.

And with that I will see myself out. 🤡

I've been getting so much nostalgia writing it :( implementing the HC that raver!Levi's hair is a tad longer than canon Levi, and it slightly curls especially when he's sweating a lot.
