Many things are annoying about the vote scold folks and the dem party but the “well Trump is worse” folks are missing the point. It’s like Northern US racism vs Southern US racism vis a vis you know exactly where you stand with the latter while the former is a shit heel who lies through their teeth and will fuck you over provided the opportunity. I know Trump and his henchmen hate me this is not news. What is infinitely more irritating is a liberal, a moderate or whomstever who acts like they support progressive policy but inside is more republican-lite™️ like don’t be coward about it

They’re all awful but at least people remember to angry at the latter. Trump will be worse for us normies sure I do not doubt it for a second but there is no fundamental difference between candidates to the rest of world who gets coup'd or bombed to shit by the US, the result is always the same. Obama was the last golden Dem and his global legacy is a brutal drone campaign and deporter in chief. The dem party has been fucked for years and they have also been warned!!! for years!!! About the several ways to Sunday they are fucked and despite being targeted in an insurrection and having to hide for their lives they will still gleefully go along with republicans. If it was not detrimental to literally everyone else it would be like watching ants going to war. Fascinating but ultimately meaningless to the rest of us but alas like like an asteroid reaching the event horizon we are all sucked into this bullshit even if you don’t live in the US!!! Bullshit!!!

The vote scold is intolerable BECAUSE it is obvious they do not think beyond their immediate comfort and lack the political imagination to think of literally anything else beyond electoral politics. Democracy will not cease to exist because of a US election. The concept has existed before the US and dismisses literally all the other societies that function with their own democracies. Main character syndrome country, embarrassing.
