because I keep meaning to do one of these and forgetting, and also because it’s continuing to drive me crazy that I never have anything new to share due to my inability to finish shit

anyway this was from yet another thing that was supposed to be real short and hasn’t actually gone anywhere, with Loki getting made and arrested immediately after episode 6 and thrown in some kind of extremely bad time cell of Sanctuary-torture memory loop, so obviously it was just an excuse for whump, but as with so many things I forgot about it because I never got around to typing it up

Loki makes a reasonably good showing of himself, all told, which is probably the most he could’ve hoped for anyway, but in the end there are too many of them. He goes down hard, somebody’s knee jammed against his spine and someone else twisting his arms up behind his back, his body throbbing out of sync with reality.

The collar goes on then, and cold metal cuffs pin his wrists together. That’s a change already from the TVA he knows--he doesn’t know why they never used chains or shackles, only that they didn’t, opting instead for the collar and their own hands, and returning there with Sylvie it struck him as a bizarre sliver of intimacy in such an impersonal, bureaucratic place. This TVA, at least, uses handcuffs. He doesn’t know what that means, but it’s probably nothing good.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

It was lunch when Danny got the notification of a large scale attack spearheaded by Bane on his phone. He hadn't wanted to be overt about his vigilantism but based off what he was seeing this attack was getting out of hand fast. He'd be caught dead before ignoring something like this.

Luckily the halfa had forseen something like this happening and not long after having transferred to the school he'd found a perfect out of the way janitors closet to transform in for occasions like these. Now the only issue was making way through the hoards of students milling around the halls like ants by the cafeteria.

With haste pushes through people leaving a litany of complaints by individuals in offence at being shoved past. At one point a teacher had called for him to stop running and without thinking too much of it he loudly prattles off the first excuse that comes to mind: bathroom emergency. He'd look back on it with embarrassment but at the time it served it's purpose.

However after finally reaching the closet and slamming the door shut he'd been faced with a major problem. There was already someone in there. Someone with their blouse halfway off and staring at him with wide, fearful eyes. Danny stopped dead in his tracks, hand still on the handle of the door and they stood there in silence for a beat.

The other teen -Tim from English class, Danny's brain supplied- spoke, "It's just- uh- kind of warm out today, you know?"

Danny blinked.

It was October and most definitely one of the colder days of the year. His eye travelled downward to a backpack that stood wide open, which seemed to have some sort of black and red coloured clothing inside of it. He looked back up to Tim with an expression that he hoped portrayed his deep sense of 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘐 𝘥𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬.

its kinda funny that the chaotix are like the only characters who mention having to pay rent or buy food or whatever and theyll take any job that pays because theyre desperate for money but none of the other characters are struggling in this department at all even though most of them dont seem to have jobs. its like the concept of needing money to live exists for no one in the sonic universe EXCEPT for vector espio and charmy

#sonic actively chooses to not have a house or a job or anything and hes fine ? #like he never seems to have any problems that are a direct result of this lifestyle. hes just chilling doing whatever he wants #tails has MULTIPLE houses/labs and doesnt seem to struggle to pay for them or anything. assuming he even has to pay for them at all #but vector is out here struggling to pay rent even though hes one of the only characters who we know actually has a job #do they just not demand money from tails because he helps save the world so often and is also 8 years old #do they just only target adults with this sort of thing. and thats why vector needs money so bad while no one else does . #and espio and charmy despite being minors have to bear the curse as well because they live with him

Playing Minecraft with other people kinda sucks sometimes because they expect me to go on adventures and stuff with them and I just wanna stay here and build and set up a lil farm and have lots of cute animals.

Playing Minecraft alone is worse though, because now you have to do all those scary things by yourself and you die a lot.
