My main problem with WWE is that instead of showcasing their current roster and elevating it, they decided to go get Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, pay him a shit ton of money to be a cheap nostalgia act.

There’s literally nothing “original” about that man, and I wouldn’t be so upset if they weren’t taking opportunities from other non-part-time wrestlers on their roster.

Like I regret saying this, but they have Logan Paul, practically new (a disrespectful asshole, but good in the ring). LA Knight. Grayson Waller. Austin Theory. Charlie Dempsey. Fucking Dom Mysterio. Like, you could literally have anyone on the WrestleMania card, yet you chose The Rock??

That was certainly a choice.

I’m all about when companies elevate and showcase their roster. And how people can actually be mad at certain wrestlers for jumping-ship is actually fucking insane. Wouldn’t you want them used to their potential instead of being fucking wasted?

WWE clearly isn’t doing it, so let companies like TNA, MLW, AEW, GCW, the fucking indy’s, etc do it.

And I’m not at all saying other companies are beyond perfect, but they’re doing better than the “E.” The company itself is the worst, but I will always stand by the wrestlers who choose to elevate themselves and others to be the best they can be.

Ngl, while I do get where RTD is coming from that the Disney deal could save Doctor Who from dying if the BBC does essentially die since the tory government are basically killing anything they can, BBC included- I really don't like the idea that the solution is just to give Doctor Who to Disney, given we all know what Disney is like with everything they own and would not hesitate to milk Doctor Who like they do with Marvel, let alone just adding to Disney's monopoly on everything we watch.

Just sayin, if teachers stopped taking the side of the aggressor, schools wouldn't be so hostile. If they stopped enabling aggressors, it wouldn't be so hostile, when kids aren't pushed up against a wall and ya'll didn't help push them further up, schools wouldn't be as aggressive.

It's real easy too, you see, when a kid says another kid is bullying them, you do something? Not put them in the same room to talk, like a fucking absolute baffoon, not tell the victim to get over it, not take the side of the aggressor.

Because that's when all options were exhausted. And you. You enabled this. When students do all they can with their limited resources and you throw them back to the sharks, they Will Defend Themselves while you aided in their assault.

Don't deny it gives you a boner to see kids suffer, I know how you enablers think. Why else take such a shit paying job if not to torture kids? Don't answer that, the alternative is far, far worse.

Schools should be held accountable for shit like this. Forced to make a paper trail, and when they punish the victim, the victim can go to court and show the receipts. No fucking reason to aid in assaulting bullied kids. Absolutely none.

Schools Need To Stop Enabling Violence.

That's all they do. That's how they're set up. That's their purpose. Until they fix themselves, schools are, literally, combat zones. And, literally, schools enabled it worse than any politician, loooong before any modern political discourse.

Better education, higher pay, and no lunch debt is one thing, but the enviroment of school is Active Combat. Teachers put kids up to assault and harrass other kids all the time out of seemingly boredom.

That is a decision they have made loooong before shootings were so frequent. Can't blame them for that, but you can blame them for the enviroment being so open and casual to such.

To ever make it a last resort, to ever Make It To A Last Resort.

Like instead of teaching kids empathy, being there for them in times of crisis, teachers really pushed kids to be even more aggressive. It's sickening we don't put any blame on all aggressors involved because of a fuckin' title. Blame teachers and school for being bully enablers.

Honestly, wouldn't surprise me if Kidz4Kash was still around to "collect troubled youth" the school system forced them into. Mine tried before the scandal was exposed. School is just not remotely safe. Hard to say School as a concept will ever work given the people that work it.

Seriously don't put your kids in public school. It was worth it for communication skills, but life long problems come either way, I'd rather a sheltered moron than a combative experienced child turned adult too soon, or dead, more than likely dead, probably suicide or shooting. Either way, schools enable it.

Just saying, school has more issues than money. It's the people. Blame Schools. If they wanted to be better, they'd have tried. If they wanted teacher pay better, they'd have tried, if they wanted school shootings to stop...

They'd be better people. Not working that job. Because no Chef works Mcdonalds, just teenagers and crackheads. Raising pay will help, but you Have To Fire the Aggressors for it to even matter. Otherwise you reward the systems in place that have caused such aggressions to rise.

Schools need to fix themselves, fire aggressors, stand up for victims, be held accountable when they actively choose to fail, and then, only then, raise pay.

As of now? Pffft. Ya'll fuckers putting kids in jail, therapy, or the grave. Only one of those is socially acceptable. Fuck off.

Regardless if we think Mike is gay or bi or pan or whatever, he thought he felt the need to lie (consciously or unconsciously) to El by saying that he loved her romantically and that he felt in love the first time he found her in the woods, to make their relationship seem like this grand super romantic turn of fate, so to speak.

I'm sure he did so because he knew El wanted to hear that, but... What if in the time El was in NINA, she changed her mind? What if El didn't want to hear that? What if she no longer thinks she needs the reassurance of a romantic relationship to move forward?

"DIY tiny home you can build in weeks", ok... now lets see the cost

...seven and a half minutes later, the answer is $75k... so when you include land and all the rest of it, so basically nothing right?

This is my problem with tiny homes stuff, it's for rich people

#and as much as I'm pro home ownership since like... my house is pretty much what's made my life feasible #like I know two things for a fact; we don't have room to give every last person a house #(especially if they're basically one bedroom sized things dotting the land)#and not everyone even wants to own a home #but like... lets say that everyone did want to own a place... we can't even do single family stuff let alone infinite tiny homes #so you'd need to have at least some homes in the form of basically owned units in an apartment complex which... sounds like condos #and so... I legit don't even come close to having the answer for this #but the sad thing is... a commie block kind of beats a tiny home if we're honest I think #not even in some like... brutalist dystopian shoving people together kind of way #like I think I'd rather live in a well maintained commie block style apartment than in one of infinite tiny homes doting the land #I really really really like tiny homes as a concept... but every time you look at them you realize... it's all for rich people #and half of them are just gentrified trailers or closet sized apartments getting dressed up by an architect to up the price #like I'm not even trying to shit on this company cause like I'm for assembly line style home production #especially compared to the cheap shit we throw up now; it makes me with I could puke in anger and disgust at it #they showed clips to contrast with of a home being tossed up and the shit materials they use disgust me #seeing massive... whatever you call those new home blights... communities I guess; springing up they always look like they're made of trash #so yeah... I like this building style better than shitty single family homes 'from the low 300s'#but I think that these people are either doing a sales pitch; missing the big picture; or both when they talk about this #like this can't fix the housing crisis cause... one no one can afford shit even if it's... lets say $175k; that's a lot to ask most people #but two is it won't work long term to just dot a million little houses across the land #cause quite apart from finding all that land; think of all the electric grid and water infrastructure you have to lay #(or are these people expected to be able to afford solar and all that? cause... they ain't poor if they're doing that)#(and I'd kind of like poor people to not be screwed by the housing problems we have; the rich can get bent honestly)#I like living on my own in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere; I wouldn't want someone right next to me #so I'm literally the kind of person people bitching about rural folks is bitching about; so know that's not what I'm saying #but let's be honest... we need better and cheaper urban infrastructure and we need less suburbs and housing communities #and that's where the solution is gonna lie; not in reinventing the single family home (or smaller)#eh... #I’m gonna be honest y’all sometimes I think people are mad about a handful of sheltered minors opinions #I don’t like contributing to the pro and anti debate because it’s way more nuanced than ppl make it out to be #but just because a few minors don’t like a character and have a strong sense of morality #does not mean these kids LITERAL KIDS AND OFTEN QUEER #are trying to bring back the hays code #I haven’t seen a single person say anything about the priest character and shipping #just people supposedly reacting to it #y’all are creating false outrage to shame literal children #minors have reason to be uncomfy and hesitant about the current state of fanfic if we’re being totally honest as well
