this anakin skywalker set is probably one of my favorite gifsets i've made in general. i absolutely love this quote from the rots novelization (matthew stover i'm in your walls) and the parallels are so satisfying to me

i had so much fun making this obi-wan kenobi set! i love when people make sets like this and wanted to give it a go myself, pretty happy with how it turned out!

this shadow and bone set took literal years out of my life. wouldn't do it again but it was fun lmao

i'm really happy with the coloring on this alicent hightower set. my best girl <3

this katherine pierce set which is pretty simple compared to the other sets on this list but i love my evil girlie and loved giffing her!

this yennefer set by @bixcaleen is SO spectacular i'm never getting over it. everything from the lilac coloring and the absolutely mindblowing triple blends to the typography are flawless and i'm so in love!

this daenerys set by @zoya-nazyalenskys lives in my head rent free!! ana always uses the most beautiful shades of blue in her sets and that combined with the red accents and incredible blending are the most stunning thing i've ever seen.

i literally gasp every single time i see this yellowjackets set by @cardvngreenbriar!! this set is what really sold the casting for me, the scenes chosen and the way the gifs are blended are pure magic. i will never ever stop gushing about this one, it's a masterpiece.

i'm never not thinking about this alicent set by @azoraahai. the most beautiful muted green coloring combined with black & white and flawless blending AND the lyrics that hit so incredibly hard?? yeah it's perfect. and i'm enamored.

this jake peralta set by @jakeyp is pure genius (as is literally everything ives makes, i'm constantly blown away by her creativity) and i'm in love! it's beyond gorgeous. it's so funny. it's everything to me. i need to physically consume it.

i'm not sure i have the words to describe how this anidala set by @lady-arryn makes me feel. the gutwrenching quote with the b&w coloring that compliments it perfectly has me on the floor. not to mention the insane triple blends that i could stare at forever. i will cherish this set forever.

i'm so obsessed with this alicent hightower set by @saws2004!! literal perfection from the coloring and the blending to the layout. i love outfit sets and this one is so creative. all the details. the quote in the last gif?? the most perfect addition.

this kaz set by @cal-kestis is one of the prettiest things ever and a masterful display of typography, blending and coloring. nik's ability to pair fonts so flawlessly always blows my mind. the rich colors blend together so beautifully i'm in awe!!

forever sobbing about this rogue one set by @starfighters!! in addition to the most heartbreaking lyrics (NIALL MY LOVE) this set also has one of the prettiest color combinations ever. the scenes, the blending... i'm in heaven.

this yennefer set by @ughmerlin is so so pretty!! the colors are so soft and the song matches yennefer perfectly. i also love the transition from b&w to color chefs kiss. & the font choice is just lovely.

umm hello??? this shang chi set by @simoneashley is gorgeous. the amount of time this must have taken was so worth it bc the colors are so so vibrant. i always love a good rainbow set esp when the coloring is this amazing!!

this house of the dragon set by @lady-arryn is so beautiful. the coloring and sharpening is just so soft and ethereal. and this particular blue/orange combo is wonderful. i am particularly obsessed with the blending of second gif..its just SO pretty.

my beloved triss!! this triss merigold set by @genyazafin is amazing i love it sm. i love the blue and orange and the way the coloring captures the darkness of the show. also the blending of the last gif is just so satisfying

This gif is very fitting of how I felt both during, and well into the next day about this episode.  We went from #Brightwell getting somewhere, to him going to imaginary plays with Steve. (guys Steve is Eve.  Don’t ask why, as the answer will not give you peace.)  Ok, ahh.

I have to be honest here, he looks so good and so DELICIOUS in the video (and gifs originated from it) that I barely noticed anything else, other than his otherworldly gorgeous visuals.

(Also, I’m not gonna go about beauty standars or anything. Taehyung is a check on all of my standards)

I think that his face is a bit light,yes, but not abnormally so? It doesn’t seem like they did it on purpose.

And my face is lighter than my arm too, Nonny. This is because of sunscreen and makeup.

I live in Brazil where there is one sun for each person, and I tan very easily. I bathe in sunscreen. But because I only wear makeup on my face (and with spf, too), my face is a bit lighter, which prompts me to go a shade darker for foundation in the summer.

If he’s doing the same as I do (”Korean” skincare routine), he’s probably got that too. Makeup also does make another layer of defense against the sun.

And you can see he has A LOT of makeup on. And make up catches light differently than natural skin. And his arm is in a darker are on the video/gif too. not recieveing light directly.

I found this picture where things doesn’t match, as comparison. Face and neck in different shades:

BTS makeup artists are usually quite good at picking the correct shades for them, their face and neck always match, even when they wear more ‘revealing’ stuff.

Taehyung never has reveling clothes on (sadly), but have a Jungkook as an example, face, neck and chest all about the same color:

In fact, I was a bit surprised at the concert because everyone always mention his super tan skin when in reality is like:

All of them will look darker in person than what we see in pictures, videos, etc. This is because of makeup, camera lens, lighting and editing.  So,always, in your head, imagine everyone a bit darker, like one shade or two. The above picture was the closest I could find to what I remember from the concert. And we had a lot of lights there too. But this seems close enough. 

But since we’re talink about Tae....

He looks about 2 or 3 shades darker than Jin? I guess? 

I personally love his skin tone, it’s rich and beautiful and just so so so good.

hi! i was wondering how you get your rainbow gifsets so perfect, like with a lot of movement in the gif and stuff your coloring is still so flawless

oh wow i’m really sorry for not getting back to you sooner, i never got the message notification for this? so first of all, thank you so much!

secondly, in a gif like these: 

you can see how there’s no orange or green actually drawn onto the characters. that’s because they’re mostly done with selective colors and color balance layers (i probably made a selective color layer, went to “red” and increased the yellow for the orange, or went to “green” and just enhanced the cyans/yellows) so that’s one way to do it. 

other gifs, like this one: 

the original background in this scene is more on the pink side, so i made another selective color layer and increased the reds but that affected how she looked as well so i masked her out of it (her skin at least, you can’t really tell on her hair because it’s dark), and then because she’s more stationary in this gif than eleven is in the previous one, i used the brush tool and brushed red around her.

i’m not at the point where i think my color photosets are outstanding, but it did take me a while to get to the point where i feel like they look decent (and some even look good! :o) it just takes time and practice :)
