In which election? Their power has definitely grown, but so far a large majority is against them. Even in places where they get the largest portion of the votes, ~70+% of voters are against them. So as long as the other parties don’t cooperate with them they will struggle to gain too much power

That’s why I found the recent protests so encouraging. Thousands of people all across Germany telling the other parties: wir sind mehr! We do not want you to work with facists

But these are just my personal thoughts. I’m not a journalist or political expert!!

I wanted to share a molasses cookie recipe my great grandma used to make all the time. I think the recipe is like 100 years old. She passed away several years ago, but I still make her cookies, especially around the winter time. Whenever we have family events or such, I usually make those cookies and it makes everyone pretty happy and reminds them of her. I'll post an image of the recipe too, as well as type it out. I hope others will enjoy it, the cookies are soft and chewy, and go good with like coffee and such.

Molasses Cookies

2 cups sugar

3/4 cup solid butter or margarine

3/4 cup vegetable oil

2 eggs

1/2 cup dark molasses (Grandma's brand)

Mix well, then add in dry ingredients

2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 teaspoons ginger, minus a scant

1/4 teaspoon cloves

3 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

4 cups of flour

Roll in balls and then roll in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 9-10 minutes.

As someone who despises eating new food dishes.. I literally felt nauseous when our woo young woo had to eat that meat.

Especially the way she chewed is so relatable.. my mother says I look like a monkey that chews on ginger.. (it’s a Tamil saying)

Food is one of the reasons why I couldn’t bond with my grandmother as much as my cousin, because I don’t like to eat meat and I don’t like cheese (I’m really sorry but that’s just how I feel.. sorry if it sounds weird that I don’t like these common foods) so I am glad I am not the only one who has a weird relationship with food.

Just to expand on the "lesbian not queer" because I've seen people being upset in your notes: it is perfectly ok for any individual lesbian to not want to be called queer. However that's not what this slogan means. It was coined by transphobes to exclude trans people, to say that gay people are not like *them*. Terf hates the word queer because it is inclusive, & can be adopted by anyone who isn't dyacishet. An ex. of a terf group that uses this slogan to excludes trans people is Get the L Out
