You
Lo'ak x Tayrangi! Reader
Warnings: mistaken identity kind of, teens having fun, arranged marriage, fighting/arguments, how they meet is very 101 Dalmatians and i love it, they're both oblivious asf
Tumblr media
Neytiri sent Lo'ak to go collect fruits from the grove near the other end of the Omaticaya territory. Normally he'd complain about extra chores, but not today. It was one of the better tasks to be landed with, anyway, even if it would consume his whole day.
But then Jake said Lo'ak could take his ikran, and that would cut the journey in half at least. Maybe more, since Lo'ak, like every other teenager, was all too fond of letting his ikran set the pace. Which, more often than not, simply meant break-neck speed, especially since Lo'ak's ikran was as young as himself in ikran years, according to Neytiri, and just as headstrong.
Lo'ak's ikran, named Spitfire by Jake in one of his rare moments of fatherly affection, was raring to go, practically launching himself into the air the second Lo'ak settled on his back and made the bond.
Kiri had, at one point, taken to calling the ikran Spitty, resulting in Lo'ak pitching a fit and pulling her hair, which then meant days of not speaking to each other. Lo'ak still got sulky every time he remembered the undignified name.
Lo'ak whooped, punching his fist in the air, gripping tightly with his thighs and trusting Spitfire not to let him fall, or at least to catch him if he did. The wind whistled past him, snatching at his braids, whipping a brisk flush into his face.
It was a good day. The sun was already high in the sky, warm on his back despite the wind. The air was heady with the scent of flowers coaxed into bloom by the warm weather, even at this height.
Spitfire, after a little urging from Lo'ak, evened out, gliding smoothly through the sky, occasionally letting out a screech of contentment. Lo'ak settled back, keeping one hand on the handle and feeling for the pouch strapped across his hips Neytiri had given to him to store the fruits in, making sure it was strapped on securely.
It wouldn't take him long to gather enough fruits to satisfy Neytiri. Maybe a few hours.
Maybe more if he decided to take a nap. Lo'ak loved naps, especially deep in the forest amidst the undergrowth, where he could burrow himself into the sun-warm grass and no one would bother him for hours. He probably liked them so much because they restored all the energy he burned living up to Jake's expectations. Very high expectations.
Yeah, he could use a nap. It was just that kind of day.
And it would give him time to think, too. About what his parents had told him a few days ago. About how, since Neteyam had mated with the youngest child of the Olangi olo'eyktan, Lo'ak would do the same, but with the only child of the Tayrangi olo'eykte.
It would benefit the Omaticaya, Neytiri had soothed him, smoothing a hand over his braids. These kinds of unions would prevent any conflict and better the relationships with other tribes. Jake, on the other hand, had told him there was no wriggling out of it, and he'd be mating with this stranger before the end of the year whether he liked it or not.
Comforting, right?
Neteyam had tried to comfort him over it. It was easy for Neteyam. He and his mate were arranged too, but they were crazy about each other, and Neteyam had always wanted to settle down and have a mate of his own and a family anyway. It was why he'd bent so easily to their parents' decision.
And it was easy for Kiri too. She was their dad's favourite, his babygirl. She wouldn't get married off to Aonung or some other guy if she didn't want to. Lucky shit.
Tuk was... well, she didn't have to worry about marriage for a good while yet.
But Lo'ak did. He didn't care about maintaining good relationships with other tribes, or having a mate of his own and settling down. He didn't care about any of that shit. He just wanted his freedom, and the freedom to choose who he mated with. Was that too much to ask?
Apparently so.
Spitfire shrieked, and a ripple of confusion and panic hit Lo'ak through the bond, right as something large and colourful shot past them like a flash of lightning.
Lo'ak caught a glimpse of a face with an equally panicked expression, then swore as Spitfire reared and shrieked again. Though this time, instead of confusion in the bond, all Lo'ak felt was a sudden burst of childish joy, right before Spitfire dived after the other ikran.
Lo'ak yelled in exhilaration as both ikrans went into a nosedive, and crouched low over Spitfire's back, knuckles going white as he tightened his grip. It was dangerous, and if his parents found out, he'd never hear the end of it, but they weren't here now and Lo'ak found this was too much fun for him to care.
He whooped, and heard an answering cry from the rider of the other ikran below, you, which made something in his heart twist with further excitement.
Spitfire was uncontrollable with the excitement of having what was probably another young ikran to play with, and Lo'ak let him have his head, content to just go along for the ride.
The other ikran straightened out before it hit the canopy, and Spitfire followed, flying alongside, steadying himself with a few flaps.
"Sorry," you called, face flushed and apologetic, but then began laughing breathlessly. "Great Mother, I am so sorry! Kikorangi- my ikran- saw you down below and he just took off-"
"It's okay," Lo'ak shouted back, smiling uncontrollably at you. You were probably the most attractive person he'd ever seen, so one couldn't exactly blame him for being so quick to forgive you for the scare. "But I've never seen you before. You're not Omaticaya, are you?"
He didn't have to ask. He knew you weren't. You looked like a young warrior from another tribe, like him. Your skin was covered in a pearly white paint, in swirling patterns. It was mesmerising.
"What?" you called, then raised your eyes skyward, laughing again. "I can't hear you. Wait there."
Lo'ak blinked, confused, as you steered your ikran up and over his head, flying along above him. He tilted his head back, looking up, trying to see what you were doing, only to nearly smack heads with you. You were performing some risky manoeuvre, sliding around to the underbelly of your ikran, gripping on with only your thighs, swinging upside down and smiling at Lo'ak, eyes bright and beautiful, nose nearly brushing against his.
You chuckled at his stunned expression, then righted yourself and leapt down onto Spitfire, breaking the bond with your own ikran. Spitfire jerked at the foreign addition to his cargo, and tilted his head, shooting you a baleful look.
Lo'ak stiffened as you seated yourself behind him, one arm loosely around his stomach, making his abs tense beneath your warm skin, your thighs pressing against his own. "Sorry, what were you saying?" you asked airily, mouth next to his twitching ear, like this wasn't the most intimate position he'd ever been in.
Words failed him. He could only hold very still, in the hopes you wouldn't become uncomfortable and move away. He liked having you there, the weight of your body against his back comforting.
But you shifted back, away from him, laughing again, and the sound rang through his mind, etching itself into the walls of his skull. "Sorry," you apologised for a third time. "I didn't mean to freak you out."
"It's okay," Lo'ak replied almost robotically, words feeling clumsy and foreign on his tongue. Great Mother, get it together! he told himself firmly. There's a beautiful warrior cuddling up to you, wanting to talk and all you can say is it's okay?!
He forced himself to relax, turning his head and smiling crookedly at you over his shoulder.
Your face was like the sun. You seemed to be lit with a golden, gleaming warmth from the inside out, and it honestly made him a little dizzy.
"I was just asking what tribe you're from," he repeated.
"Tayrangi," you answered blithely. "You must be Omaticaya, I guess."
Lo'ak nodded, noting that you were from the same tribe as his future mate. He didn't want to bring that up, though, figuring if he was to have any chance with you he shouldn't bring up his imminent union.
Even though he wouldn't be able to pursue you because of said union... What the tribes didn't know couldn't hurt them, right?
"That's sick," Lo'ak said, smiling that same lopsided smile at you. "Never met any from the Tayrangi before."
"Never met an Omaticaya before either," you grinned back, leaning back on your hands.
"Am I living up to your expectations?" he teased, gathering all his courage to do so, ears drooping slightly in apprehension of your response.
"Who said I had any expectations?" you teased back, nudging the back of his thigh with your knee, sending hot flames of want up his spine.
Lo'ak rolled his eyes, but couldn't hide his delight at finding someone who could match him blow for verbal blow. "Oh, come on!" he scoffed. "You came all the way here, you must've thought about what we'd be like at some point!"
"Maybe I did," you agreed, and the glint in your eyes told him you were being purposefully elusive.
"Go on, then," he encouraged. "Am I everything you hoped?"
You pretended to think, finger pressing into your chin, eyes fixed on the clouds above. Then you smiled again. "Nope."
Lo'ak scoffed again, preparing to fire back some surely witty retort, before you inched forward again, leaning on his back, arm tightening around his middle again, pressing your lips to his ear decisively.
"You're better."

Spotty dog?

“This feels demeaning.” “It’s not! Look he’s cute!”
Tumblr media
hes so adorable h my god. 101 dalmatian coded fr
June 28th — Your lovers birthday, and two days away. You woke this morning with a determination you knew both you and him held. To out-do your your last gift. Last Christmas, you had thought you'd won. Showing up to your shared home with a pair of matching shirts — reading "I ♡ My Boyfriend" and one equally matching for him.
Along with a multitude of other small things — all sentimental to your relationship. Like the mug that said "No.1 Bad Guy." or a card detailing how he would never just be the "Villain of the week."
But when he'd pulled out matching crocs, with Jibbitz of a goofy looking Dalmatian for him and a cute Bunny for you?
You had resigned as Loser for the months to come. Not without a cheering victory from your Spotty lover. Now though? A thought had been brewing for months— one that would never make you loser of the gifts ever again. What could possibly out-do a man willing to wear crocs branded with a staple of you on them? And a goofy looking bucket hat with your silly matching shirts?
A dog.
Something he's wanted for a while now, something to take care of. He'd lost everything, his friends, his family. With that much gone, he'd clung to you like a lost child. Mourning the losses he'd faced while cherishing his moments with you — feeling a constant sense of peril when faced with the fact that he *could just lose you too. He wouldn't, though. You would never do that to him. You loved him too dearly to cause him that pain.
You watched him slip on a blue coat over his "totally regular civilian" clothes. The complaint leaving his mouth going on deaf ears. He slipped on his left shoe, jumping a bit and tripping over himself before steadying himself on a coffee table. "Do we really have to go out today?—" His face-spot downturned, like a sad puppy.
",—Can't we just sit in and cuddle? We could watch Mean Girls and i'll make the hot chocolate you really like!" "Baby." He whined, Spot rolling into a displeased frown. "Where are we even—" "—Ask one more time." He snorted, pulling his last shoe on and tucking in the laces, then going up to you and leaning down to give your forehead a kiss. "Ready?"
He right about swooned at your domestic tone, admiring the way the softened gold lights highlighted your features. You were everything to him, and just the knowledge you loved him back had him tripping over himself. Falling through spots at the sight of you. "Yeah."
Jonn swayed as the bus came to a stop, avidly ignoring the curious glances given by other patrons, and focusing more on holding onto you.
"I'm gonna fall over!" "Maybe if you held the bar, and not me." He looked up at you from his waist bent position, arms wrapped securely around your abdomen, clinging onto you like you were the only person there.
"I don't need another lover baby, you're right here." "It's a pole, John." "And I am a faithful man." You giggled lightly at him and wrapped your free arm around him tighter.
"Just step off." "It's high!" John stuttered out his reply, dipping his foot down like he was testing pool water. 'I'll just—" He turned around, opening a spot and crawling through it and popping up again next to you. The bus driver gawked at you, paler than the villain walking Brighton's street.
You mouthed a 'sorry' to the poor lady, and grabbed your boyfriends hand, dragging him towards the street of your subject.
"You gonna tell me where we're going yet?" He trailed behind you, getting pulled by his left hand, and tripping over his own feet. Moving in that clumsy kind of dorkiness. 'Nuh uh."
His spot slanted at you, deadpanning. "You're being mysterious— I don't like it."
You side-eyed him, grinning in a glare. "I think it's part of the charm." He dragged his spindly legs farther forward, stepping in front of you and gathering your joined hand against his chest. He walked backwards with you, and his spot widened again. You smiled up at him, continuing on with walking, and waited for him to complain once more.
You hadn't have to wait long. "Are you sure you can't—" "We're here." He stopped walking when you did, spot slanting when he surveyed the shops and stalls around him, trying to read the signs. "a café date?—," He chuckled lightly, chest heaving lightly "'—You know you could have—"
"Not there, baby." You flexed your hands into his, he let one of his drop, and linked your fingers with his— squeezing your palm in interest.
You turned towards the animal rescue centre, giving your lover a mischievous grin and stepped beside him to open the door.
The spotted dalmatian looked up at you, glossy and doe eyed.
You cooed at it through the glass, the puppy wagging it's tail at the high pitched voice you were giving him.
"How come you never talk to me like that?" Your boyfriend had his hands on your shoulders, leaning on your crouched form and looking down at the small dog below him.
"Do you want me to?" You watched his reflection through the glass as he contemplated, spot shifting forms until it settled on a stretched thin line. "No." You snorted and continued sweet talking the puppy.
The dog-keeper smiled happily at the interaction between you and the small puppy.
"Would you like to take him outside?"
You turned your head towards her and nodded your head, sounding a pretty please — you put your hands on your knees and pushed up, standing straight again.
You turned to your lover, standing up on your toes, you smoothed your hands over his cheeks and giving his nose a little kiss.
"This feels demeaning." He pouted at you, hands grabbing at your coat.
You giggled lightly, resting the side of your face on his chest.
"It's not!," you gestured to the adorable puppy ",Look he's cute!"
John considered the tiny dog, slacking a bit under you, and conceding. "Yeah, yeah— whatever." You jumped up and gave his jaw a quick peck. "Exactly!"
You ran towards the back door, leading to the puppy playground.
Your lover called out to you— "I better still be your favourite Spot!"
"My number one, baby!" You called back.
He huffed despite his spot melting into a heart.
Two days later, when he woke up to a plethora of silly gifts, topped with adoption papers and a pink bow — He begrudgingly gave away his title.
+ bonus!!!
"You're just the most handsome spotty boy, aren't 'ya!" A squealing voice followed by a small 'ruff' caught your attention. You closed the door softly, and sneakily dropped your keys in the bowl, and snuck into your living room.
The sight of your loving husband cradling the puppy to his chest as he danced to an unheard tune greeted you. You smiled to yourself, biting your finger and watching him for a moment.
He spun slowly, and when his sight landed on you, he froze. He quickly, albeit gently, placed the small thing back onto the couch. The puppy rolling over and smiling up at you.
John cleared his throat, a closed fist to his throat, and after putting his hands on his hips to "act cool", he spoke.
"His name is The Dot."
You giggled behind your hand, going up and kissing his cheek, not before you pet Dot in passing. "Next time we're adopting a kid."
His spot widened and slid into a heart, blush coating his cheeks.
"And you're not naming them."
He laughed.

More Hannigram Prompts
I can't stop.
Phantom of the Opera AU: the whole concept of Will being Hannibal's mask or the opposite is yum
Old Western, Cowboys AU: idk I just need them in cowboy outfits
Jack and Alana trick Hannibal into thinking he indirectly killed Will by sending Dolarhyde to his location (could even be real and they make him look at Will's dead body, like a one shot? I just need his reaction)
Old circus AU: I don't know honestly I go a lot for aesthetics purely but could be Will looking for a job in the Lecter Circus as the psychic and idk what else look I just really enjoy vintage circus creepy aesthetics
Mortal man/Deity AU: pls, why haven't I found divine aus yet?
101 Dalmatians inspired? Hannibal is Cruella but in a dystopian world where it's normal to wear human skin instead of pup fur cause I can excuse the cannibalism but not puppy violence!!
Season 1 Will actually clocks Hannibal early on and decides to fuck around, so he's never hypnotized because he switches the substance without Hannibal knowing; he fakes reactions to freak Hannibal out or something idk but dark comedy vibes, and he's in love but also like oh you think you evil? I'm more vibes
Fics where we explore their diagnosis, specially Will's switch, for example. Would love to see them in an established relationship but the story focuses on Hannibal dealing with Will's switching, or Will dealing with Hannibal's mind palace tumbling down and ptsd.

Crowley’s Special Lesson Themes Analysis
HELPPPPPPPP OMGGGGGGG WTF
Okay okay okay, first of all, I’m really flattered when some of y’all say I’m perceptive and such due to my theories, but tell me why I literally JUST realized that the lesson theme changes when Crowley drops in for a Special Lesson?!?!? 😭😭😭😭 L Kallisto moment. -100 perception.
Im not kidding I was literally so focused on Crowley’s chibi form that I never noticed that the music changed when Special Lessons were activated 💀 Self-roasting aside, I immediately went to search up the OSTs for Special Lessons. A huge thank you to this user on YouTube. I compiled the three videos just for my personal reference, but I highly recommend to listen to these songs they’re such a bop!!! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️
I find it really fascinating that the “Dire Crowley” theme (the song that plays when you first open the game) is very foreboding, but the Special Lesson songs are rather flamboyant. Maybe I’m just hearing it wrong, but I like how a ringing bell-like sound can be heard in the Special Lessons songs. It seems like the passage of time through bells is a shared motif in Crowley’s songs? It could also be a reference to school bells.
I have a theory that these Special Lesson theme songs represent Crowley’s relationship and dynamic with each of the staff members. I separated each song into their different section to talk about, including their bpm/tempo, just because I think the details put into these songs as amazing! Note, I don’t know much about music and instruments haha, so please correct or feel free to elaborate on any information ∑(゚Д゚)
Alchemy Special Lesson BGM (Crewel)
-100 bpm, Allegretto, and in D minor. Allegretto is lively, but it must be executed with a sense of restraint, elegance, and precision. It is not like Allegro, which tends to be happy and upbeat. Allegretto is quite literally “less than Allegro,” so it’s restrained. D minor is a key that is often related to feelings of desperation or distress, which is fitting for Crewel’s students. Although don’t take anything I say about the keys too literally (*゚∀゚*) “Major=Happy, Minor=Sad” is a gross oversimplification of keys, and a song can represent any emotion regardless the key it’s in. However, I think it’s worth mentioning because keys are still chosen purposefully to guide the listener to an interpretation of the music! ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪
-This is honestly one of my favorite songs from the game. I am LIVING for the doublebass in the background. It’s so jaunty and lively despite its deceptively simple sound. It keeps the tempo very well, I love it
youtube
-I relistened to the “Cruella De Vil” song that Roger sings in 101 Dalmatians, and it’s what gave me the idea that Crowley combines his theme with the individual teachers. This song has a elegant yet foreboding vibe to it, much like Roger says about Cruella: “she’s like a spider waiting for the kill.” If you listen to instrumental versions of this song, I feel like the vibe is there
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-The Alchemy song feels a bit tense, especially near the end, where is feels like the instruments are fighting for attention and overlapping each other. Although Crowley and Crewel are both (SEEMINGLY) classy and get along surprisingly well in canon, both of their “teacher modes” are very intense. E.g Crewel with the whole pup thing, and Crowley just being unreasonable over all haha. Perhaps it is why Crewel and Crowley very rarely are on screen together? For both Crewel and Crowley to be present in a Special Lesson must be very stressful for the students, with Crewel being strict and demanding and Crowley just being nosy haha.
-Their relationship fascinates me, as they both seem to respect each other a lot. For Crowley, it makes sense, as he generally speaks favorably of the other staff members. But Crewel is rather critical of both Vargas and Trein, so why is he so tolerant of Crowley’s rather unreasonable behavior? Crewel seems to respect him and consider him to be kind, even though it’s obvious Crowley is not. And like I said, they don’t interact a lot in canon, and they mostly do when the other staff members are there too, so there’s very little time of them talking to each other specifically. But then it made me think how crows/ravens and wolves have a mutually beneficial relationship in the wild, with crows leading wolves to possible prey, and the crows feeding on the carcass once the wolves make the kill and eat their portion of the prey. Research has even discovered that ravens have close bonds with specific wolves in a pack, and often play tug-a-war with wolf puppies with sticks. Thus, ravens are often referred to as “wolf birds.” Due to this, some crows and ravens get along with bigger dogs too, as crows/ravens tend to like canines. So perhaps Crowley and Crewel’s positive relationship is a reference to this, and how they may just instinctually like each other? 🤔 Because I cannot think of a reference from the 101 Dalmatians, Snow White, or Sleeping Beauty to be made here with these two characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-So going back to how the instruments seem to be fighting each other in the end, perhaps it represents how differing Crowley and Crewel’s personalities and teaching methods are. Crowley is strict when necessary, but he’s far more tolerant with student antics and often acts even more immature than the students sometimes and allows fights/conflicts for the students “personal growth,” whereas Crewel has this intensity and energy with the students at all times, never wanting them to be out of line in any matter at all. Like the clash of their hands-off and hands-on methods, but at the end of the day, they’re both rather strict and it’s unfortunate when the students have to deal with them at the same time haha! In their Alchemy Special Lesson voice lines, both Jack and Rook express how intense the room gets, and Room saying HE feels like the prey now. Several other students say how they feel a chill in the air during Alchemy special lessons, with even Floyd saying he gets the “heebie-jeebies.”
History Special Lesson BGM (Trein)
Tumblr media
-100 bpm, Allegretto, and in F major. Allegretto is a common tempo in classical music, alongside Allegro and Adante, so it’s fitting that Alchemy and History follow suit. Ernst Pauer describes F major to express peace and joy, but to have an underlying passing regret and melancholy. I could think of few possible “passing regrets,” with Trein in particular with the passing of his wife, whom he remembers fondly and has many habits in her memory. And of course, History in general causes many regrets.
-After listening to this one, I immediately went to go listen to the BGMs from Briar Valley in Book 7 lmaooo…I find it interesting how prominent wind instruments are shared between these songs, but I need to analyze further before I can say something more definitive 🏃‍♂️ It is interesting how the History Special Leason theme has this whimsical and fantastical feel to it- it’s very fitting.
-On this note, the middle-ish section of the song reminds me a bit of a marching band! Which is. Interesting considering it’s military origins 👀but maybe I have to admit that this is a stretch haha…something to think about though when I analyze Book 7’s music in the future.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-I’m really in love with the “call and response” theme they have with the woodwind instruments (clarinet and piccolo?? I’m apologize if that’s inaccurate, I don’t know much about woodwind instruments 😭 I listened to samples and just made my best guess,,,) clarinet plays a melody and a piccolo responds and repeats the same sound. Not to be dramatic af, but it lowkey sounds like a pair of songbirds who are courting each other, which makes me sad because I’m not normal over my silly Crowley theories🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ When courting, a songbird “sings”so the other bird they are courting can respond. If the courting is successful, the pair duets the same tune, which is exactly what the piccolo and flute are doing. Crowley x Trein is real… (I’m kidding HELP). It goes to show that even though Trein scolds Crowley a lot, they clearly have some faith in each other, especially in Book 6 when Crowley assigns Trein as temporary Headmage. This “call and response” is a representation of this faith, with one calling, and the other responding when it’s necessary.
-Or if you’re ridiculous like me, it’s sad in context because Crowley is an isolated character, despite all the pairs of raven statues around the school haha!
-Interestingly enough, this is the one song out of the Alchemy and Flight themes that does not have a the “ringing bell” I was talking about. Interesting this is missing in the History class, as if time is not relevant/time has stopped. Or perhaps how sense it’s history, we are not at the “present” time.
-Overall, this song feels far more harmonious than the Alchemy song. I think it goes to show how genuinely dedicated Trein is about the study of History, given he’s done fieldwork in the past. Trein is able to keep Crowley relatively in line just like the students, so the song flows smoothly.
Flight Special Lesson BGM (Vargas)
Tumblr media
-140 bpm, Vivace, and in A minor. Vivace means brisk, lively, which signals to the musicians to play with spirit and energy. This tempo is AMAZING, because Crewel and Trein’s were both at 100 bpm, right? But this song is at 140 bpm. It gives a dynamic sense of movement and vigor to the song. At this beat, it’s known that it may make some listeners feel restless, due to the beat being faster than a resting heartbeat range. It was an incredible choice for the Flight lessons with Vargas, as it is a gym/workout class! 140 bpm falls comfortably in aerobic exercises heart rate range, especially since where referring to teenage boys. Haha this may be obvious in music theory/composition, but I thought it was cool! (*゚▽゚*)
Tumblr media
-I was surprised by this one, for how prominent the electric guitar is instead of the orchestra at the start of the song! Crewel and Trein go along with the orchestral theme rather well, making it a strong highlight of their respective songs. Compared to the other themes, the guitar feels overbearing. It’s very fitting for Vargas’ personality, for as we see in the special voice lines, Vargas is a bit much even for Crowley
Tumblr media
-However, strangely enough it works, as the ending portion combines everything quite well. Vargas is one the staff members who I think has the most positive opinion about Crowley. Although Vargas is overbearing, he and Crowley get along really well. In events like Beanfest, they share an equally concerning enthusiasm of the sport of it all. They seem to have a lot together sharing their predictions and ideas for Beanfest, and Spelldrive is also a shared interest of theirs. Funnily enough, I think Vargas of all people is able to take Crowley’s antics more in stride than the other staff members, and vice versa.
-This song ends in a particularly exuberant manner. It goes to show how excitable both Crowley and Vargas be, and how they have high hopes for their students. Yes, they’re a bit much, but there’s a genuine liveliness they both share. Crowley even plays along with Vargas’ strange ideas, like how in an Unified Exam voice line, Crowley thinks that Vargas’ idea of making the student uniforms with heavier fabric to “build muscles” is a genius idea and he wants to look into it more.
-So perhaps this song deviates a little bit more from the classical themes to represent the antics these two have compared with the other teachers?
Did I overthink these theme songs WAY too much? YES LMAO 😭😭😭 But I am so genuinely surprised at how the different Special Lesson themes were made for each class. You would think that the song would be the same, since Special Lessons are rare and last for a short amount of time. It is why I have these little notes about each song, because if the time was spent to craft unique songs, I feel like there is a purpose and thought put behind it? Hmm, I’d like to study more about music to articulate my thoughts better, because I am very interested in Twisted Wonderland’s songs, and I know very little about music!
Edit: the brilliant and lovely @snakevsnis (💞) also sent me a brilliant interpretation that Crowley may also just be the type to “mimic” the personalities of the people around him, especially based on their habits to blend in. I love this idea! It makes me think how Crowley’s immaturity becomes far more rampant when he’s around the students. He’s even a character with a generous voice range, e.g his deep, serious voice in the opening prologue, versus any other time when he’s silly. It’s to the point where his “true” personality is currently ambiguous, as it tends to shift quite a bit. So yeah, I think these BGMs could be representation of this!!
Anyway if the Alchemy special lesson theme song doesn’t get played at my wedding, what’s even the point anymore. L spouse, L wedding, I’m ditching it immediately and running away into the night, taking all the gifts and money with me so I can finally buy a Crowley plushie (things perfectly sane people say)

Some dog movie observations:
The 1990s to like 2010 seems to be the golden age of dog movies. We got Beethoven (1992), Homeward Bound (1993), Air Bud (1997), 101 Dalmatians (1996), Snow Dogs (2002), Because of Winn Dixie (2005), Hotel for Dogs (2009), Beverly Hills Chihuahua (2008) to name a few that I enjoyed. There is also a slew of B-rate movies that while not as good, still have some charm. I will say I think it helps that cgi wasn’t heavily used in movies until the later 2000s and 2010s, and it is my humble opinion that too much cgi ruins the movies. The more tricks the dog actually does on camera, the better. Bonus points if clever camera shots and practical effects are used instead of cgi.
Anything before the 80s? Questionable animal ethics. (The Animal welfare act was passed in 1966, so really anything before then is… wild.)
Now. As we travel into the 2010s-2020s, we see an uptick in copaganda. (Max, Dog, Rescued by Ruby, and a Dogs Journey are some recent ones). We also see an uptick of Really Bad Movies (think like a dog-BAD. Lady and the tramp? WORSE.) we also see a lot of strange indie films about dogs (white god was….. weird.) this is also when the “air buddies” took off to be their own thing, which has turned into an entire studio that makes Bad Dog Movies (and also shows! Pup academy, phantom pups, and one other one on Netflix. They are Bad)
There are also several with like 100 remakes (lassie, benji, where the red fern grows, like 200 different white fangs smh) so I’m not super sure how I’m going to tackle those….
The most popular dog breeds in these movies are probably goldens, labs, German shepherds, Great Danes (! At least 3 so far; marmaduke, the ugly Dachshund, and Chestnut hero of Central Park), old English sheepdogs (! Surprising but there was a few!) and beagles (again at least a few movies). Also, terriers.
Dobermans, Rottweilers, Beaucerons, and German shepherds are top picks for the antagonist characters, or just as Menacing Dogs
There are several I haven’t watched yet because they are not on any streaming service, and I will have to check my library to see if they have any of them to loan. I am looking forward to the Tim Allen shaggy dog (horrifying poster- dog with human eyes photoshopped on), marmaduke (I remember this movie being terrible), cats & dogs (I remember liking these)
Im tempted to try and make a big long video just. Reviewing all the movies I have watched but that is a massive waste of my time and also I have the personality of a shoe so I’m not sure who would actually be interested in watching it. Much to think about.

On a much brighter and lighter topic!
I originally wanted to make this post on my side-blog about fairytales, but I'll do it here thanks to having a wider audience. Because I have not seen people talk about this when I think it should?
I want to talk about Disney's Enchanted and its sequel, Disenchanted.
Tumblr media
So we all know that Enchanted is Disney's self-homage and parody of all the classical Disney fairytale movies. It is the quintessential boil down and humoristic summary of Snow-White, and Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty, and the Little Mermaid, and so forth and so on... It is all their tropes and archetypes and the like. That has been well established, well analyzed, well discussed upon.
Tumblr media
But when it comes to Disenchanted, Enchanted's sequel, there is I think something people completely missed... Haven't you noticed that this movie had the quintessential feel of a "Disney sequel"?
Literaly and figuratively. They pull tropes and ideas and concepts from all the Disney sequels, from The Little Mermaid 2 to Cinderella 3. And by extension, when you look at Disenchanted as a whole, you actually get this very unique and distinct feeling of a Disney sequel. This feeling hard to put into words but that you have upon looking at The Lion King II, or Aladdin II, or the 101 Dalmatians II.
Tumblr media
You know the feeling. You know the type of thing I am talking about.
The movie is not as great as the first one and can only be compared badly to it, but it is still a fine and enjoyable product on its own right.
The movie expands the universe set by the original, and yet it feels like this new story is of a much smaller scope than the first.
It explores the consequences and the aftermaths of the first movie, usually through a "next generation".
It feels weird somehow. Not "uncomfortable" weird, but somewhere between "funny" weird and "bizarre" weird.
Or is it just me? Whereas Enchanted is the essence of typical Disney "classics"... Disenchanted really managed to recreate and sum up perfectly the feel of a "Disney sequel".

Note
Sometimes I forget that "baby Dalmatians have no spots yet" is not common knowledge. I blame child me that used to watch 101 Dalmatians all of the time.
Same. That was one of my favorite parts, when we saw the puppies born without spots.
Didn't know it was the same for Heelers until recently, though.

Disney 100 ✨🏰🤍
Tumblr media
Wishing you all a happy new year and to Disney, a belated 100th anniversary! 🎉
To celebrate Disney’s century milestone, I created an illustration based on 100 of Disney’s most known and loved characters from their respective movies/ series. I’ve included all the ones I’ve known and feel are generally popular but I’m sorry if your personal favourites aren’t here.
This has been in the works for almost four months now but due to many delays I couldn’t finish it on time. So here it finally is!
Out of all these range characters, the hardest to draw was the Cars. I’m not used to drawing cars so I’m not generally good at them (yet). Some of these may look simple and easy to draw but trust me, they’re not 😂.
With drawing the characters and the background, I like to be accurate with the respective style it’s drawn/ animated in and the colours too. But also I wanted to also simplify the 3D ones and add a little depth using shadow to the 2D ones. For example some of these films would have a desaturated grainy effect to it and I wanted to keep that. But finally after months of working on it, it’s completed and I’m happy with it! ✨.
Please, please do check it out on Instagram too:
instagram
If this link doesn't work, my username is @/artofzafrasarfraz - it's where I put all my drawings up on. Please do Shar on stories and comment. Much appreciated 🥹🫶🏼

watched 101 dalmatians today. im so mad we got the cruella movie we did. because 101 dalmatians paints a VERY telling picture in exceedingly few strokes. cruella deville is the child of a no-longer-rich-but-still-Posh family who was brought up to have all the "right" tastes but is now unable to afford any of them. she's the british blanche dubois. in lieu of the expensive furs she lusts after, she turns to dogskin--a cheap imitation of ermine or white leopard. she mocks anita's modest home, yet lives in squalor in her family's dilapidated country estate. she doesn't hate the dogs; she barely feels anything towards them at all. they're a tool, an ingredient, a handhold to keep her clinging desperately to the class signifiers she so desperately craves but can't have. we could've gotten a cruella movie exploring her family's fall, her desperate struggle to reenter the class she's ENTITLED to be part of, a retelling of the 101 dalmatians tale focused around her scheme. but instead we got an inexplicable rags-to-riches tale, and the dog version of "singing killed my grandma, okay!"

Thunderstorms~ James potter and regulus black
James and regulus loved the rain but hated thunderstorms especially in little space. Today was a nice day it was pouring outside and the boys loved it. They begged you to go outside even for a little bit and of course you said yes. When they finally came in they were soaking wet and completely drenched in mud.
By the time you all were cuddling in bed you read them a story and gave them their bottles causing them to knock out only after five minutes. A loud crash of thunder caused James to wake up startled. “Mama” James murmured rubbing his eyes. “Jamie go to sleep” Reggie pouted at the little boy who woke him up.
“Loud thunder Reggie” James whimpered. Reggie looked at the thrashing thunder outside the window. “Its okay jamie just go to sleep” regulus tried to reassure James while trying not to slip himself. James tried to fall asleep but couldn’t stop looking at the window. The thunder was getting louder and louder making regulus slip as well.
They finally decided to go to your room still clutching their blankets and stuffy’s. The slowly opened the door and walked towards you causing you to stir. “Mama” Reggie said softly poking your shoulder. You slowly woke up and saw your boys with tears streaming down their faces. “What happened my loves?” You asked quietly. “Scary thunder mama!” James sobbed.
“Mhm! Weally loud!” Regulus agreed. “Oh my poor baby’s come and lay with mama” you said opening your blanket. They quickly climbed on top of the bed and cuddled into your sides. “It’s okay your safe” you said feeling your heart drop at your two little boys softly sobbing. “I know it’s late but how bout we watch a movie?” You said trying to cheer your boys up.
You smiled as you noticed them peeking up from your chest. “Wif cookies and milk?” Regulus asked sniffling. “Yes my love” you said chuckling softly. You normally wouldn’t give them sweets at night especially this late, but you couldn’t say no. “Can we watch da one wif all the wittle doggies?” James asked smiling. He loved 101 Dalmatians especially when little.
“I wike dat one!” Regulus said with a giggle. “Ok baby lemme go get the snacks and then I’ll put on a movie” you said before hearing them whimper. “Don’t weave us mommy!” Regulus whined. “I’m not baby I’ll be right back” you said trying to reassure him. You quickly got out of bed and got the snacks along with their pacifiers.
“Im back Babies” you said placing the snacks on the bed stand. “Want my paci mommy” James whined. “I have it right here love” you said giving their pacifiers to them. You chuckled looking at the little boys softly snoring. They didn’t even finish half of the movie yet. You decided you guys could finish the rest of the movie tomorrow and turned off the tv before falling asleep yourself.
@siriusblack-whore I hope you like this! I’ll post your second request before midnight<3 thank you for requesting :)

Random thought that's probably unoriginal but hay it's 4 AM and I've been thinking about this for awhile. Ever find it funny the comparison between Oswald's and Mickey's relationship with Walt Disney's and Ub Iwerks'? It's a funny parallel that doesn't get talked about much largely because people seem to forget Ub Iwerks (ironic). WARNING: RANT!
Wanna note this rant is by a person who hasn't properly played Epic Mickey 1, 2, and 2.5 (power of illusion) so sorry if I get some stuff wrong yet I know the premise and key story points. Anyways:
For those who don't know Ub Iwerks was longtime friend of Walt Disney and basically the man who would lead the Walt Disney Studios into being what it is today Ub's technical influence on the animations shouldn't be dismissed at all. The man is responsible for some of the most iconic stuff in Disney history like the colors of Dumbo's "Pink Elephants" musical number, a photography technique for the rain in Bambi, creation of a specialized Xerox machine allowing for drawings to go directly onto cels for 101 dalmatians, and he himself earned an Oscar for his efforts in bringing the mix of 2D and live action together in Mary Poppins. He even directed and worked on while going went uncredited for his creation of the wartime shorts that saved Disney Studios during WW2. From there Ub went back to working on SFX after the war and was responsible for a lot of technical magicry behind Disneyland. Oh he also was responsible for some technical stuff behind Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" where he won another Oscar. So ya know the man had clear innovative talent. Despite this work Ub was a humble man and the only real reason why we know of most of his influence and his history with Walt is because of his grand daughter's own creation of a documentary involving him. Arguably Ub is the real creator of Mickey Mouse although that debate isn't what I wanna talk about and I'm neutral on the subject regarding it. What I wanna talk about is how Ub was always there from the very beginning, he and Walt were together way before Disney was the thing it is today and to get it there they bankrupted 3 different companies before finally making it big. Despite this Ub is mostly forgotten, his input on the legacy of Disney Studios being treated as nothing more than a footnote despite his feats. Ub stayed in the background being the hard working man and animator while Walt was a director and charismatic face. Ub did win two Oscars yet now and days he's severely undercutted and even forgotten despite making most of the original cartoons (dude made Plane Crazy aka Mickey's first cartoon in garage on a nothing budget FFS) and being one of the major catalyst for animation as we know it today.
One person gets all the credit and is the face of a company while the other who helped create it is usually left forgotten and only really known by a certain group of people who are more invested in history. Sound familiar? Of course Oswald isn't as important to Disney as Ub was (sorry Ozzie) yet I still find the parallel really cool and thematically fitting. In Epic Mickey there is a statue that parodies the famous one of Mickey and Walt holding hands, yet Oswald made it about himself instead with him replacing Mickey. This no doubt shows bitterness and resentment and the plot of Epic Mickey features the two eventually making up after it all. Not after ya know after Oswald gets mad and releases the blot and all that after rightfully getting pissed knowing his world was put in danger and his wife was basically killed by Mickey. Everything works out in the end thankfully and in the second game the two are on much better terms of course, in the first game Oswald also does make an attempt to be nice to Mickey because it's what Ortensia would of wanted.
Despite them reconnecting and acting as brothers I still feel like Oswald would hold some sorta grudge. If not for the fame stealing thing at least for the whole "you ruined my world and turned my wife to stone" thing. Oswald is petty enough to make faces at Mickey behind his back, no way is the rabbit THAT mature to forgive Mickey 100% for everything. Still, I feel like the only real way Oswald could ever get over the fact that Mickey took his spot as the mascot and face of Disney is by learning about Ub and his input. This is a neat little head canon I have that Oswald would embrace Ub as his creator instead of Walt. There would be something so fitting if Oswald learned he had two dads and his creation was a joint effort and actively learning about Ub and his contributions to Disney. I feel like instead of yearning for the attention his brother has he'd take a page out of Ub's book, he'd sit in the background and let the fame and popularity go to another despite the fact that there would be no popularity without him.
I made this rant because I was too lazy to draw this but: the idea of Oswald making a statue featuring him holding Ub Iwerks' hand as opposed to Walt's is such a cool and cute idea to me. It would not only show Oswald's acceptance of not being in the spotlight yet it would also honor the legacy of another who was "forgotten".
Anyways rant over, I'm excited for Epic Mickey rebrushed and can't wait to experience it and I probably need to sleep for classes i got later.

For my previous ask about littles Jeong and Tzu I do want to clarify that I did base it on your posts about Jeongyeon liking Paw Patrol and SMC getting into trouble (Because Tzuyu liked 101 Dalmatians)
Also I imagine that at Halloween they dress their pets up as different characters from the show. :))))
hey anon! :) ugh that would be the absolute cutest thing. they would be so giggly and excited to watch together and tzuyu would be happy because little!jeong would always be down to watch anything with dogs in it
babies & puppies
|| little!jeongyeon, little!tzuyu, cg!sana ||
"Wan' watch doggies, Jeongie?" Tzuyu busted into Jeongyeon's bedroom, shuffling over to where the other little was laying down, coloring in a picture of a teddy bear.
Jeongyeon was a little shocked but her eyes lit up as soon as Tzuyu said doggies. She knew exactly what her sister meant. She excitedly jumped off her bed, teddy bear picture abandoned as she pulled Tzuyu out to knock on Sana's door.
"Mommy! Me and Tzu wanna watch doggies!" Jeongyeon knocked on Sana's door, patiently waiting as Tzuyu played with the ring on Jeongyeon's hand.
After a few seconds of waiting, Sana opened the door, chuckling at the two littles standing impatiently in front of her. "What did you say, Jeong?" Sana bent down and placed a kiss on each of their foreheads, running her fingers through Jeongyeon's hair.
"Said me and Tzu wanna watch doggies!"
Tzuyu excitedly bounced up and down, Jeongyeon's hand still intertwined with her own. "Wan' watch Juma! Tzu love Juma!" Tzuyu smiled as she pointed to the dog on her shirt. Zuma, who rescued people and animals from the water, was Tzuyu's favorite character.
"Oh do you guys want to watch Paw Patrol?" Sana nodded in understanding as the littles both nodded. She checked her phone, a little concerned since it was getting late. "It's a little late, but if we take a bath and get changed now I'll let you guys watch two episodes, okay?"
Jeongyeon and Tzuyu looked at each other then back to Sana, both nodding in agreement. They didn't want to have to get ready for bed yet, but if it meant they could watch Paw Patrol, then it was well worth it.
//
After a quick bath and both girls were changed into pajamas, they were ready to cuddle into the couch and watch their favorite show. Tzuyu had her puppy stuffie she had gotten from a fan years ago tucked under her arm and Jeongyeon had her Rex stuffy sitting in her lap. Rex, who was in charge of rescuing dinosaurs, was Jeongyeon's favorite.
"Okay, are you two ready for Paw Patrol?" Sana sat down beside Tzuyu, pulling her into her lap. They both nodded excitedly as Sana turned the TV on. She scrolled through the episodes until Tzuyu picked one she wanted to watch.
As the episode started, Jeongyeon scooted closer to Sana. She laid against her mommy's arm and hummed along to the theme song. There was nothing more she would want to do than watch her favorite show with two of her most favorite people.
"Wook, mommy! Juma!" Tzuyu smiled and pointed out the dog in the orange outfit, looking up to see Sana nodding.
"I see, peanut. He's your favorite, isn't he?"
Tzuyu nodded and turned her attention back to the TV. She tucked her head into Sana's neck, a small yawn escaping her as she watched. Tzuyu was starting to get a little tired but she wanted to make it through the first episode at least.
//
By the end of the first episode, Tzuyu barely made it all the way through. Her head was on Jeongyeon's lap, the rest of her body spread out across Sana.
Jeongyeon managed to keep the younger awake by talking and pointing out little things in the show to keep Tzuyu interested, but by the end of it, no amount of talking could keep Tzuyu's eyes open. She desperately wanted to watch another episode, but her body was getting lighter and lighter as Jeognyeon picked her episode and the theme song played.
About five minutes into the episode, Tzuyu was fast asleep. She curled up further into Jeognyeon's lap as the older little continued to babble on about all the dinosaurs in the episode. Sana wasn't too worried since Tzuyu was a heavy sleeper.
Tzuyu may have been far off in dreamland by the middle of the second episode, but that didn't stop Jeongyeon from telling her all about it. Jeongyeon gently ran her fingers through her sister's hair as she babbled on. It was rare that the two got time together and nothing beat puppies and hanging out with Tzu.

Fic: Untitled
Fic: Untitled
Fandom: Danganronpa, Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Deapir
Pairing: Soudam, Komahina
Summary: Pets AU: Nagito is eager to see his doggy crush at the local cafe.
Rating: Everyone
Warnings: none!
A/N: This was for Soudam Week, however, I didn’t really feel like it fit so I scrapped it. Was trying to do live action 101 Dalmatians from the 90’s but failed lol 😅 Decided to post it for Valentines lol
Nagito’s claws made little clicks as they walked down the streets of downtown Towa. Sometimes being a small dog was a pain, but today he a bit more peep in his step as he lead the way down the familiar path to their new favorite cafe.
“Be at ease my fierce hellhound.” Gundham, his owner, jokingly commanded as the white dog tugged at his harness. “The establishment of refreshments has not suddenly teleported away.”
Nagito huffed as he unsuccessfully pulled his owner along and gave a wicked smirk when the other stumbled slightly. Gundham didn’t understand! It wasn’t just a normal day at the cafe.
Today was Tuesday, which meant a trip to their usual cafe.  And Tuesday meant getting to see him.
His future mate, that tall, handsome beast of dog.
Nagito first saw him at a distance, they had just left the cafe and a particularly rude bird bought his attention back to the shop, just in time to see him. Huge, probably the biggest dog he’s ever seen - aside from Nekomaru - with brown fur and very unassuming air around him that somehow made him more interesting to Nagito. He had been wearing some kind of unusual harness and cloth, with  human words, escorting one of the most unassuming and uninteresting male humans he has ever seen.
Still, if it meant he could get closer to his dream mate, he’ll tolerate just about anything.
The door chimed merrily as they finally entered the cafe. It was a small, yet beautiful building, with a welcoming atmosphere that seemed to have been ramped up to an eleven now that Valentine’s Day were upon them. The counter top was overflowing with hearts, fake flowers and cupids. It was like a cherub vomited in the place.
“Welcome!” Mikan’s owner, Ibuki cried out. The small purple cat jumped slightly at the screaming, but then settled again when she saw it only Nagito and Gundham.
“H-hello again.” She whispered, her bushy tail obscuring the pomeranians view of her face as her owner and Gundham began to converse.
Nagito gave a serene smile as he placed his front paws on the glass casing. “Hello Milan! Isn’t it a wonderful day today?”
“Yes. B-but I think you find it wonderful because of som-someone else.” Mikan whispered, eyes glittering as she twitched her tail to the side. Nagito followed the movement and felt his tail trembling in contained excitement.
Right there, sitting elegantly at the window, was his dream. He was lying there on his stomach, sharp ears up and alert and all his attention on his human, who seemed busy doing something on the computer. Well, that wouldn’t do.
With barely a glance to his friend, the white pomerianian bolted straight to the window booth. Behind him, he heard his owner’s hissed voice commanding his return. Can’t he see that Nagito is on an important mission?
The big dog seemed surprised that Nagito was coming towards him, judging by how he leaped up. Surprised contorted his face and the small dog couldn’t help but find it adorable on him.
“Hello!” He greeted, stopping just a breadth away. It would be rude to get into the other’s personal space without introducing himself. “My name is Nagito.”
The other tilted his head, eyes narrowing in suspicion. Nagito simply sat and smiled, tail wagging. Maybe his mate to be was one of those silent types.
“Ah…hey there?” A voice timidly called out and he looked up to see his mates human looking at him curiously.
He was sort of interesting to look like, sharp featured and long hair that was slight pink grey at the bottom and black at the top. The hair was in a ponytail as to not get in the way of the glasses probably. Nagito gave a cursory sniff of the outstretched hand before turning his attention back to the larger dog. He leaned in to sniff his scent, but the other shied away.
Oh so he was the shy type. How adorable.
“Pardon my ferocious beast! He is being particularly unruly this day.”
And ah, that would be Gundham. Waiting patiently as his poor human jogged over to their window seats, the Pomeranian took a moment to admire his love again. Drool collected in his mouth that he barely contained in his excitement.
Utter perfection.
“Oh no he’s fine!” The strange man said, chuckling as he reached down to give him another scratch behind his ear. Nagito leaned into it slightly, tail sluggishly moving across the floor. This one knew how to give pets, at least. “I think he wants to play with Hajime, which is sweet! But he’s working right now.”
Hajime, his tail started up a tornado cloud of dust. He had name to his dream.
The other dog - Hajime - looked up to his human sharply with a twitch of his maw, but other than that exuded calm professionalism.
Interesting.
Gundham grimaced and had the audacity to pick Nagito up so that he was caged in his arms. Rude! Couldn’t he see he was busy?!
“Apologies! I didn’t notice your hellhounds insignia of protection.”
“Uhm…it’s cool. Hajime is for my panic attacks. They can get kinda bad, but it’d take more than a little dog to trigger them. What’s his name?”
Gundham ducks his head slightly, and his cheeks seem to have become slightly red. “He goes by the moniker, Nagito. And you may refer to me, as Gundham Tanaka.”
The man tilts his head slightly and smiles warmly. Nagito could feel his owner’s heart beating wildly in his chest. He hummed as his muzzle turned upwards in a sly grin.
Very interesting!
“Gundham, huh? I’m Kazuichi Souda! And this,” he looks down and his smile softens as he runs a hand gently across his pets large, brown head. “Is Hajime. You probably wouldn’t tell, but he’s a quarter wolfdog!”
“Fascinating! And a hellhound of such power has not driven you to madness?” Gundham asked, subconsciously sliding into the empty seat across from Kazuichi.
From below, Hajime grumbled as he repositioned himself close to his owners side, glaring at the other man. Nagito began panting happily in his owners lap.
Kazuichi shook his head. “Nah, Hajime’s always been a sweet boy! Never gave me any trouble since I got him. He was trained by a friend of mine and given to me as a birthday gift. Been together ever since.” Kazuichi leaned down and removed the vest from around Hajime. “Honestly, I meant to take this off after we came in, but I got distracted finishing up my research paper. There you go big guy!”
Hajime stood up to accommodate the vests removal and shaking himself after it was gone. Nagito noticed the second he seemed to go into off work mode, muscles laxing and his expression a little less guarded. He sniffed at their direction and Gundham let a scrambling Nagito drop to the ground.
Ibuki took that moment to come over with drinks - Gundham’s usual matcha mocha and another one that also smelled sugary sweet - a wide grin in her face.
“Well well! Ibuki was hoping her two favorites would finally start talking!” She exclaimed, placing the drinks down.
“You know Ibuki?” Kazuichi asked, blinking up at the other over his glasses.
“He sure does! This was the guy Ibuki wanted to set you up!” Both men looked away with heated faces as Ibuki laughed at them. “But who knew you’d get along with little old me playing Cupid!? So lucky!”
“Lucky indeed~,” Nagito purred and Hajime rolled his eyes in response. It only made Nagito’s smile widen as he leaned in. “I hope we can see more of each other soon Ha~ji~me~.”
“How boring.”  And on, did his voice send a plea San shiver down his spine. He nearly vibrated through the floor. “Kazuichi has no time for dating.” Hajime confidently told the other, lying down on the floor. “Between school and work, he barely has time to himself. Best not to get your hopes up for a future meeting Nagito.”
