Today was a really productive day in my opinion! I successfully completed all of my morning routine, and also got in a lot of studying done!
@studaxy and I started Duolingo as well!! I had started learning French way back in 2020 and I was able to read French way before choosing it as a language in school. I got back my language learning bug soooo wish me luck in that :3
Things I did today:
Thirty minutes of Duolingo
An hour of research for my English assignment. The topic of the assignment is "Performing Arts and the Freedom of Expression".
Two hours of physics — got some Module 3 reading done. Rotational motion is a vast concept but I'm pushing through somehow.
when was the last time i posted notes? in the midst of my chaotic life, i'm restarting my in-depth study on ancient egypt. i stopped working on my screenplay because real life got in the way, but maybe this will inspire me to get back into writing :)
graduated two days ago, and now it's time to study for external exams !! (yay... standardised testing) how's everyone been? it's been a few weeks since i posted
12.15.21 | Time lapse ft me catching up on missed lectures while concurrently studying for the final exam. It’s the slash-and-burn mentality that rlly keeps you psyched in
Started with arrays today, easy peasy. Jammed to Speak Now TV with @studaxy and ended up quoting every sad line to them because THEY LEFT ME ALONE (no they didn't I'm just being dramatic.
Uni was fun, I made some friends :3 and helped them get their code right during practical sessions.
Things I did today:
Read some theory of C programming from the text
Tried understanding multiplexers in the library. I found a book that looked like it would help me — it was too complicated. Need to find a new book tomorrow. (Uni 'B' really be having tough concepts with no explanation)
been a while since i posted a photo of my desk! since i had yesterday off, i’m spending the day handling tasks for work and getting myself organized! the list on my little notepad is of cookbooks i saw recommended on tiktok, so that’s just me making a list in case i decide to head out and buy a few. both the notebook and my new calendar/planner beneath it are from barnes & noble (and so is the starbucks refresher)!
I’m going to cover some of my main pages, but if you all want to see more of my setup just let me know! This post is absolutely NOT sponsored or affiliated with Notion in any way, I just love using it and hopefully some of you may find this helpful.
My Life Hub —
I use my Life Hub as basically my landing page where I have links to all of my other categories. I’ve broken down each main area of my life right now into a “hub” so I can keep all the pages relevant to that area of my life together and easy to find.
I have some of my most often used pages favorited, so they show up towards the top on the left-hand column. Each hub is a section below that, so everything is pretty easy to navigate and find things.
Today —
Ah, the today page. Definitely my most-used page on Notion. I have some links to other pages and external sites that help inform what I’ll include on that day’s to do list. I also have said to do list as well as a schedule section where I can plan out my day more specifically. I don’t use it every day, generally just when I have a lot to get done, but I find it really useful when I do use it.
Academic Hub —
This is where I’ll be keeping all of my documents related to school once classes start next week. I have pages for each class that I’m taking (all virtual for the fall), plus some links to resources that I’ll want to be using.
Due Dates —
This is where I keep and track any due dates that are relevant for my schoolwork. Everything from tests to smaller homework assignments all fits right here. On each page for the individual classes I have a linked version of this calendar that only shows the entries tagged with that class name. I love it because if I change something on either page, it will automatically update the other page as well.
Anyway, I’m glad to be posting again. This summer has been all over the place but I’m excited for school to be starting soon for me and I’m grateful to have more routine and consistency back in my life <3
