So in anticipation of ch 110 coming out in a day and few hours...
The situation that may occur and my ways to deal with it -
If Dazai is alive - go my merry way, enjoy the chapter and the good guys win. Because if Dazai is alive then so is Fukuzawa and Atsushi and Akutagawa (and everyone else). It also means Chuuya would be back from his Vampirism and all will be well (I'm not going to accept anything otherwise)
or
If Dazai is dead - live by my headcanon
or
If there is no clear answer about dazai being alive or dead - live by my headcanon
The said Headcanon being:
Dazai is playing a long game.
He just faked his dead. He already had measures in place to deal with Vampirism but he has other, far greater threat he saw coming and wanted to extract himself from the frontlines or the watchful eyes of their new, still laying-low enemy. He also wants to take a backseat and let sskk develop their strategic capabilities. He lurks in shadows, not showing himself, but being close enough that he knows all the details he needs to know, plans five (or fifty) steps ahead, ready to pounce on their enemy - catching them completely off guard.
There's only one person (and a robot) who knows he is alive and well, knows what future dangers look like and knows full well that he had to be on his guard and ready to jump in on any situation that seemed fishy (pun intended).

I'm having so much fun with sherlock & co. And John Watson is always my favourite character, and I love that in the most recent ep he is made out to so clearly be a man of faith, like not religious, but a man who has beliefs and wants to believe in other people
And I love it because it sets him up for something absolutely devastating to happen to him in the future

in honor of the 12th (!!) anniversary of shinee's Sherlock (Clue + Note), let's all remember and laugh about how much that comeback pissed off the bbc sherlock fans on tumblr bc of the sudden influx of korean boys in ""their tag""

Going into any sherlock holmes related tag is like stepping into a minefield i have a bunch of tags filtered and i have to decide based on the combination of tags and the OP whether clicking on 'see post' is worth it or not

I want to know what kind of adventure Liam and Billy had in those months Sherlock was out. Because ain't no way they didn't end accidentally in some big shit considering the chaotic energy both have.

I joined the supernatural fandom a year and a half after the show ended and I assumed there would not be much fresh drama because it was over. But in fact destiel has gone canon like six times since then.

You know, if you let yourself enjoy things in life, you’d get the same feeling you get when you drug yourself. It would be healthier, and the habit would make John smile more instead of frown more.
I do enjoy things, like solving interesting cases. But what if there is no case on to occupy my mind, what should I enjoy then? Then it's just boredom, and that's what the drugs are for.

Okay with all the Sherlock Holmes is public domain stuff on my dash. I’m getting something off my chest bc it’s been rent free in my head for YEARS: I read this anthology of Lovecraft-Holmes fusion stories, and it was great, but ONE STORY BETRAYED ME LIKE NO OTHER. And since it’s not going into public domain I can’t *fix* it. But I can tell you.
The story goes, some eldritch thing is out killing people and if glimpsed, the beholder sees the person they love most doing the murder. It opens with Watson seeing “Holmes” killing someone, and then going through a speedrun of feelings, horror and shock but then right into well he must have had a good reason right? And realizing he won’t/can’t give him up to authorities even if he didn’t/straight up snapped and being struck by the magnitude of what he feels for Holmes meaning that he will cover for him and even if he’s afraid he puts his love for Holmes above it all even morality and decency and every single thing else they’ve ever stood for and he’s horrified for himself but not enough to like even go somewhere that isn’t their flat? His priority is to Get To Holmes and Help no matter what that may mean, and then he gets ambushed (hand over mouth and all iirc) by Actual!Holmes who has corrected deduced that Watson saw “him” do it. And Watson just goes with it immediately and thinks that no matter what is true he’s ride or die for Holmes. Which is uh. Huge. The most biggest romantic thing ever, imo, the revelation that that is the gargatuan, shattering nature of his devotion. Horrifying befitting Lovecraft yet deep and true.
And then the story gets wrapped up, it’s implied Holmes saw *Irene* (which what? He knows she’s capable of stuff like that so why would it be the big bad shock and also I hate when adaptations do that with them) and none of the implications are prodded Watson like “lol, that was some wild shit huh :)” like it’s nothing and not the wildest most insane declaration of love that would change everything going forward, like it rewired my brain because damn that is the standard for ROMANCE.
And they didn’t even fucking kiss.

If Sherlock Holmes was Isekai'd to a fantasy world he would just deduce the rules of this world and get back to solving crimes. He'll find an elf girl sidekick, name her Watson, and pretend like nothing happened.
