i’m very sorry, but you guys have got to properly label your ao3 fics because “bad parents jack and maddie fenton” is starting to really get on my nerves.
and if, in the middle of the fic, you decide to add a tag like that: PLEASE communicate that you’ve done so in the chapter notes. because i don’t recheck the tags after i’ve bookmarked something.
please. i don’t think it’s that big of an ask.

It really isn't a case of him hating Superman, but having a very poor understanding of the actual character beyond the visuals.
Snyder's Superman is all about the imagery and iconography. He likes lifting stuff directly from the comics he thinks looks cool, but never shows much interest in going any deeper than that. His Superman is a model, there to pose for all his pretty pictures and do as little talking as possible. It's no coincidence that Cavill has fewer and fewer lines with each movie (just 13 lines in a 4 hour JL movie) because Snyder also thinks superheroes talking to each other is just too silly.
Snyder doesn't hate Superman, he just isn't interested in the character or idea of Superman, only the image of Superman, and if he could make it an r-rated image for one of his trademark director's cuts all the better.

The “Uchiha Izuna” Conversation - Manga and Anime Comparison
Manga chapter 661 - A Failed World
The “you remind me of him” conversation in the Manga (not official translation).
The downcast gaze of Hashirama gives him something thoughtful, sombre even, despite his slight smile that…turns into an expression of sadness. The closest description I have for his expression is regretful.
There is regret that Izuna was killed and taken from Madara. So much would have probably turned out differently had he survived his wound(s).
This is how the conversation goes in the anime.
Take note of Hashirama’s expression(s)
Ep. 393 - A True Ending
The placement of the shadows in the third panel makes Hashirama look angry…
It is subtle, but in the fourth (and fifth) panel Hashirama is smiling…it is probably meant as a “fond” smile (as in he remembers a moment of Madara and Izuna showcasing their bond, or maybe he remembers when Madara promised to protect his younger brother, or maybe even Izuna speaking in a similar tone to him at one point) but it does come across as…not harbouring entirely good intentions.
What is interesting is that the anime version has Hashirama say “you’re a lot like him” - which could mean that Sasuke’s appearance is similar to Izuna’s, but it honestly reads more like Hashirama saw similarities in personality between Sasuke and Izuna.
In the Manga version (unfortunately I do not have an official translation, be it english or german, for this conversation) Hashirama states simply that “You remind me of him…Madara’s brother…”
Which is more vague than the anime, which implies a stronger similarity between their personalities, rather than their outer appearance.

people in the comments think that "the tea" Scooter has on Taylor is that she's bi and dated Karlie Kloss 🤦♀️ like bffr... the whole kaylor theory doesnt make any sense... Karlie was already dating her husband when they met. Taylor referred to her as a sister in her song. in my opinion they were close but their friendship was also used for PR purposes. I think in 2013-14 Taylor needed to ruin the image of a "guy collector" and it was decided that the "girl power" theme would be perfect for this. Karlie as the main bff fit perfectly, two beauties are best friends who rule the world. each of their appearances was captured. their frienship was more public than any of her relationship with men. idk how people can't see that.

people hating garp for not stepping in for ace but no one hating ace for watching his friends and family all die and risk their lives for him and it all meant nothing bc he couldn't ignore one stupid fucking yo daddy joke.. like garp would have stepped in to help, and been killed or taken into the custody to be executed and it wouldn't have mattered anyways bc ace would have thrown away all the sacrifices everyone made for him no matter what.

both xiao and alisa were the best parts (even if their scenes did get boring at times.) just because whilst i feel xiao could've been a little sillier - she wasn't anything like she was in tk5 and tk6 (which honestly had the worst depictions of xiao imo.) and i feel blood vengeance helped save her characterization a bit. alisa in tk6 was bland, virtually had no character despite being Female Sidekick or whatever. bv had more interesting concepts of her being more socially awkward - likely due to being a Robot. which i liked and brought more to the table than just agreeing with everything mc does because the game needs to go forward.
i feel like they wanted blood vengeance to feel more like a slice of life film. most of the xiao and alisa stuff was boring because of that. and hell, we even got school teacher lee and gym teacher ganryu lmaooo. but they also realized it's a tek movie so therefore, people are gonna wanna see the mishimas and see them in action. which makes the plot even worse because it's clear the mishimas are just sidelined (there to remind you it's a tek movie) because we barely see them throughout the entire thing. and even when their motives are explained, we don't care much because we barely spend any time with them on screen. so yeah, we have an Epic, Over The Top fight in the end because they Remembered It's a fighting Game Movie. but as i said - it was just hard to care about the fight because we spent far more time on alisa and xiao, it just makes you wonder why you're watching these random men fight.
It's even worse when ""DJ"" came in - jin couldn't control his devil powers at all. kaz laughing at him for not being able to. and then... for no reason. jin takes control just because he... chooses to? soooo unbelievable and bs. maybe if we focused more on jin, we could watch him hone his powers but whatever.

Episode 15 is so funny cuz, completely unrelated to the plot of the episode, there's a moment where a now amnesiac Viletta wakes up at Ohgi's place and her tits are fully out. Just completely visible anime tits on full display. And that's literally the whole scene. It adds nothing to the plot with Mao other than add more to an extra plot we'll get to in another episode later on and to just show tits. Like there was no point to it other than just tits. Like god ngkfnfifnfkfn
