Who: @fenriksblade
"Shut up." Dawn said (shouted) suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere from her position curled up at the end of her favourite couch in the compound. She'd arrived early to meet Yseult, and as was a regular occurrence, after a conversation with Fenrik that she was under the impression he probably didn't want, was now scrolling through her phone in nearish silence.
That was until an email popped up on her phone and caused her to sit up straight, exclaiming for a second time, this time with more excitement. "Shut up, shut up, shut up!"

You stood in the middle of a field, right in front of the stage where Corroded Coffin was going to play. You saved up to be able to drive over from your small town to see their concert. They were only doing a couple of shows and you were lucky enough for them to do one only a city away from you. Your friend introduced you to their music, and you had to say you were very impressed.
Pulling your leather jacket tighter around you, you stare up at the stage with bright eyes. Soon the lights lit up and the crowd around you cheered; their screams deafening. You watched as the band's four members walked out onto the stage. One of the band members grabbed his guitar before turning to face the crowd. His curly brown hair covered his face slightly, but you could still see his chocolate brown eyes which seemed so deep and mysterious. As soon as he turned, the other three members took their places.
With a nod, he picked up his sticks and started tapping. With three taps in the air, the cute guitarist in the front began to play an upbeat tune that set the mood for the rest of the show. You found yourself getting drawn into it and slowly made your way closer to the front, your hands gripping the stage. You took note of how amazing they looked on stage, and how much energy they put into their songs. You didn't know what the song they were singing was called but you love it.
As the people around you rocked out, you just stared up at the main guitarist as he did his solo, completely awestruck by him. He was so talented and gorgeous, with his messy curls flowing in the wind while he sang. His voice mesmerized you and it took everything inside of you not to break out in song right then and there, even though you didn't know the song. You wanted to sing along with them, but instead, you stood and enjoyed their performance.
As they finished up their song, the crowd cheered and roared around you. The drummer then tapped his drumsticks together again before another song began. It was slower than the last one but had the same amount of emotion in it. Even when the lights changed colors, your heart skipped a beat. It was beautiful, and you felt like your whole body was moving to the rhythm of the song. Then suddenly, as the light went out and darkness surrounded you. You thought it was a power outage, but one singular light lit up. Pointing right down at the main guitarist as he held the mic and sang with such passion. He had such expressive eyes and they would make you weak with every word he sang.
He closed his eyes as he belted out the end of the chorus before he opened them and they landed on you. Your breath caught in your throat, as he continued to sing while staring down at you. As you stared back, mouth slightly agape, you felt like you were the only people in the world. The crowd around you disappeared and a feeling of some sort of connection engulfed you.
His eyes slowly drifted back to the crowd around him, seemingly lost in his own thoughts. A smile stretched across his face, sending a shiver down your spine. Suddenly, his fingers flew as they plucked at the strings of his guitar, shaking his head back and forth; his hair flying around him. He closed his eyes as he pushed all of his emotions toward the music until it filled the entire stage, radiating off of the stage and into the air.
You didn't know how much time flew by until the band was done.
"Thank you, Smithville!" The guitarist yelled out as the crowd gave a loud roar of applause, cheering for the band as they exited the stage. You pulled yourself together after the adrenaline rush and waited until all the other concertgoers left before you made your way to leave as well.
"Hey! Wait up!" Someone called, making you turn around.
Your eyes widened slightly as you watched the main guitarist rush up to you. He stopped, a small smile on his face as he caught his breath.
"Hey, I couldn't help but notice you in the crowd and wanted to tell you that I love your jacket." He spoke, gesturing to your leather jacket. "Metallica is my favorite."
"Thank you, mine too! And, I have to say, your skills are pretty impressive." You compliment back, "I'm Y/N."
He smiled wider and offered his hand out to you. "Eddie, a pleasure to meet you, Y/N."
"Pleasures all mine," You said as you took your hand in yours.
You both gave each other a firm handshake, and you felt the electricity run through your veins.
"Y'know, I was wondering if maybe I could get your number?" Eddie asked as he grinned at you. You could feel your cheeks burning red as you smirked lightly.
"You want my number?" You asked and Eddie nodded, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
He bit his lip momentarily before speaking, "I'll be honest with you, when I saw you when I was on stage... I was kind of blown away."
You looked at him in shock, "Me? Why?"
"I mean, you're stunning." He leaned in close, looking into your eyes as he spoke. "And you like metal... Total plus."
You were taken aback by the compliments, "Oh, thank you... Uh... Sorry, no one's really taken interest in me before." You said, still stunned by his words.
"How? You're super pretty. Like movie star pretty." He frowned in confusion and shock. "And you seem pretty sweet. Sorry, I'm saying 'pretty' a lot. I would be shocked if you did have any suitors lined up."
You blushed again, "Suitors? Where are we? 1900's England?"
You could see the slight embarrassment on Eddie's face as he shook his head, "No... I don't know. I'm not really good at talking to pretty girls." He looked straight into your eyes, his brown eyes warm and inviting. "So, uhm, yeah I would like to get to know you," This was so unlike Eddie, he was usually a little more confident, and he didn't know why he was being so awkward.
You nodded, "Yeah, sure, sounds great." You opened your bag, and grabbed a small notebook and pen, writing down your number and handing it to the rockstar.
You felt like your heart was about to burst from happiness. Here was someone who actually liked you, and had no clue how to go about asking you out. There was nothing more flattering. You thought that Eddie was a really nice guy, and you were glad you got the chance to talk to him.
"I'll... I'll call you," Eddie spoke, beginning to walk backward a bright, yet with a shy smile on his face.
"I'll be waiting." You replied, laughing lightly when he ran into the stage door.
You made your way home in a daze, smiling to yourself as you drove. You spent the night thinking about Eddie, picturing him. You loved his long hair and his style. His eyes were almost black sometimes but they were so expressive and warm, and you couldn't get enough of them. You had been imagining what it would be like to kiss those lips of his, and the image of that made you blush.
Soon, you fell asleep and dreamed about Eddie.
