It didn't feel right not to sketch this tonight...

I originally had planned to draw Tony saying goodbye to Damon, as a way of showing him moving on. But I went deeper than I thought I would with the idea and instead, I drew a scene where Tony says goodbye to Apalala in Damon's inner realm before he passes onto the Waypoint. It wasn't easy, but this is one of the steps I knew I wanted to take to further my healing over the loss.

Tony rest his temple against the dragon's nose and rubbed the top of his muzzle, making the Water King lean to the touch, so the man smiled and pet him under his chin as he closed his eyes, allowing himself to move on to whatever awaited him now.
