So this week is going to go down as maybe the most sapphic week in animation history. It’s going to have a great case, there are so many sapphic shows or shows with prominent sapphic couples airing this week.

Don’t know what I’m talking about? Here’s a quick rundown:

Yuri Is My Job!

Premiering on Crunchyroll on April 6th.

Yuri is My Job! is based on a yuri manga of the same name. It follows high schooler Hime, who cares deeply about her image as sweet and helpful, even though she’s actually selfish. She accidentally injures the manager of a cafe, and agrees to work there to make up for it. But this is no ordinary cafe, it’s like a cafe dinner theater where all the waitresses play characters from a fictional high school and act out skits for the patrons. Hime’s character is supposed to be in love with one of the other waitresses’ character, but she starts actually falling for the girl. Only problem is, behind the scenes the other waitress seems to hate her.

Yeah, that sounds kind of bonkers! I can already see the story now, Hime starting out playing a role, and eventually having to legitimately earn the love of Mitsuki.

Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story

Season 2 premiering on Crunchyroll on Friday, April 7th

Ah Birdie Wing. If you saw season one, you know just how delightful wacky this show is. It follows the stories of Eve, a golfer that plays in illegal underground golf matches for the mob, and Aoi, a golf prodigy and the new sensation of the golf world. Their lives crash into each other and the chemistry is overwhelming and immediate.

Technically Eve and Aoi aren’t canon as of the end of s1, but it’s hard to imagine that the show isn’t heading in that direction. It makes no effort to hide the fact that these two are into each other.

I’m so excited to see what season 2 has in store for these two. Birdie Wing is just a delightfully weird little show.

Princess Principal: Crown Handler Chapter 3

Premieres in theaters in Japan on Friday, April 7th

Alright, so this won’t be useful to a lot of people reading this, as this is only premiering in Japan this weekend. But I wanted to mention it because (a) it’ll come over to the US sometime this year, and (b) Princess Principal is awesome and I want to promote it when I can.

Princess Principal was a 12 episode series that aired in 2017, and Crown Handler is a six-part sequel OVA series.

In a nutshell, Princess Principal is a steampunk spy thriller set in an alternate universe European kingdom that has been divided by a wall, Berlin-style. It follows a team of spies, masquerading as high school girls, as they try to prevent the two sides from going to war.

I know, “why is this on a list of gay shit?” Well, because it is. Two of the main characters, Ange and Princess Charlotte, are big-time into each other and while the original series does the anime thing of “we’re only allowed to go so far with this”, the OG series has a lot of intimate scenes between the two and does end *SPOILERS* with the two of them sitting on the beach together while holding hands.

And perhaps Crown Handler, being made years later, can finally take their relationship farther.

RWBY Volume 9

Volume 9 episode 8 airing on Crunchyroll on Saturday, April 8th

RWBY has been ongoing, and the current volume has been airing since February, but there’ll be another episode this Saturday. Right now RWBY is in the middle of dealing with a lot of trauma, BUT, the bees are canon and dating so every episode of RWBY is now officially gay. So says me.

The Owl House: Watching and Dreaming

 Series finale airing on the Disney Channel on Saturday, April 8th

I’M NOT READY TO LOSE THIS SHOW! 😭

*ahem* The third and final season 3 special airs on Saturday, and promises to be mega emotional and super gay.

I’m grateful that this show had a chance to finish its story, something a lot of sapphic media doesn’t get to do. But I am still pissed about it getting cancelled in the first place simply because it didn’t fit their “brand” (read: this show is too gay for Disney).

But I just know that Dana and her team put together a sensational finale.

Mobile Suit Gundam: the Witch From Mercury

Season 2 premiering on Crunchyroll on Sunday, April 9th.

Affectionately called G-Witch, season 1 of this show was a revelation in the fall. It follows the story of Suletta Mercury, precious cinnamon roll and the most talented mobile suit pilot around, and Miorine Rembran, daughter of the president of the Benerit Group, a mega-corporation that has massive political power.

The show revolves around a school that’s mostly full of the children of powerful people. And then there’s Suletta, a nobody that just wants to be a normal girl and have a normal school life but through a series of events ends up in a mobile suit duel that she easily wins, earning her the title of Holder, which makes her Miroine’s groom.

At first, the two treat the arrangement as a business arrangement, both seeing practical value in this arranged engagement. But it’s obvious that Miorine is actually pretty into Suletta from the start, and we see Suletta slowly falling for Miorine too.

G-Witch is incredible. Part awesome mecha fights, part political intrigue, part romance between two useless girls who’d rather die that admit their actual feelings.

I am SO EXCITED for season 2!

LGBTQ media hasn’t had it great as of late, with a ton of frustrating cancellations and it almost feeling like Hollywood is going backwards in terms of its commitment to giving us space to tell our stories.

But animation, both in the US and in Japan, seems to be making great strides, being our light in the dark.

All five of these shows are airing episodes this week, and Crown Handler will be in theaters this week and on streaming/blu-ray later this year. RWBY has been airing for weeks and its been the gayest volume yet. the Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady just finished airing and was wonderfully sapphic. I’m In Love With the Villainess is scheduled to air sometimes this year. And just maybe we might get Arcane season 2 before the end of the year.

I’m excited for how sapphic and yuri animation is progressing, I hope it keeps going forward.

1.) Your character is now the leader of their species, whatever that looks like for them (Arcane Councilmember, Imperator, Royalty, etc). How do they govern and what sorts of changes would they make if any?

They would certainly reform education in some way. That's all I can think of rn... :')

2.) What class would your character just absolutely blow at?

(CW: Animal cruelty)

Ranger. They would use any and all animals they find/come across for some kind of fucked up experiment. None of them would stay alive.😞

3.) What person impacted them the most?

*Shows a picture of them surrounded by 500 Joko statues. Surprisingly.*

*Coughs* Anyway, yeah, the moment the asura first learned about Joko in a corner of a library, the impact was made. Gliaster cares about nothing but necromancy and seeing that there was this powerful lich out there was just the cataclysm of everything. Like a god. That man was so otherworldy for Gliaster in everything, even decades later they can't let go of him. Ever.

4.) Assuming they're a commander, how close were they really to Destiny's Edge? To Trahearne?

5.) What would they look like as the side character in someone else's story?

IDK I can only think of as a trope, like in general. Cuz yeah they're kind of a side character for Joko but it's Complicated.

Anyway, they would be the type of side character that's like always around in the background, kind of like as a running gag. Not even them personally always but like a picture of them. Just always there in the corner of your eyes... Always watching.....

6.) They're now a heart NPC/part of a string of quests. What does that involve?

Hhh I have way too many ideas for this. One that would be similar to the Vabbi heart at the Necropolis (Help the living and the dead at the Necropolis) with processing and honoring the dead but also one where they're in Tyria in disguise (they're a wanted criminal in there so gotta be careful lol) spreading Joko propaganda which would be just the opposite of a heart in Ebonhawke. 😭 (Help the people in Ebonhawke). I'm sooo original.

Something other I can think about is some generic asura stuff helping around the lab or with experiments, possibly again involving animal cruelty or even worse, but I already wrote a similar heart for Rikka. 😞

7.) Do they have any skills or abilities that their class wouldn't normally have/just go about their class differently in some kind of way?

Ohhh boy yes they do. 😈 So, they're a necromancer, but with some sub-abilities similar to other classes/specializations' abilities.

For example they CAN "manifest sand shade" like an in-game scourge, but it's actually sand manipulation. They can use sand to lift or carry objects, for example caskets or even themself. They like to make themself taller this way hehe.

They can also summon fire in/around their left hand due to a Djinn's blessing, but can only use it as a light source and can't attack with it.

But most importantly, and also the most powerful of them all, they can manipulate other living beings' blood in their veins, essentially controlling them like puppets. This costs great energy though, so they only use it as a last resort. Later however, when they themself become a lich, this limitation ends and this becomes their main way of practicing necromancy.

8.) How willing are they to bend/break the rules for their cause (be it selfless or otherwise)?

They will literally commit murder for it so yes, very willing.

9.) What's an AU for them you think could be fun to explore?

I do have two AU ideas... one of them fun, one of them just fucked up (and fun. for me.)

The fun: Inquest AU sort of, but so far it's only in the Mists because Inquest member Gliaster is my WvW toon, and haven't really explored it much. Only fashion-wise. Yet.

The fucked up: An AU where Joko somehow has remains. For Gliaster to keep to themself and do whatever with it. And probably prevent any future tragedies that exist in their main verse because of this... :') Exploring dark/taboo sides of my OCs like my life depends on it...

10.) Would/does knowing their backstory change how people (in general but also Tyria at large) view them?

Probably not, it's not like they have a tragic backstory and that's why they are "evil", why they like necromancy or are siding with Joko. Even when they become a lich and seek revenge against Aurene and the Commander, their past doesn't really redeem them.

11.) How accurate is their reputation/image compared to how they really are?

Quite accurate. They don't really show a fake image and are very honest. Their reputation is basically "murderous traitor" in Tyria and "weird little cruel guy who's also Joko's lover" in Elona, so yep.

12.) Have they "completed" the map? What does that look like in your canon?

In-game they do have full map completion of core Tyria and every other map as well because they're my main and I do every story with them, but in canon... A bit of here and there in core Tyria. They used to have a travelling era before they permanently moved to Elona. But they surely have the Crystal Desert and Elona "completed." But they don't explore every tiny bit of areas like how it is done sometimes in-game to get map completion.

13.) What is the worst/funniest/dumbest article that could be written about them in Tyria's trashiest gossip mag?

In Tyria...some big dumb lie of how they betrayed and murdered the Priory excavation team on their way to Elona. People would blow it out of proportion for sure.

Then in Elona.....people would probably distastefully curious and disgusted about their sexual life with Joko.

14.) Biggest misconception about them?

Not quite a misconception but their looks are quite misleading; they're small and have quite a high pitched voice. Probably nobody would assume from first sight that this little creature tortures and murders people on the regular. First, for science/knowledge, then in Joko's name, and later, their own satisfaction.

15.) What is their favorite and least favorite part of being the commander (or whatever role they play in your canon)?

While they enjoy the privilege of being close to Joko, they also love the luxuries that come with it. What they don't like...hmmm...Head empty no thoughts, so nothing comes to mind, but might edit later if I think of something. :^D

How long has it been? You lost count how many times the sun has risen, and even if you were keeping count, you knew it would be a long time since you first arrived. You've been searching day in and day out, but you're tired from it all. All you want to do is stop and rest for the night. You've been fighting off every single monster you could find, but where does a monster go when you kill it in Purgatory? Does it die and come right back a few moments later? You never stick around long enough to find out, but you know you need to stop for the night or else you'll go crazy.

"Okay, I am stopping for the night," you pant and rest against the trunk of a tree.

"We need to keep moving," Benny argues.

"We haven't stopped for weeks, Benny. You might have super stamina, but we're human. We need a break. Now, you two can go off and be fucking heroes but I'm staying here."

"She's right, man," Dean backs you up.

"Fine, I guess we're stopping."

You two walk a few more yards when you see a clearing. In this clearing is a small cave enough to fit a few people. Benny doesn't want to rest, but he will give the cave to you and Dean to sleep in.

"I'll stay out here, I guess. Keep watch," Benny says, not sure what else he can do.

"Benny, I'm grateful for everything you have done for Dean and I, but this is the first time in months that I am getting a moment alone with my husband. I am taking it whether you're here or not."

"There are monsters everywhere, Y/N, with a more sensitive nose than I have. They will smell you and hear you. They will come for you."

"They can try," you smirk, flashing your eyes blue.

You take your husband into the cave and turn to the outside of it, putting your hands up. Your magic stems from your palms and forms a forcefield around the entrance so that nothing can penetrate it. It's thick enough so that Benny can't see inside, and it's also soundproof so that no one will be able to hear you. With this protection in place, you turn to Dean with a slight frown.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"I'm just worried about Joanna. It's been so long since I've held her. I'm worried about what she and Sam have gotten up to back home."

Dean takes you into his arms as he takes a seat on a chair-shaped rock. It's not exactly in the shape of a chair, but there is a long smooth side that is big enough for you to comfortably sit on it.

"I have to believe that she is okay because if I'm being honest, you and her are the only things keeping me going right now."

You look up and stare into his bright green eyes. Even in Purgatory, they look as green as they did from the moment you first laid your eyes on them.

Ten Months Into Purgatory

You didn't know this was going to happen, but at the same time, you knew it would. Ever since your passionate night with Dean in that cave, you've been throwing up every single day at the same exact time. At first, you thought you were sick from the disease and filth that this place has to offer, but when it went on for another week, and then another three weeks, you knew it was something else entirely.

"Wait, I need to stop," you say and pause in your step.

Benny, Dean, and Castiel all stop to look at you. Benny knows what's coming, and before Dean could think about it some more, you bent over and threw up everything you ate. Ever since you found Castiel, there have been more and more monsters after you. It's like they know there is an angel here, so all they want to do is kill you.

"Why do you keep throwing up?" Dean asks. He's so clueless sometimes. "You should really get checked out."

"Yeah, Dean, let me just stop at the Urgent Care right around the corner," you say sarcastically and wipe your mouth with the back of your hand.

"I'm serious. Cas, do something."

"My powers are diminished here."

"The last time this happened, I was pregnant," you reveal, standing up straight and placing a hand over your stomach.

"Are you kidding me?" Dean asks. "I got you pregnant in fucking Purgatory?"

"We did say if it happens, it happens," you shrug.

"Yeah, but in Purgatory?"

"Well, we can't know for sure, but if my stomach tightens and I start growing in a few months, I guess we'll know. Though, I know we have to escape as soon as possible. There's no way I'm giving birth here."

"Let's go before more monsters show up," Benny says, leading the group once more.

OMG hi!! I am so sorry that I didn't hop on here sooner to offer an explanation about what was going on with me for so long 😭 I missed you! I hope you are all doing well 💗 I didn't open up too much about my life on here but I'll share a bit more now -- basically I'm a 3rd year medical student so my days have been insane (I know there's one other med student on Jeff's Patreon but idk if she's on tumblr). I was the anon who posted about the brain zaps on jeffchats lol (PS - I wonder how Jeff is getting his Ambiennnnnn?!?!) 🫠

But yeah it's been so busy. I began formally studying for my board exam by around June. Our class was offered a prep program option for some months time as another educational support option, so I went for it, but things ultimately took a loooooot longer than anticipated, several months longer. Students are given upwards of 8 months without the school/interviewers raising a red flag, so you have to walk a line if you take more time. Taking a step back from tumblr was the right thing for me to do. 3rd year rotations are insane and time-consuming, especially surgery, so idk if I'll go back to taking asks, but I'm still 1000% keeping up with Patreon and hopefully will post here a bit and interact!

The other thing I want to say is that my ears perked up a bit after the V-day tweet sitch with Genelle lol so I have a few thoughts and opinions about it. Idk who is still active? Also I can't say I feel nearly as invested but my guess is that that's all of us? 🤣💀💀

I'll make a post later about my interpretation of the situation bc there's a lot of gray area. I've been watching her vids and have seen her Twitter and generally have kept up during free pockets of time. I'll post in a bit and if it's long I'll share the second half later tonight or tomorrow when I'm free!

F1 Re-Watch 2013: Round 5 - Spain

Okay slightly longer than usual opening ramble bc this is a really sentimental race for me. As mentioned in previous posts, I grew up watching F1 with my Dad but stopped when he passed away in 2007, then at some point in early 2013 I heard one of my friends in High School talking about F1, and I mentioned that I used to watch it, and she insisted on dragging me back in (10 years later, I am indeed still here).

Because of the TV rights deals in the UK at the time, the BBC only had rights to show half the races live, with the rest being extended highlights programmes. So when I invited my friends up for a sleepover, we planned it for a weekend that the BBC had a live race, which just so happened to be Spain, and that ended up being the first F1 race I’d seen since 2007 with my Dad.

I remember almost nothing from it, apart from Alonso winning, because my friend spent almost the entire race telling me who everyone was since there had been a lot of team and driver changes for me to get my head around. So I’m looking forward to actually paying attention to all the on-track action! 😅

not gonna lie, for the above reasons this is one of the races I was most looking forward to, so I really hope this race wasn’t a flop dvdhfvuhdf

Ahh Alice 🥰 yeah summer classes are WHEW I'm taking 2. One is a 5 week session so it ends next week and I'm hype 🤩 we literally had a test every week in that class and we'd do a new chapter of material every single day it was INSANE but I think I'm gonna get an A in the class so that's all that really matters, right??! The other class is either 8 or 10 weeks idk but it ends late July! That one is definitely still accelerated but definitely more manageable that the other. Even tho my professor wants us to read over 100 pages in the textbook while also watching 4 hours worth of lecture videos 🙃 but at least I have a week to do that rather than a night jsjjssj but since I'll still have the other class I don't expect really doing anything over the summer :(( it's my first summer away from my family 😭 hopefully I'll be able to go home for a weekend or something but I don't expect doing anything exciting other than that 🥲 but since I'm at my apartment I spend time with my roommates when I can and I've made some new friends through them so I'm dealing with it well :)

And since its the grand finale and seeing what they're doing, whats the 2nd part called, all the promotional things and everything, it for sure has to be a letter of love for the whole journey (p1 was already), so I'm not worried about Albert really. I mean, as I've said before, he's not even as much of a character as he is a tool to explain Haru's internal struggles, since this Albert metaphor was used even for Haru's childhood. He is literally there to push forward the trauma and make it all resurface, otherwise it would've stayed hidden. The whole s3 and the 1st part of the movie was the base to dig into the rinharu problem that was hanging there since the very beginning, so there's no way the ending isn't the resolve.

The only worry I have really is about it not be... satisfying enough, to say. Because for obvious reasons, I have exteremely high hopes now after certain things and I have no intention of lowering them and the end of april is very soon, so I'm a little bit worried xD But I really hope they'll go all out since I don't see what they have to lose really lol

So like I'm absolutely sure the ending is gonna be very happy, but.. is it gonna be happy for my ass? Idk haha. I mean, to me for Haru and Rin to be truly happy, they have to be together, so... soo,,, xD (I'm here ready for the disappointment haha I'm kidding but u know what I mean).

Rationally speaking I'm pretty sure Rin is gonna get his medal, Haru would defend the honor of the water and clear it from Alberto, everyone (but mainly Rin) will play a role into bringing him back and his joy of swimming back by telling how much he means to them and what his swimming brought into everyone's lives, Rin will prove that he's not going anywhere etc etc. and all is gonna be fine. But I still think that like.. I dont wanna be that person, but I really think that after everything and their dreams of getting there, they deserve to be together together. This whole show's implication is that from that one moment in life they just simply couldn't be happy without each other. So no swimming, medals or anything would satisfy their soul really. Not to mention that it really reminds me of one canon couple that had the same problem and one also had this trauma about the other one leaving, but as soon as they started dating, it was all fine and he was like "well now that you're mine, u can go whatever lol".

I just never felt that for Haru it was only about his abandonment issues since his Rin problem prevails over everyone else even tho he's not technically the closest person to him. That means its just mainly not about that. Bc if you see other examples of him mooving on from someone, it's suddenly all okay. Like first time Rin left they didn't even know each other for that long to be that affected just cause his issue, if you know what I mean xD So like... the happy ending for him would be... you know...

And I just think it'd be super cool if they finally brought to a conclusion their point about the main metaphor of the show of what it means for these two "to be free".

3. :O I haven't even considered it, honestly mainly bc I can't call myself much of a writer, bc those fics are usually smth like "GOD PLS SMB I CAN:T WAIT I NEED SMTH FIX THIS" LMao brain won't calm down things, I'm not sure I can actually sit down and write like long quality shit and be very dedicated. Although out of all the ships I have, it certainly be of of the 2 I'd actually consider doing it haha. Maybe... maybe tho depends on how it ends really, I mean it'd be cool to put all the novelization and all their stuff and mix it with hot shit xD But buuut imagine how freaking looong it would be.... all their summers, weird trips, holidays... all of the... daaaang I'd die putting it all together lol. But god do I wish it's be like book series too. We'll see, we'll see how april goes :D

It'd be really cool to make like in Eternal Summer some maybe tiny flashforward at the very end, where its all in the right place :)

Okay, Ismail is overwhelmed because they're scared they might lose Sascha as a friend if they tell him they like him. But for 8 weeks there were no scenes giving us a slight idea that Ismail might want to have more than a friendship. They ditched Sascha, didn't listen to him, acted like they don't care about Sascha one bit. And now, without any new info, we're just supposed to believe they were secretly crushing on Sascha? This season makes no sense at all. 😭 Or did I miss some clips/scenes?!

i don't really get it either anon, like at all lmao. the whole thing just doesn't make sense at all to me

tbh i've decided to stop caring about this season bc i don't care about ismail (hell i don't even like them), i don't care whether or not they end up with sascha, i don't care about anything that happens to them and this season is already too messy for me to find any real interest in the last 2 episodes

i'm just still here for the other characters bc i genuinely love them. i love druck too, despite this trainwreck of a season, and i want this show to end on a good note, not... whatever this nonsensical mess is. i'm just really sad and disappointed that for almost 3 years, druck has continously managed to make good, cohesive seasons with important messages to take from, and this season is just... anything but that? like what am i supposed to learn from this season? that some people can get away with anything and don't have to go through some shit so they can grow from their mistakes? that your best friend can be questioning your entire friendship to him and call it toxic and then a few days later forgive you unconditionally only because you told him you don't want to be a bad friend without actually showing that you put some effort into proving to him that you're not a bad friend? because making samosas and sleeping on the stairs in front of his apartment isn't gonna cut it i'm sorry

yeah idk i'm just super frustrated. this season could've been so great, it had so much potential, but it's just so unsatisfying to watch because barely anything makes sense and the writing is just plain bad most of the time.

Time for some Doctor who updates! Instead of making a couple different posts, since I don’t have a lot to say but I wanna comment on the last few episodes I watched, I’m gonna do it in point-form.

I am in season 9 now, and I’ve gotta say I think the twelfth doctor has grown on me since my initial reaction. A bunch of mutuals told me he was their favourite so I had high expectations and was kinda disappointed when I started season 8, but I can see the appeal now. However, I think he’s still probably one of my least favourite doctors ranking-wise. We all know I love ten, and I actually really miss eleven now that his era is over so I think nine and twelve may be tied for third.

I love when twelve plays the guitar that’s cool. Also the sonic sunglasses?? He’s doing it for the aesthetic and I can respect that.

I really like Clara and twelve’s relationship/friendship dynamic. Probably more than eleven and Clara, honestly.

Episode 9 - “Sleep Now More” was soooo good. Like the actual monster itself was kinda eh and the scientist-evil-plan dude was confusing at the end (although tbh I wasn’t paying attention at that point) but the whole commentary on the capitalist nature of society and how hustle-culture promotes the thinking that people only have value while they’re working and that if they have time that’s what it should be used for, while casually examining the importance of sleep for the human body and how it’s a huge literary theme for a reason was bloody excellent. When I read the title of the episode I immediately thought of the Macbeth quote the doctor says during the episode and how throughout the play Macbeth’s insomnia increases as his guilt does and that it contributes the mental illness that follows his murder of Duncan. Same with Lady Macbeth sleepwalking before she kills herself. And throughout whenever he says crazy stuff Lady McB is like “you lack the season of all natures, sleep”.

So addressing the fact that if corporations could find a way to push their workers even harder and cut out the perceived waste of time that is sleep, they would (this was like 3 years ago too before Covid made this painfully clear) and then personifying the harmful lack of sleep that’s been identified often in historical literature (as well as by doctors and scientists) into an actual monster? Yeah. That was a good episode.

“Heaven sent” was so good can’t believe he died and re-teleported himself over and over for billions of years holy shit.

And it was really cool whenever he’d sorta retreat into his own mind, in the Tardis and talk to a memory of Clara basically and figure out how to not die.

And OH MY LORD HES ON GALLIFREY WHAT’S GONNA HAPPEN NEXT

And that’s where I am. I haven’t quite finished season 9 yet but I’ve only got one episode left: “Hell Bent”

So I’m excited about that but don’t really know what to expect and I know that twelve has new companions in the next season (and Missy comes back too I believe) cuz i know they exist and I know that he only has one season left cuz Jodie Whittaker comes in and is the thirteenth doctor in seasons 11 and 12 and I’ve also seen the trailer for season 13 and I know that that’ll be later this year and it will be her last season as the doctor. So I’ve got all that to look forward to.

My thoughts on tasm2 (because I watched it for a sixth time this year)

Alternate title: I have a lot of thoughts about a movie that makes me cry; most of which are about Harry Osborn and/or Peter Parker. 

Movie trigger warnings: flashing lights and body horror.

7:39 - The delight that Peter takes when he’s swinging around New York?? Amazing.

10:56 - Peter talking to inanimate objects and then hyper-focusing on catching said objects, and then as a result of this getting hit by a car…..he’s autistic.

13:44 - Gwen’s valedictorian speech is so so good. 

15:15 - I LOVE THEM!!!

20:22 - The way Peter throws himself into his vigilantism (is that a word?) as he can’t bear to think about his personal problems..........oOF. Peter you need to talk to someone. Get some help, please.

20:46 - Not me crying while thinking about how Peter would always be there for me and tell me exactly what I need to hear. Totally not.

23:23 - ‘I was cleaning the chimney.’ ‘We don’t have a chimney.’ ‘WhAAAAAAT?’ ICONIC!!

27:54 - I get what they were trying to do with the cut from Max’s internal thoughts to him actually standing in place, but it just. doesn’t. work. 

29:36 - I just realised the framing of them is done like this on purpose. To show that Harry will eventually be overshadowed. 

30:55 - So, Harry got sent to boarding school at 11, so that means Peter would be 10 when he left. Peter lost his parents at six, so he only had Harry for five years and then he lost him again after he returned - 8 years later (when he became the goblin). 😭

31:29 - Dane’s put so much effort into this performance, and it shows.

31:47 - Norman, I think a better idea would have been to tell Harry about the disease and then actually let him HAVE A NORMAL CHILDHOOD.

33:18 - Peter, I love you. But why do you spell ‘pics’ with an X??????

33:42 - Ah, yes. The universal constant that is Peter Parker forgetting to buy eggs.

6. How’s the pandemic treating you?

tbh it’s been... pretty rough. Like from March until maybe 2-ish weeks ago it hit really hard where I am. every day a couple thousand new cases, easily. I personally haven’t lost anyone Alhamdulillah but I know people who have. Anyway yeah it's been getting better recently & everyone is taking that plus the weather as a green light to go back to normal. like tf, this ain't over!!

Ok so i REALLY don’t care how dumb this sounds, the disney movie Hercules is my absolute FAVORITE movie and i love it so much. it's probably a mix of childhood nostalgia, love for the blatant SASS, & the gorgeous art style. older disney movies are so visually pleasing! i could talk about them forever. i actually watched The Princess & the Frog earlier today & man... the love & care behind the animation/ design of that movie 😭. soso pretty to look at.
