I want to enter the void within this week. I have been trying and affirming right before I go to sleep and I can feel my body falling asleep or kind of vibrate like it's going numb but I never get in. Any advice or methods I can try out that might help?

Hiii my love, also it's been awhile since I answered a void/ Loa ask. I missed yall tho. Yess, I do have a method that you might wanna try and I think everyone should too. I'll share the method below with the links and stuff ♡

✩ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐑𝐀 𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐃 ✩

( This is a void state method and can also be used as a shifting method, but only use it for shifting post-void state as the whole point of this IS to get you into void state >:) if you use this for shifting it will be an awake method, but you can turn it into an asleep method if you prefer after you enter void ) Credits to Eros !!

This method has worked for me everytime I've tried it and usually takes about 5 minutes to enter the void. i have had minishifts while using this btw and my most powerful and intense minishift was actually when i first made this method.

For this method you need to be relaxed, i usually do this when tired but it works best when you're not drowsy, i dont recommended being tired to the point you’re about to fall asleep but moreso in a state where you think youll be up for about an hour more before you go to bed :smile: i HIGHLY recommend it is night time.

✧ Get in a quiet and DARK environment and turn on some theta waves, i HIGHLY recommended theta and/ or epsilon waves or binural beats. Make sure it is dark and nothing is bothering you. I'm ngl to you guys the ones i find most helpful are these here, ive literally had the most shifts with these than with any other sub/waves I've ever used, and I've also had the most powerful experiences with them.

✧ Lay in starfish, ik ik but this is very important for this method on its own, you won't have to fall asleep for this at all so dw about that. i recommend lying on your side for like 20 minutes beforehand so you’re uncomfortable on your side and lying on your back feels nice and welcoming. you dont have to be directly in starfish but make sure you're on your back and your limbs aren't touching.

✧ Relax your whole body, go from your head to your toes, release your forehead muscles, unsquint your eyes make sure they're relaxed, release tension in your shoulders, then your left arm then you're right and make your way down your whole body. Relax it fully and make sure there is no tension in your body.

✧ Now imagine your seven main chakras, see them in your minds eye and focus on seeing balls of white energy where they are. then start feeling the energy within your body. start from the root and count upwards to your crown chakra 6 times, feel the energy there and see the light get brighter and stronger. feel your eyes move beneath your eyelids as you go upwards (do not force this movement or try to move your eyes forcefully, it should happen naturally as you imagine focusing on different spots of your body). take your time with this and please dont rush it, you are supposed to FEEL. Here is a picture if you dont know the main chakra points.

✧ Now for the seventh time imagine the energy orbs connecting to one another, as you move up your body imagine the white light connecting from your root to your crown and creating a straight line of energy connecting your head to your toes, the second it all connects hold the image and focus on your third eye and the energy it holds, then release. the second you do this you should feel a sensation in your body and possibly see lights, you are in void state.

✧ From here affirm things such as “i am more than my physical body, i am not attached to a physical body, i am pure consciousness, i am in the void state” if you feel it necessary.

also this'll sound weird, mainly because I can't really explain it and I'm still working thru it, but I wanted to say thanks for writing it? Finding it again and reading through it reminded me of things I had forgotten about myself for a while. Which has really helped from then to now. So, yeah, as silly as it sounds, thank you. :}

Long answer under the cut

I go back and forth on whether I'll ever update WoL. It just has so many bad connotations and memories for me about the headspace I was in while writing it, and where I was at emotionally, etc. On the other hand, I'm also incredibly proud of some of the insights I wrote about Gaz's perspective, and the overall plot twists and where it was going. I also still have a TON of writing for it still in bits and pieces, both important chunks and unimportant, AND like 4 chapters of the sequel written.

Sometimes I'm like, well, I could sort of finish it in the same style that like That Thing on Your Wrist and What We Become, which are more written in sort of continuous blurbs with gentle transitions and takes occasions to focus on really important scenes. I think with what I have written, it'd be feasible, but that'd also mean taking time away from my more important projects like Dead Weight and Re:MHNY2, so I hesitate to really commit to anything. You are not the first person to ask though, so that may be something I end up doing in the long term. A quick add up of the chunks of the story I have written says I have roughly 53k words of unpublished story for WoL. On the one hand, a shame to go to waste, on the other hand, I'm not really sure how I'd feel emotionally about trying to dig it back. Like I said, I go back and forth. Just for bonus trivia, since I gave the unpublished word count for WoL, it's sequel, which had a pending title of War on Finality, has 25k words written, and about a 2k words worth of ideas that I wrote, but wasn't sold on including.

I super appreciate btw your note about "things I had forgotten about myself for awhile." That really resonated with me. WoL has is a bittersweet for me because while it was my attempt to push through the gross stuff happening during that time period that I hadn't processed yet, I'm still also really proud of the messages I was going to include, some of the plot points I'd come up with, plot parallels, the OC's character development and direction, and how incredibly different it was going to be from anything I'd written at that point. I think it'd probably have ended up being one of my most emotive fics, and definitely with the (initial) darkest ending.

That being said, the plot of WoL definitely is it's own whole ass post, so apologies for not being able to answer immediately, but I genuinely think I'd break the character limit of tumblr if I tried to go into it all here lmao. Also, since it comes up sometimes from other dm's I've gotten, I think the better idea for me to do is make a masterpost about WoL and where it was going, include some screenshot blurbs for context, etc. That might take a few days, but when that posts, I'll reblog this with the link to the masterpost.

Anyway um YES i love fnaf, esp the first games like 1-4. Fnaf2 is my favorite and fnaf world is my second fav. I also play alot of minecraft! And on bedrock edition so twins lol. My irl friend group has been playing together recently and the new update is really cool :D.

I have a switch as well but the only game i have is Animal crossing. But i got burnt out on it and havent played in awhile. I've always wanted to try splatoon cuz it looks really fun.

As for golden guns, i have mercys golden staff, zaryas golden gun, and tracers golden guns. I think the next one im going for is either Soldier76 or Ashe. And dw about your SR lol, i didnt start playing comp until very recently, like I started sometime last year, and i only play because my partner really likes competitive.

That’s so funky!! FNaF 2 is my favourite too :DD not so much a fan of FNaF World (not because of its… odd history, but more so because I’ve never really been attracted to RPGs—besides Undertale). I haven’t been able to play MC since the update, mostly because I got bored having nobody to play with and there’s just no joy in it for me like this aha

I feel that so hard, I put about 600 hours into my NH island and just got drained by it after a year of playing it, however I truly do recommend Spla2n!!

Oooo this is where things get funky. I hyperfixate MASSIVELY on the band Kaizers Orchestra and have for a good four years now, they’re a (now broken up) Norwegian alt-rock band who played from 2000 until 2013, I ended up starting to learn Norwegian because of them :)

Other music artists I like are Shayfer James, Grandson, Tally Hall, Lemon Demon, Mother Mother, Sir Chloe, Alt-J, The Correspondents and Will Wood :)

Other stuff, not a big fan of reading, the only YouTuber I’m really into is Thomas Sanders (for his Sanders Sides series), however in terms of YouTube based series, I’m just gonna list my faves with a short rundown :)

Autodale (animated dystopian future horror)

Endventures (an old, cancelled Minecraft animation series which very recently got closure)

Considering your last ask, has there been any new Voltron news or murmurings? I've been away from canon Voltron for a while lol, so now I'm lost to anything DW has been doing recently (except She-Ra, which boy, did a lot to show how full of shit Monsantos was abt not being allowed to put stuff in VLD)

I need to say this. I doubt DreamWorks cares, but just in case - I want them to understand how VLD Season 8 harmed their branding.

I swore off all DreamWorks projects, so I haven’t seen any new content from them since VLD Season 8. I haven’t watched any other series of theirs since TrollHunters ended last May, despite the fact of loving She-Ra as a kid. (It was my “Voltron,” though I watched Voltron, too.) I also wanted to watch 3Below since I loved TrollHunters, and geez - How to Train My Dragon was one of my favorite movies. My mom asked me repeatedly when we were going to see it. I told her no, and we haven’t. My sister had a chance to see the DreamWorks Experience in Australia, and she held off because I asked her not to go to the theme park.

(Btw - from the rumblings across my dash, one of Bow’s dads are named Lance, and there was an episode called “White Out” in Season 2? I guess DreamWorks wants to cross promote, but geez...maybe don’t, DreamWorks?)

To answer your question - I don’t know. I check the “news” feed on Google every once and awhile. The Geekdad article was the last one I know about, and I remember seeing a Trolls’ article in March that said Voltron would be getting another season this year. I just assumed they meant She-Ra and not Voltron. 

Ooh, found it - “Dreamworks and Netflix continue to pump out a solid stream of content in 2019 with titles like Captain Underpants and Voltron already getting an update with the promise of plenty more throughout the year.”

In response to the Justice for Allura letter-writing campaign, Bob Koplar said Allura would be back in the next installment of Voltron, but...duh? I didn’t think WEP would leave off Allura in their next series, but how Allura will be portrayed is the question. And will that be in the VLD universe or a reality like VLD but not quite the same? Or will WEP break from DreamWorks entirely and do their own installment again? No news yet on that, that I know. 

I will say this - a lot of Voltron: Defender of the Universe shirts dropped on Amazon a week ago. One VLD shirt accompanied the drop and was official. It was named - “Voltron Legendary Defenders Main Cast Action Panel Logo T-Shirt.”
