Using forbidden magic, Kafka has altered various part of her body. Most notably are her ink claw and her augmented vocal cords. The ink claws are hollow inside and hold ink, allowing her to cast spells on the fly easily. The augmented vocal cords are a key component for her Spirit Whisper spell. Her voice is capable of speaking in a frequency that can only be heard by the spell's victim.

Kafka belongs to a group of Brim Hats called the Stelleron Hunters, who, true to their name, collect Stellerons.

Not much is known about stellerons, except that they are harbingers of disaster. Is they remnants from before the Day of the Pact? Perhaps ancient contraptions? Or maybe signs of divine wrath? Rumour has it that knowledge of it's true nature is only know by the Three Wise ...and the Stelleron Hunters.

While travelling on its usual route, the Express suddenly screeches to a halt. It's stuck. As the the crew members (Pom-Pom, Himeko, Welt, Dan Heng and March 7th) rush to the front to check what's wrong, the power goes out. Neon pink webs shoot up from the floor. Then, illuminated by the glowing webs, a woman with striking purple-pink eyes appears.

"Kafka." Himeko stands protectively in front of her fellow crew members, weapon at the ready.

"Relax, Astral Express." Kafka's smile curls up further but doesn't reach her eyes.

"I've brought gifts~"

DEMI, the BBEG of a cyberpunk/computer horror campaign I've started conceptualizing. Snarky insane computer. My beloathed To make a long story fuckin short I recently became enamored with AM from IHNMAIMS, thanks in no small part to a truly amazing animatic on YouTube of the "HATE" monologue. After I discovered that, I listened to the radio drama, then watched some clips of the game, and it was all over for me. Now I have an evil robot man and a new freaking campaign. Whoops.

Okino feelings

I mean I kno the players in prime empire got cubed when they died but like I still can’t help but look at Okino’s devastation over his apprentices dying and how to him it’s a real and true experience but to the apprentice it’s just a kid huffing in frustration and throwing their controller on the floor because DAMMIT they died AGAIN now they gotta start ALLLL over and now that he’s out of the game I wonder if he personally struggles with the his feelings vs the “true experience” bc none of those ppl actually died yet the grief and the sense of failure is still there

#ninjago #okino ninjago #ive been thinking about how some story heavy video games have like codexes with an abundance of info that cutscenes dont have the time #to put in and i like to think that prime empire had these for their npcs as well #and okino had a backstory of someone important in his life dying as well but like #this important person has no model. theres no concept art or cutscenes involving them #and when okino leaves the game he comes to realize those memories are like 'fake' #this person doesnt even have a name. theyre just described olong the lines of just 'his wife' or 'his teacher' or dad/mom/child/etc #and they have no face or name and okino is just stuck in this space of 'i remeber it clealy but also i dont' #just bc it is WRITTEN in his character info sheet and he struggles w this idea of 'can i even consider this real' #idk idk i wanna write something about this sometime i love okino
