Raymond Neville Jenkins. Helicopter Guide. Sixty-Three-Years old. Male. (NPC)
Ex Navy Helicopter pilot. Was shot down in the Gulf War and had to survive four weeks in the middle of the desert being continuously shot at. Lone survivor of a crew of eight.
After returning to the states he was medically discharged and eventually found work flying tourists around Flatland, Montana.
His wife left him during his Gulf service and now lives with her new husband in Florida.
She was awarded sole custody over their twin boys, because she convinced the judge that Ray was a danger to them due to his issues with PTSD.
Ray keeps a photo of his two boys in his cockpit, where before every flight he tells them 'he's on his way to them.' His eventual goal to save enough money to pay for both of them to attend college.
A day before the shit hit the fan, Ray's twins showed up at his door. Dressed in Navy uniforms. They told Ray they found every letter he sent them hidden in a shoebox in their mom's room and that it wasn't until Ray's old boss interviewed them for their College applications did they know where to find him.
They all made plans to catch up once they graduated from Annapolis. Ray told them about the money he'd been saving, but they told him to use it for their reunion. That fly fishing trip he'd promised them when they'd been children.
A trip that would never happen.
News breaking out all over Ray's radios (Ham Radio specialist), that the world had gone legs up.
Hoping to reach his boys Ray set off in his helicopter. However, he was forced to set his chopper down because of numerous mechanical problems. It would seem his chopper had been scraped by another pilot working at the company.
Hiking up to the top of a peak, where Ray knew a fire tower stood, the man joined up with Will and Carlene.
He has offered assistance in aiding the group until he can find parts to fix his chopper.
His main goal to get to Maryland and his boys.

It really makes me feel insane that people call wyll boring for being nice but then get obsessed with like dammon whose only personality trait is “nice.” Fandom so racist it makes you feel like you’re in a twilight zone episode
